This is my first time at this Bill's but have been to several other locations. We signed up on their waitlist via Yelp. You can even select to sit outside because we had our dogs The waitlist and time is pretty accurate. We were 21st on the list, and it said the wait was between 13-23 minutes. As time goes by, you see your number in line update. I highly recommend using the waitlist. For the restaurant, the service was very good, attentive, and fast. The food came pretty soon after we ordered. The quality was also excellent. I got the country fried steak with a biscuit. It was delicious. The outside was crispy and the meat was juicy. I enjoyed the sauce! I also really liked the biscuit. It was soft and fluffy, not dense like biscuits I've had at other restaurants. Others at my table got a veggie skillet, hashbrown skillet, and a Mexicana omelette. Everyone enjoyed their food. Overall, we were all happy with the experience. Highly recommend!

Too good of a taste. I loved the part where they made the table ready in exact time that was estimated. The service was quickest I expected as well. Taste of Benedicts were not out of the world, though I loved the crab cake Benedict a lot. Heads up: their Hawaiian Pan cakes are worth a try! Great brunch place overall.

In A Nutshell: -Bill's Cafe is a local breakfast-focused chain in the SoBay. -You can always find a line, so make sure you get this location as early as you can. -I've been coming here for over 10 years now & the food always tastes great. -You can get many types of breakfast plates that suit your taste buds. -The portions are always American-sized, so you'll definitely walk out stuffed. -I like the Pepper Plant hot sauce, which they also sell individually to take home. Overall, you will never leave disappointed after eating breakfast at Bill's!

Food was fantastic, large serving sizes, and very reasonable price for what you get. Definitely would come again.

Little disappointed with the check in experience, however, we'll serviced and it was delicious food. Parking is little difficult and their lot don't have much space, specially when delivery guy take two spot to get the food and leave. Front staff do make exception for their friends if not in list but after 1.2 hrs you be seated. She made a little discriminatory act for offer the other kids a free hot chocolate. Not hungry for the hot chocolate but do respect equality. Overal, Awesome waiter and very respectful to party and kids. Well serviced and always available. Coffee cup didn't sit empty for longer than 1 min. Thank you for the experience. Note to management: Improve your pick up spot and have staff to bring the food to curbside, instead of having them take spot of dining customer.

I had the chicken fried steak and eggs, it was very good, and the portions were big. Our waiter was very nice, the only reason I didn't give 5 stars because we all requested Xtra crispy hash browns and they weren't very crispy at all. But I would definitely go there again.

I had just finished having a walk at Rose Garden and was looking for food nearby and saw this on Google maps. Went there with no expectations. It's busy on a Saturday afternoon! Had the eggs benedict with hash browns and was pleasantly surprised! It was Delicious!!!

Passing through San Jose, we chose Bill’s and were satisfied with our meal. The waiter was attentive, and the food was good. I liked that the bacon was crispy per my request and was not greasy. I would have liked a more robust lemon flavor in my blueberry lemon pancakes and for them to have been more on the light, fluffy side.

Looked higher rated and the pics of their pancakes spoke to me. I prefer steak and eggs with a single chocolate chip pancake. The portions were on the larger size and the palate was thick and fluffy, the picture was not lying!

Overall a good breakfast place. The place is always jam packed. I have been here twice and have not seen even a single table empty. Last I visited a was a couple of weeks ago. I ordered the vegetable skillet and took eggs(scrambled) on the side. It comes with a toast. The food is nice but I would want to use the word delicious to rate it 5 stars, hence 4 stars. The staff is fine. One of the staff members on the counter was drinking a beer(while on duty), that was the first time I ever noticed that an active staff member is trying to get drunk during work hours.

Not for kids under 2y old I want to be upfront and say that we didn't get the chance to order any food here. My review here is only so it catches the attention of fellow parents, and hopefully Bill's management so they can figure out a better workaround. We visited the restaurant on a busy Sunday afternoon with our toddler who had just started her morning nap 5 mins before we were seated. She normally sleeps through most noises but we weren't prepared for what was about to happen. We were seated at the far end inside, which is a small space with 3 tables. And a neighboring table was celebrating a birthday. The staff started banging a drum in that enclosed space, as part of the birthday celebration. To be clear, I'm not criticizing Bill's heritage of celebrating birthdays/special events. The wait staff could've been considerate of the neighboring tables and given us a heads up so we could take our toddler outside. We weren't the only ones to be shocked, the third table also had kids who were startled.
