Mely’s Cafe

I had the pleasure of visiting Mely's one morning in the beginning of May this year. Their service was above and beyond. I was impressed to see an employee take the time to help an elderly man get his food out to his car. That same employee also did a great job sanitizing whenever appropriate, and was so helpful in every way I might hope for. All this alone would often be enough to get me to return to a place like this to try it again, but when I tasted the food, I resolved to return any time I am in the area. I love this place. I ordered the Californian Frittata, and I was blown away with the dish. Fresh and perfectly ripe fruit, frittata made exactly as I wanted and absolutely delectable, and portion sizes to feed me for at least two meals. I cannot wait to try other things on the menu. I'd give 6 stars if I could!

Excellent lunch! Tomato tartine: Rosted tomato and basil. Excellent service, clean and awesome. High quality ingredients that makes a very unique experience. I will be back as much as I can before they get the fancy place they deserve.

Generous portions, great and very tasty food. Homemade sausage that is like the store bought but has a much better taste. The roasted tomatoes as a side were so good and a much needed break from the traditional hash browns that they also offer. I WILL be back. By the way, watch the videos of their food to get a better idea of what you want - all real pictures of their food.

We came for breakfast place wasnt busy and The food is cooked with love and we enjoyed every bite. Very cozy feeling. Will definitely be coming back to try their lunch options as my wife loves pasta. Portion sizes were perfect.

Awesome food and service tucked in a strip mall. Don’t sleep on this place. I had a turkey and avocado sandwich with the best side salad. Hubby had original Benedict (and they have like 7 to chose from) with coffee and fresh squeezed and cold OJ

Delicious breakfast choice! Will definitely come back to try other options. The California frittata was so beautifully presented, very tasty and loaded with veggies. We also tried the roasted tomatoes with a side of scrambled eggs and were very impressed.

Mely’s Cafe never disappoints, excellent service and even better food. Everything is made cook to order. Fresh and hot. I love going there with my family or just a a nice time out away from reality. The owner is almost always there, he’s very attentive. This is the best pasta and breakfast place I have tried so far around this area. Would 100% recommend. ☺️☺️

My partner and I tried this croissants and their fettuccine salmon. Both were amazing dishes like bro, I would come back and bring my parents. Support your family owned businesses everyone. This place is known for their breakfast items, but dayum their lunch/dinner food was great.

It's one of San Pablos' hidden gems. I've been here a few times, and literally every dish has been great. The prices here are very low for the amazing taste and level of presentation. Great service too!

Amazing fresh food and great service. I had the Carne Asada frittata , my son had the chocolate chip pancakes, and my other son because he’s not much of a breakfast person, was able to order fusilli pasta with sausage that was out of this world. Everything was top notch including the coffee. This just became a regular spot for us!

Took our children and had a great experience. Staff was so kind and gave wonderful service. The food was wonderful and reasonably priced.

Casual and delicious. We stopped in for dinner on our way home from a trip. This a surprise of a lovely in a strip mall center. Like other reviews sad, don’t let that keep you away. The service was so friendly and helpful. The chef was very friendly and kind. Making a lovely meal for me when he was out of what I had ordered. Very friendly atmosphere and delicious food. Absolutely delicious! The menu has fantastic options. I tried brunch and loved it, and I can’t wait to come back for brunch again. I’m also excited to try lunch and dinner. I eat vegetarian, my partner is a meat water...we both totally recommend.

Pancakes are delicious thick bacon is plus and the hash brown are very crispy. Great quality food nothing amazing just ok.

I ordered huevos rancheros and asked for pico on the side. They accidentally put it on top which was fine and I asked they remove it. I watched as a cook without gloves scrapped the toppings off with his bare hands. I let the waitress know and I watched as the entire time we waited for the check that he proceeded to make salads arrange fruit with his barehands. I was really disappointed because the food looked good and the staff were polite. They definitely need a visit from the health inspector.

They do not wear gloves when making your food. The main cook wore gloves but the line cook who makes salads etc. fully prepares food with no gloves. I saw him make countless things after we let the waitress know he HAS to wear gloves when making ready to eat food. The service was nice but not enough to listen to food safety concerns. Please do not come here.
