(Late review July 2024) My husband and I were looking for a new sandwich place to try and stumbled here. It’s a small mom-n-pop shop, family owned. We went during the summer and it was a teenager at the register and he did an amazing job! He was courteous, respectful, and attentive, better than some grown adult staff we’ve come across. The portion size is huge and the flavors were good! The Dutch oven bread was nicely crunchy and didn’t destroy the roof of my mouth. The price is also reasonable. My husband was there recently last week (fast forward to Sept 2025) for his training with a couple of his mates. I believe the went there multiple times that week and everyone enjoyed it! Bottom line: Good, big portions, reasonably priced. Support this amazing small business
The sandwiches here are extremely flavorful, and filled with fresh ingredients. Not only that, they are much more affordable than the big name chains that serve overly processed garbage. If you're looking for a real sandwich that slaps, shove one of these in your face and make sure to tip them!
The food was great, the service was excellent, the lady preparing the food was extremely friendly and carried a friendly conversation with me. She also was bilingual. The restaurant was super clean and there was plenty of parking. I ordered the Larry King which comes with pastrami. My son ordered the Kobe Bryant. The price was under 40 for both of us with 2 drinks, 2 Chips And macaroni salad. I am definitely coming back!
Fantastic store run by a husband and wife! They put their passion into their sandwiches and you can really taste it. They don’t skimp on the toppings either; each hand-crafted sub is packed full of deliciousness. If you work nearby, come check the place out: you can get a 25% discount. Drop by and support this local business!
Just had the “Say Hey Kid” with extra thunder sauce(they gave me a taste before hand) it was really good, size, ingredients, and sauce all good. They even chatted me up while waiting. Definitely family owned. Gonna go back soon
The menu for subs are very extensive, there’s definitely something for everyone! The gentleman working there gave us great suggestions for our first time. We will be back!
Yummy new spot for Vegan me! I've had it twice so far and both sandwiches were well made and taste great. I Doordashed the first time and I ordered, "Bely's Flower". It was so good and the thunder sauce on it was amazing! Also, I love a good cauliflower steak. The second time, I went to the place and the lady working at the time was super friendly and helpful. I ordered, The Steve Jobs" and it was good as well. However, it's downfall for me was that it didn't taste good cold. I feel the pita and falafels should have been warm. So coming to this realization, I took it home and tried it warm. And Boom! It tasted amazing!! Trust me, 100 percent better warm. Mine was given to me cold but maybe if you ask them they'll warm it for you, worth a try! They also have breakfast options until a certain time and are open super early! Yay! Overall, I already know that I'll be coming here a lot and if you enjoy great sandwiches you should definitely try it out.
Spectacular sandwiches. Super friendly owner & staff, were very helpful with recommendations for newcomers. Definitely stopping by here again soon (this was after a Mike Tyson) Edit: just tried the Sloppy Joban and it was excellent

Hands down the best sandwiches! Ill follow-up with pics. You have just to try this place. Best sandwiches and best price. The Togos down the street is way too expensive and the sandwiches are not good. There is also a Mr. Pickles and Erik's deli. All these places don't even come close. Sandwich for sandwich Subs A Licious is the spot!
I learned about this shop from the owner who used to be a customer at my previous employment. I moved to San Jose and told her I would visit and I'm so happy I did. I ordered the turkey and cranberry on Dutch crunch and it was one of the best sandwiches I have had in a long time. I would highly recommend this place and I'm definitely going to go back very soon.
Service was quick and sandwich delicious. Extra happy to see they have Gluten Free bread. The lady working was also very kind and gave great recommendations
Ordered number 13, the Zuckerberg, added lettuce and tomato. The bread was delightful, doesn't get soggy easily. The chicken was jucy, flavorful. The veggies were very fresh. The chipotle sause was zesty and creamy. Everything went well together. Im from Reno and we had the sandwich months ago but we still talk about it often. One of the best sandwiches Ive ever had. Cant wait to be in the area and eat here again.
The food is good and the staff is really nice. I really liked the Zuckerberg. The Mac salad is amazing. Family run and has a lot of choices. I would love to know what is behind these wonderful names of the sandwiches. Each sandwich comes with a delicious cookie! EDIT: I got the "Say hey kid" and it was delicious. Thanks to the wonderful owners for a good experience!
Very extensive menu and helpful staff makes it a high probability to get the perfect sandwich. Great ingredients, reasonable prices.
From the moment we placed our order, the experience with Subs A Licious was nothing short of fantastic. The ordering process was simple and user-friendly, and our subs were ready for pickup in no time. Now onto the subs themselves. The Say Hey Kid was a flavor explosion in every bite. The combination of warm chicken breast, roast Beef, and melted wwiss cheese was simply divine. And the A Rod, with roast beef on Dutch crunch roll is really really good! What really impressed us, was the quality of the ingredients. You could tell that every element of our subs was carefully chosen and expertly prepared. The bread was fresh, the meats were juicy and flavorful, and the veggies were crisp and fresh. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better experience at Subs A Licious. The staff was friendly and helpful, the subs were top-notch, and the whole process was a breeze. We highly recommend giving them a try, and we'll definitely be back for more!
Normally I don't like throwing the hidden gem label around but this place is much deserving of it. The sandwiches are absolutely delicious. From the quality of food to the quality of service if I could rate over 5 stars I would. The ladies were very friendly and offered to make my son a completely new sandwich just because he was being picky and wanted to try something different. So that in itself i would give them more business.I highly recommend to those who want a break from mediocre sandwiches and step into spectacular.

We love this place for subs as the variety and quality are great! We went again, today,Sunday, when it states it was opened and it was closed. We were disappointed because it is so good. Maybe update your hours posted on Google? Either way, I'd go again and support this business.

Got a Reuben. It was ok, a little skimpy looking, the kraut was cold. I'll probably come back to try a couple of different sandwiches before I give it a thumbs up. It's a similar place to the Sandwich Spot on Bascom. The sandwich came with a cookie though, that was nice.

Finally got to try this joint after wanting to try since last year when it opened staying in the vicinity. Lady who is the sandwich connoisseur was super friendly and talkative. She kept on talking the whole time we were there. Coming to the subs, we tried 1. The Zuckerberg - This was the better one out of what we tried. Chipotle sauce to the rescue. 2. The Frank Sinatra - It’s more like an Italian version of sub. More like marinara sauce. Was a let down. 3. Bely’s Flower - Roasted cauliflower is the first ingredient and it was more like raw cauliflower. ;( 4. The Steve Jobs - This was a better option with the pita after getting to taste all the stretchy sourdough rolls. Don’t forget to ask them to warm the pita. 5. The M.Night Shyamalan - Hummus dominated and it was not better tasting hummus. So don’t recommend. We asked to exclude bacon in The Zuckerberg and she mentioned that while confirming the order but still went on with it. All the sourdough roll breads were super chewy. Unfortunately, we ordered three which had sourdough roll. Was not able to enjoy the sub or even understand the taste of it because of the stretchy breads. We were extremely disappointed as were hopeful that they will be at least average after all the hype we got from the lady and thought of having something good in walking distance. Free cookie with each sub. Cookies were okay. Not sure if we will return after the disaster start. Tip: Sourdough roll is a big no no. Just stick with toasted dutch crunch roll or pita.

This place was “go to” for sandwiches for a while. At some point, they start seriously reducing meat on the sandwich, and quality went down. They went from the best French dip around to less than mediocre. Sorry to say, after going back and hoping it was a onetime mistake… it appears to be a permenant change. My sons have independently come to the same conclusion.
