Maggi was very flavorful unlike what you make with 2 minute maggi. Paneer sandwich was also very good, better than any place I have had in the bay area. Would definitely recommend the place. Only con is food is quite pricey for the quantity.
I absolutely loved their tea n sandwiches. Very reasonable prices, also great customer sevice!
Best hangout place in Bay Area, where you can play games like carrom, cards and enjoy chai with parle g or goodday or bun maskas. They have a variety of Maggi, sandwiches and refreshers to go with it. My favs were Ketli Maggi, tandoori paneer and veggie cheese sandwich and Nutella bun maska. Also enjoyed gur wali chai with parle g . This place also has a lot of parking
Overall a place that reminds us of Indian street food. We can hangout with friends , play carroms or uno . The place reminds of various stalls in Bangalore and Hyderabad where we go out of office to have a quick tea or maggi and it makes you feel nostalgic Food is good. Liked ketli chai, ketli sandwich and aloo bun maska. And you can’t do much wrong with maggi
Great place for Chai and snacks. Tried the Ketli Sandwich (A loaded combination of Paneer, Potatoes, Corn, etc) a long with the Ginger/Elaichi tea and Aloo Bun Maska. Great taste and a cozy seating area with Carrom and Uno as game options. Would recommend warm clothes if you plan to visit at night. Place is open until 1am.
What a treat! We discovered this place recently on social media and had to try it. Went here late night and it was still crowded. They have a long menu of food and drinks. The two Chai we tried were amazing. Gives the vibe of the 'Tapari Chai'. They even have a Carrom board to play. Only downside I found is the parking. It can be tricky to find and park.
Ketli Chai is a must try. I saw everyone ordering the elachi, but the Ketli is a nice chai blend with floral hints of badaam milk and saffron (maybe). I also had the Ketli maggi which is very spicy! 🥵 But I finished that. The cheese was a nice touch. Lastly the roohafza is so good I drank most of it before taking a pic. The best refresher anytime but esp during Ramadan. The Carrom board is nice, very back home style. I can't wait to visit again. They should do a Mexican fusion with the la familia next door.
I had a great experience at Ketli Chai! I tried their Maggi and Jam Bun Maska, and both were delicious. The Maggi had perfect flavor and warmth—comfort food done right. The Jam Bun Maska was soft, buttery, and nostalgic, just the way it should be. Along with their signature chai, it made for a perfect snack break. Definitely a cozy spot to enjoy good food and relax!
Landed in San Jose and this was the first food truck we hit of many. Was pretty surprised to see that it was busy at 10:30 pm. Got one table and then went to order the food. Ordered kesar chai, ginger chai, veg sandwiches, amul maggi , bun maska. After having a bite of veg sandwich, we just fest the nostalgia and felt that we were back to Chandigarh sec 22 eating the veg sandwich. It was reminiscent of what we used to eat. The taste and quality of any item we tried didn’t disappoint. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is craving for that street side food in Chandigarh or NCR.
Midnight Maggi never tasted this good! We visited the Ketli food truck during our recent trip to Mountain View and had a great time sampling their variety of Maggi and sandwiches. The flavors were nostalgic and satisfying. The vibe at night is lively and fun, with games to play while you wait for your order. A cozy and casual spot to hang out and enjoy comfort food under the stars.
Best place in the Bay Area for Maggi, bun muska, street style Indian food, Service is quick and easy. Highly recommend this for quick snack or take away. Food tastes delicious and does have few seating spots too.
I'd be broke if I lived closeby to this place! We went looking for chai but were mind blown by the food. The paneer bhurji with the properly toasted bread..writing about it is making my mouth water. You should definitely try it. And the bun maska, literally melted in the mouth(not exaggerating!!) Chai was pretty good too. They have fun games outside and overall it's a nice place to hangout and fill your tummy with yummy food 😋

Everytime we’re in SF or San Jose, I make my hubby go and pick up from Ketli chai!! Lovveeee the vibes and the food is soooo yummy. Maggi is bombbbbb! And the maska and Nutella bun are soooo yummy!! I love this place!
The Ketli Chai has been our staple for Late Night Eats. My Wife and I took our parents for some yummy Parathas, Maggi and Chai - all amazing, fresh and tasty. Shoutout and special mention to Inder and Jasmeet who made our night extra special with terrific service, recommendation, food and conversation. Keep up with the great taste and quality guys. We will be back again soon :) Recommendations - Aloo/Paneer Paratha with Dahi (Yogurt) Spicy Veggie Maggie with Amul cheese Veggie Maggie Ginger Chai
This food truck is such a gem! The chai was soooo good — super cozy and flavorful. Bun maska was soft and buttery, and the paneer sandwich was legit delicious. Loved the chill vibe, and the carrom board was a fun touch. Great spot to grab some tasty food and just hang out. Definitely coming back for more!
Pretty cool place, found it by chance and am glad! Had their dalgona coffee that was awesome, next trip is Maggi and some of the other snack items. Can't wait to go back. Pure vegetarian fare.

Good food, good vibe, didn’t disappoint! Here are the few items we ordered: Masala chai - 4/5 Ginger chai - 4.5/5 Chai and Parle-G was a great vibe! Cold coffee - 5/5 Maggi - 5/5 Sandwiches were also nice, I liked tandoori paneer Also had games like Jenga and Carom. This place has a good parking space Highly recommend!
I was thrilled to discover this food truck a few months ago. It quickly gained popularity through Instagram ads and word of mouth, prompting a move from Sunnyvale to Santa Clara. As a vegan, I was delighted to find they offer vegan chai, which I've enjoyed on multiple occasions. Their menu features a variety of popular Indian snacks like Maggi, sandwiches, and Bun Maska. We tried the grilled masala sandwich, which I'd rate a 4 out of 5!
The first time I visited this place, I was quite skeptical because the entire menu was filled with maggi or sandwiches. However, the people working there recommended that I try the Keli maggi noodles, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise. The noodles were hot, flavorful, and satisfying, and I really enjoyed them. I also tried the jam bun maska, which was outstanding. I got lucky with my choices because everything was pretty good. On my next visit, I ordered the tandoori noodles again, which were okay, and once more, I had the bun maska. I also enjoyed their virgin mojito and loved the vibe of the place and the friendly people there. I definitely recommend this spot, and next time, I plan to try the sandwiches for sure!
Chai was refreshing and bun maska pan was very nice. It’s a little too sweet for my taste but who counts sugar when having Maska pav😝. Shev pav was okay. It’s just Shhezwan chutney with some nylon sev. Would not recommend.
Nice chai spot in Bay area. They have many quick eats and beverages to choose. Also, they have carrom board, uno and other card games to play while you eat. We tried their Ketli sandwich, veggie Maggi, saffron chai and variety of bun maska. Ketli Sandwich,Saffron chai with bun maska tasted great. Maggi was good but wasn’t that great for the bucks. Overall, perfect spot to hangout with friends and open late night till 2 AM too.
The ketli chai is a must must try! The veggie cheese sandwich was good and Tandoori Paneer was quite flavor full. I would highly recommend the chef to add a little more salt to the Tandoori Paneer Sandwich to make it next level btasty!!!

Tandoori Maggi - the tandoori sauce is kinda sweet but overall good. Ketli maggi hit the spot, slightly spicy though. Ginger tea and maska chaska salted is outstanding. Aloo sev bun very bland.

Bun maska, chai and ketle maggi were great. Paneer and aloo sandwiches were ok. Service is just ok - they forgot to call us when our order was all ready. Atmosphere was nice - carrom was fun. However, the weather was cold and windy.
We loved the vibe and the service was friendly. We had ordered the most basic two items, Masala Thumbsup and Masala Maggie and both fell just tad bit short of perfect and then you wonder how can one fall short. Masala Maggie had extra masala and that made it salty. The Thumbs Up was flat and could use mint, soda and Lemon to perk it up. Would I go again, absolutely! I am sure these little things can be fixed. I look forward to my next visit.
I recently visited Ketli Chai, intrigued by its reputation for exceptional chai. However, I left with mixed feelings. While the ambiance and service were commendable, the chai, touted as their specialty, fell short of expectations. Despite the disappointment in the chai department, the staff member who took our order was informative and attentive, adding a positive note to the experience. The late-night ambiance, complete with opportunities to play Carrom, creates an inviting atmosphere for chilling out. While I may not return specifically for the chai, Ketli Chai still holds potential as a spot for late-night relaxation and camaraderie.
The chai felt watered down and was not at all good. We had the Kesar chai and bun maska. Bun maska was decent but Kesar chai was a huge let down. The prices are on the higher side too compared to other tea spots in the Bay.

The food was very okay. Masala maggi was watery and because of that the test was bland. The tea was also okay. Overall the food was not flavorful but the place had great vibe. I waited for maggie and chai for literally 35-40 mins
Order ahead! We waited around 40 minutes after ordering to get our food. The food itself is pretty nice though. I wasn't the biggest fan of their maggi but their sandwiches were very good. Go for it only if there's a short wait.

Visited Ketli Chai with high expectations, especially being a noodle and chai lover. The Kesar Chai was the highlight—fragrant, well-balanced, and truly enjoyable. If you’re dropping by just for chai, that might still be worth your time. However, the rest of the menu, particularly the Maggi-based dishes, was a letdown. The taste didn’t live up to the hype, and the pricing felt unjustified for what is essentially an instant noodle dish with minimal additions. You’re better off skipping those unless they revamp the flavors and portion sizes. Overall, it’s a mixed bag: good chai, but not enough to compensate for the underwhelming food and value.

The masala chai was pretty bad and had a weird aftertaste. The cup was really flimsy. After a few sips the top suddenly popped off and spilled all over the front of my shirt. The staff are pleasant and the seating area is nice, but that's about it.

DO NOT GO HERE One of the most horrible food trucks. They don’t even know how to make maggi. We got masala maggi- it was dry and not even cookd properly. We also paneer sandwich- again to dry. Paneer mixture was bland and was falling apart. The area had so much dust, and it was in the food too. Not a good location for food.
I generally don't give bad review but you have forced me to post one... this place is a total rip off... everyone should be behind bars! Masala maggi was just the same as I can get in grocery store... why should I pay $9.50 for this??? Spicy masala maggi was the same as masala maggi with some chilli flakes sprinkled at the top... how can this make it as a separate dish in your menu? How can you charge $1.50 more to $11? Can't you just keep the chilli flakes outside and let people use it? Chai was yucky just like hot water with pinch of masala
Avoid this place. The line of 10 people took over 30 minutes to order, and it took 45+ minutes to receive our order. - Despite ordering hot coffee without sugar, it was served with five times more sugar, tasting more like simple syrup than coffee—1/10. - The bun maska is the worst; who grills the bun in bun maska?—0/10. - The only good thing is the Maggie, as it's hard to go wrong with it. However, the price is $10, which is 10 times higher than the original price for the same taste—4/10. There is not enough parking or seating area. They should collaborate with Shahi Chat for combined seating. Additionally, there were no dustbins, and Shahi Chat did not allow the use of their bins.
Very disappointed with the food. They didn’t add anything special to the Maggie. It was just like packet bought, nothing special. I could make that myself why spend money and get disappointed. Mango lassi was genuinely horrible. Expected so much from here.
I finally tried the “amazing” bun maska that everyone keeps talking about. When I got it, I honestly had to confirm if this was the actual item and if they forgot something. It looked very plain and not appealing at all. After tasting it, I was hoping it would be better than it looked but unfortunately, it wasn’t. Overall, it was pretty disappointing. And as always - I think anyone can make this.
