One of the BEST!!! My coworker from Orange County told me about this place and I came the next day. Service was inviting and our waitress was a gem. So helpful and really made the experience fun. It's a big restaurant! Lots of seating so bring your entire family to enjoy the food. We started with the garlic wings - these are A MUST. flavorful and cooked to perfection. We got the Combo C with all the sauces mixed together. We ordered white rice & 2 eggs as a side to eat with it. I cut the egg in half and added the sauce on top - droooooool worthy. The sauce was so damn good. I've been thinking about it since. The pricing here is really what is amazing, all this food for a total or $49? I'll come weekly! Worth the drive. Worth the wait. Worth it all!

Best crab boil I have ever had and the service is excellent. Food is very flavorfull. If you are purchasing the crab boil , I suggest getting the flavor “juciy special”. Also recommend the breaded wings . The best experience. I come here a lot now and it’s overall an amazing atmosphere and service. The workers take care of there customers. 10/10 won’t regret it !

Yummy! This visit was my first time ever trying to seafood boil. My daughter-in-law and granddaughter were in town, so we came for dinner. For $35 I got crab and shrimp you came with a couple of potatoes and a corn. I definitely want to come back.

I have been waiting for King Crab to open and I will tell you "Wow" it was so worth the wait. My husband ordered the Combo A (black mussels, shrimp and snow crab) and I ordered the Combo C ( shrimp and snow crab). The combos come with corn on the cob and red potatoes. On the sauces my husband used plain garlic butter and chose non spicy and I used the King's special sauce and chose mild spice. Everything was perfectly cooked and extremely delicious. We started off with hush puppies, I must tell you they were absolutely delicious, man oh man I could eat those all day long. I also had to try the Cajun fries let me say I was not disappointed because they are perfectly spiced and absolutely delicious. Love the staff also they are friendly, caring and fun to talk with. Great service! We are definitely going to be back. Highly recommend everyone to try King Crab on West Point Loma.

Holy cow, this place is amazing. I got 1nof the special combos and added 2 eggs to it. I love how easy they make it so you can eventually have any type of broil and combo you want. I also got the fried oysters and they were cooked to perfection. The appetizer was really like a full meal on its own because it also comes with fries. So I got the sweet potato fries, which were also very good. One last thing I want to mention is you can tell they use fresh seafood because of the flavor and texture in your mouth when eating it. I cant speak on the dine in service, because I got take out. But even with my takeout order the young lady helped explain how to order what I want and some suggestions. So I can only imagine the dine in service is just as good. I will definitely be going back

Everything was as expected and I do recommend this King Crab location.

The place was busy so naturally the wait was a little bit longer than usual. We got sat and served in a timely matter and the food was absolutely delicious! This was our second visit and the food hit just as good as the first time. Will be coming back when in the area again.

COME HERE INSTEAD OF CRAB HUT!!! There’s so many combo options with all different variety you would want for half the price!!!! And you can get crab without having to order a whole crab. Fresh and juicy mussels, clams, crab, and shrimp! Amazing food, great prices, no wait time, and server Jocelyn was attentive and so sweet and positive. Had a great time ❤️🦐🍽️🦀❤️

The seafood tasted fresh with a large size. I liked craw fish, sweet corn, and shrimp the most. Raw oysters were fresh and decent. Cajun fries were fried crispy. The dining room was clean and large with many seats and a nice bar. The service was great. The price could be a little high.

The sauce was minimal and not as flavorful like I get at other crab boil places. The shrimp were some of the worst shrimp I’ve ever had. I left the place still hungry. This was one of the worst dinning experiences I’ve had in a while because of the food. The service was quick and great, but that does not make up for the high prices and mid food.

I don’t remember her name unfortunately but I hope that she sees this post and gets recognized for her good work ! Tips are included in the check so I’m not sure of what size group that starts at. If you’re going to have a group here. It was reasonable, though. It would’ve been really nice to have more of a chicken selection. The atmosphere seemed a little cold from what I’m used to, but for the most part, it was a good time.

Service was just okay. We were a party of six and ordered three combos ($100+ each), but only received three crab cracker tools. When we asked for more, they only brought one extra. We also had to request seafood splitter/ scissors separately, and they gave us just one pair for the whole table who was all eating crab. Staff wasn't too friendly and only checked on us once after bringing food.

Visiting from out of town and ordered from here last night. I order the crab cakes, chicken fingers, and hush puppies. Absolutely disgusting. The worst food I’ve ever tasted or seen in yearsss!!! I mean complete yuck 🤢🤢 I have no clue how they have all of these positive reviews. Thankfully Uber Eats refunded me!

Hi, I’m a bit confused about the closing policy. Your hours say you close at 9:45, but when I arrived around 9:00–9:05 to dine in alone, I was told it was takeout only and couldn’t stay. I would have been in and out within about 20 minutes. I come here regularly — about three times a week — and this is the first time I’ve been turned away from dining in, so it was pretty disappointing. If dine-in hours are different from your posted closing time, it would really help customers if that was clearly listed online to avoid confusion. I appreciate the spot and hope this feedback helps improve the experience moving forward.
