Been to Rosina’s a couple of times now and never been disappointed. Staff have always made us feel welcome and wanting to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable experiences. Cocktails and wine selections are good and the food is very enjoyable. Worth stopping by if in the area
I came here for dinner with my husband and everything was amazing. The house bread with the sauce was so good. I’m not sure what they put in the sauce but it’s delicious! We ordered the special grill peach and burrata cheese appetizer and it was really refreshing. We also ordered chicken Parmesan with angel hair pasta and that was tasty. I would highly recommend this place!
Had a great time here for dinner on Thursday night. The waiter who served us was excellent and attentive. All of the food came out quickly , hot , and absolutely delicious!
We just had our San Diego Chrono club meet up here last night. We were able to try all different menu items. Everyone really loved the lasagna. The owners and staff treated us really well. I posted some pictures of our event and some steaming, hot lasagna shots.
The food here was really great. and the staff was friendly. I also liked the atmosphere of the restaurant. I would like to go back again.
Loved the Italian cuisine at Rosina’s! Calm and peaceful restaurant settled in a suburban neighborhood. The cocktails were delicious, we had the sour cherry spritz and cinnamon maple whiskey sour. We started with the pollette e polenta, and for entrees had the pistachio cod special and fettuccine mare e monte with scallops, shrimp, and squid. We sat on the dog friendly patio. The service was great, friendly and accommodating. Recommend!
Rozina Restaurant is such a gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warmth and a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The food is absolutely delicious—every dish feels like it’s made with so much care. The kabobs are perfectly cooked, the saffron rice is fluffy and fragrant, and the appetizers like the hummus and mast-o-khiar are so flavorful. What really made the experience even more special was Mahta, one of the waiters. She was so kind, attentive, and made sure everything was just perfect. Her warm personality really added to the experience and made us feel so taken care of. Whether you’re celebrating something special or just craving amazing food, Rozina Restaurant is a must-visit. Can’t wait to go back!
Rosina has been close to our neighborhood for years. It is one of the best Italian restaurants among the many we tried. Thats not to say just because its close. The food is flavorful and ingredients super fresh. We always have a good time when we catch up there. At our last visit we tried - the Gnocchi, the eggplant parmigiana, Penne Puttanesca and the Salmon. Everything was delish and the salmon cooked delicate. Charles was our server, he was great as he served everything amicably.
Parking: Small lot in front of restaurant and to the side. Lots of street side parking as there isn't much in this residential area aside from Rosina's with a nice green space on the other side of the street from patio. Ambience: Quiet residential neighborhood. Lots of patio seating, which was a draw during pandemic. Service: attentive, glass never close to empty, and not intrusive. Food: Amazing (see pics), with leftovers that reheated well.

Thus placed intrigued me, they say everything made from scratch. So I decided to give it a go. I had what I believe they called Rosetta. A pasta specialty from Modena, thin Pasta Sheets layered with creamy béchamel, proscuitto cotto, and Gruyere cheese. It was fantastic, I highly recommend this place. the service was exceptional. Nice warm italian bread with marinara sauce to start. I will be returning for sure!

We are regulars here and love the authentic Italian menu and specials. Sunday we enjoyed a new dessert called the Ultimate Ghirardelli warm Brownie with ice cream and Carmel drizzle. So rich and with four kinds of Ghirardelli chocolate chips, we were in heaven period and paired with a nice Cabernet it was the ultimate we were in heaven period and paired with a nice Cabernet it was the ultimate. I highly recommend. Be sure to sample their fresh bread and Olive Oil with sun-dried tomato tapenade or their new ricotta-stuffed squash blossoms as a starter. Finally, we heard that Rosina's is expanding into one of the business spaces across the open patio and this will open up more reservation availability!
George our waiter, was fantastic. Informed, cheerful, made great recommendations and he was attentive. The patio was lovely. Food specials were superb.
The food here is amazing, but you pay for that quality so it's on the pricey side. We we're a party of 5 & everyone loved their dish. The dining room is a bit noisy, but not so loud you can't converse with your party. The only reason I gave service 4 stars & not 5 is because we had to wait what we felt was a fair amount of time to be acknowledged. After that we had to wait additional time for drinks & bread while we saw her bringing those same things to tables that arrived after us. We will definitely return.
Had our rehearsal dinner at Rosina’s and it was an absolutely lovely experience. Staff were so helpful in planning and set up, the food was incredible, and the atmosphere is just perfect. 10/10 one of our new favorite spots.
The food was delicious. The lasagna was hands down one of the best lasagnas I have ever had. The special which was a cod fish was very impressive. The staff was friendly, the owner came out to our table and you felt her passion as she spoke to us.

Tried this place for the first time with my wife and some friends. It was a busy Sunday night and we got there at six just before it started getting very busy. The menu has a lot of interesting if traditional takes on upscale Italian foods. We are pescatarians mostly so leaned that way on our choices. Our friends swear by the stuffed eggplant that contains sausage and other meats. I very much enjoyed the salmon that was cooked perfectly with a nice carrot puree on a very decent risotto. My wife loved the manicotti and noted the lovely stuffed crepes. We also got a port soaked pear salad that we shared that was tasty but not spectacular. The service was very friendly but quite slow and we had to walk up to the front to pay after waiting a long time to get a check after we were long finished. Passed on a dessert as that would have added another chunk of time. Still giving them four stars for service because I sympathize with staff shortages.
This place was a delight. The restaurant is nestled in a quiet neighborhood. I ordered the swordfish, and the chicken picata was delicious. The peaches and mozzarella cheese appetizer is a must. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and the prices are so reasonable. I recommend this Italian restaurant to all!
We were a group of 5 and visited the restaurant for dinner. I had made patio reservations. The ambiance was good, and our server was pleasant. In terms of food, most of the items we ordered were good. The lasagna was the favorite, followed by the Manicotti. A friend ordered the fettuccine mare and wasn't pleased with the dish. The tiramisu and the affogato were both okay. We have had better. Our server, though, was on top of everything and made it a pleasant experience.

Hmm I'm torn with this restaurant bc I want to give it a 5 star rating but just can't. We went for my mom's bday. Host was not warm and on the way out made a snarky comment to me and my parents as we left. I worked and managed in restaurants so unfortunately for him, under his breath was still quite audible to me. Not very professional. To basically undo the weird host demeanor, it was a great touch that what we assume to be the owner was the first to touch our table AND recited the specials. That both helps the server and sets an 'I care' tone from a customer perspective. Major ups. Our server was seated many tables at once, but we were the second of her tables. Her timing was decent but she was obviously given too many tables to give us much attention. Bread was pretty nice, wasn't a huge fan of the oil dipping sauce situation. My parents had two salads to start which were amazing. Super fresh and not overdressed, also not the dreaded greens > toppings ratio there was enough of the good stuff on top on every forkful. 10/10 for the Caesar and Pear Salads. I had the Lasagna. It was a solid 9. Amazing portion HUGE, and served hot. I didn't notice much ricotta but the meat quality made up for the lack of pillowy soft ricotta. Pasta was perfectly cooked and the layers were just divine. I personally like a little more cheese or creamy element like a bechamel addition to both elevate and balance the richness of the layers. It tasted a little more oily than I like. My mom LOVED her manicotti 10/10 from her. My dad LOVED his Linguine Vongole, and wine. We will be back for sure and maybe have a less busy night so we can have a little better service experience but overall loved Rosina's.
The food is delicious but super oily! You feel full after eating a small portion. Making a tasty food by adding too much oil or cheese is a trick. As I saw in the restaurant, most of customers are middle age and above. This group cares about their health. So, you will lose your customers. Inside the restaurant is beautiful with a warm atmosphere, but a bit too packed. Servers seem to have less freedom in their movement and problem in accessing all sides of tables.

Rosina's seems to be a favorite for the neighborhood its in. Food was just ok. Drinks and wine selections were very good. Seems to gather an older crowd. I am not certain we will be back. Worth a try.
