Best burritos and tacos, bar none. This is a family owned chain. The family patriarch once told me that he will never franchise because he does not want to relinquish quality control. No matter which store you visit, the quality is the same. My favorites: Carne Asada Super Burritos and extra crispy soft tortilla Super Tacos. And on weekends, they serve beef cabeza tacos (beef cheek).

Was actually impressed with the size of the burrito for the cost. While I can't speak for any of the meat options, the no meat -- bean, rice, cheese, lettuce, guac, and pico -- burrito was pretty good. Wish they had a grilled veggie option. The horchata was very good! It was a large serving without a bunch of ice to water it down. They also have a few self-serve salsa options with as much cilantro as you want! Affordable, delicious and reliable. The bean tostada is underrated. Salsa is fabulous, I’m a fan of the green. Crunchy tacos or super burritos w/ Chili Verde are my go to. Can definitely eat multiple menu items for under $10. Been going here for 30+ years.

Been coming here since the early 90's and it has survived the test of time. I always go with the super carne asada tacos, dorado style. The dorado style means they drop the tortillas on a hot griddle to give it a little crunch, but it's still a soft taco. Get it with the green salsa and all is right in the world. Nice that they have private parking and a nice patio area as well. The interior shows its age, but it's relative clean. Not the cheapest taco joint, but the quality and flavor are there for me.

I've been coming to this taqueria for the last 40 years always consistent and always good recommend the crispy super carne asada the super burritos are stay away from the flautas they're not the greatest last time I had these I had a Chipotle episode if you know what I mean or have you been around long enough you will get the Chipotle loose weight diet you will be sitting in the toilet for the next WIC flushing out however if you're looking to lose weight have at it you will thank me for it later

The food, is as good as I remember. The last time I was there, was in 1994, before I moved to Taiwan. I was surprised to see it still around. I walked in, ordered a super burrito...and let them make it to their liking. (they chose the meat and all the fillings , not me) I sat down, and enjoyed the delicious creation.

This place has been around for a long time. I used to eat here when it was more of a taco shack. Good places stand the test of time and grow. This is a good taqueria by Bay Area standards. Glad it's still around.

This is the taco. Pollo is always the best. Cheese and cilantro and onions always on point. Delivery in foil is properly wrapped. Now we can argue sauce. The red and green are the best - though they need to find the recipe for the orange of their competitor.

The food is consistently delicious. This location is usually very busy so parking can be difficult. The customer service varies with either excellent or subpar service. Overall, I prefer to order to go and devour my burritos or tacos in peace.

I like both the Asada and “No Meat” giant burritos. They use sliced avocado instead of the canned guacamole like they use at other taquerias in SC County. Both red and green salsas are excellent. It can be busy, but they keep things moving. They need to open one in Santa Cruz.

I had planned on having some taquitos at another Taqueria ..but my pal Oscar Mendoza and his put bull said the taquitos at Super Taqueria are just as good! Well, ..Who am I to argue with a pit bull, especially one that still carries his manhood between his legs! So, we all jumped in the truck and off we went. The dog always sits shotgun..So, Oscar had to sit in the back and get laughed and pointed at by the kids. But, I'll tell you what...Those Chorizo Taquitos were BOMB! As were the tacos. 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆

There's an ATM here if needed but they accept card, so you don't need it. The staff here is really nice. The corn quesadillas are so on point though I wouldn't get the lengua again, it's kind of mid. I really like their carnitas, tho. Their red sauce is hot, like 1/3rd of a seeded jalapenos worth of heat. The green is 1/8th of a seedless jalapeno. Great flavor for the red sauce.

My awareness of this restaurant is from another local that is older than me, and says, before I dare post anything about the best burritos in San Jose, that I have to try Super Taqueria. It is, without a doubt, one of the best burritos I have had in my life. The review list "Best Burrito in San Jose" is primarily based around the local's, get it with the sauce mentality, but California Wet Burrito and Super Taqueria take a different approach. Most notablely, where I think California Wet Burrito failed to nail flavor of a traditional burrito style, Super Taqueria hits it out of the park. It's just so goooood. It wasn't good enough to over throw my number one on the list, but it only finished second the most finite of margins. Depending on the style of burrito that you like, this may be your number one choice. I should note to the people visiting after reading this, it's a CASH ONLY establishment, so hope hope you read the entire review. 😂😂😂

I love the simplicity of super taqueria, their food is right to the point. They didn't have the condiments out the last few times I was there, it's better to self serve than to ask for things.

I have always loved super taqueria. I am a 25 year customer. Today I noticed that all my tacos had less meat in them. Asada, Caritas, and buche. I ate inside for the first time since covid started. This is a CASH only fast food. My son loves the lengua burrito because the meat is well cooked and tender. I only like supper tacos that are toasted ( you pay additional) Nice salsa bar. A very quick and delicious Taqueria that is reasonably priced. The meat is tender and full of flavor. I believe that they only allow 6 customers at a time. But I think that just changed to 25 percent dine in and they also have outdoor seating for dining.

Super Taqueria is near my daughter's old apartment, so we went there quite often. Good prices and good food. Not as much of a favorite as La Vic's downtown, but a good go-to place for Mexican food near San Jose State University.

Great Taqueria - the Carne Asada Super Burrito was a big hit! The meat was tender and juicy and had lots of flavour. The beans/rice/avocado accompaniments were great. The store has lots of booths and tables to sit. Marked down as it’s not the cleanest - my light coloured trousers were stained from muck on the underside of the tables.

Stopped by this location as we drove by& we just had to make a stop food! One of our favorite foods in East San Jose. Of course the burrito with tacos was ordered to go. The food was great, but my boyfriend and I couldn't stand eating inside because a worker was slamming the chairs onto the tables half an hour before closing. After that she proceeded to take them off and slam them onto the ground. It was unpleasant and distasteful to see an employee do that.

The food is only good if you eat there by the time I get to the house the tortilla falls apart. Better off going in the and eating there but it's mediocre at best. They can do a better job

I like thier burritos because they are simple but yesterday I got food poisoning. First time, the only thing I had was a super burrito carne asada and their red salsa. The salsa was very salty but I didn't think much about it, until half an hour after I started to get a rash all over my arms, neck and body. I used to go to this taqueria back from 1982 to 1997 at least once a week and order a torta de lomo and one carne asada taco, in 1997 I moved to AZ and hadn't gone back, so of course when I heard they were still there I went back and my mouth was watering all the way until I took that first bite, much to my disappointment the lomo was greasy and in small pieces and their famous green wacamole sauce lacked in flavor, the taco was so, so. At least for me, am not going back, but I do wish they were like back on the day 😪

One the first disappointment in mexican food. I order a carne asada burrito and it was totally bland. No taste what so ever. Meat tastes like it was boiled I stead of grilled?

Service was bad, employees so rude. Also the way they clean tables is keeping an old water bucket with one rag outside, I saw the manager come outside wipe down the tables and then return the rag in the same water. That’s disgusting and pretty sure that break so many Heath code violations.

I love Super Taqueria it's my go to when I want a fast burrito that I enjoy. All the sites I've been to are pretty consistent but this particular store was horrible. I asked for no picco de gallo on my burrito and I heard the cook say "por que no" and started laughing as the guy who took my order politely told him not to put it on my burrito........... Skimpy on pretty much everything especially the sauce it normally comes with. He wasn't generous with any of the ingredients. Today being approx 16:45:58 hrs when I ordered 4 super tacos on the super taqueria located at 480 S 10th St, San Jose, CA 95112 for dinner after a very hard day of work the only thing one needs is to eat a delicious Food at peace with your family and do not expect to find a service of the worst kind, not for the employees but for a manager without experience who is not only a liar, and puts the owners of the locality in bad. Also lies to customers. Who has no idea what customer service means. This person named Delfino who when asked not only deny his name if he refuses to give the corporate number for the complaints that the customers have. Accuses people of false actions and the most outrageous of everything that this ruin your day as a customers who do not come to buy him, since he is only an employee, we come to buy the owner products of the taqueria. no to mention when you give a complain with grounds Does retaliation and instead of solving the problem by becomes stubborn and grotesque. The first taco reflects what have been serve to my order, the second what they served in the other location and the third was how I got my food to the table.
