Solid place for good sushi rolls (although their rice can be hit or miss) and standard Japanese fare. Their sushi roll menu is extensive but well organized by ingredient, which makes it easier to figure out than most other places. The tori paitan (ramen) is on their new menu--delicious! Service is always excellent, and the restaurant itself is clean and pleasant. The parking lot is a planning disaster, but that is not their fault. Great choice for food in the neighborhood!

My wife and I have tried many sushi spots, but this is by far our favorite. The Otoro melts in your mouth, and the Uni is always fresh. I normally order the Sashimi platter, but lately I've been getting the Nigiri. My wife orders the Spicy Tuna or Salmon handroll. We always sit at the bar, I like to see the chefs doing their thing, and sometimes we share some sake. This place hasn't failed us yet. We've been coming for about 5 years.

Our favorite casual sushi restaurant! Toro is soooo delicious, melts in your mouth! Comes in 5 piece appetizer serving but you can order 2 sets to have as a meal. They're pretty good sized servings. Cooked Black Cod dish is really good too. Advising against rolls though. But I always advise against rolls so... Service is always excellent. Staff are so friendly and kind.

Been here a couple times and the sashimi is always fresh. Service is great. Gets a bit loud during meal times, especially when it's packed. But if you get there a bit earlier or later than the meal rush, it's an amazing intimate and quality food experience. The dinner combination meal has often been quite worth it for me. Portion size is good!

Clean. Delicious food. Nice decorations and atmosphere. Very good service. They don't have Sushi and sashimi combo.. but you can make a combination yourself at a separate pricing. The best edamame I've had in a long time.

Food: superb fish quality~ nice, thick pieces of fish. Great texture, great flavor, very fresh. They also had fresh Wasabi that I had never tried before, so it was very cool to be exposed to this as an experience. See photos of food. Service: timely and kind (especially for a Friday night). Attentive, very kind and experience-oriented. The staff were happy to answer our questions. My husband and I very much appreciated this about the culture. It showed patience and attentiveness, and allowed us to enjoy our date night. Atmosphere: lively yet not annoyingly loud, full but not crammed. Contemporary music that was enjoyable. We did run up about a $200 bill, but that was because we got a hugeeee plate of sashimi, two rolls, two appetizers, and a bottle of sake. It's totally affordable if you don't splurge like we did. Highest compliments to this establishment!

Wish they had a 15pc version of this on the menu -15pc Sashimi Combo, we choose Hamachi, Tuna, Salmon, it's always fresh every single time -Gourmet Combo, we choose the Black Cod & Beef=tastes so decadent and amazing -Bentos; we choose Tonkatsu & Tempura (delicious, fried in new oil not old brown oil) + Hamachi sashimi=super fresh -Rolls; Randy, Rocky, Spider Advising to AVOID; *Toro Kani as the toro under the balsamic glaze wasn't fresh at all *Any of the "Fire" rolls as they aren't tasty in the least, you just taste the spicy red sauce and that's it This is our favorite sushi restaurant in Santa Clara. While a couple of rolls weren't satisfactory the rest of the menu we've had (been here at least 8x so far) were delicious so can't knock any stars off. Also sashimi in Hawaii is the best but for mainland this restaurant is still excellent unless you're in the mood to battle driving round trip to SF :/ Excellent staff and service and a clean, hygienic, nicely decorated restaurant. They've changed owners almost 2 years ago so food and service are now exceptional, last owners and staff were unfavorable.

Delicious food, impeccable service, and median prices. Had the orange blossom, tempura mix, miso soup, hot tea. This is my favorite place as I can always count on good food made properly and decent prices. They were there for me during lockdown and I return often. Highly Recommend.
