Victory Hall & Parlor is loved for its great atmosphere, top-tier drinks, and delicious Southern comfort food from Little Skillet. The fried chicken, especially, is a hit. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Some find the cornbread disappointing.

Great atmosphere, cocktails, beer selection, and good southern comfort foods! You can't go wrong with fried or blackened chicken- both are flavorful and juicy! You can pick either if you're getting one of their salads which are both very good. The mini corn muffins are also always a favorite to get here with the honey butter. 😋 Very cool space with great staff. They also have some free boardgames on a shelf by the entrance. We've also been here for a trivia night once which was fun
They've done such an amazing job with the space! I remember when it used to be the old 330 Ritch spot. It's more classy/beautifully decorated but still has the hometown feel. I stopped by for drinks and appetizers - both of which were delicious - and can't wait to come back for a meal. There's a lot of space to sit inside and out and a back room you can reserve for parties. There's also space for a DJ/band, as well as a beautiful mural depicting a Filipina woman dancing. Definitely a spot to check out!
Delicious drinks. Try Karl the Fog and Lost my pants. The bartender was pretty nice and awesome suggesting some beers and alternative drinks. We tried the buffalo chicken wings and the fried chicken breast and thigh both are not bad. The interior of the place is pretty spacious and the decor is pretty nice to hangout in.
Purple rain ⭐⭐⭐ - wouldn't reorder - not overly sweet tho - little too bitter for me Fries ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - best in SF Garlic fries ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - amazing Cornbread ⭐⭐⭐ Royale ⭐⭐⭐✨ - smokey mezcal
I love everything about Victory Hall! Top tier drinks, grub, people! I’m a sucker for good lighting and they have got theirs dialed. I’m pretty sure they love my pup more than me, then again most do! You cannot go wrong here, pre, post and/or during a game/event!
Good atmosphere. Great staff, good drinks. Food from next door is phenomenal. Would recommend.
Amazing drinks 🍹 Located in an awesome part of the city 🌆 They also support the CAAM film festival 🎞️

What a lovely spot for a bite and a beer! Stopped by on the weekend when the Giants were out of town, so it was chill. Parking still sucked, but that ain't a story. Great looking food from Little Skillet, an attentive staff, and good atmosphere make for a wonderful experience!
Loved it and would happily return! I went here for brunch a couple of weekends ago. Deanna (the owner) was so welcoming and friendly, and the service was just excellent. The chicken and waffles were delicious as were the many, many other appetizers we ordered for the table (hello, beignets!!). The ambiance was fantastic, too. 10/10, I'd come here again.
Whenever I'm around Oracle Ballpark and I'm craving Fried Chicken, I always think of Victory Hall & Parlor tucked away on Ritch Street in SoMa, it's been a reliable hang since the Little Skillet crew took over the kitchen! The vibe is perfect: exposed brick, high ceilings, that industrial-chill feel that's big enough for groups but still cozy (great for pre-Giants games or just post-work unwinding). Bartenders are friendly and whip up killer craft cocktails – think classics with a twist, solid mules, and seasonal specials that hit right. Pair it with the famous fried chicken & waffles (crispy, juicy, and worth the hype), skillet mac & cheese, or pulled pork sliders – Southern-inspired soul food that's hearty and hits the spot without being too fussy. Pro tip: Catch happy hour (daily 4-6pm) for deals, and it's super walkable from the ballpark or Caltrain. Perfect for catching games on the TVs or just chilling with friends. If you're in SoMa craving good booze, solid bar eats, and that neighborhood energy, Victory Hall is a winner. Heading back soon!
I came across this place tucked away in the alley and popped my head in just to take a look. The place was so attractive with the rustic wood feel, beautiful lighting and upbeat tunes that I had to stay for at least one drink. It appears to be primarily a bar but they do serve food from the adjoining restaurant next door. The place is huge with two rooms, one of which I hear you can reserve for private parties, high ceilings and lots of open floor space so you won't feel so cramped when it's crowded. I didn't have time to stay for a bite but I most certainly enjoyed my outstanding jalapeno margarita.
We came by for their Sunday brunch today, and we were both blown away by the aesthetic of the interior. It’s cute on the outside but come in for a true treasure. The interior blends art murals with brick walls, big booth seating and unique bar seating. It’s an old building retouched with charm. And the food from Little Skillet that is served there, awesome. My girlfriend got the blackened chicken salad and I got the boneless fried chicken plate with grits and collards… still drooling from those delicious collards. We sat the bar and were well tended to by the bartender. Great spot. Will return.
We ordered from the skillet menu. The blackened shrimp and catfish were both perfectly cooked and flavorful. The mashed potatoes with mushroom gravy were pure comfort. The collard greens, even though vegetarian, were deeply flavorful and a little smoky. My vegetarian gf was happy there. We will definitely come back
Vibes and staff are top notch!! Live vinyl spinning every Saturday!

Solid choice for lunch or after work drinks. If you're into fried chicken, check this place out. Victory Hall is the larger restaurant space while Little Skillet serves the same food from a to-go counter. Victory Hall also serves all food in to-go containers, so even if you order inside you can get up and leave anytime you need. They serve a mix of things, from chicken and waffles to po'boys to breakfast items. The fried chicken is definitely their bread and butter. When I strayed to a po'boy one day, I wasn't thrilled... the fries were good and the crispy catfish on the sandwich was good, but there was too much bread, not enough stuff, and overall the flavor just wasn't as awesome as their chicken. I definitely had food envy as I watched others tear into their crispy wings and drumsticks. Local tip: come early or late. The line wraps around the block from about 11:45pm-12:45pm.
Super tasty Fried chicken + amazing cocktails.Killer combo!

My loco friend took me there during my visit to San Francisco. The staff were friendly and nice, introduced their menu and services with big smiles. The atmosphere was lively and cozy. If I visit the town again, I will stay there longer and want to try their food and drinks more.
I have enjoyed everything except I dislike jalapeno in my cornbread. The fried chicken is an every other week stop for lunch. Please get rid of the "self service" at the window outside. They do not have a full menu with options available so I dont order if the guy inside says, "gimme 7-8 mins".

We googled a place to find chicken and waffles and this is what came up. When we got there I was excited about the menu. They had my should've restaurant favorites. Chicken and waffles fried catfish cornbread and collard greens. It was a let down. I also ordered a side of roasted vegetables. They were still raw. However, the pineapple ginger mojito was 5 stars. We loved it. The staff was friendly. The place was clean. It did smell a little weird but we were hungry so we agreed to ignore it lol. I wanted to love it but if we're in the area again, I would only go for drinks.

Ordered a Cobb salad and a two-piece fried chicken plate. The Cobb came full of romaine in the middle of the romaine lettuce recall in November — we shouldn’t have had to ask them to replace it with a different lettuce. The first fried chicken plate came out cold and soft, obviously old. When we asked them to heat it up, the second plate came with a tray lining that bled blue ink all over the chicken.
I drove over an hour from the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge to Little Skillet, following their guidance to Victory Hall & Parlor. After being seated, no one came to check on me or ask how the food was; I waited over 10 minutes and had to seek out a waitress just to place my order. When the food arrived, the chicken was fantastic, but the waffles and mac and cheese were cold. No one followed up, and I had to track down another waitress just to get a to-go bag and the bill. It was a thoroughly disappointing experience
