Berlin Döner & Kebab House

WOW ordered the breakfast for two and every item was incredible, the sausage and eggs and clotted cream especially! The staff was very friendly and answered questions about what everything was, the interior is simple but homey. Loved everything and felt great after, light, flavorful but also filling.

This place was delicious! I got the Shish Kebeb plate and the beef was so tender and juicy, it melts in your mouth. The sauces added even more flavor. Everything was so fresh and the Turkish Tea was very tasteful and soothing. The service was also excellent. They answered all of our questions and gave us really good recommendations and information about their menu. Would definitely come back again.

I wanted to try this place for a while. Given I was by myself I decided to try the Berlin Combo as a way to sample all appetizers Everything was very solid and it was a generous plate. Will have to come back and try the meat options

After the pathetic food experience at the Halal Guys restaurant, tried Berlin Doner & Kebab next day, located at the Sutter and Leavenworth St. ordered their Iskender doner plate. Enormous portion and freshly cooked with the sauce and yogurt on the side. Worth the price

Dropped by for the first time. Had the beef and lamb döner wrap. It came with two sauces. Delish! Service was quick and friendly. I recommend for a quick lunch.

I live and work in the neighborhood and this place make you the food is incredible, the people are always awesome and very welcoming. They have a great little market of food and products from turkey.

I've been a few times and really like the lamb&beef plate. If I'm still hungry I also treat myself to the baklava which is one of the best I've had!

I’ve had a lot of döner in different places, and in my opinion, no döner in SF beats Berlin Döner. This is easily the best döner I’ve had in the Bay Area so far. The balance between the meat, rice, and salad was perfect, and everything tasted fresh. If you’re craving real, properly prepared döner, this place is a must-try. I’ll definitely be coming back

If you are looking for authentic, true Turkish food, then this is the spot! On the corner of Sutter, this is a really great spot to come to and not only relax, but have a great meal. Came here at about 10 or 11 AM and we were one of the only people dining in for breakfast. Menu is straightforward with a good variety. We were able to just go to the register and order and the wait time for our food was not very long. Everything was well cooked and there Was so much flavor. We didn't have to add much salt or pepper. my meat lovers plate was very delicious. It was nice to have a meal I knew I would like and be able to sample off of the other two meals we ordered. We pretty much cleaned our plates. That's how good the food was! The really nice and the service is very fast so please give it a try if you're in the neighborhood

Got an order a fries and they have some type of seasoning on top that was absolutely fantastic. I really do think they should add a couple more ounces of meat and veggie. Every doner I ever got when I was in Turkey was stuffed and fat.

This spot has so much to offer, with a bunch of Turkish and Mediterranean breakfast options like menemen, cilbir, and gozleme, plus the basics like pancakes, omelettes, eggs over toast etc. I’d recommend getting the breakfast for 1 to get an intro to the food if you’re unfamiliar, the beef sausage (sujuk) was spectacular! The staff were all very nice and committed to making the food authentically. Everything is fairly priced, portions are fair, and restaurant is clean. I can’t wait to come back and try the gyro wraps and kofte as they got those options for lunch / dinner too. Keep up the great work!

Visiting from Portland, OR and decided to give this place a try since it was near the hotel. I got the Lamb and Beef Döner and it completely hit the spot. It's not huge but feels like the perfect size to satisfy, and feels appropriate for the price. The flavors were great, the meat was seasoned well and halfway through my meal they brought a bowl of pickled peppers which were a perfect addition to the wrap. I highly recommend this place, it did not disappoint.

Just had the lamb and beef Donner plate fabulous,,friend had the chicken donner plate also fabulous love the bread salad seasoning was perfect. Staff is awesome.

Nothing to say other then this is a great place to eat. Free water is front and center, there is a bathroom, great prices and even greater food. The staff are extremely nice and although the location is a bit wonky (uphill battle.) If you're not sure if this is good, please just trust me and eat here.

I honestly think food is amazing here! Portions are fair and is being served in a good temperature. Staff is friendly, what it looks to be a family business ends up being a warm atmosphere for travelers. I think they had an issue and I couldn’t taste the Turkish coffee but would definitely come back if I have a chance. I ordered an appetizer, main course and dessert and paid 47 but trust me it was worth it.

The restaurant is in a good location with street view. The staff is kind. The food is good and much. You shouldn't buy much because its fed up.

The beef was very tasty — we really enjoyed it. However, the restaurant itself felt a bit messy and not very clean. For the salad, they took out a package of lettuce from the fridge — the kind sold in packs of six at Costco — and chopped it up without washing it. As far as I know, those usually come unwashed. It would be great if they paid a bit more attention to cleanliness and food prep.

Honestly, as a turkish person, I m disappointed by the taste, quality of the ingredients ( everything from the bread they serve to the meat ( horrible doner made out of ground beef) and veggies), nothing to do with doner from Turkey or Germany 🤦‍♂️ and expensive for nothing
