locals love this restaurant for it's simple, delicious delights. If you want a vietnamese pho or appetizer this is the place. I order Pho Ga with beef slices & it is heavenly
Best Phô in the city, BY FAR. Isn't trying too hard, just delicious and authentic Vietnamese food with fresh ingredients. Try the fresh spring rolls and if you're not into phô, the vermicelli is dank too.
The beef pho and the lemongrass chicken are both fantastic. Highly recommend this food
Great prices for Vietnamese food, especially for the area where more expensive and sometimes unimaginative places are starting to crowd out the long-time local businesses. Pho is my go-to coffee whenever I visit!
Grubby, empty, best pho ever. If you want anything other than great Vietnamese food, don't go here
Wow, super delicious! The portions are great and the service was fast. Will be ordering again!
Best Pho soup in town! If you're staying in Holiday Inn San Francisco by the gateway it's just 3 minutes walk away from the hotel. I highly recommend the place. The staff are nice and the price are pretty decent for San Francisco.
I'm Vietnamese, this place pho and broth is so fresh and it tasted better then the home I grew up with (Don't tell my family haha). I been to plenty many Vietnamese restaurants. This place is easily the most authentic
Keep coming back to this restaurant whenever I am in the area. Owner is a pleasant, reasonable person who believes more in freedoms than in mandates. The Pho is delicious!
Great broth. We ordered #13 reg and spicy. Waiter was polite
Been going to this place for the last 15 years and never been disappointed of their food. I really recommend it. Very affordable compared to other Vietnamese restaurants in the city.
Great Phó. Cheap price for a filling satisfying noodle soup. The meat was great, was not thick or thin, just the right size. Defenitly my favorite vietnamese restaurant.
Very tasty! We had beef pho which was excellent. Even better is the fried banana and you must have it with ice cream. Delicious!
If you really really want pho - but you're oil sensitive ( ie choloresterol) this is the best place I've found. Most of the meats are lean. (I get #9. The tendon looks like fat but its not)
Very flavorful. Hot broth. Great herbs. Would have liked no cracked black pepper in broth, but very yummy and efficient and caring service staff.
Great Pho place in SF, glad theyre open and made it thru the pandemic. Def nice place with consistent Pho dac biet with tendon and tripe
Awesome food, including things I've never heard of.
My boyfriend and I came here last week on a rainy Tuesday. We were desperate for pho because of the weather. Our usual pho spots nearby were closed so I came across this place online. I was nervous at first because the reviews seemed mixed, especially about the service. But I’m glad we came here regardless because we had one of the best bowls of pho ever! We got the beef pho with steak and brisket. The broth had a nice flavor. The noddles were nicely cooked. There was plenty of noodles and meat in the bowl. I also got the thai tea, which was very yummy! I can see why there was some complaints online about the service as there was only one server, who was also taking online orders and helping out in the kitchen (not sure if he was cooking?). So he wasn’t that attentive but he was friendly when he did come to our table and our food came out very promptly for there being little staff. So don’t let the reviews foul you! I’m definitely coming back & 10/10 would recommend
The owner was super nice and food was delicious and filling!
Noodles are authentic, good portions and affordable
I ordered rare beef pho and fried spring rolls to take away. It was well packed and the soup didn't leak, and I was able to eat it hot. Both were delicious.
Great pho and bun bo hue! Very authentic and the food is truly fresh! One of the best pho places in the city I have tried so far (i tried around 20-30 different places). Their spring rolls with peanut sauce was so tasty as well!
Noodles, steak cut thin, pho noodle broth, warn and delightful, there were many satisfied families eating pho noodles around us. Absolutely wonderful dining.
Great little area, food is super good, soup base needed nothing. I was gonna add in the sirracha, but I tasted the soup. Mind Blown. Perfect as is . There are huge portions, and I couldn't finish it all. Maybe because I drank all the soup. Would like to see paintings or even hear a TV in the background, the sound of the overhead lights humming is kinda wierd.

A Huge HOT bowl of vegan Pho was delicious We arrived after 8 and the owner accommodated us with a smile We left a little after 9 very satisfied.
combination pho is delicious. My cousin had the chicken- also good. Really generous serving size. Egg rolls were delicious. Order just from the restaurant’s website- it’s cheaper than the apps.
Excellent food. I got the fish clay pot and tofu eggplant dish. The fish dish in particular was very flavorful.
I come to Pho Vietnam every week. They’re efficient and the food is really tasty. I recommend the Lemmon grass chicken and the chicken pho.

Over $12 for a bowl of pho, but it's a very large bowl, an extra large in other joints. Decor is bland; the paintings on the walls look like they came from garage sales.
My first ever pho, and it won't be my last the broth and the noodles we're excellent and the crunchy vegetables added just the right note. I will be back!
One of the best Vietnamese restaurants I've tried. The pho is delicious! It used to be our neighborhood go-to restaurant until we moved, but we still go, even when it's a long ride; it's worth it!
Usually Vietnamese restaurants are very minimal about everything. Minimal about good customer service, minimal about making a good impression, etc. This makes them a perfect place to go for a quick and no-fuss, cheap meal. I didn't have the pho but I had the grilled shrimp vermicelli. Surprisingly, it was good! The fish sauce went well with everything, but I noticed they used an untraditional type of green. Overall, if I wanted another quick and cheap meal on a weekday, I'd come back and try the vegetarian pho!
Not fancy, but the food is VERY good. Try the goi ga (chicken salad). Healthy and delicious! And their special bbq pork summer rolls are super delicious too.
Of course delicious. But now Pho is $13.95? Of course it was giantsized, but no small or medium option. I usually get Pho Tai because Tai is good meat. Their pho tai chin has two good meats.
Really good local place. Fresh, simple, a little bit expensive. Nice guy running it.

Pho was decent. Chicken with vermicelli was tasty but had a slight taste of not so fresh ingredients
Had the pho chicken noodle soup. Was tasty and authentic. Was quiet when we were here on Tuesday early evening. Service was attentive and very quick. Atmosphere a bit basic.

Service was prompt and friendly. But the vegetarian pho was lackluster. Not much flavor and a bit too much oil.
It's basically a typical pho restaurant. Nothing much to rave about, but the place was empty and the service was fast. Simply a nice place to get a good bowl of pho noodles.
Nice staff. Unfortunately, got an msg headache a few minutes after eating the soup. If I come again, I'll avoid the soups.
Average bowl at best that is sometimes better, usually okay. I’m addicted to Pho and it’s a couple blocks from my place so I come back a couple times a year. There pho could benefit from cooking the noodles and meat less and heating the broth up more.
I ordered their chicken vermicelli bowl, and I thought the sauce was too sugary, which there-off the balance. They use skin-on chicken thigh, so if (like me) you prefer skinless, then you have to pick it off. The service is good and the atmosphere is clean and friendly.

Ordered beef pho and it was decent, but the service was not very good. The waiter treated us like we were an inconvenience.
Food is good but they’re cheap with packaging. The spring rolls ordered to go we’re wrapped in Saran Wrap and throw into the to go bag, and some of the toppings for the pho was in an open plastic bag that just poured all over the place. It was pretty disgusting presentation wise and really shows that they’re either lazy or cheap.

Had hoped to find a diamond in the rough, alas, no diamond, just rough. Rice noodles were over, soft/mushy, and the so-called thin slice rare beef was medium-well and too thick. Broth okay, not special.
Disappointing. Curt, sparse service. Vermicelli bowl - which at its best is vibrant, fresh, and full of interesting flavor and texture components - tasted charred throughout. Meat was tough, high proportion of connective tissue. Tasted like it was leftover and thrown back on the grill until burnt. Noodles were over cooked, clumpy and mushy. Small bit of lettuce and peanut. There were 3 tiny mint leaves smaller than my pinky nail. Stingy portion of shredded carrots tasted odd. Missing the other usual fun bits - mung bean sprouts, fried onion. Spring rolls were indiscriminately starchy, mushy with the dominant flavor being oily. Noisy remodeling work was being done during my time there. Maybe this was a one off bad experience.

Got the beef pho. Noodles were soggy like porridge. $15. No idea how this place averages over 4 stars. I guess a lot of people get drunk on Polk and wander in and just don’t know any better. Avoid.
Got terrible headache after eating here due to MSG overload! I was desperate for pho and my two favorite places - Ly's on Lombard and Golden Star in FiDi were closed. Should have just got something else, chicken was tough and tasteless, broth tastes like salt water that had never seen any animal at all.
I was met with scowls and as though I was burdening them once I entered. Food was decent. Prices are a bit high even for SF. I had #11. I asked for a to go container and was meet with another scowl. I’m not coming again.
The pho very good this is my 3 time coming so I wanted to try there fri rice Yuck!!! Never again no flavor the meat I can tell it was re heated. My tummy hurt big head ache...
