We were brought here by locals and now I understand why! This place is great. We came here for brunch and loved it. You wait in line to order and find available seating. They have outdoor and indoor seating, but overall it's not a huge place. People usually are coming and going fairly quickly though. We tried the Cinnamon Roll French Toast and the Breakfast Quesadilla. Both were so delicious! Would get them again no doubt! They also have a great coffee menu, too. Really enjoyed the vibe here! It's only 1 block off of Mission Beach which is perfect for a post-brunch walk or beach day. Definitely add Olive Cafe to your list!

Came on Memorial Day, and it was packed. Order at the registers, then find a seat. Plenty of seating, even after waiting 20 min to order, I found a table right away. Ordered the machata burrito and a latte. The latte was tasty, but you can tell it was made in a rush. The burrito was delicious, beef and eggs were cooked and seasoned well. Hot sauce and pico de gallo on top of the burrito gave it a nice touch. Plenty of servers walking around making sure everyone is taken care of (needing a to-go box, a table cleaned, extra napkins, etc.) Not a cheap place to dine, but definitely an enjoyable breakfast.

Delicious breakfast burritos, coffee could be stronger, but after put some shot off espresso was very good.👍🏼 Perfect Monday morning 😊 nice place!

Lovely place with great food! We had pancakes, french toast, scrambled eggs, white chocolate milk and a coffee. Reasonable pricing and kids menues available. Parking opportunity in short walking distance.

The best spot to get the best cinnamon bun French toast yum it had banana,strawberry so good we also ordered eggs bacon 🥓croissant it was delicious 🤤 and a smoked chilaquiles that taste so authentic yum it was eggs scrabbles avocado slices with trial smoothed in a red spicy oicante delicious sauce with chicken cut and spiced well!

I absolutely adore this little gem. This is my son and I's special spot when we travel to Mission Beach for Spring Break. I love the euro/cafe vibe and the friendly staff. It's all open air tons of outdoor seating and so lovely. The menu has a little bit of everything but this time I enjoyed the yogurt bowl (yum! fresh fruit!) and cars had the Basic Beach with scrambled eggs, pancakes and bacon! He loved all of it and cleaned his whole plate. They have a great assortment of coffees, juices, and many other beverages. We will keep coming back, and back, and back! Thank you for such a lovely brunch!

Had an excellent breakfast date with my wife at this cute little cafe! We stayed at a nearby arbnb and our neighbors recommended this to us, I’m thankful they did!! I ordered the chorizo egg scramble plate with hash browns and my wife ordered the cinnamon roll French toast and we shared. Both were amazing!! They really went very well together to get the full sweet and savory meal!! We arrived about 8am and they was no wait or line, by the time we left a little after nine the line was 10 people long and tables were full on a Thursday morning. I do recommend being the early bird to avoid the rush. Also loved the decor, they had some funny stuff!

A friend of ours recommended this place for breakfast. He said the place serves good breakfast. It didn’t disappoint me. I love their coffee, toast, eggs and hash brown which is crispy with a hint of garlic flavor. The restaurant has their own bakery separate from the cafe where they serve the best cinnamon rolls. Service is pretty good in this cozy place. There’s fireplace inside the cafe to warm the cold days. A good place to go to after strolling in the morning along mission bay or pacific beach.

Located in Mission Beach, San Diego, CA on Santa Clara Place, this restaurant provided a nice brunch spot for our family. We had a party of 7 and there was a table large enough for us. Some of the things we orderedwere the Breakfast Quesadilla, Breakfast Burrito, and pancakes w/ bacon. Most of the seating is outside on the deck. Tables have umbrellas for shade. Parking is hard to find.

Cute cafe with indoor / outdoor seating. Vegan breakfast burrito made fresh was very tasty and filling. Their bakery across the street also has a vegan pumpkin muffin that is one of the best I’ve ever had. Don’t sleep on Olive. 🫒

Stopped here for brunch and got a chicken sandwich on a brioche bun, it was enjoyable but could have used a little more flavour… I used the salsa from the chips. It did have a very nice atmosphere and everyone was friendly. I would recommend that the chairs be checked as we sat on two broken ones and had to swap them out with others from other tables.

The restaurant was busy when we were there for lunch on a weekday. It's at a good location but parking can be a challenge. We went kayaking at Mission Bay sportscenter and walked over for lunch after working up an appetite. We lined up to order and the line was pretty slow going. They have a big menu with lots of items that sounded delicious. My meal was a little greasy. The bread was good though.
