The most amazing service and food one could offers. Great hospitality, relaxing environment even amongst the Covid-19. Thank you for serving the most amazing food ever. I am from San Diego and can't wait to come back to eat again. Thank you 😊💖💝 fish tacos served with grilled salmon is a knock out.
They have a huge selection of seafood dishes, Everything is fresh and delicious, and the portions are very generous. Plus, the prices are really reasonable – you won't break the bank here. Whether you're a seafood lover or just looking for a casual meal with friends, this restaurant is a great option.
Really fun decor and the staff were super amicable. The food was decent.
San Francisco style clam chowder💕 really good food and drinks lRoseys fish city Alum Rock
Fish and shrimp tacos were very good, we got them to go and they put everythingon the side so we could prepare them when ready. Will be back to eat inside.
The service was fantastic! The food was delicious. The super Michelata's was amazing! Good chips and salsa, fried oysters, grilled oysters in a half shell with the works on top. The chilaquiles with the lobster was good. The clam chowder is really good. It's worth the trip to try this place.
Don't let the no-frills atmosphere fool you. Thier food is top notch... well the food that I've ordered so far is top notch. My favorite is their fish and chips. The family-feel staff are pretty friendly. They're a little pricey, but worth it.
Came into San Jose for work. Was considering driving into the bay only for a local to suggest this place. So glad we tried it out. Absolutely loved it. We ordered the classic fish & chips , clam chowder bread bowl ( so crispy and soft with creamy chowder) the oyster rockafeller was by far my favorite. My husband enjoyed the fried calamari (so fresh and crispy). We spent a little over $70 my only complaint would be the drinks each $5.50 that’s a bit much for a beverage. Overall experience was awesome our waitress was so kind and helpful .
I tried the fries served with steak, shrimp, and a large crustacean tail, and the dish was truly enjoyable. Everything was seasoned well and came out fresh and hot. I would gladly return, and I have even recommended this place to friends who enjoy seafood.
Attended us quik, very friendly and good atmosphere with old school jams playing in the background.
Great food for the price it was a great value of the food was good and the portions were big.
I recently dined at Rosy Fish City and had a wonderful experience. Myra, our server, was quick, friendly, and efficient from the moment we sat down. I ordered the halibut, which was perfectly cooked—light, flaky, and full of flavor. It paired beautifully with a glass (or two!) of Chardonnay. As someone with a shellfish allergy, I appreciated that Myra was attentive to my needs. My salad initially arrived with shrimp, but she was very understanding and had the kitchen remake it without hesitation. If you’re also avoiding shellfish, just be sure to clarify when ordering. Overall, I had a delightful meal and would highly recommend Rosy Fish City for both the food and the wonderful service.
If you enjoy lobster I suggest trying it. My partner loves lobster and I saw this place on Instagram. He got a shrimp fettuccine bowl with lobster on top and he really enjoyed it. I got the lobster fries which came with steak and shrimp and a lobster tail. It was pretty good and I would go back and already recommended to some friends who like fish. They seemed to have. A wide variety of fish and were reasonably priced. Servers were fast and super sweet. I enjoyed the potato skins also and the pina colada was really good.
Excellent food! Just as pictured on their instagram. So very yummy!!!! Exceeded our expectations. Love the quaint vibe too. Clam chowder and lobster combo was amazing!
Wife and I were in the area found this place on Google and decided to give ot a try; there'splenty of parkingin the back. We are glad we did. The dishes ordered were very fresh and tasty. Service is great, friendly, and attentive. The price is right for the portion served. Highly recommended if you are in the area and want to try Mexican flavor sea foods.

This is a small restaurant, with not many parking spaces. Fried Calamari & fries - my take out order. Food is delicious 😋 . Friendly services. Pricing is ok.
Food so good , good price and friendly service ty
Great family owned seafood restaurant. The seafood menu is very large with lots of choices and prepared various ways. I go and meet our family here when we are craving seafood. I like the grilled swordfish or halibut. The service is very attentive and friendly atmosphere. Big screen usually has the soccer matches going on. They also have margaritas, Mexican cocktails, etc.
A nice wide variety of fresh seafood on the menu! Something for everyone to include ceviche, fried, sandwiches, and plates! I particularly like the seafood tosdada appetizer which was balance really well and fresh. The fried sampler plate had a nice variety to include fish, shrimp, oyster, calamari, and small scallops with fries and coleslaw. Seating is open and service was polite and quick. Prices were fair. Updated prices on menu have been added to photos. Plenty of parking and handicap access is no problem. They have a small selection of kids items on the menu. Good selection of alcohol and non-alcohol beverages. Easy access off story rd. I would come back!
A cozy Mexican seafood spot with a pretty good clam chowder. I did come here for the clam chowder and it was good, well seasoned with a solid amount of clams but their fried fish with potatoes were a bit bland. It really didn't have any seasoning and while it was fresh and fried well, the lack of seasonings did really put it down. Overall pricing isn't that bad so worth a visit.
Food was hit and miss steak and lobster steak could of been a better cut of meat lobster was great...pasta was great oster Rockefeller to much cheese but the oster shooter was awesome vegetables perfect 👌 clams where amazing....would definitely go back! Oops clam chowder needed more flavor and class but the texture of the chowder was perfect
Food was really good and priced fairly for all that you get. We got the steak and lobster platter. It comes with a big steak, lobster tail, choice of pasta or rice, and vegetables. You also get a side salad or clam chowder with garlic bread to begin. All was cooked to perfection. We also got the fried calamari and it was delicious. They have tacos and aguas frescas as well for anyone who does not want seafood options. Would go back again.

Seen videos of this hidden gems but I realized this place is just hyped by influencers. Came here on a Tuesday so I had to get tacos which on the menu said $4 something for 2 but when I ordered it was actually for 1 even though it says 2. The fish and chips which was what people were raving about but when we got it, it was average at best. Nothing was special about it. The fish was mushy under seasoned. The tacos were average too. This place may be popular to influencers but I came here during the lunch rush and it was just a few people inside
Had to go see what the hype was about. My meal wasn't as good as I had expected. Service was great and the atmosphere was culturally authentic, which I prefer. I ordered Chilaquiles with lobster. The lobster was surprisingly delicious and large. However the Chilaquiles was less than desirable. Chips with eggs on top with very little sauce to soggy the chips. Kind of bland. The price was a bit higher than expected for a brunch.
We have been wanting to try this place and we finally did. There was plenty of parking in the back of the building. We were seated right away, but we went on a day that was 90 degrees and I am not sure if they have ac, but it was hot in there. I got a piña colada and it was good. The calamari was also good. The fish tacos were salmon, which was a first for me and the salmon was dry so I couldn't finish two of them. Since it was hot in there I couldn't enjoy the clam chowder, so I wouldn't know if it was good or not. The service was ok. When we got there, it was only one waiter. I will probably be back but get a different dish.
Went there on a Wednesday afternoon and got the steak and lobster. The waiter was very friendly and food didn’t take too long to come out. I will say the food was decent but not special. Could use a bit more flavor but there’s salt on the side you could honestly just add.
Definitely NOT the best chowder in the bay area. It's overhyped by social media. It's decent but it's not worth coming back. $13 for a small (fist size) chowder. Other dish are good but nothing out of the ordinary.
Happy hour Monday-Thursday 4-6:30 is a decent deal. Pictures of the calamari and ceviche are from HH menu. Also got grilled snapper, which was ok. A little bland, but that's better than over seasoned. Sides were steamed, unseasoned veggies and slightly soggy salad. Food was ok. Ceviche was my favorite of what I ate. Great service. Family-friendly spot.
Rosy’s Fish City was a big disappointment. The pictures on Social Media made it looked good but the food was not what I expected. It was so random. The lobster dish on top of a bread bowl filled with fries, some shrimp and meat was so random. The clam chowder was too thick for my liking. And boyfriend’s fish taco dish was so random. A plate of steamed broccoli, fries, a bowl of chowder and the fish tacos were salmon. We were not used to having salmon as the fish for fish tacos. Usually it would be some rock cod fish. The lettuce in the fish tacos were too much. No cilantro or anything to make it stand out. And the ceviche came out served in a plate and not in a bowl but the ceviche was the only thing I liked there. Overall, the food was ehh ok but will I be back again, I highly doubt it.

Food was average to poor. Waiter was sweating profusely. Ambience felt like Sopranos characters might be popping out at any moment.
Saw a FB short on amazing Lobster Roll. Lets just say false advertising. Portions are deceiving as my roll was lacking. Expensive and was not impressed. Fooled once not going back.

Very disgusting place I had the fish and chips the fish was fried but came out limp and the fish meat inside was gross and tasted like it was old and had a bad taste worse I ever had the service took about 25 minutes before we got a menu I had to get up and get my refill the interior looks like a 1970 diner old rugs old tables and the cool doesn't know how to season his food I would avoid this place if you can
Food was not good pasta sauce very runny clam chowder was not it my kids love clam chowder and they didn't want to eat it and then they hit you wit a mandatory tip is crazy 170 bucks for me and my wife 2 teens and 2 toddlers is crazy
I thought this place is going to be fabulous considering their pictures . Service was bad food was TERRIBLE. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME‼️‼️ AND ESPECIALLY YOUR MONEY‼️🤮🤮🤮🤑
Sadly my expectations were high. It wasn't busy at all but when ordering it does not look like the food advertised in the videos and on the menu . I ordered the seven seas soup and as it was being delivered to the table the broth look like dish water. It was clear and dingy. The shrimp did not look appetizing at all. They looked over boiled and upon further investigation the shells of the clams were littered with barnacles when pointing it out to the server. She didn't have anything to say other than would you like me to have them remake it for you? I explained young lady if there's that many barnacles in that. That means the whole batch that you have is infested with barnacles. So I ordered the fisherman's platter was not to my expectation. Maybe they were mad that I pointed out the obvious. Honestly, you would think for the money that you're paying that you would get better quality service. The soda pops are $4.50 for a 16 oz cup of ice. The beers are $18 it was a big letdown butt. Perhaps they will make changes in their presentation and maybe invest in air conditioning. But until then you should fail the seas of Rosie's fish City with caution

I went in there and on there menu under the beef and poultry section it has of course chicken choices but the very last option on the menu under beef and poultry it says BBQ ribs so of course I'm thinking it's beef ribs well it wasn't it was pork ribs , well I said it's okay because I happen to like baby back pork ribs the problem was that the ribs tasted like it was cooked with fish or in same pan or something but it reeked with fish flavor and smell it was awful the most horrible platter I have ever had to experience. Thn I gave them the option to make it right and correct the mistake and they left me hanging never returned my call and never offered anything because of my awful experience so for this reason I give them 1 star on service and because the food was just really bad !!!! I advise not to make the same mistake I did and go to this place it's awful and the service stinks ..... Sorry I had to give this place a bad review but they were given a chance to make it right and decided not too . So 2 thumbs down 👎👎👎👎👎👎
