I've only gotten to experience Little Sushi Bar with take-out, but it's become one of my favorite places for sushi. The fish is so fresh and delicious and it just melts in your mouth! They also have unique fish that you don't find at other sushi places. I hope to visit once we can dine in again.
Very fresh traditional items and well- conceived creative dishes. Neighborhood favorite. Parking gets easier north and west a few blocks. They do an impressively organized take-out business, so table service won't rush you.
I really loved! The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. The waitress was very friendly and helped us choose plates. Not many people there when we visited, which is a shame. I sincerely hope more people will eat at this great place. Good luck with your business!
Great sushi spot in the Richmond, but I'm sure the neighborhood knows that.
It's not a really fancy place but the food is amazing. The miso soup is one of the most flavorful I have ever had. The sushi was great too. The service is very slow and often absent. I got up to fetch my own water once. However, the food definitely more than makes up for it.
I've ordered 4-5 times from this place. Food quality and price are great. However tonight the pickup line was wild. Was told to wait 8 mins (already ordered 40 mins ago), and when I came back there was 3 people in front of me and people skipping the line to get in the restaurant. I waited 10 more mins until I managed to get in front and get my food which was ready. Please get your pickup process in order, or hire more staff to accommodate influx of customers, this is not acceptable for a pickup.
Small hole in the wall sushi restaurant with some of the freshest fish there is. Usually always packed as it's a small venue but food is worth every pennny.
Everything they make is amazing. Agedashi tofu and ume shiso were particularly good, sashimi cuts are very expert. Nice people and ambiance.
We had great sushi spots in Chicago. We tried bunch of neighborhood sushi places in San Francisco and did not have any good experience until we discovered this place. Finally now we have a sushi spot in San Francisco as well! Great food/service and reasonably priced.
We love this neighborhood gem. So friendly, so fresh, reasonable prices. We've loved everything ordered thus far. Trying to work our way thru the menu. Keep it fresh Little Sushi and keep up the great work!
Quaint little sushi spot. The sashimi was excellent and green tea on point. We wish the spicy tuna wasn't ground (but it usually is anyway) and the Hamachi Carpaccio was something new to us and soooo good.
Beef Udon is a must-try! Sure, the rolls are great and everything, but they’ve really dialed in their beef udon. The broth is amazing—clean, balanced, with only what’s absolutely necessary, nothing more, nothing less. Even the golden onions feel like little jewels, adding just the right touch of sweetness. The highest compliment I can give is that the dish’s clarity of intention perfectly matches their precision of execution.
Best sushi place in the Richmond district. Fresh fish quality service good atmosphere. Only thing is I wish they had more hot food items like terriyaki salmon or a bento box.
Consistently good: fresh fish, generous portions. Have some of the more “higher end” cuts of fish at a very affordable price point. Service at the restaurant is extremely fast and even via doordash it’s quick. No frills, just good sushi and entrees. I’ve been to this place more than a dozen times and it’s as I’ve said earlier: consistently good.
This is my "go to" sushi restaurant. Very tasty and fresh. It isn't the hippest looking place, but the service is good and they are very polite. The service used to be a bit slow, but I believe they added another person to the sushi bar which has sped things up considerably.
Found this spot at the end of a Baker Beach day <3 sushi was delicious, menu was pretty extensive and well-priced, and our server was so lovely and attentive. We’ll be back!
Very good sushi and service. Mango caterpillar turned out to be not my thing: mango overpowers everything else. But that's a personal taste
Buttery, melt-in-your-mouth quality fish. Blue fin tuna and hamachi were my favorites. Also got a number of special rolls. All very tasty! New go-to in the Richmond.
Take out order so only review the food. Item ordered: omakase nigiri 10 pieces and 49er: Very reasonable price and fish was very fresh !
The vegan summer roll was very tasty and satisfying, especially for a vegan option. I would definitely order it again and recommend. Update: I had the vegan summer roll again and the vegan sushi combo and both were delicious— though I still prefer the summer because my least favorite in the combo was the fried tempura ones
I really love this place! The sushi is always fresh and delicious, and the service is always friendly and welcoming. It’s so close to my house, which makes it perfect for a nice walk with family or friends to enjoy some great sushi together. The atmosphere is cozy, and everything always feels relaxed and pleasant. Definitely one of my favorite neighborhood spots!
Probably the best sushi delivery we’ve ever had in SF! And if it’s this good for delivery, I can only imagine how amazing it must be fresh at the restaurant! 😍😍
A charming sushi bar with an extensive menu and incredibly friendly service. The miso black cod was tender and packed with umami flavors, while the Deluxe Toro Don was absolutely delicious, featuring a generous selection of rich, melt-in-your-mouth fatty fish!
Found this quaint little spot as I was craving sushi for lunch! Everything was delicious and very well priced. We got gyoza, a volcano roll and a dragon roll. Seemed like most people were picking up takeout at lunch, so we had the restaurant basically to ourselves. I saved this spot so I can come back next time I’m in the area! 100% recommend!

amazing food quality and unbelievable prices my favorite sushi bar in San Francisco

Food was delicious. There was some awkward arguing between staff after we were seated. I assume that was not the norm but its worth mentioning. That said, they were very polite to us and overall great service.
Absolutely loved it here! The staff were so friendly and helpful! I myself am a picky eater, and they were very understanding when I just got rice. We were a large group, and everyone loved their food! My partner loved his sushi. Our friends enjoyed a variety of dishes and they all liked what they got. We had gotten takeout from here as well and it was just as good!
This is a Japanese family-run place: it's cosy and extremely friendly, and reasonably priced. Chef has access to fabulous fish for sashimi and rolls. It gets busy, and they do a lot of takeout as well.
This cute, little restaurant has some of the best sushi in San Francisco. Little Sushi never disappoints!

Food was good however for $112 meal they only gave us four packets of soy sauce and two chopsticks for takeout. the meal included 7 order of rolls. How stingy
Great food. Staff is either over worked or mismanaged. Waiting an extra hour for the order placed an hour before that. Frustrating but no reason to let it out on the people working like Samuel did. Dude was just rude. Anyways this is a great spot but probably best to dine in than do takeout.
Great neighborhood sushi bar with quality fresh sushi and generous sashimi servings.
Small and cozy. Located in a very beautiful and quiet neighborhood. The food is delicious.
Food is good, however nothing was really exceptional. Sushi is fresh but the rolls can be cut a little wonky sometimes. In general the service is good but once when getting takeout they were 20+ minutes late
Came for Easter dinner. Parking can be challenging. Food is fresh and tasty. Service is very good. Waitresses always check for any needs.
cozy atmosphere, not super busy and great service. fish was soft, a lot of rolls and nigiri options. hamachi was a bit tough on the skin and unevenly sliced, ameobi was small but fine. unadon a tad saucy and fatty cut. hotate roll was simple and delicious.
Good food, super recommend the Tuna Tartar. Service is okay. It's a decent deal for the price. Compared to the other sushi spots around the area, definitely stands out.

Chinese sushi shop with a basic ambiance. Solid sushi but I don't think the price matches quality or atmosphere you'd want at that price point. If doing a pick up order, they will prioritize doordash, ubereats etc. so expect a longer wait. Fine but there are better options in the area.
Headed here for an early dinner on a weeknight before a theater show. I'll start with the good: the ambience is cozy small eatery with appropriate Japanese decor; the service is hospitable and friendly; the pricing was reasonable. Now here's what fell short: I spotted the pre-sliced salmon nigiri-cuts lined up in the sushi cooler which should have been a clue. Fish was not sashimi-grade (see my photo of the sashimi which seem to be uniformly cut as if using cookie cutter) and the structure and mouthfeel when chewing the fish was off (soft, almost tenderized). The rice in the rolls was missing the authentic su- (rice vinegar) of sushi seasoning alongside the traditional kombu (kelp), salt & sugar. The presentation (I'm talking about the ingredient to rice ratio and uniformity of rice around said ingredients) and slicing of the rolls (irregular) was not very professional. The tea, too, was disappointing. I expected sencha or hojicha but was presented with relatively bland and colorless tea. Ending on a high note, the best choice of the bunch were the spicy options (spicy tuna, spicy scallop), as heat and mayo can reliably make things better tasting.

It's in a nice neighborhood however the quality must improved. The waitress was nice. They are too busy with "Take Out" and ignore the few diners inside. Fish quality is old & frozen. It's not an authentic Japanese Sashimi preparation. It's good enough for common folks. The server was nice to acknowledge the old sashimi and replaced with fresh ones. Hope they elevate their food quality. Bathroom condition is average. God bless them.
I’ve been going to this place for a couple years, but tonight was a disappointing experience. Restaurant was understaffed and we waited for a table for around 30 minutes. We got our food pretty quickly and service was great! Although, once we tasted the sashimi - we were sad to find out it was still frozen. Ended up paying for one of our sashimi orders, even though we didn’t eat it. Really sad about the experience since I’ve been coming to this spot for a couple of years now

Just walked in and was greeted. Asked for a table for 2 only to have the other server ignore me then greet the other 2 people right behind me. She couldn't bother to acknowledge me even though the other lady said something to her. Seems like they are more focused on door dashes then they are on actually listening to the people coming in to sit and eat.
First & last time! Food fantastic, service great and atmosphere spot on, were they lost me was after presenting the check to us and still full drinks was asked to vacate table to a another table to accommodate a large group that walked-in so they could combine all tables for the new group!! Was rushed to sign check and vacate table! Left drinks and left, shame as just moved to the area and was really enjoying the place.
