Very empty on a Sunday morning. We missed the in room ordering that ended at 1015. We were seated right away and given a good amount of attention. Food was good and hotel priced. We thought the avocado on the açaí bowl was interesting but it was very fresh and good with my toast. Eggs cooked how we ordered. Chicken sausage was juicy.
My family is obsessed with Fountain restaurant for their brunch. It is nestled within the Signia by Hilton San Jose, this place offers a refined brunch experience that blends classic American dishes with French-inspired flair. The restaurant boasts a bright and airy setting, enhanced by modern white interiors with blue accents, creating an inviting and classy ambiance. The brunch menu features a variety of delectable options such as Eggs Benedict, Salmon Florentine, Avocado toast and classics like French toast, different style omelettes too. The service is great with attentive and friendly staff. It can get a little pricey but worth it for an upscale experience. It definitely provides a sophisticated brunch setting in downtown San Jose
Amazing staff, they kept checking on us every single minute to make sure that we were comfortable and all our needs we're attended to. And the food was just something else. Really delicious and nicely done. The ambiance was great. An overall great place to dine from with a friend or a loved one. Couldn't help but notice just how clean and tidy the entire place is. It's also easily accessible. I'll recommend this any day to anyone out there looking for a decent place in San Jose to grab a bite.
Only place downtown I could find an açaí bowl and it was delicious! I swapped the avocado for mango and drizzled honey on top and it was delightful.
Their food is phenomenal & so is their staff. I enjoyed my time there with friends & the exceptional service we experienced from Corazon & Paul in particular was one of the most delightful surprises in my visit to San Jose for TwitchCon. I'd love to come back if I wasn't from the other side of the country!
This is a restaurant located a few minutes away from the San Jose Marriott Hotel. It is a cute restaurant which is inside the Fairmont Hotel. You do not need to be a guest at the hotel in order to eat there. I was a bit worried about this since I was a guest at the Marriott Hotel at the time of my visit. The hosts were very welcoming and I did not feel unwanted. The waiter who served my friend and I was a nice gentleman and he served us with a smile from the time we arrived up until we left. Word of advice: it is always nice to leave a tip for this kind of service. Recommendations: the waffle and berries seemed to be the most popular dish to have for breakfast. Therefore, I would recommend this. It does not disappoint. ALSO, the freshly squeezed orange juice is to die for!!! In fact, don't order anything else to drink...order that juice. I will boldly say that's the best orange juice in the world...if anybody else differs, please point me in the right direction. Above all, I had a great breakfast here.
Staff was amazing, very attentive and our glasses were never empty. The food was beautifully plated. A bit on the pricier side but it is a high end hotel so that was expected. The fruit plate had a great variety. They are only open for breakfast.
AMAZING breakfast, very rich but very good, we enjoyed the salmon toast and the steak. Prices are high, but given the quality and service this is justified.
What a wonderful way to start the day with a great welcoming smile from our server Alberto. He went above and beyond to accommodate us. The food and service were outstanding! Thank you again Alberto! 😊
Savory and delicious breakfast with plenty of creative options to choose from. Bright and airy ambience in an elegant setting. Very nice and friendly staff.
I just love everything here. The food is always perfect. Witness the Huevos Rancheros with a red jalapeno on sour cream on guacamole. Mexican flag! Their Sunday brunch is also outstanding albeit painfully expensive. Service always outstanding.
The food & service outstanding! Alberto went above & beyond for us, we were craving lattes & since their espresso machine was down he got us lattes from another place. We found it very thoughtful & he really made sure we had a pleasant experience. Thank you Alberto!
They have a bloody Mary condiments table. Never have I ever seen something like this lol

**update 10/6/24** It's been several years since our last visit (pre-pandemic). The hotel had changed from the Fairmont to the Hilton, but the food remains excellent. Breakfast is terrific, but I have to say that service is all over the place. Again staffing (or lack thereof) is key. Management needs to step it up. It's a fine restaurant located inside the Fairmont Hotel (downtown San Jose), but handles itself like a new establishment that hasn't settled in yet.
We loved the oatmeal with peach cobbler and avocado toast for breakfast, but waffles were soggy (which you should never eat)

Came here for breakfast on a Sunday. Service was terrible we were not greeted by our server our orders were not taken until we had been sat for over 15 minutes. The food was mid we will not be returning.
This place has great ambiance and is located conveniently in the Hilton. Service was good until the end. Waited for long at the end to pay the bill with my credit card. Guess they assumed I would charge to my room. and ambiance was superb! Food needs a little help. Started with “fresh squeezed” orange juice which is definitely store bought. Tastes good but wasn’t freshly squeezed. Latte was a better choice for a hot beverage. Has great flavor. Steel cut oatmeal was ok. Fruit on top was fresh. Served with milk and syrup on the side…who uses syrup on oatmeal? My wife tried the Lobster Benedict and she said it’s a 3.5 out of 5. She would have ordered something else.
Went here with a large group. The waiter seemed to be eager to sell us the buffet menu and offered to cover the kids if half of our group chose the buffet. We and another family chose buffet because we have kids. I’d say the buffet is nothing to write home about for $39.99. A small selection of breakfast: eggs, sausage, bacon, pastry, omelet, sushi, steak and salmon. Then we had some fruits and some tarts/sweets (macarons were on the sweet side). Their regular menu seems fine and it’s a better value.

To answer your question, the buffet on Saturday does not go until 2 o'clock. It must close by about 10 AM.
I felt racially profiled and treated poorly by staff. The food was bland and the the upcharge of $7 for any add on is ridiculous. If you’re gonna be such an expensive restaurant at least have good food. I had even started eating and they placed the check on the table like kicking me out already. Definitely never going back in there.
