Excellent service and atmosphere, we sat at the bar and had a nice chat. Food was really good especially the French toast it melted in my mouth. Eggs and hash was very flavorful and savory. Bloody Mary and mimosa and espresso martini were all excellent.
One of the best meals I had in San Jose!! My friend and I had no idea they had chicken and waffles so we nearly screamed when we saw that on the menu! Got that and the chilaquiles to share and everything was amazing. I had The Club Espresso Martini which was exquisiteeee. Service was A++++. Their computer was down that morning and it seemed like they were a little stressed but honestly they kept everything running so smoothly we wouldn't have even known if we hadn't been sitting at the bar right by the computer. Gotta come back and try everything else on the menu haha
Came across this place on a random Wednesday and it did not disappoint. Food was delicious and the vibe was quiet and quaint. Would recommend!
One of the best dinners you’ll have in Downtown San Jose. This cozy gem, owned by a passionate couple, radiates warmth and care in every detail. You can truly feel the heart they’ve poured into the place. From cocktails and appetizers to entrées and desserts — everything was a perfect 10/10. The steak and salmon, in particular, were outstanding. Highly recommend
ive eaten here for dinner and now for breakfast🍳. i love both of them, maybe breakfast a lil more. i do like the🍹 cocktails🍸 for dinner a lot more though AnothA good spot to keep in the breakfast rotation with bills cafe☕. reminds me of bills but on the upscale side. location is cool but the sidewalk on the corner is disgusting🤮... need to power wash that, had to take my shoes off b4 going back inside our home after. love everything else. eat outside on a beautiful day if u like, greeat shade with the big umbrellas⛱️. tight spot inside but worth the visit!! the shrimp 🍤 and grits is so delicious love the calamari🦑 had to do the hummus and ita house made and phenomenal the braised brisket🍖 was super soft with the carrots🥕 try the bartenders choice for drinks... u wont regret it... but live life on the edge ... take a chance even if it was wrong the breakfast: Chilaquiles is a hit!!! get the French Toast - anotha must! 🧇waffle n 🍗chicken🐣 was mid - chicken was a tad on the dull side - flavor could be more seasoned the get that sweet and savory recipe. but the waffle was good in my opinion. I wanna try the crab cake Benedict next!!! super excited
The Club is a great restaurant in downtown San Jose. It’s cozy inside but the vibe is great. This was our second time there and both were amazing. All of the food is plated Beautifully. The Chicken and Waffles are great. Crunchy chicken an a nice fluffy waffle. The Horchatta French toast is a basically a dessert but it’s so good. Their burger is great choice as well. The staff has been great to us so far. Glad we found this place. Now we have another great place to eat downtown!
Fantastic, low-key spot! Everything about this restaurant was great, from the relaxed feel inside to the perfectly crafted cocktails and savory plates. I had the braised short rib on a bed of creamy parsnip purée that was just amazing. It paired well with their mezcal cocktail. Would definitely recommend.
Cool neighborhood eatery snuggled along the Post Street alley. We were out on a morning walk, noticed this place, liked the menu, and decided to pop in. Small footprint, which makes for a cozy environment. Staff were friendly and helpful. Ordered a few dishes for breakfast and enjoyed them all (although could do without the microgreens on the French toast). Motivated to come back for future lunch and dinner.
The atmosphere, the service, the food were all incredible! The dip for calamari was so good (my husband was scraping the last bit to put on his burger bc he loved it so much). The batter slipped off the calamari pretty easily, but didn’t bother me- was still delicious. The waffle was the best I’ve ever had- crispy, light, not too sweet and the whipped cream and fresh berries were so delicious. Perfect balance between rich/fresh. You can tell the ingredients are excellent. The crab cake eggs Benedict was spectacular- I am VERY picky about my eggs Benedict and these were excellent. The perfect runny yolk and the crab cake wasn’t too dry or too wet. The wagyu burger was out of this world and the truffle fries were so so yummy. The crème brûlée was just so good- I didn’t think we’d be able to have more than a bite of dessert, but it was so good- not too sweet and perfect portion and richness- we ended up scraping up the last bits lol. Hats off to the chef, Roberto, and also to our server, Megan! Definitely check this place out!
Been here over 10 times. If you want the best drink in SJ ask Kat for the Sabrina Carpenter. Best Espresso martinis in the area. Best Calamari in a mile. Great food and good people make this a top spot in San Jose to visit. Daily and weekly menu so check before.
Definitely one of the best restaurants at San Jose!! Love all the vibes that they provide. The owner are nice and chill. The food we order today are so amazing!! It’s definitely worth it and please come give it a try..! Can’t wait to be back soon for brunch
My boyfriend and I really enjoy eating at this place! The food is delicious and the waiters are attentive and nice. The only thing I would say is it's VERY expensive. It was $130 for the two of us to get brunch. But again, the food is REALLY good. Attached is a photo of the shrimp and grits which are TO DIE FOR. Their chilaquiles, chicken sandwich, and truffle fries are also very yummy. We've ate here twice. If you're wanting to splurge on a fun brunch date, I'd go for it! But if you're trying to be more budget friendly I'd go somewhere else.
My top 3 in San Jose, CA if you don’t have food restrictions. Great portions, great food (all, included the desserts!), drinks and the best service (Erika 🫶🏼✨) very on time!

Great food and drinks! Green chilaquiles and crab cake Benedict was delicious. I can't wait to come back and order the pasta and the berry french toast.

We learned about this place from Downtown SJ's Restaurant Week. It was technically still brunch time, but they let us order the prix fixe menu for the event. The owners were there and they told us they just opened two weeks ago! Off to a great start, all the food was on point. I loved everything! The crushed avocado was delicious and refreshing, I recommend sharing it. Truffle fries were crisp and not greasy, with a really good garlic aioli (tasted like actual aioli, not just mayonnaise), but they go well with ketchup too. I would gladly drop by just for fries and a drink during bar hours. The pan-seared salmon was rich, soft inside with a nice crisp outer, I loved the pepper seared onto the bottom. The snap peas and cream sauce made it refreshing and the cauliflower rice was tender and melded with all the other flavors. The desserts were a perfect size to share, or eat on your own if you have a dessert stomach! Loved the ultra rich lava cake, the berries and cream were a necessary pairing. The cheesecake was great with berries too, I loved the soft crust. We totally cleaned our plates, there was nothing I did not like. The servers were super attentive, my water never went empty. I was told the waffles are really good, so we will probably be back for brunch another time!
Very clean and friendly brunch place! I got the chicken and waffles ($24) and he got the vodka pasta ($24) YUM. Our server, Alena was very sweet and attentive. We also got 2 mimosas and 2 bloody marys. Total came out to $115 (without tip). A lil pricy but very nice. Thanks! Also they have hangers for your purses :)
This place is fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious. The burger was perfectly cooked and seasoned and without being hyperbolic, I can say the fries were easily the best fries I can remember eating. No joke I would go back just for the fries. The cocktails were amazing and the chocolate lava cake dessert was so rich and delicious. My only minor complaint would be that it was cold inside but that’s my issue everywhere and slightly too loud…the space is small and people are just too loud when the music is loud at all. But the food was so good that I would easily go back. All 4 of us were really impressed and satisfied by the meal and the service.
The Club On Post is a wonderful restaurant with a great atmosphere and delicious food. The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff is friendly, attentive, and provides excellent service. The food is well-prepared, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Overall, it’s a great spot for both casual dining and special occasions. Highly recommended!

The food is pretty good and the service is excellent. I and my partner felt very taken care of during our meal. Never went more than 2 minutes without a refill. Fantastic pairings across their dishes. Never knew I needed a chicken club with pesto in my life but now I do. Only thing is the atmosphere is a little off to me. The loud pop/dance music they play doesn't totally fit the vibe of the "cozy brunch with mimosas" decor.

Food was good, the chilaquiles was good except it comes with runny egg that is not marked with food safety warning. The place is very small and the tables are so cramped you feel like you are sitting with the people next to you. Servers were bumping into each other - literally - they need to do one line of tables only and not two. The bathroom was not neat and clean especially for a place with high prices.
It was all very mediocre to me. I came to San Jose in hopes of good food, and this was something I stumbled upon. What I’d read/seen sounded amazing. What I got was mediocrity. —it at least made a good photo. Listen. It wasn’t the worst ever, but I’d probably never go back on my own.

It’s overpriced considering both the quality of the food and the overall atmosphere. Starting with the food: we ordered the Parmesan truffle fries, which were just okay—clearly under-seasoned, lacking salt, pepper, and truffle oil. The shrimp and grits were also underwhelming; the grits were too crunchy and could have been much smoother. The horchata French toast was the highlight—well balanced, not overly sweet, and genuinely enjoyable. As for the atmosphere, it was mediocre at best. The place feels like it needs renovation. The table we were seated at was wobbling, which made eating uncomfortable, and the restroom was unkept and had an unpleasant smell. Service was fine, I’d say average—nothing standout, nothing terrible. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place and unfortunately wouldn’t return.

Had the eggs and hash — no flavor and barely cooked veggies. My husband had the chilaquiles and it was over salted. This place is good for vibes but not food. Overpriced imo.
