Sunny side up eggs with chargrilled lettuce was a total winner for me. Highly recommend it. I was here very early in the day when it opened so it wasn't busy at all. Maybe later on in the day there's more of an atmosphere.

Great food and good service. Burgers where tasty and cooked as requested. The salad was perfect. I asked for extra salad dressing and a piece of bread and got it in no time. I was surprised that they don't offer a better selection of wine. At least one choice of red wine is required. And some deserts, guys. C'mon 😋 But the food is great so I'll return soon.

I went to enjoy some salad at this MIXT restaurant on Grand Opening day. They were handing out samples of their crispy cauliflower appetizer with an aioli dressing. Yum. There’s a big menu of salads and sandwiches to choose from. I ordered the warm curry chicken salad bowl. It was delicious! Freshly prepared by an enthusiastic staff member. I ate the salad in the restaurant at midday on a Monday when it was not busy. There is a patio on the Green Street side and a few tables in the front of the place The opening day was made even better when the cashier mentioned a special code for the day. I got 50% off my bowl. I also got a small bouquet of dried flowers. What a great way to welcome guests! The space reminds me of Le Boulange bakery when it used to be in this location. On the weekend, it maybe crowded, so go early or get takeaway and go to the Presidio to enjoy the outdoors and a healthy meal!

I had an errand to make so decided to take a walk and along the way I bumped into this little gem. I walked in and only 3 other people in the restaurant so immediately thought something was wrong with this place. I asked the Server how it worked and basically it’s counter order and they deliver to your table. I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana sandwich, side of fries, and a coke. I have to say this was probably one of the best Chicken Parm sandwiches I’ve ever had. Just the perfect crunch, sauce, and bread. The fries were nice and hot and the coke was in a can, but they brought a glass with ice. Just goes to show you that sometimes just picking the place a little different and along the way can end up being a gem.

We had excellent sandwiches at Split! I had the Classic chicken sandwich. The breading was perfectly seasoned & crispy. The herb mayo, pickles, & lettuce worked perfect for the sandwich. My wife had the Parm & she loved it! The marinara appeared to be homemade & had excellent flavor with that same crisp chicken. The fries were also nice & crisp with excellent flavor. The daughter ordered the Mac n cheese & she devoured the entire bowl. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in a trendy specialty sandwich! It fits the San Francisco vibe perfectly!

FRIED CHICKEN ON CHALLAH - what could go wrong??? Nothing!! It was very good. Had this as takeaway and enjoyed the Brussels sprouts and sandwich very much. Can’t comment on the restaurant itself because I wasn’t there - the slaw and pickles were tasty and made the sandwich all that much better.

Writing this with burger in hand because I can't put it down; it was the best chicken burger I've ever had in my life. I don't normally give 5 star reviews but I had to round up. Fantastic flavours, savory and sweet, crunchy and satisfying. So good that I'm already thinking of when I'm going to come back! The buffalo chicken burger you must try!

A newer place on Polk, but we've already been there twice because they have a really good crispy chicken sandwich. Very reasonable prices and everything we've ordered there has been pretty good. It's got a bright feel and clean feel and I was happy with the service. We will definitely go back.

This is a "new" place for us in the high priced list of decent restaurants in this area of town. Their attention to detail allows for them to cook a burg "med-well done" burg. If you ask for it, you will get it. So be very clear on your order. They're great. We keep going back. That should tell you a lot! just never give into it. They want to please and for one I think their doing a great job and we're certainly going back for that good grub!

Burger was great. The beef and cheese are some of the best I've ever had. Lemonade was also super sour and tasty. C ombined with the incredibly friendly staff it was a great experience. However, it was a pricy experience. $35 for two and it only included fries for one of us.

The flavors of the food were delightful and the execution mostly flawless. We went for brunch and got The Lumberjack and Chorizo Hash. The hash had the best combination of flavors and the potatoes in the Lumberjack were crispy and amazing. Our only complaint: the kitchen could use more patience when cooking things. The potatoes in the hash were still crunchy in the center and "over medium" eggs were barely over easy.

They messed up the order for my children and offered to change it but with a "uh they made the wrong fries...uh we could change it if you want." Service is very lack luster. THE FOOD was really good but again the guy was completely disinterested. The lemonade tasted like straight maragrita mix.

Meh, the food here was fine. All of it a solid 3 stars, nothing to write home about. Mac & cheese - I found the mac & cheese fairly flavorless and textureless. The pasta was overcooked, super mushy, made mushier by the cheese sauce. The cheese sauce itself was bland and didn't taste any better than the boxed stuff. The light dusting of bread crumbs on top was a nice touch but nowhere near enough to add personality to the dish. Mandarin orange salad - romaine hearts, kale, crispy chicken, savory jalapeño slaw, oranges, spicy roasted peanuts, snap peas, jicama, sesame seeds, fresh herbs, and miso ginger vinaigrette. Sounds awesome, didn't quite deliver. The salad was mostly romaine with one or two sprigs of kale. The oranges were grapefruits, the spicy roasted peanuts were actually awesome but there were far too few, the jalapeño slaw either didn't exist or didn't have any flavor, the snap peas and jicama were shredded so they lost all texture, and the miso ginger vinaigrette was super thick, almost mayo like in consistency. The crispy chicken was great, but on its own, it was barely a meal. Given this salad cost nearly $13, I was NOT impressed. Short story: at this quality and this price, I won't be back.

The good: The burger was pretty good. Very flavor-able and cooked as expected. The bad: There are flies everywhere inside so it was hard to eat while having to swat flies away every bite. The lady who took our order was not very friendly which was a bit of a turnoff for the restaurant.

First time customer. Food was varied and ok. There was hardly anyone there, yet the tables were filthy. Best part were the sweet potato fries. Worst part, having them served 15 minutes before my SALAD arrived. It is lettuce in a bowl...not that hard. Others around me did seem to be enjoying their burgers. Would give 2.5 stars if allowed. Too many other good food choices in the neighborhood, I will not be going back.

Very pricey for average food. Chicken sandwich plus fries and a drink for $25. Maybe if the chicken was melt in your mouth juicy and the batter seasoned, this was neither. My roommate got a salad with dry overcooked chicken, also over $20 with a drink. Too bad because the place is cute and had so much promise. The buns are soft and delicious and the sweet potato fries were pretty good. Not worth going back to though.

The food was pretty small, but good. I am a practical eater so I will also say the arrangement of the toppings were a bit inconvenient, if not pretty. When your food falls apart on first bite that's not great. Took quite a while to get my order and I had to get up and follow-up. They have tables outside but it's not really clear if they have any table service. Meaning it's basically like getting a takeout order but at least you have a place to sit. I will also include my experience of the customer service. When calling in to see if they had dine-in service, you're given a long outgoing message and ways to email for service, but no way to get someone to answer the phone. I'm guessing this is a function of having fewer staff, but I don't like feeling like I'm calling a call center. I only include this because I think it's helpful for owners to know about the customer's total experience. But I will finish by saying the toast was yummy, but priced accordingly to the neighborhood.

Got the barbecue bowl. The whole top was covered with BBQ sauce. It’s very plain, taste like BBQ sauce with a crunch because of the deep fried onions. Wouldn’t recommend

It's gone downhill for years. The salads are much smaller now than they used to be, although the price hasn't gone up much. That's shrinkflation. The value just isn't there anymore.

Came here for a quick lunch on 4/2. Ordered avo toast and side of chicken apple sausage. The table was filthy and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while, with food crumbs and hair all over the table. I wiped it down before eating. Food tasted fine but ended up with food poisoning. Later that day I had extremely bad stomach pain.. tried eating dinner but ended up throwing it all up about 20 minutes later. Stomach pain and diarrhea all night after that. Definitely will not come back to this place.

I’m disappointed with my recent experience at MIXT on Polk Street. The service I received from a young man and a young woman was unprofessional and unfriendly. I was in uniform at the time, and I couldn’t help but feel I was being treated differently because of it. Poor customer service can really affect a business, and this experience reflected that. I genuinely hope management provides better training to the staff, as MIXT has potential but the current service leaves a very negative impression.
