I wanted to give this place a try and overall it didn't disappoint! I would recommend this place for their deep dish pizza. From the sauce to the cheese and then toppings. All was tasty and fresh. Service was top notch even if one has to put their order in at the counter. Adult beverages are available and parking looked to be ample but I did walk.
Here you can try one the best pizzas you ever had! Believe me! Thanks to them, very great atmosphere, good quality food and what else?! Oh yeah, great customer service! Enjoy!
Clean, even smells clean, not musty, brightly lit with light in the eating areas running around 2700 nanometers, or warm, yellowish colors. 5000 nanometer is super bright and a harsh UNINVITING blueish. 5000 is what you see in hospitals because you need to see well. In the kitchen 5000 is best for the cooking crew. The only problem with your store location is that 5000 nm bleeds into the inviting areas. Please shield the kitchen light from your dinning area better and might get more customers eating in. The visitors waiting for their take out will see how nice it is and probably consider eating in next time which would have been more food ordered, not just 1 pizza, even some beer ! Can you say $$$$ ! Yellow light is like sitting next to a fireplace or fire pit that’s warm and welcoming……even a fake fireplace on a 32” TV inside a fake fireplace place In a heated area would work…YouTube fireplaces! It’s for real. I’m not kidding. Best to you. Stay Chicago. See you real soon. 2700 nm boss. Trust me. Watch it happen.
Deep dish pizza awaits you at Pizza Chicago. This is the kind of place that feels familiar the moment you walk in, especially when it has been part of your family’s routine for years. My family comes here every holiday season, and there are plenty of reasons why. The service is exceptional, and the staff genuinely makes sure everyone is there to enjoy a good dinner, not just rush through a meal. The pizza is consistently great, and we usually go straight for the Deep Dish Combo, though there are solid options for anyone not looking for a full commitment. I also love their desserts, which always feel like the right way to end the meal. The location is another plus, since it is not in downtown San Jose but still central to everything, with ample parking that makes the visit easy. This is one of those places where the experience matters just as much as the food. The pizza may be exceptional, but it is everything else that has turned this spot into a lasting family tradition.
The food was absolutely exceptional – some of the best pizza I’ve had in a long time. Everything was fresh, and full of flavor. I’ll definitely be ordering from here again and happily support this business. My only suggestion would be to add a tamper-evident seal or sticker on the delivery boxes. It would give an extra layer of reassurance for food safety and hygiene during transport (especially helpful for delivery and pick-up orders). Great job overall – keep it up!
We found this Italian restaurant completely by accident! The food was absolutely delicious and the quality was impressive. The Chicago deep dish and the Papa Bear sandwich were soooo good! Our waiter was very polite and Kind, and gave us fast, attentive service. We were all so happy to discover this place. Highly recommend!
This is my go-to deep dish pizza spot! We ordered Southsider (our usual!) and tried their new Maxwell Street Asada and both were delicious and prepared within 30 minutes of ordering online. Taste and service are consistent every time. Dining in is also smooth, as there is plenty of seating, both indoor and outdoors.
Light and airy crust, fresh gooey cheese, fresh light sauce! Great pizza quality toppings. We got the Al Bundy which was feta, garlic, sun dried tomatoes! Yum! Absolutely delicious. We also ordered one with a combination of meat which was very filling, good thick cuts of pepperoni and delicious fresh ham and sausage. The plain cheese had such a light and fluffy quality, the cheese pull looked so good it was almost like a Disney cartoon. But the cheese was not chewy it was soft and airy! Honestly my new favorite spot!
I’ve patronized this business on numerous occasions and I must say I am genuinely impressed. The food and service have always been on point, the customer service and interactions ensuring you get the best experience possible. Every time I’ve been here the food has always been out in a timely fashion with the food just right. Not too high, not too low, just right. The environment is small and cozy with ample seating and music playing, really bringing the experience together. Outdoors seating is also a viable if you want to enjoy an evening having a slice of pizza watching the sunset with a group of friends and family.
What a cool little place! You feel like you’re in a different world! It’s a small pizza parlor just off the El Camino Real in Santa Clara, California. It was walking distance from our Best Western hotel. Deep dish Chicago style pizza. The waiters are hipsters! One of them reminded me of a young Al Pacino. We were celebrating a friend’s birthday and got the dessert called “Sweetness“ which is basically a freshly baked cookie with ice cream and whipped cream on top. I loved the decor! The only thing I was a little disappointed in, is that they did not have the Chicago neon sign turned on.
I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good deep dish pizza. They have a halal option for most pizzas (chicken, beef, etc.), but you need to ask for it to be halal. They also have plenty of vegetarian options. My husband and I ordered two large pizzas. The first was the "Rush Hour" pizza, and the second was half "Blackhawk" and half "Great Chicago Fire". Both pizzas were great, portion sizes were so big, we ended up taking most of it home with us. The service was excellent, and the decor is also really nice. If you call ahead with your order, the wait for the pizza is shorter. Overall, I highly recommend this place.
The pizza was delicious. We ordered two medium pizzas and made each one half and half, so we got to try four different flavors. All of them were amazing. We also ordered the buffalo wings, which were very tasty but quite spicy, so be careful if you do not like too much heat. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely come back.
Amazing pan pizza! It's not deep dish like Giordano's because the pizza was lighter and fluffier, without cheese sandwiched in the middle like a pie, but honestly I might prefer this lighter version better. The crust was amazingly crispy and the cheese was flavorful. I love that you can customize with minimal cost too.
Its was tiny but interesting cafe. They tried to manage Chicago mood by every aspect. Food was good. We had garlic bread as an appetiser and it was good. The bread was sourdough and olive oil, chopped garlic and some herbs, it came with marinara which was savoury. Another we had pizza in vegetarian section which was Greektown and it was really really good. I wish the pan was clean, that was my only concern there. Otherwise everything was okay.
Chicago retro style interior. Screwed on old pictures covering the walls. Pizza styles are really interesting. Not sure if it’s being a truly deep dish, however, very thick with lots of dough, that unfortunately came raw (the dough inside was sticky and tasted raw). Ask about the draft beer being fresh. Kona (amber ale) we’ve ordered was bitter on taste. Stella (lager) was excellent though. Promised apology discount was offered, but never applied to the final bill.
They charge a 3% credit card fee. I think that’s completely fair that businesses pass this fee on to those that are paying, but 3% is higher than most banks charge businesses. If you don’t like that, then just use debit, right? Wrong. They don’t take debit. Seems like just a way to squeeze a little bit of profit out of everyone. I love Chicago style pizza, but this is my first and last time here.
Food is great but the staff and service is unprofessional and awful. Firstly, they took a lot of time to provide the menus after getting us seated. Next, the server didn’t take our order properly and cancelled all our drinks, when instead we had asked to cancel only one of them. We had requested a create your own pineapple pizza (vegetarian). They instead baked a pepperoni pizza. The server realized the mistake as soon as he brought it to our table and offered to bake a new one. But then they quickly brought out the same pizza after replacing some pepperoni and loading it with pineapple. We however spotted the pepperoni, and so decided to cancel the order. This was quite unprofessional. The coke was also very flat.
