Raising Cane's is generally well-received for its tasty chicken fingers and Cane's sauce. The staff is often friendly and helpful, and the restaurants are usually clean. However, some customers have experienced issues with order accuracy, undercooked food, and inconsistent fry portions.

Tip: If ordering through delivery, double-check your order notes to ensure they are followed. Some locations may struggle with cooking fries and tenders extra crispy.

This particular location for Raising Cane's is the best. The store and parking lot was clean, the bathroom was in good condition and the service was excellent. Jorge in particular was very good. He is a great member of their team. They treated me well there and the food was wonderful too. Overall a great experience.
Zevi was great! He deserves a raise, best employee I’ve come across during my travels!
Raising canes is always a good place to go. Good food and good vibes. Food is always hot and fresh and the crew always has a great attitude. Lobby and bathrooms are consistently clean and the parking is great too. I will always have a special place in my heart for canes.
This Canes has been a staple every few weeks for our house since it opened a few years ago. The menu is tiny. The quality is consistent and the tenders are tasty. The staff is always great. Sometimes the fries are soggy, but I'm not a huge fan of fries anyway so that might just be me. My husband's request is habenero sauce to mix with the Canes sauce.
Excellent place to get food. Prompt order fulfillment and sterling customer service. Joe at the front counter was the epitome of courtesy, professionalism, and respect. He took my order quickly, accurately, read it back to me, and didn't miss a beat. I'll be coming back to this Cane's in the future.
When your Grandson ask for great chicken and toast, then we went to our Plano Cane's.
My daughter asks to go here for dinner often, and this location does not disappoint. The service is outstanding. The food is delivered as ordered, and always hot. Cleanliness here is paramount. Frequent and complete cleaning is very appreciated in the current environment.
Some of the absolute best chicken on the planet was amazing sauce amazing workers and everything about it was awesome
Kind of expensive but very delicious. I always see people with a smile on their face. All the employees are very attentive and and it feels like they want to be there
Canes is consistent with good service at every local location. I hope they maintain their food quality. It did seem like tenders got smaller at some point.
Tasty food. Good service. Clean. Lots of parking.
Love the food here. Cane's sauce is something magical.
Didn’t eat there but food was excellent!
Was the worst service I've ever had at a Cane's! All tables & seats were dirty, condiments mostly empty, asked for a towel to clean a table. He handed me a hand towel! I think only one big guy had a hair net on. I worked in the 5 ☆ restaurants for 30 + years. This location is dirty.
My first time at this restaurant and I liked it. Obviously nothing fancy but the place was clean, the employees seemed happy, and the food was good. I would recommend this place and I will probably go back if I have the chance.
There was one problem we dined in. I don't know who the lady was but she seemed like a supervisor. She walked to everyone's table that was Caucasian and asked them if their food was warm and hot and skipped right by I and my son. Because we of our color I felt some type of way. It was very rude. This day was June 27th, 2024 around 11 :45 a.m. lunch hour
Keep doing what ur doing Cane's!! Always on POINT! This location had the spirit of excellence. The atmosphere was quiet and clean. The cashier who took our order was pleasant. But those CHICKEN STRIPS THO!! They were perfect! So crispy and cooked to perfection! Thanks for a great experience. I love giving good reviews! No pics of the food because I was really hungry and didn't have time for it. Sorry! Lols!
Been eating at this location every time I am craving canes and the food is always ready within 10 minutes of ordering sometimes even less. The cashiers are always very understanding of orders and never make any mistakes at least from my experience. Very good place overall.
I enjoyed my meal and the workers were very polite. Good place to eat.
Raising Cane's has THE BEST chicken tenders ever! They are always cooked to perfection and the dipping sauce is just the icing on the cake. French fries are also yummy as well as the Texas Toast. If you are looking for an outstanding fast-food restaurant, this is it! Staff has great customer service as well.👍😁🥰
All I can say is I love Cane's! I always just drive through. This location has great staff and quick service. Don't forget the sauce - it's awesome!
I went to raising canes expecting a normal experience, but the service I got was outstanding, Noah Tellez is the most passionate, caring, and amazing man I’ve ever had the pleasure of being serviced by. He carries the canes franchise on his back, and i am so excited for my next experience. Thank you Noah, I walked in in a sad mood but walked out satisfied and smiling. God bless you, you wonderfully kind man.
The food was delicious Bob my toast please! Jayla helped us she was so kind and i got to watch he clean and enjoy her work the team was so friendly, with laughter from both back of house and on the floor with guests it was a really amazing lunch!
Music was a tad loud. Cashier was a tad grumpy, but we all have those days. Food was great, definitely recommend eating here, but maybe not inside. Especially for those with sensory issues
Love this place, the delicious food and the attention of the boys, a wonder, we will definitely return to this place.
I never leave reviews at fast food places but I have to here! The less teenagers you have working are the most respectful workers I’ve ever seen!! They were crazy busy but everything was fast, fresh, and the staff genuinely cares about cleaning, changing trash, ice, etc. I’m honestly impressed at these kids so I had to leave a review! Yall are going places!!
Phenomenal service when I had an issue in the driveway. Excellent customer service and fast work
Very good. " The Box" has 4 tenders cole slaw fries and good ice tea! Quick smooth service!
Visiting Canes has always been a wonderful experience. Top of the line service and food.
My family really likes Cane's chicken, even betterbthan Chick-fil-A. The Caneiac is really a full meal.
Raising Cane’s never disappoints! If you're a fan of chicken, this is the place to be. The chicken tenders are always perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The special Cane’s sauce is a must-try—it pairs perfectly with everything on the menu. The service is fast and friendly, and the staff always makes sure your order is just right. The restaurant itself is clean and has a great vibe, whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout. Raising Cane’s is definitely a go-to for delicious, no-fuss meals. Highly recommend it!
I used to eat Cane's almost daily in college, since I worked by one. Years later it tastes the exact same, in a good way, and most locations are consistent regardless of which you go to. Crispy crinkle cut fries, fresh chicken fingers, and that same sauce and toast. Doesn't matter how many fingers you get, gotta go double sauce and double toast. Cane's supported Team USA for the Olympics this year, and this location is full of local high school and pro team sports memorabilia and decor. Clean interior for dining in. Fun spot for small groups.
Wonderful place to take out from — have had some minor hiccups in the past (extra sauce was forgotten or was given extra cole slaw instead of extra Texas toast, but I’m not mad) but the crew + their positive attitudes + the service make up for it all!
Ordered a snack here. Staff was nice (despite the small order size) and food was good (lots of flavor in the chicken finger). Small menu, but that's just how Canes be
I love Raising canes it is my favorite restaurant to eat at the price is really good for the amount of food you get and I hope I keep earning money so I can continue to buy from this food chain!!!!!#ishouldgetfreeraisingcanesoflife #ilovethecanedogishouldbegiftedone
Hold onto your chicken baskets, folks—my visit to Raising Cane’s at 15th and Alma in Plano on August 1, 2025, was a flavor-packed fiesta worth clucking about! I rolled in around midday, and the staff greeted me with smiles so bright they could guide a lost hen home. These folks are awesome, hustling with a pep that’d make a rooster jealous. The food? Oh, mercy—those crispy chicken fingers were a golden dream, but the real MVP was the Cane’s Sauce, a tangy masterpiece that had me dipping like a pro. And that buttery, toasted bread? Pure heaven, practically begging for a second helping. The vibe was lively yet laid-back, perfect for a solo wing feast. I’m already counting the days ‘til my next trip! 5/5 stars—cluck yeah!
Super good experience today. Food was tasty as always, love the Cane sauce. Very clean, in fact the store and tables were cleaned twice while we were there. Manager came by and offered to get our drink refills, extra ketchup, etc. Along with helpful and friendly cashiers when we came in, overall the best experience you could expect from a fast food restaurant.
Nowhere else to get a low cost Breakfast on this side of the street since we were on foot. So Cane's has the manopoly on the Dollar tree side of the street 😁 However, the kid's meal was fresh, hot and tasty. About Ten minutes later, a crowd of hungry men showed up at appx. 10:30 am.. pleasant experience overall.
Very packed place, but the food is good.
The food was Raising Cane quality, higher standard, the service at this location is not the good friendly service I received at other locations across DFW. The building is clean like you would expect from fast food or a nicer McDonald's
Loved the fries. They were very crispy on the outside, but soft on inside. Chicken strips were good, but only got 4 in an order. Garlic toast was good as well. Fast service. Sweet tea had a funny after taste though.
Drove through for my first try at this chicken place. Very speedy and friendly window service. Good chicken fingers! Fries seemed to be crinkle cut frozen. The sauce is strange and I didn't like it. Kind of mustardy? I don't know if there are other choices. I would have preferred white gravy. After all, this is Texas! LOL!
Best chicken fingers around. And that sauce! I love the fries too, but wished sometimes they offered a side salad option.
This location isn't the best, every time I go my fries are cold and soft and my tea taste a little like the soap they're using to clean the urns. I guess I am happy that they clean the urns well, but please rinse better 🙂 thanks, I don't want to fart bubbles.
Fast and friendly service however was supposed to get a 22 oz drink with meal but got much smaller and hardly any fries. Was a to go order, otherwise would've gone to the counter to address the issues.
It’s always great! Food was nice and hot fresh and just amazing! Service was fast and friendly. Area was near and atmosphere was calm and chill. Had a great experience and would always go back and recommend to everyone. The only thing is they forgot to give extra sauce when asked and paid for. But that’s the only thing and everything else was amazing!
I placed an order today, Sunday 22nd at 1am. (this location closes at 2am). To start off, I got here 20 minutes later after placing my order and when I arrived, I saw 2 young men running the store during this shift and when I asked for my order, it was not ready. They started packing it until I arrived. I ordered 4 meals & 2 of those were box combos. I ordered them with the intention of getting slaw because we love Canes coleslaw! Well the issue here was, we didn’t get coleslaw in either of our combos. Overall, the food is always fresh! The minus 1 star was for this reason. We could’ve at least been told they were out if that was the case but they didn’t say anything. I understand it’s late and everyone wants to go home but personally, as a manager at a fast food restaurant, I make sure our customers receive the best service even when we are 1-5 minutes away from closing. Satisfaction is key!
I'm not a fan of the chicken here. I'm definitely in the minority because it's super popular. I think it's a matter of taste. The food is always fresh and hot. The Texas toast is amazing and I could make a meal out of just that and the sauce. The service in the drive through line was really slow. Not sure if that's a normal lunch hour thing or they were having difficulty that day. The food's not bad, just not for me.
They raised their prices recently. This is ridiculous. $16.59 for a caniac combo. $9.59 for a 3 finger combo. These are “full service” restaurant prices. You’re better off going to Chilis or BJs. I’m striking this from our family’s rotation.
The place is a little dirtier than usual when we went. The food is good but for the price I'd expect better. I only go cuz my kids like it
I'd say just ok. My kids like it so I go every once and a while. One of my complaints is they treat their sauce like it's gold and charge extra for it. Had a 4 finger combo and only get one sauce. Should at least be one for every 2 fingers. 🤷♂️
I made a 35.00 purchase in the drive thru tonight and I barely was given any fríes in my meal. When i asked for more i was told they cut back on the portion! Very disappointing about the customer service given at the drive-thru regarding the fríes with my order. When i asked for additional the manager advised they have cut Back on portions. Chick fila would NEVER !!
I really want to like this place, but the drinks suck here. Soda, lemonade and tea are always watery. So disappointing. The mix rate is always off. Sodas have too much carbonation, not enough syrup. Lemonade is yellow water and Ice T needs to pull his affiliation with tea this bad. I just drove through tonight....hoping it would be better. Ordered a sweet tea with my combo. Thank goodness I carry Sweet & Low in my console. Tea was not sweet at all. I can no longer pay $10 for a 3 finger combo if the beverages are going to suck. I am done. I tried. Gave you lots of chances. #bless But your landscaping is immaculate! ❤️
I ordered a 3 finger combo and only got one tender 😭😭 but it was amazing so were the fries just a waste of my money to be honest cause of the two missing tenders
I used to really enjoy Canes. You got absolutely huge chicken fingers and lots of fries and other items for a reasonable price. Over the several past years the fingers are looking more like large nuggets. The servings of fries have gotten smaller. The fries have changed as well. And the prices. Well the prices just keep going up. So less food for more money. Again I love Canes I love the charities they support but I can't handle paying much more for much less. That's why only two stars. Hopefully they'll figure things out or continue doing well. In the meantime I'll spend my money elsewhere
I love this place but we need to talk about masks and the night crew. Picked up an order around 7pm. The cashiers up front wore their masks properly (after fixing it) but the person expediting the food had NO mask at all. He prepares all food so this is not smart. Doesn't seem like anyone over the age of 22 was on as a supervisor or fixing the mask issue.
Went thru the drive thru and requested two chicken finger box meals with and extra piece in each. Got up charged for it but after arriving home found nothing extra was in the bag or boxes. Also, found two pieces in each individual box were extremely skinny and short as if it was once one piece torn into two. Very disappointing. This was the third visit in a row that the portion pieces were substandard but we like the food so hence the request for an addition piece which subsequently was not included. Time to move on.
The cane sauce was nasty, like it was expired, coleslaw as well, and the sweet tea was not sweet. The chicken and fries were good, but what's that without the dipping sauce, my side and something good to wash it down. 👎👎👎 this location was lacking.
Worst service ever took over 30 minutes to get my food
Mediocre. Got the Box Combo (4 fingers) for 11.45 with tax for this underwhelming meal. The fingers were the size of wings. The chicken fingers were way smaller than they look in the pictures - tough and chewy too. The breading was about 1/3 the fingers. Never been a fan of Cane’s, but I used to be able to store away leftovers when I did visit. This time, I could still go for more food. There are lots of Nashville hot chicken places in the area that will serve more food with better quality for the same or better price.
The menu is literally 3 items, chicken fries and sauce. Why can I never get my extra sauce I pay for through the drive thru. It’s fine if there is missing sauce that’s free but don’t ask people to pay for it then rip them off.
I'll be honest it's very disappointing when the quality of food goes down at a place you've enjoyed and trusted. As a consumer I put my trust into a place by spending my hard earned money at their establishment just to get sketchy meat. Every bite I took was filled with chewy chicken, more and more I'm convinced that cooking my own meals is the best route to go. Never again.
Came during my lunch period, because it is the closest one to my work. Was waiting 15 minutes for my order, people who ordered after me continued to get their orders. I asked the girl working registers for an update, she asked for my order again & asked the cooks & none of them knew who’s order was for who from the 4 that were ready to go on the desk. One of them ended up being mine, my name was never called and they had to open each box to see who’s was who’s. When she asked the other kids whose orders were they for, 3 guys all laughed and said IDK. For someone who is limited on time for lunch, this is extremely agitating. Do better
There was no one in the place besides one other customer. The food took forever to come out. The tables were dirty. I cleaned our table myself. The ketchup was almost out. The customer service is lacking.
I am only giving a one star review due to the exceptionally poor customer service in the drive through lane. The first window people that take your money seem to be fairly good. However, the ones giving you your food act very unprofessional and demonstrate horrible customer service. In fairness, the food is always cooked and prepared very well. I'll readjust my review if I see an improvement in their customer service. Right now they are horribly trained or simply poor new-hires. I hope management takes note of this issue. I'll still continue to visit simply because their food is exceptionally good.
I was in there for 3 gift cards, I shouldn’t have waited for at least 5 minutes without someone at least saying they’d be with me. I just kept getting stares from employees behind the line At first I thought it was 3 people running the place (which I’d understand the wait a little better) but no, TWO employees were on break during a busy drive thru time. Finally, who appeared to be the manager, said he’d be with us, but from what a lady waiting in line saw, he was pulling the drawer from drive thru. I don’t get why it was pulled, I wouldn’t have done that. I’m a General Manager of a restaurant in Irving, and if my employees were like this, they know they’d be in some deep water. I lost my receipt to do the survey so this is why I’m doing it here. The wait, and unprofessionalism was unacceptable, and I loved this Canes before, I’d sometimes come late nights after work before I got transferred out of Plano. Don’t think I’ll be coming back for a while.
VERY disappointed, out of all my years and out of All Fast food restaurant’s i couldn’t believe this came from canes. FRIES WITH GREEN SPOTS . One thing is experiencing bad employee behavior. But to have food coming out like this is just unacceptable. They most likely don’t care but I won’t be stopping by ever again
Poor customer service :( The drive through employee with a pink hoodie was extremely rude, and was talking bad and swearing at every customer in the drive through, with no care if I heard it or not
I got a gallon tea that was wrapped in 3 bags bc it had a hole in the bottom and leaked all in my passenger seat.
I’ve asked for extra lettuce at several other Raising Cane’s locations without any issues. I even offered to pay for it—whether as an extra charge or as a substitute for toast. This time, I spent nearly $50 at this location, and they still refused to accommodate a simple request for lettuce on the side. When I asked to speak with a manager, a young employee came to the window and casually said, “I can’t do that, bro. I’m sorry.” The response was unprofessional and dismissive. Very poor service and a disappointing experience, especially considering how much I spent. And after all that the chicken and fries were completely soggy
I've never seen bad customer services since i was in high-school I'm originally a Plano Resident born and raised. My daughter handed Stanley a $100 bill an walks off quickly and didn't even wait to give him the .18 cents the cost of the $21.18 so he rings up $100.00 gives us 78.82 . But he handed 68.75 now that's a big difference the manager said it's policy not to take money out of the register ok. Now I see it's a problem wrong change and bad management. I use to be a bartender I never had issues. It's not about the money it's the principle of the situation an bad customer service skills. Young kids need to learn customer service skills . This is a short story! Cane's needs a big change from manager to upper management. Just cuz his boss told me to call the customer support number. Yeah I had to call the police lucky that day I was going to be late for my own father's funeral. Talking about disrespectful people..
Guy at the front with glasses is rude. 👎🏼 Doesn’t have a pleasant attitude. But the food was fine.
They charged us too much and when we went they ignored us when we went to ask what they charged us and they still said that if they didn’t put them, even the manager ignored us, what a lack of respect.
Haven't been here in a while and probably wont come back, the girl taking the order i'm definitely couldn't understand! Asked for extra coach law was given extra.French fries asked for a sweet tea was given a very unswee tea, not to mention my chicken is soggy!!! Epic fail
The experience is generally fine; however, tonight’s visit was disappointing. I explained my order twice at the drive-through, yet it was still prepared incorrectly. While I understand mistakes can happen, the chicken was also undercooked. I went inside to request that my order be remade. The employee at the counter was polite and willing to correct the issue. Shortly afterward, the manager, Austin, approached the counter in an aggressive manner and questioned the issue with an unnecessary attitude. This interaction felt unprofessional and unwarranted, especially given the circumstances.
I would rate zero stars if I could. Gentleman with a beard and glasses who works around 5pm on Wednesday. Was very unprofessional. I politely asked for a water cup after making a purchase for $1. For canes sauce. But he didn’t hesitate and immediately said “NO.” As if I was homeless or something. As a doordasher, that’s crazy. Hope the staff get re-evaluated. Never going here again. I recommend checking the one out on spring creek. They have some higher morals and less prejudice.
No way you're going to get anything crispy from here. They will lie to you that its crispy to push-button through the line. Then soft nasty fries This is every time I have been to this location No more for any Kanes. GO TO LANES THEY don't mind making a crispy box. And the offer spicy and a full piece of toast
I’ve been here multiple times. They cannot for the life of them figure out how to cook tenders and fries extra crispy. Other locations can, this one cannot. Editing on 9/4. This location is the absolute WORST Raising Canes I’ve been too. I’ve gone different days and times. The staff here just flat out sucks. If I were the regional manager I’d probably get a little more involved with this branch.
One of the rudest locations I've ever been to. The young man taking the order kept rushing me while I was ordering, along with the heavy sighing he was doing every time I added something. I spoke up about the rude service, and they said oh sorry about that. Sorry isn't going to fix the experience I had at the location. I usually have the best experience at Canes never any issues. But to the young man with brunette hair wearing the red canes shirt and blue cap on Saturday August 31, If you dont like your job then QUIT! All I was trying to do was order food for the family, your nasty attitude was not needed.
