Wish I lived closer so I could come back sooner. Lunch special is a mini pizza and side salad or cup of soup. Enjoyed everything and excited to have my leftovers later. (Gave 1 less star because the clam chowder was mostly broth but it was delicious)
This establishment is a Willow Glen mainstay, it has been around for a while and is known for their great wood fired pizzas. I had the luck to be invited to a special event to try out their new menu and drinks, it was a social event and we all had a lot of fun getting to know each other and enjoying the great food. The alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails were quite good, and I tried both. Of course It goes without saying that the pizza is great, they are known for that and it is the secret to their success. Even though they're known for their pizzas, their main menu has great pasta and gnocchi choices and the appetizers and salads are also great. The ambiance is very comfortable with wide front windows which let in plenty of light and a patio in front as well, the staff is very friendly and accommodating and I left with the impression of many smiles from the staff. If you're looking for a good Italian style pizza place as well as excellent Italian food, I don't think you can go wrong coming to this place - I've certainly been coming here for literally over a decade occasionally picking up a pizza. This place is highly recommended that's one of the go-to places for Italian food in San Jose.
I give this place 5 star for their food but 3 star on service only because they were slow. It took a while to get our drinks then we waited for the server to come and get our order and food took longer to prepare. Our waitress was nice but things just took a bit longer. Love the fact that their meat is Halal. We had a child with us and they gave him crayons and coloring paper which is thoughtful. We got a strawberry mocktail which was 👌🏻👌🏻 My steak salad was bomb! Highly recommend. My friends each liked their food and we shared pesto Cauliflower and wings as appetizers which were average in my opinion. Overall, we had a good time at this place and will most likely come back.
While looking for another pizzeria, I stumbled upon willow street pizza on a Thursday. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that they offered a daily special on lasagna and garlic bread on this day. Thus I took my doggos to go eat here. I was once again surprised to see they also offered a separate menu for doggos. I purchased for the doggos a 1/4 lb beef patty which they really enjoyed. The special was incredibly filling and once I had some crushed red peppers to eat with it was very good and more than I initially expected. Besides the special I also purchased a mini pizza and garlic fries from the happy hour menu. The mini pizza was a bit too much dough to toppings but was good. The fries though felt like a good value for their $4 price tag. Overall, willow street pizza is an excellent place to take doggos to and enjoy pasta and pizzas. I shall come back eventually.
First and foremost Ben made our night wonderful. While we’ve been to this location back when we were kids, and now we’re bringing our kids, and the food has been tasty each time, tonight, it was Ben. Non alcoholic beer, mocktail, cream ale, the calamari was good, the pastas were tasty, Gorgonzola salad was bomb….but again, after all of that, tonight…it was Ben. His communication, timing, friendliness, and care for us is what will bring us bank….it would be absolutely awesome if more dining liaisons were like Ben. Thx to him, bravo!
Got a Thai chicken pizza and salad ! I like the blend of eastern and western flavors here. Great pizza shop with wood fired pizza in the South Bay! Fun for groups and it has good vibes
We loved this place, the pizza was the best. We had a large group, but made reservations. They sat us easily and very accommodating to our needs. The servers all had smiles on their faces. The food and drinks were fast and the food was great. Restaurant was very comfortable to subtree in.
Aspen gives WSP 5 stars because of the doggie menu. She had the large portion of the hamburger patty and it was delicious! Cooked to perfectly and paired with a nice bowl of water. Yes, I did try it and it went well with my sparkling rose. The human menu is also very good. Try the happy hour. The veggie pizza, meat balls, and cocktails are the best value in San Jose. I only wish I could leave work early enough to make happy hour once per week.

Overall I had a great first experience and will definitely be back. Pretty good tap list of local beers. Atmosphere was nice, clean, and welcoming. The menu has a pretty good variety to accommodate most folks. Drinks took a bit to get to the table but the promptness of the food and the friendly staff more than made up for it.
Pizza, pasta and drinks! All are good. They give crayons and activity sheets for kids. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Vegetarian options available.
I loved the bacon and fig pizza. They also had a great selection of beer. Our server was very personable and attentive. Will totally visit again.
Loved the mini pizza options since I was not super hungry. If you are a shrimp lover, I highly recommend the pesto garlic shrimp pizza.

Update: 3 years later, came back for the pasta and chicken pita sandwich, pretty darn good! Ordered on a Monday at 4pm when they opened. No waiting line, ordered via phone and was ready to pick up in less than the estimated 20 min. Amicable staff. Was a bit disappointed with the size of the pizza for the price l. Was a little burnt but overall a good warm pizza (garlic chicken). Not much of a beer selection either. Presentation of the pizza pie was great.
This place is a nice spot but overall is plagued by one overshadowing problem: it’s too small. The bar area was really cramped, and much of the table seats are cramped up. I recommend a new table layout that promotes better movement around, in and out of tables. The bar had a great bartender, made a great martini. They also had a number of taps available and you could get a flight of beers. The menu has lots of things that were healthy, as well as some typical appetizers. I went for the Willow burger, which came on this pizza dough of a bun. I’ve never had that before and although tasty, I could not eat the whole dough, or, er, bun. You have to try this at least once! Another guest at our table had the mushroom pizza, which was great. It had mushrooms and onions and was baked perfectly for a thinner crust pizza. I’ll definitely go again to check out more of the menu, but maybe at a less busy time than dinner service to avoid being all cramped up in there.
I loved the honey bread and butter. Wife liked the linguine seafood, but would like it more if scallops or calamari was used instead of the salmon. Also, some of the clams had sand, but the taste was good. I enjoyed the combination pizza. Next time I will order my favorite vodka prawn fettuccine.

Was looking for a wood fire pizza place. Stumbled upon this one. They have good options for vegetarians and were very welcoming to accommodate any substitutions. But the vegetarian pesto pizza was definitely a delight. Would come back again. One less star since the pizza was very salty especially the base, usually not the case with most Italian restaurants I have been to.
Service and atmosphere is great but was disappointed with the food. We ordered the Chef's special starter, Grilled Peaches and Caprese and we only got three slices of peaches. The tomatoes weren't even the best quality. The pizza combination was good but the salami and pepperoni were a little too salty for my taste. The pizza is oven fire but I wish the cheese that is used was more Italian style like mozzarella or burrata. My son loved the kids pizza. I think for a family night it's okay. For the decor, I would prefer fresh plants over plastic. Gives a better atmosphere.
I went to this pizza place because I was so tired ahead of Thanksgiving Day. The reason was not to cook today for the sake of tomorrow. The female host who guided us to a small table, and we wanted an empty booth table. However, she said that a group would come a little later and that she would check and come back, but she apologized for walking around and coming back. In addition to pizza, we ordered chicken wings and a small pizza. As we started eating, a woman with her young son came to visit, and they were shown to seats for four. They ordered a pizza and the younger son started coloring. They started preparing group seating, and when we saw that they were making seats for about 8 people next to the seats of the mother and her young son, we decided to give her a minimal tip. These days, many restaurants in Northern California require an more 18% tip. I'll never forget she gave us a small table even though there were plenty of empty tables. No intention of revisiting at all. worst service.

We ordered Italian pizza and chicken parm. The pizza was VERY SALTY ! The sauce quality and ingredients were lacking. The chicken parm was okay but sauce could be better. The service was ans timing was good though.
Salad was good. Wings were good. Pizza was bleh. A "large" would be a medium anywhere else. It had almost no sauce, and was undercooked.

I was really looking forward to dining at Willow Street with my family, especially knowing that the meat was halal and that Chef Hisham was leading the kitchen. It is rare to find a restaurant that accommodates our dietary needs, and we came in excited to enjoy a good meal together. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. While the flavors were there, much of the food arrived cold or tasting as if it had been reheated. The wings were lukewarm and lacked freshness, the garlic fries were served completely cold, and both sandwiches we ordered, the Caprese BLT and the Pesto Chicken, were also cold when they hit the table. The burger was dry and cold. Even the grilled summer steak salad my daughter ordered came with steak that was not warm. For a restaurant under such capable leadership, I was surprised by the inconsistency in food temperature and quality. It made dishes that should have been standouts feel rushed and underwhelming. To add to this, we were a party of five adults and two infants, yet were charged a 20 percent gratuity. Normally, I would not mind this at all, as I am always happy to support hardworking servers, but in this case, both the food and service did not meet the mark to justify it. I truly hope this was just an off night because the foundation is there with the flavors, the halal offerings, and the reputation of the chef. With more attention to execution and service, this could be a restaurant we would happily return to. As it stands, it was a disappointing experience for a highly anticipated dinner.
We ordered two burgers from this place. Probably the worst experience ever and happened twice in a row. They messed up the entire order. They put no cheese on one burger, and 2 types of cheese on the other. The food quality was quite poor. I talked to their manager the first time and they convinced us it’s been a mistake. The second time was worst. Highly recommend not to order food from this place
We ordered twice from here through Uber Eats. By faaaar, lower quality than their Los Gatos branch. We’ve been at their Los Gatos branch many many times ordering always the burger. The quality of meet, bacon, the amount of blue cheese, the way they cook the onion, the fries, everything is by far lower. @Hisham, it’s not good for your reputation. We want the same quality everywhere.
