Best, best, best sandwiches, selection, and service ever. I hope to try every version, and will give it the old college try, but there is just no end to the options available. Meat-eaters, vegetarians, vegans in the group struggling to find a place where everyone can eat? This is it. And it's all fantastic! Also, shame on the person who gave them 1 star because there was an influx of over a thousand people on the block to watch rock climbing races that afternoon. It's unnecessary to be like that.

My first time at Ike‘s sandwiches and I will definitely be going back. I am overjoyed at the quality and quantity of vegetarian choices. I had turkey and cranberry on sourdough and it was absolutely delicious.

Can you find better sandwiches than Ike's anywhere on the planet? No, no you cannot. Not even joking. I've been eating at Ike's since before the world was supposed to end back in Twenty-12. All up and down The Bay. Not one single time have I ever been disappointed. The sandwich magic levels are higher here than you can find anywhere...

New Location just opened up in the mission bay/mission rock area. Has been a while since I’ve been to Ike’s and the menu looked like they had a few new options that didn’t remember being on there(burger and a lobster salad sandwich). I had to go for the lobster salad and I was not disappointed. This lobster salad sandwhich is one of my new favorites. Pull up to Ike’s get ya sandwich fix!

This Ike’s does not put enough sauce on their sandwiches. I usually order delivery, and pay for extra sauce, and they still arrive way too dry. Ike’s used to be about loading the sandwiches with sauce, but this one doesn’t put enough.

Gluten free bread was tasty but I was disappointed because it was so much smaller (and $3 extra). So not the classic massive sandwich I’d been hoping for. Bacon was really good though

Staff completely overwhelmed with what looks like very average traffic, less than 10 people in the store. Both doors are open and smoke is billowing out, an alarm (I assume it’s a smoke alarm) is beeping incessantly. I’ve been waiting almost 20 minutes to place an order. The cashier starts coughing. I leave without placing an order.

Possibly one of the worst sandwiches I had. There was like one or two thin slices of pastrami (pic attached) in a pastrami sandwich… Unbelievable… Over the years, I saw Ike’s go downhill on quality. This is not the sandwich that put them on the map in the place. I will never go back to Ike’s again.

Understaffed and simply drowning in business. They were prepping orders in no apparent order with some waiting a few minutes and others waiting 30-45 minutes. My one sandwich took 40 minutes only after I asked for the manager to look if they lost my ticket. The food is good but messy. Quality seems to be going south quickly based on my recent visits. Three strikes you’re out. I’m done with this place. This isn’t the first time I had a miserable experience.
