Delicious food at decent prices. Really enjoyed their Bird's Nest chow mein, paratha veggie wraps and the egg cake they serve on the side of the rice plates! Many vegetarian options. Great service. BTW, this Golden Lotus is unrelated to the one in downtown Oakland.

Also, their menu provided a great variety of Vietnamese food. (His highly recommended tea was very refreshing as well) (Pho noodles are such great quality! I didn't know I needed this in my life until I came here. You can tell that they are made from scratch. Definitely something I will miss when I leave San Francisco) • Size portions are pretty awesome • Pricing is fair. Some may even say "cheap" • Location was nice and easy to spot • Inside the store was clean and easy to get around (I didnt use their bathroom, so I'm not sure about how clean their restrooms were) • Had my leftover pho to-go, and they packaged it very nicely with the necessities I'm from WI and can say that I wish we had this place everywhere! Immaculately clean with great Viet selection! One of the brighter spots in the tenderloin area and most likely the best fish soup in all of the city is found here in this corner of little Saigon! The large portions of pho or soup should be good enough for two people and rice meal combos with meat should fill any customer up! Great for takeout as well! And very very clean facility — including the bathroom!

The food here was excellent!! I visited here with my vegetarian friend and I cannot speak highly enough about the Pho Chay specifically-- BEST veggie broth I have ever tasted. Everything we had was fantastic The service felt homey, cozy and we were well taken care of by the kind man working there. He was attentive to details and made good recommendations for us. Next time I'm in San Francisco I will definitely return!

#3 - Banh Cuon Thit Nuong (warm rice rolls with grilled lemongrass pork and mint), a true crowd pleaser; fried shallots topping an added savory plus. #29 - Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef noodle soup), built off a solid pho broth, but could have benefitted from more lemongrass, citrus, sweet. On a recent morning visit, #21 - Pho Dac Biet (standard combination beef pho) unfortunately came lukewarm with over-cooked noodles. Overall, solid Vietnamese in the TL worth a visit; I’m hoping the disappointing experience with morning pho was only a fluke and not the standard.

We got the banh cuon (#3) for an appetizer and I also got pho ga (#25). Both were really good, but especially the banh cuon! Rice paper was very soft, I wish there was more pork in the roll though.

Everyone always talked about the much more popular Pho 2000 next door, but after trying Golden Lotus this is my go-to spot. Portion sizes are a bit smaller, but the beef quality is far better, the broth is more flavorful, the herbs are more plentiful, and the service is friendlier. Pro tip: they open early so you can come here for a post-workout (or hangover) breakfast pho!

Simply delicious! We actually walked by this place after picking up our usual Pho fare from Pho2000 next door last week. I think this may be our secret gem. It doesn't seem very busy and their menu is pretty much the same as the other Pho joints around but the difference is in the details. We ordered takeout: Pho Dat Biet and Bun Rieu. The ingredients felt more fresh and the soups are more flavorful. The phos before this place seem to be watered down or more bland in comparison. For the Bun Rieu, they put more ingredients like actual cooked tomatoes (so sweet) and shrimps (deveined and all). The minced pork is not just floating around; they are like meat balls and easier to eat. The wait is very short 5-10 min. Overall, great experience!

Phonomenal pho. Unlike my puns, Golden Lotus is actually good. Large portions for cheap prices, cordial owners and the meatiest pho in Little Vietnam. And they accept credit card. Large pho came out to be $10.20 with tax. edit. Came back after years and the pho is still great. Ordered a #3 (rice roll with pork and herbs) as well and it was super good. Everything was very fresh. Owner(?)(the guy working the front) was very nice and started the meal by offering free hot tea.

COME HERE. It is a no-frills restaurant. But, the moment you walk in there is someone to greet you and seat you immediately. The menu has a lot of options, and the portions were very large. I ordered a fish Pho large which was only a dollar more than the small. Definitely order the large, the difference in size is totally worth the extra dollar. This place is good, to the point, well priced, and great portions I recommend anyone come here to stop in for an authentic authentic Vietnamese meal.

Fire! So good we got the shrimp papaya salad, rice rolls, calamari, and pho combo with tofu. We also got Thai tea and Vietnamese coffee as well. The food was great and came out quickly. The drinks were great and the staff was super nice and efficient. Def recommend. Don’t have pictures because we cleared everything.

A great place for tourists who look for Asian (Vietnamese) taste with good prices. The staffs are helpful and friendly. The place is small but accomodates a lot of people. The menu is variable and serving is fast. Street parking is available but hard to find one. Consider parking wherever possible instead of trying to find one nearby.

Low key Viet spot in Little Saigon. Had the pho, thought the broth was solid and they had a good amount of meat in it. The noodles were a bit thicker and softer than I would have expected but a good experience overall

The pho is not very good! Only 2 shrimp and 2 fishballs for the seafood pho and the rest is vegetable. It’s wired they put broccoli, mushroom and Chinese cabbage in pho. The shrimp is not very fresh and the spoons on the table is not very clean.

Bun bo hue was flavorless and oily. I’ve had a lot of bun bo hue and this was the most disappointing. It was like drinking spicy dish water. My dining partner got the pho which tasted much better so I would stick to that.
