Casey's Pizza is known for its delicious thin-crust pizza with fresh toppings and a crispy, charred crust. The Popeye and Funghi pizzas are highly recommended. Some customers find the Caesar salad overpriced and inconsistent.

To the point: The pizza is consistently delicious, and if you have visitors or friends this is the place to bring them! Perspective: I have eaten pizza in just about every major city in America, most recently returning from a trip to New Haven Dave Portnoy's "Pizza capital", and I personal would place Casey's pizza at or above that caliber of pizza. Recommendation: Stop by Casey's enjoy a fresh pie, relax and settle into the evening. Then take a stroll along the walking path that leads to the view of the stadium. Bring a Jacket!
My wife and I often walk our dog past Casey’s Pizza, but we had never stopped in because it always seemed busy. We finally decided to give it a try last night, and I can honestly say we had been missing out. The pizza was absolutely outstanding—fresh, perfectly crisp, and made with dough that has incredible flavor. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, whose customer service was exceptional. Since it was our first visit, we asked for his recommendation, and he suggested the East Coast Pie. We’re so glad we took his advice, because it was fantastic. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend Casey’s Pizza to anyone looking for high-quality pizza and welcoming service.
We had a fantastic dinner at Casey Pizzeria! The baby salad $17 was fresh and delicious, and the thin-crust pizza $32 was super good—crispy and flavorful without being too heavy. We paired our meal with two amazing IPAs $9 each from Fieldwork Brewing, which just made the night even better. The place is also baby-friendly! We brought our stroller inside without any issues, making the experience stress-free for our family. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great pizza, drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere.
Best pizza in the area, by a mile! Staff is great, super friendly. Its a true local spot where we always run into neighbors
The pizza is spectacular and has a great portion size. The sauce, the cheese and the crust from the wood fired oven are all perfect.
Casey’s pizza is the best in the neighborhood. They also always have a nice selection of draft beers and wine.
Casey’s Pizza is a must-visit for any pizza lover in San Francisco! Their spicy pizza packs the perfect kick—bold flavors, just the right amount of heat, and incredibly fresh ingredients. The crust? Absolutely delicious—crispy on the outside, soft and chewy inside, with that perfect golden-brown char. Whether you’re grabbing a slice or a whole pie, you won’t be disappointed. Definitely one of the best spots in the city for a flavorful, satisfying pizza fix!
April 2023: Want to update my review. Pizzas are still great 👍. First time dining inside in a while. But I wanted to rave about the salads. Ordered the Caesar salad and the mixed greens salad. Both were really good 👍. Keep up the great work on serving delicious pizza, salads and beer 🍻🍻! February 2019: Tried the Bianca and it was very good. Not spicy nor salty, get this one when you want a clean tasting 🍕. 🍺 selection was fantastic. Tried an Alvarado pale ale that was juicy! 👍 And a Faction Winter IPA. January 2019: Tried the East Coast 🍕 and it was delicious! 😀 Also came here for my brother's birthday and had a great time. My little 8 year old nieces loved the 🍕. They each ate 4 slices! September 2018: Enjoyed a great dinner on Saturday night. Salad was very nicely done. Ingredients tasted fresh and was perfectly dressed. Funghi 🍕 was a winner. Crust was light and good amount of ingredients on each piece. 🍺 selection has both delicious craft 🍺 on tap and in cans. If you are craving local craft beer, this is a good place to stop.
The best tomato pies in the area. Thin crust and a well balanced array of ingredients. Their Fennel Sausage pie is delicious. Margherita, same taste but without sausage.

The funghi pizza was amazing! Great mushroom flavor and perfect thin dough. The baby salad was very fresh and refreshing, perfect side for the za.
Casey’s Pizza is delicious! We tried the burrata and a split Popeye’s and Fungyi pizza. Both were tasty and had a unique flair. I definitely recommend coming by and trying the pizza here if you are in the neighborhood. It’s close to AT&T park if you’re in the area for a Giants game!
DC, comfort yet healthy food. Not overwhelming like other chains and establishments. The food is delicious and fresh. Whether you get a slice or a pie, try Casey’s want me disappointment.
Casey's has the best thin crust pizza 🍕 in the bay! The crispy charred crust is what makes this the best. But the toppings are also fresh and tasty. I appreciate Casey's for not trying to be overly complicated or trying to be super trendy, they stick with what works and it never disappoints.
We’ve been going to Casey’s for several years, and we’re both serious pizza snobs. I can say unequivocally that Casey’s is our absolute favorite pizza in San Francisco and beyond. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and filled with a genuine sense of community and goodness. And the pizza? Simply outstanding. The crust is perfection, the sauce is unreal, and whatever magic Casey puts into it makes it hands-down the best we’ve ever had. Casey’s is a true San Francisco gem.
Casey's is a great spot to grab a pie or just a slice or two. Beer selection is stellar, not vast, but some really good craft options that I'm not used to finding at such a small place. You can't go wrong with the pizza, red or white its all good. The fresh herbs really take it up a notch.
Best east coast style pizza on the west coast. Our favorites are the Bianca, hot pie & caesar salad but honestly you can't go wrong here. They use high quality ingredients and put real care into every order.
This has been our local pizza shop for years. The owner and employees are always super friendly, and the pies are delicious. We especially like the ones that have hot honey.
Pizza has that nostalgic pizza place taste and it’s also premium (they use organic dough) which is awesome. Great beer and wine selection - regularly have Russian River beers on draft. Def the best pizza place in the mission bay/rock as of Dec 2025.
Casey’s is a neighborhood favorite. Their pies are always hot, delicious, and hit the spot every time! I love the addition of the burrata to their menu and it goes so nicely with any pizza on the menu! If you want pizza go to Casey’s!!
Absolutely obsessed with this place. Top 5 favorite flavors of 2025! Popeye pizza is to die for. The Cesar salad feels criminally overpriced, but that’s just me.
Casey's is everything I want out of my local pizza shop. Atmosphere: Casey is behind the counter every day with a friendly team and happy to chat with you. The place is super casual and its great to see a mix of families, couples and people getting slices after work at the bar. They have weekly wine specials and a few fun spritzes as well! Pizza: Thin, crispy, flavorful crust. I had been searching for this in a Bay Area pizza for years and was so happy to have found the ideal east coast style crust at Casey's! The variety of pizza styles on the menu are use local ingredients in familiar, yet creative, ways. I love them all but definitely get the East Coast Pie and Hot Pie most frequently. Salads: Don't sleep on the salads to as a side to the pizza! I've had them all and everything is super fresh. My favorite is the Baby Lettuce. The fresh grapes, crunch of almond and shallot vinaigrette are a nice addition to the farm fresh greens.

it's pretty good but also pretty expensive. pizzas are crunchy and soft at the same time with the freshest ingredients. you can fold it in half without feeling that it will spill over. ceasarsallad was kinda thin for 17 bucks don't get it unless youre desperate for one. setting is a bit stale, the way that mission bay is.. appreciate the friendly service.

May fav pizza place in the Bay Area I love this place number one for me I always drive more than one hour to get to my fav place. I wish u guys add black olives on the menu
Visiting from Oregon decided to Uber eats some food and what’s better then pizza!! It arrived within 25 minutes. The pizza looked delicious and it also taste it. The sauce is a bit sweet for my taste, the cheese was good but not enough! More cheese ! The pepperoni was good different then what I’m used too but nonetheless good. The crust was crunchy and toasted to perfection. Overall very happy with my pizza. Expensive but I’ve come to the realization that SF is expensive!
Worth the wait. I'd just heard of Casey's the night before. Reading about their old world style, thin crust Neapolitan pizzas piqued my interest (& the ice cream sundae piqued my partner's). We arrived before the dinner rush, maybe the third party to arrive. We ordered 2 pizzas -- the Margherita and Fennel Sausage -- and a glass of Pinot Noir. As mentioned in other posts, it took quite a while to get our order. But the time goes fast when you're having a glass of wine and catching up with friends. We devoured the pizzas upon their arrival. The Margherita was an amazing classic, and the Fennel Sausage was inspired. And smart glass of pinot noir from Sonoma Coast was the perfect complement. A regret is that we didn't save room for an ice cream sundae... one of many reasons to return soon!
1. Staff is very friendly and nice 2. Dining area is clean too 3. Food is not worth that much price. All pizzas comes only in 1 size and a simple medium margarita (no additional toppings) was $30+. So food/price is not worth it. If they indeed reduce the prices by 30% then would recommend for sure.
We have been coming here for years and it’s just gone down the toilet. For the second time in 6 months, I have called in an order and when I went to pick it up, was told it was never made. A “printer problem.” So then after being told it would just be 6 minutes, I waited more than 15. Such a hot mess. And they wonder why they’re losing business to the other pizza places in the neighborhood.
a couple of years ago I've lived next door to Casey's and it was by far my favorite pizza place .. so much so that I went back there at earliest convenience, and oh boy was I disappointed. not only is the pizza not as good but it's actually pretty bad. it's both basic AND expensive. do yourself a favor and skip.
So disappointed in my experience here. This *seems like a nice place (?). I patronized this restaurant for the first time with my sibling while visiting for the holidays (though I’ll be moving back soon). Yesterday evening, my brother ordered a pizza, and I ordered a salad — separate checks. I was surprised to be prompted for a tip on the payment machine for a takeout order. When I asked the cashier whether my brother had tipped, who had just checked out before me, the cashier looked at me straight to my face and said yes, he did tip. That turned out to be untrue — my brother informed me that he had not tipped on his takeout order. He also felt terrible because he had recommended the place to me. Based on that information, I felt socially pressured to tip as well. I left a few dollars in cash only, which I handed straight to the cashier. I did not tip on my credit card. What’s most troubling — and honestly sad — is the lack of integrity over a few dollars. That kind of dishonesty is unnecessary and leaves a really bad impression. I paid $18+ for a very basic salad, and the entire experience felt unethical and incredibly disappointing. We went to Gott’s afterwards for some other food, and saw generous, beautiful salads for less than what I paid here. I was so upset and frustrated I ended up throwing the rest of the Casey’s, paltry salad away — money down the drain. Not cool at all. Definitely not the kind of experience that makes someone want to return. Happy holidays, I guess.
Pizza is great. But the Caesar salad isn’t a Caesar salad and therefore not worth the EIGHTEEN DOLLARS I spent on it. It’s a few pieces of little gems with grated cheese and a container of plain oil. I’d like a refund! Response to owner: I’m happy that others love it. For us, the “dressing” was a tiny container of oil, not dressing. As per google, “A classic Caesar salad typically features romaine lettuce, croutons, Parmesan cheese, and a dressing made with olive oil, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and anchovies (or anchovy paste).” We can’t come back. We’re home with our 7 year old!
