One of the best ramen that I’ve ever had. So tasty and delicious 🤤 We got some Sushi and Sashimi as well which they were so fresh and yummy. Also, they were so fast. Highly recommended 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Went in after a long day of activities around the city and I’m very lucky to have stumbled upon this place. We came in with our child sleeping, right off the bad the employee was very accommodating to us. I ordered an order of dumplings but to my surprise it came with sauces and a type of chili oil on top of it. usually I would eat it but since it was for my baby I was just gonna take it off with the napkin and the employee noticed what I was doing and she offered to make a new order without the sauces. Very kind of her to do that for us. Will be coming here because apart from great customer service their ramen was very flavorful and delicious.

Great food, our order came surprisingly fast. The tonkatsu broth is very flavorful and the marinated meat was on point, best meal I have had in a while. Karaage is crispy outside and tender inside, but no seasoning and imo the aioli might be better on the side. This place is small, somewhat dimly lit, with friendly staff and trendy upbeat music loud enough to muffle the conversation the next table over. Would come again

The texture of the noodles was perfect and the broth was rich and flavourful. Highly recommend for any foodie that want a good bowl of ramen with a twist!

Large variety of ramen combinations. I would strongly recommend going either before or after typical prime time hours as the location isn't too big. Great for groups of 4 or smaller - the hidden "gem" would most certainly be their chicken karage. So moist and juicy, an interesting and delicious addition to any ramen combo!

The lady who was maitre d', manager and waitress all rolled into one, was really helpful. We were to arrive at closing time, so she took our order on the phone and had a table waiting for us, and the food arrived in a couple of minutes. We ordered a tofu with teriyaki sauce appetizer (substituted with soft not fried tofu, which made it really great), the kimchee and tempura ramen with coconut broth, and three delectable slices of salmon sashimi. I drank a Sapporo on tap and my wife had their smoky, no-caffeine rice (or, maybe corn) extract tea that was just so delicious. Small place that seats about 20 people, highly recommend!

Came to frisco for a concert and wanted to find an amazing authentic ramen shop, this place will definitely be our favorite!! The calamari was AMAZING!!!! Plus the RAMEN?? Everything had over the top amazing flavor! The spicy ones are not too spicy, but the perfect amount! The service was amazing the staff was amazing! Not to mention the insanely quick service with our food!!! 100/10 would recommend this place to anyone and everyone wanting some amazing ramen in the San Fran area!!!

The food is incredible! The karaage, the tempura, the spicy miso ramen, the meats (skewers and ramen) were all so delicious! Unreal how good it is ❤️ the music was fun

Delicious! Had the KO and was just what I needed for the cold weather. My group and I also enjoyed the hot sakes and some fresh oysters during happy hour.

I pretend I’m in Japan when I eat here. Love the karage ramen, and as far as I know they’re the only ramen shop in SF that does it. They also have a great lunch special.

We walked here from Japantown to build our appetities....and were not disappointed at all. The food lived up to the other reviews and our own anticipation. The vast array of interesting and daring offerings made me a little nervous because it's rare that a kitchen can do so much while maintaining quality and consistency but EVERYTHING WE ATE WAS STELLAR. Service was timely for such a busy place and helpful when we had questions or concerns. We're returning again soon, but definately for my birthday....it's that good.

Delicious ramen! Place is a bit small but to be expected in the city. We walked right in because they had just opened. Reasonably priced and fills you up.

This place hit the spot. Randomly came here because the restaurant I had originally planned on going to was closed. Good find and good eats. First photo was their chicken karaage and the second was their KO. It did not disappoint. Caught the restaurant just after 12:30 during the week. No wait, not too busy. I can only imagine how this place is on the weekends.

The ramen was great and the waitress was very accommodating, I had only a short lunch break to get food and she helped me get out on time to get back to work. Cozy vibe

Kara age ramen and spicy miso tofu ramen where very good.

We were attracted by the creativity of the menu - wouldn’t expect to see lamb skewers on the ramen anywhere else, as much as coconut in the soup base - but turned out to be pretty delicious! It was a bit hard to tell what the ramen would taste like, despite all the ingredients listed in the menu - hope this review helps resolve two of the mysteries. The Jaeger came with the lamb skewers and the soup was doubtless Japanese curry flavor - you also got the carrots and potatoes :) The K. O. was a traditional tonkatsu ramen as described - very rich pork bone soup that was surprisingly not salty, so satisfying sipping it, and the meat was decently tender. P.S. The restaurant was relatively small so could be a bit of wait during peak time.

The vegetarian ramen was great- not too salty, bold flavor. Lots of noodles and toppings... But let's be real- this review is for the tempura egg. DAMN. Not since Hawaii have I experienced one as perfected as this. These are magical. The outside had the thinnest crisp of the fryer process, and the inside firm, but soft enough that if you were toothless, you could enjoy it just as much since it practically melts in your mouth. The gooey center when turned upside down was thick enough to be a slow crawl out of its warm white crown. Would drive from San Jose just to get an order of 5-6 of these.

Wonderful japanese ramen. The seafood ramen contains tons of crab, mussels and clams. the K.O. is Excellent for me lover. The grilled octopus is very chewy. Definitely recommend this one for ramen lover.

Fantastic ramen dishes and really liked the teriyaki tofu appetizer.

Excellent ramen and fun atmosphere. Skewers are a small but thoughtfully created and delish and only $6 on happy hour. Squid skewer could use a bit more seasoning in the sauce. Great happy hour all together. Highly recommended

We come here a lot; Ramen is always good. Last time we ordered Sake Clam and we were very surprised of how good it was. We order this item a lot at other places and it’s never been that good.

Editing this review because we were refused service because “dining is closing” at 2:19 for a 3 pm closing. I was offered takeout, but that was not possible for us. I can only assume the server didn’t want to stay 5 minutes past 3:00pm. left a very bad taste. One of my very favorite Ramen spots. Not only is the Ramen varied and inventive, but they also offer some other side dishes that you don’t see everywhere else. I particularly like the Japanese pumpkin tempura. They also have a variety of fairly priced sake’s.

I waited 3 year's to try this place and i was not disappointed. I was welcomed and seated right away and taken care of. Very small and peaceful restaurant. The staff was interactive and very informative. Can't wait to come back. Ramen was loaded with so many creative things lamb, curry, deep fried eggs. Appetizers pork belly and dumplings both were delicious. Saki was pretty good not even a Saki person and i was surprised.

Okokok, so imagine you’re gluten free, and you’ve never had ramen. Boom, now you’re in my shoes. Then imagine you get the miso ramen @ Kaiju with gluten free yam noodles. Yes — yam noodles! Thin and glossy deliciousness. Then imagine you have your first bite & are sent to a spicy, umami, scrumptious ramen heaven. The rest is history. You’ve found your place. That’s just the experience you’re in for @ Kaiju.

Really really cute ramen place with SUCH TENDER AND MOIST AND DELICIOUS KARAGE. Truly best karage and so much flavor in the karage and sauce! The only thing I wish was that there would be more veggies in the ramen. The service was great and friendly and fast! Highly recommend!! The price was so reasonable too for such big portions!

This is a ramen fusion place? I had some baby back ribs and meatballs in my ramen haha. It was yummy though. Overall their menu looks super interesting and unique so I'd definitely want to check out more of their options in the future. Not too much seating in here but doesn't look too busy for small groups or individuals on a weekday evening. Enjoy!

I love this spot. They have such a creative interpretation of traditional Ramen that truly lends it self to a modern palate. They also completely step out of the box in such amazing ways. They have fun but always delicious options to customize your order with things like- Panko egg! Don’t skip on their appetizers… so good, each and every one. I love their Ramen. Spicy miso is my go to but I’ve had all of them and one can’t go wrong.

The lunch special is pretty good. For $19, you get one ramen and one appetizer. I chosen Spicy miso and 3 pieces sashimi. The sashimi was great as appetizer. The ramen was vert special. The needle fried were on top of the noodles and are very tasty. The pork belly were big size. They were tasted tender on one side and tough(like beef jerky) one another side. Not busy at all during lunch time.

The server was so nice and the food came out after 10 mins of ordering and the food was good and good portions. Recommended to get a drink of you're ordering food and apps. Cozy place in Geary. Loved the flavor on the K.O. ramen and the Kobe Ramen. The Curry Lamb rice plate was also pretty delicious.

The ramen portions are large, I could split it into 2-3 servings & could barely finish it. The sushi was also fresh, rolls are drowned in sauce if you order one's with them. The skewers are also decent sized portions. When I went it's pretty empty. Server was attentive

Okay place with great service and cool ambience. We got Kobe beef ramen what that way too onions and noodles but too little soup. Also feel was slightly tuff. Flavors was mild and good. Pork chatsu was on the dry side but curry delicious.

Creative and unique spot for some out of the box combinations. The food was good and the service was quick. We got the Ebirah Ramen, seafood ramen packed with shellfish like crab, lobster, clams, and mussels. So definitely not authentic but definitely delicious. It is heavy so you'll probably have to walk off the extra weight from the food lol. We also enjoyed the oysters that were topped with tobiko and ponzu! @phidingthefam

Cute little cozy spot on Geary! Got their spicy miso ramen. Portions were good but definitely lacking on the spice. I also did not personally enjoy the deep fried potato bits in the ramen. I would definitely try again.

Consistently good ramen here; their broths are delicious and comforting! Only one or two reliable vegan options but they will try and accommodate modification/substitution requests. The Tan Tan noodle soup *can* be ordered with tofu instead of pork but it'll still be a pork-based broth- an excellent choice by the way for meat-eaters. The spicy miso tofu ramen is our favorite vegan option (ask for soy tofu not the egg stuff). Also best to sub the regular ramen noodles for soba noodles if you're looking to limit cholesterol. Word of advice: ask them to NOT include the shredded fried potato-string-nest in the soup because it makes it way too starchy and greasy (they're best enjoyed as a nice snack on the side). Pumpkin croquettes are worth a try here! Very cramped dining area, avoid coming after 4pm on weekends because you’ll have to wait forever for a table. Service is decent but can be super slow at times.

I have mixed feeling on Kaiju Eats, been here three times over the past three years, and never been blown away. The ramen is about average, but the saving grace is the appetizers. I really loved the Karaage and the Gyoza. The house tea always freshly brewed. Easily a 4-stars from me, if not for the fact that I was sitting on the throne for an hour that very night... this was my only big meal of the day. Coincidence or just bad Godzilla juju? TBD...

The food is alright. Way too many spices in mine to the point that was the only flavor. Couldn't taste the meat or anything like that because the broth's spices were so overpowering. There is very limited seating and long waits. Staff was nice and I would go again.

Look. It's great ramen. But it's fancy. You want good, classic, tonkatsu ramen? Go somewhere else. This place has unusual, good but spicy flavor combos, and they put fried chicken on top. Most options are spicy, and I (a spice weakling) had a runny nose two bites in. The ramen egg was panko-coated, not marinated (this was indicated on the menu and yet I was still disappointed). Small, clean, unfussy interior. Also serves apps, sake, curry, but you're here for the ramen. Take friends here if you want to seem cool, but this isn't my favorite ramen joint in the city.

So I ordered DoorDash at 5:30 and the expectation was it would be ready by 6:30. It’s 7:30 and I still don’t have my food. My DoorDash was waiting at the restaurant since 6:19. Now I’m paying my Doordasher an even fatter tip because he waited for so long that I had to call the restaurant. And that’s not even the worst part. I called and a woman picked up and I told her I had waited over 2 hours for my delivery. She asked my name and the moment I told her my name (for reference, I’m Black and my name reveals that), she copped an attitude and said “it’ll be ready soon!” So I asked for an ETA just so I could let my driver know and she said “YEAH YEAH, it’s ready now.” And hung up the phone on me. I also asked for another order from another place (double dashed) and the other place I dashed from was closed by the time because of these antics. My boyfriend and I are sick and we just wanted to try a new place for ramen and have a sweet treat from another place. Needless to say, will not come again and the service really put a damper on me wanting to recommend it even if the food is good. I’ll do an updated review for the quality of this 2 hour late food.

I'm really sorry but today's experience was absolutely terrible. Seated right away, Monday afternoon by myself. Service was prompt and the server was very nice. Ordered the KO bowl with kaedama, but oh man... it came out fairly quickly but the 1. The noodles were bunched up together 2. Boiled egg was cold inside, like almost freezing temp. Not even marinated. 3. Broth was wayyy to watered down for some reason, had to ask for another bowl of broth which tasted so much better. 4. Meatball and the short rib was way too chewy. Cost me $22+tip and tax but this wasn't it fam, I rarely not finish my bowls but this was horrendous. 2 stars because the server lady was super nice at least.

I’m really sorry for writing a bad review since my friend and I enjoyed catching up over dinner here on Monday, but we ordered a dozen oysters and both got food poisoning shortly after. They had served the oysters with this spicy vinaigrette sauce already poured over it so we couldn’t tell if the oysters were fresh or not. The other dishes we ordered were alright (ramen wasn’t the most authentic). Again, genuinely feel bad for leaving a poor review but just didn’t want anyone else getting food poisoning from the oysters like we did!

i genuinely never leave bad reviews but this was the worst dining experience i’ve ever had. i will say i’ve heard from many friends that they love this place, but i did not have a positive experience :( we got there and had to wait around 30 mins (totally reasonable). the worse part was they we were seated (and had already decided on what to order) but it took the waitress another ~15 mins to take our order and then another ~10 mins to bring water. we then waited another 30 mins for the food to come. every other table was already eating (even multiple that arrived / were seated after us). when i said something to the waitress, she tried to explain it by saying that our slips got lost but never updated us or checked in. the food then came and the skewers on the ramen were cold. they had not reheated them! as many good reviews as this place has, i can never come back and cannot recommend it at all. i totally understand the waitress was slammed with a full restaurant and lots of doordash, but the service was pretty unacceptable

The other dishes we ordered were alright (ramen wasn’t the most authentic). Again, genuinely feel bad for leaving a poor review but just didn’t want anyone else getting food poisoning from the oysters like we did!
