Restaurants like this are never as full as they deserve to be. Everything we had was really excellent. The wedge salad was crisp and fresh with just enough dressing. The shrimp and bacon Mac and cheese was a HUGE portion, and so very comforting. Delicious. The prime dip was tasty too. Definitely massive portions tho! We couldn’t finish our food. Haha

Hands down, Miriam is the best. My team and I drove down from the Bay Area for my fight this past weekend and Miriam was the highlight to our stay. She handled multiple tables and still managed to make great conversation with us over breakfast. Overall, very sweet woman and super honored to have met her and share a couple moments with her before and after my win.

Good atmosphere, very pleasant service. The clam chowder is excellent, great flavor. Wonderful location at the marina. Really enjoyed this place. Recommend to all.

Surprising that a pretty small hotel runs such a nice restaurant and bar. This place is legit, and the service is super friendly. Good food. With a beautiful marina view.

Right in the marina, on street parking, bright and open, plenty of outside seating, normal pub food selection, very good quality and value. Can see this being quite a hotspot for boaters.

Service was great and the Ahi Tuna was mouth watering! The sauce on the Mac was delicious!

My family's been coming here for years, mostly to entertain friends and business clients. There's something so elegant and relaxing about this place, whether its the gracious service, cool breezes and marina views, or good company that comes to visit from all over the world. As a local, I'm proud to see how happy the guests are here, especially when they catch a sunset, rockin' sounds from Humphrey's, or the nightly Sea World fireworks from the pool! It's a wonderful thing to have in the neighborhood: a place that welcomes locals, boaters and tourists alike. Relaxed enough for families, but classy enough for a date night. Today I tried the house-made chili and it was fantastic. Smoky and rich with a bit of heat-- my new favorite! I'm excited to try breakfast here. They have a great happy hour as well. Great service from Tera today, and the bartender John always welcomes guests with warmth and humor. Simply put, it's the kind of place you want to visit again and again over the years! Thank you Bay Club and Quarterdeck staff, for your hospitality and friendliness. We're so lucky to have you!

Located right across the Bay in San Diego California. Amazing staff food and can't beat the view!! The best bar tender named Dan!! The hotel is amazing too with balcony and Bay view. Staff really goes out of their way to provide excellent customer service. But the parking is extremely tight so bring your compact car lol.

Ive been going back to this place primarily because of the excellent service I've receive each and every time from John Ortiz. He is one of the best waiter/bartenders I have ever encountered. His bubbly, courteous and respectful personality always makes each visit a wonderful experience. The food and drinks are always good and the service is just the best!

Had dinner there. We were pleasantly surprised. Service was excellent and the food was very good. Also reasonably priced. Stayed at the hotel and loved that we could catch a dinner or breakfast there. Had a wonderful stay at the bay club hotel.

Beautiful views, not crowded. New chefs, better food than pre-covid, still the reasonably priced hidden gem it has always been, except that everything is really spiffed up and looking even more beautiful. Families, couples and singles will all feel equally welcome and at home.

The Quartedeck is an amazing lounge with excellent friendly bartenders, and awesome service. The Salmon is out of this world. I Started out with the Clam chowder which is the best I think in the city, over the Brigantine to be honest. Then the Wings which were so good with their house made ranch dressing and the best Buffalo sauce. If you just wanna relax after a long day of flying and staying at the BayClub I highly suggest having a seat in The Quarterdeck lounge either at the bar, or the pool, or at a bayview table overlooking the beautiful sunsets and sailboats. Amazing Customer service! Awesome food! I've been coming here for 7 or 8 years now and this is the spot! Great prices! Good Atmosphere. Very friendly staff! And most of all just a really cool place that we stayed in San Diego.

The food was very good. We were pleasantly surprised. We had 2 meals there. Breakfast and dinner. We didn't ask but the eggs didn't seem like fresh eggs. Maybe out of a carton. The seafood was very good.

This is a great place if you happen to be at the marina. Excellent bartenders. The food is okay, especially if you're hungry. The bar is small but well stocked.

Summer was exceptionally on top of our Thanksgiving dinner with my wife. The service was top drawer and cuisine was delicious. Will recommend Quaterdeck to all whom seek a pleasant and cozy getaway.

The Bay Club has been the perfect place for our family (12 kids and grandkids) for many,many years. Great accommodations, Wonderful friendly staff and priced right. Highly recommended!!

The best Clam Chowder I have ever had! Incredibly rich and flavorful. The staff/bartender was very kind and attentive. There was some construction going on near the patio, but the soundproofing inside is so good, we barely noticed! Otherwise a calm and quiet atmosphere. Their salmon was outstanding, and they also have great options for non-seafood lovers. The Grilled cheese was excellent, according to my husband. We had the lemon cream cake for dessert and it was amazing! Highly recommend, very reasonably priced for the amazing quality of their food!

My wife and I had the Bay Club Nachos which we thoroughly enjoyed. My son had the kids pasta which he also enjoyed. The convenience of it being in our hotel was great. The view, like most places in San Diego, was beautiful. Our waitress was very friendly and provided great service!

Miriam was the most wonderful waitress. She is always cheerful and smiling and made me feel very welcome. She works really hard and keeps up the pace too!

It is a hotel bar and grill so we went in with lower expectations. My wife and sister (two different people, LOL) both ordered the Teriyaki Salmon and I had the short rib. My meal was EXCELLENT and the two ladies raved over the salmon. My sister claimed it was the best salmon she has ever had and both LOVED the unique flavor. The food seriously could have passed off as four star fair. Totally blown away. The one complaint was that they were out of the garlic potatoes The service was good. It was slow but the waiter was great, personable, and engaged. I scratch my head at why they weren't busy. The next time we are in town, I'll eat there again, even if I don't stay at the hotel it's attached to

We ordered from the "late lunch menu" around 4:00. Very limited, but exactly what we wanted. We had a very nice Ceasar salad, a great hamburger, and a $6 shrimp cocktail that was loaded with shrimp. Nice views, and Tonya, our waitress, was great.

Stop by for drinks, nice and strong for the price. Didn't try any food but everything that went by us looked decent.

Dan, the bartender/waiter/busboy was fantastic. The view amazing! The food was yummy but nothing special. All in all, great experience!

The convenience was my only reason for this restaurant. Breakfast was quick, service was friendly, and expect all the traditional American breakfast favorites.

It was nice. Turkey was dry but still good. Was bummed to see a tip of 18% already added when they gave us the bill.

This place has an awesome view and you can hear the concert at Humphrey's somewhat. We sat outside with a beautiful view by the pool over the bay with all the boats docked. We made reservations and they let us sit outside, we had an awesome server who took our picture too. We just got the nachos and they were okay. The drinks were not great, we decided to pay more and get an old-fashioned instead of just a well drink for happy hour and they were not good, way overpriced for a yucky cocktail, I'd say just go for the cheap happy hour drinks.

A friend was staying there, so it worked out well. We were not sure if we were in the right spot because our google Maps said we were circling it but there was no sign with the restaurants name on it anywhere on the outside of the building. Luckily an employee was on break and he let us know as we were wandering that it was inside the hotel just to the right of us. Name was not visible to any of us until we were in the lobby of the hotel. A restaurant sign displaying the name may help. Our waitress was very nice and took great care of us.

Kind of a hard place to find. It is located in the hotel, directly back from the front desk. Breakfast was good, and you have a view of the marina both inside and outside. I sat near the pool, but there were occupants moving back and forth between the pool and hot tub, and were a little loud and annoying. But that is to be expected at a pool i guess. All in all, food and service were great.

Very nice, had a view of the boats while dining. Food was very good and our servers were attentive and friendly. Will go back again.

Large group for dinner and service was good. Only complaint was they advertise vegan option but don't really have one. We were offered a salad with cheese and salad dressing so clearly not vegan. Clam chowder was good and others complimented their steak and fish options.

The service (Bryan) was phenomenal however the menu is extremely limited and the food mediocre.

The views in this restaurant are fantastic. The harbor with its boats bobbing against the blue sky and the white clouds give a great background to your food. The food, however, I found to be quite average. I tried the food tacos and they weren't bad. And that's the best I can say for them! I heard no one in my group say anything negative about their lunch. But there were no exclamations of joy either. I'd go back only for social reasons.

The food was excellent however served in a less than ambient atmosphere. There was a child using his remote toy around the floor. For the menu prices we expected a nicer dining atmosphere.

Waiter seemed disinterested and took a lomg to get to us. We were there at 5 and the place was not busy, so that was not the issue. Food was good. View was fine. Not sure I would come back.

Service is very good. Coffee is ok. “Maple” syrup is high-fructose corn syrup. Waffle isn’t fresh-made, comes from package, reheated. Likewise bagel is from a package.

Lack luster compared to the restaurants along the same strip. 90s style patio tables & the lack of music made it a rather uninspiring dining experience.

Not too thrilled with the food we ordered. I ordered a veggie wrap with chicken and got no chicken. Also, there was foil in my tomatoes. My husband got the BLT, with avocado, no avocado, and it was bland. However, my son got the bacon mac & cheese. It was tasty but kinda soupy. Service was good, Turbo was very polite.

Breakfast wasn't the greatest. To be honest, the server was nice and was prompt to be at our needs, but I don't really suggest this place for breakfast. Can't say about the dinner, haven't had it. The scrambled eggs weren't done well as they were still runny, lots of cheese and I got charged for additional sides that were suppose to be in my scrambled eggs. The mimosa was not good, the orange juice served to me was room temperature and the champagne use in it was not as cold. My toast wasn't the best, but it wasn't too bad either. Coffee was fair. My friend ordered a steak and eggs, his steak looked decently cooked, even though he ask for a medium rare, it was more like medium well done. The side of fruits that came with it was good. Other than anything else, my stay at the hotel is okay. Great view of the harbor. I just don't recommend breakfast here.

There is something really wrong with some of the food, eg, OJ. 4 of us ate dinner & breakfast during our stay. Food was average to just bad. Views are great.

Disgusting breakfast. Do not recommend!

It took over 45 min to deliver the food. And the food did not come out together. Over a 15 min gap. I had wahoo tacos and clam chowder. Marginal at best. Very disappointing. Staff were friendly but very slow. 15-20 min just to bring drinks. Too bad i was really looking forward to this place but it was a big disappointment.

I am the type that never complains or does these reviews but this experience was bad. My wife and I arrived during happy hour, I ordered a beer and she ordered a virgin pina colada because she is pregnant. The drinks came and her pina colada had the consistency of water and had some unblended ice chunks so she asked if they could blend it more to get rid of the ice chunks. The bartender blended it with the cherries still in it, stems and all, said oh well to the waitress and sent it out. Drink was still water like in consistency, my wife sucked up part of the stem and immediately asked to change to a soda. Salad and bread came and was very good. I have no complaints about this portion of our meal except that our waitress kept disappearing. (we were one of 2 tables in the whole restaurant at this point) The entrees came and both of potatoes were cold, and the waitress never came back to check on us at all until we were finished eating and just sitting there. While we have been here on vacation this has been the worst service we have had. I would understand more if they had been really busy, but a Friday night and only a few tables in the restaurant was disappointing.

La pasamos súper mal eran las fiestas de Año Nuevo y nos trataron pésimo, se tardaron muchísimo en servirnos la comida. Cada platillo era de 300 dólares cada quién y nos sirvieron súper poquito, malo y frío, nada que ver con el precio, el postre era crema batida con una cereza. Súper mal nos trataron, era nuestra primera vez en San Diego y muy mala experiencia.

We waited in line for 10 minutes after 3 servers said they’d be right with us. We were finally seated and waited another 15 minutes to get water. Then no one came and took our order for yet another 20 minutes. Sadly our order was taken before others who were seated before us. My husband is diabetic and couldn’t wait any longer even to get just a Coke as we never had a server. This was supposed to be a night for celebration as our son is graduating from the Marines tomorrow yet it was a night we want to quickly forget.
