I stopped here for dinner one night after a conference and was really impressed. The atmosphere has a modern barbecue vibe with bold décor and open flames visible from the counter, which made it feel authentic and fresh. Ordering was simple with their digital menu boards, and the staff was friendly and efficient. The food was great. I had a burger and fries, which were hot, flavorful, and satisfying. The fries were crispy and not greasy, and the burger was juicy with a soft bun. The salad with salmon and avocado was fresh and well-portioned, with plenty of toppings like blue cheese and crispy onions. The tri-tip platter was tender and smoky with just the right char, paired nicely with the onion straws. They also had churros on the menu, which looked tempting for dessert. Prices were fair for the quality and portions, especially considering the location. Overall, Buckhorn Grill delivered on taste, freshness, and atmosphere. It was a perfect casual spot to unwind after a long day, and I’d definitely come back when I’m in the area.

Place - It is in Metreon. This spot is near washroom. There are 3-4 tables in there and a lot of tables in Metreon. Taste - I ordered one salad and meat. A mount of salad was huge. There were a lot of fresh ingredents. I thought the bowl is crispy but it was not. To me, taste of bowl was not good. Salad was great! The meat was not many. The taste was good but little bit fatty to me. Thin fried onion was good with meat! It was good to eat with salad. Service and Price - Service was nothing special and price is reasonable.

Would be a five but the Cesar salad just wasn't flavorful like it should be.

I only come here for the Cabo chop salad

The Tri Tip was relatively good and decent portion. The onion underneath was served cold.

Overall good value and good food. I had the Tri-Tip Platter. The meat was very tasty, top notch. The red potatoe mash was obviously freshly made not premade and stored. The grilled vegetables were fantastic, perhaps a tad overcooked but still very good and not just the usual carrot-zuchini mix. Overall very good food for a good price. Two things would make it better. I don't like plastic ware but can accept that as part of keeping prices low. A bit more generous portion of the grilled veggies would have made this a 5 star lunch.

A solid burger! You'll get big portions, fast service, and a good price. Super Duper Burger is next door, but this is a comparable burger IMO.

Tri tip is tasty but I got such an obviously poor cut I was surprised anyone would serve it. The pulled pork was good. The granny apple slaw was delicious. Glad I tried Buckhorn but I won't be back.

Fast food including salads, beef, etc. order and take out or dine in at various tables in a large shared area. Food was fairly good, service helpful. Priced reasonably.

Used to be a lot better. The meat now is fatty and sinewy. Not a great experience. The flavor is the only reason I keep trying, but I think I'm done with this place.

Average food at average price, for a food center anyway. Burgers are nothing special, better than fast food but not as good as a real burger joint. Their sandwiches with their pulled pork have flavor, and the sauces they have are a good range with good flavor. However it's nothing to go specifically to or out of your way for. Convenience only, as there are much better choices out there.

We have eaten here many times, and tonight was the first disappointing experience have had. Ordered the Tri tip sandwich (togo). The meat was so overcooked it was like eating beef jerkey. Not the medium rare we have come to love. Hope next time is better

The picture of the steak deceived me the picture show a delicious looking chunky piece of steak and then it jus a slice of meat and they charged alot for a very "Dry" Sandwich!🤥😒not very tasteful steak sandwich! I dont know about anything else on menu. It's not a fast food place they do cook up all the meat but still I will not suggest the steak S.sorry, but I have to be honest with the people.I hope the owner take down that picture!

The tators and gravy tasted like left overs and lacked seasoning, the one in Vacaville tastes amazing. The fries were stale and the meat was ok, the only good part about my order. I rarely leave bad reviews but this was a disappointing meal. I hope they reach the quality of their counterpart.

BEWARE when ordering from uber eats or to go. Requested "rare as possible" and received super well done. Also no Au Jus. Waste of $50 bucks.

Got kicked out of the food court as soon as we got our food, had to go sit out in the cold to eat. If the dine in area closes you should stop taking dine-in orders earlier, if we’d known we’d have to eat outside we would have gone elsewhere.

They where out of some menu items on the lunch board at 3pm. So I went with the garden and fruit salad and added chicken, the "chicken breast" was thin and not firm, the texture was a bit artificial. The salad was good and the dressing was delicious just the "chicken breast" was not what I expected.

I asked for a menu with nutritional information, but was told that they did not have one. I checked the website it was not available there either. I ordered a Caesar salad with Tri-Tip, and estimated the nutritional information. The meat was shaved and had little texture or flavor. The salad was over dressed. Later that day, I called the corporate office and left a voicemail message but the call has not been returned in the last two weeks. In San Francisco, employers are required to contribute to Healthy SF, a form of localized health care if the employer does not provide health insurance. Rather than increasing their prices, Buckhorn passes this expense as a service fee. This is a deceptive practice to keep their food prices lower. This practice would be okay, if they stopped charging the service fee once they collected enough money to cover the cost of the program for that month. I have to assume that any excess goes into their pocket rather than as a donation to the program. It is quite possible that as a franchise, this helps reduce their royalties to Buckhorn's corporation treating a legitimate company expense more like a tax than the cost of doing business. Regardless, it is deceptive to the customer even if they have a small sign noting the service fee, and reflects that they probably do not provide health insurance for their employees.

Been here multiple times over the years and the cooks are becoming more lazy and they talk about the customers in spanish as if nobody understands. Requested a burger with literally cheese and meat only and they forgot the cheese the only thing i wanted in tge burger. This has happened on 3 seperate occasions

The smoke flavor was too strong for my liking. Meat was also chewy and cold.

I ordered my food as usual, I ordered the Cesar pleaser and I added a couple extra ounces of beef. I asked for medium rare cuts. After I paid, I noticed the cashier trying really hard to see the tip screen. I did not too. I believe you earn a tip from the service I give. I sat down and waited. Soon after I noticed the staff passing around a receipt which had to be mine because I was the only order. My order did not seem complicated to me. Anyhow, buzzer rang and the lady served mg plate across the counter with the dirtiest look on her face. She continued to scowl at me as I inspected my super well done cuts (I ordered medium rare) and my Cesar had no cheese or croutons in it. I didn't complain, I just ate my food as she continued to smirk and scowl while I ate it. That was the worst buckhorn experience I ever had. I will never visit that particular buckhorn. Furthermore, people should not be expected to tip before being served, it defeats the purpose of good service

Impossible burger was cold, like a cold sandwich. Asked the person behind the counter to heat it up. He had to explain to someone else for a few minutes before putting it in the oven. The experience was not satisfying.
