SizzlinGogi is a fun, popular Korean BBQ spot known for its all-you-can-eat grill and friendly service, especially from server Kayla. Customers rave about the beef bulgogi and variety of meats. Expect a wait, especially on weekends, and loud music.

This place is the best Korean Bbq spots. I’ve been to a few others and nothing beats this and it close to where I live. Great service! The wait can be long depending on when to go but it’s totally worth it!
Fun place to go with friends for food and drinks. You cook your own food! 👍
Excellent Korean food, friendly and professional staff. Just as good or better than in Korea.
A good place to have Korean BBQ. The price is very reasonable, as long as you don’t waste food, you can pretty much fill up your tummy with all the meat (pork belly/beef/chicken) available. We had a very good deal for 2 persons. The waitress was very helpful and we appreciated her service.
I have had the pleasure of being served by Kayla at Sizzlin Gogi Korean BBQ multiple times, and each experience has been exceptional. From the moment we’re seated, Kayla’s warm and friendly demeanor makes us feel like family. Not only does she remember us by name, but she also takes the time to remember our preferences, which adds such a personal touch to every visit. Her professionalism is evident as she balances attentiveness and efficiency, ensuring that we have everything we need while also letting us enjoy our meal at our own pace. Kayla’s positive attitude and genuine care truly elevate the dining experience. She consistently goes above and beyond, making every meal at Sizzlin Gogi feel special. Highly recommend her service if you're looking for a memorable and enjoyable dining experience!
My wife and I had an incredible experience at SizzlinGogi, and a huge part of that was thanks to our amazing server, Kayla! From the moment we sat down, she made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Her attention to detail and knowledge of the menu really enhanced our meal—she was quick to offer recommendations and explained the grilling process with such patience and enthusiasm. Not only did she keep our table stocked with everything we needed, but she also made sure we were having the best possible experience throughout our meal. Kayla’s friendly and professional service truly elevated the dining experience, and we’ll definitely be coming back because of her. Highly recommend this place! Five stars all the way!
Food was great but the service was even better. Shout out to manager i didnt get his name but very friendly and accommodating made us feel at home. we decided to go with choice c its the most expensive choice but we got to try the more high end meats. Only picture we got was the aftermath which is a big compliment..
Fun and delicious Korean barbecue restaurant. All my experiences have been based on the all you can eat grill at the table menu, but I imagine the quality of all the dishes is lovely. As you finish 3 choices at a time they bring you more. Often we just get menu A and eat tons of beef bulgogi; which is rich, well marinated, and fast cooking. Rice, kimchi, pickles and condiments are bottomless too, just ask your server to craft your perfect bites. Worth every penny if you're hungry and a great experience and atmosphere from the staff and cooks. The music can be a little loud but it's never been too disruptive, especially with all the grill sounds and buzzy vibes.
Never had been to a Korean bbq place before. You put your name in at the front and get a little buzzer square. You can take it to your car and wait. Usually quoted 45min- 1 hour for wait but goes quicker. A lot of tables in the restaurant. You will get a table full of different side dishes. (Kimchi, pickled cucumber, etc). The server will bring bowls of rice for each person. Tell your server what meats you want and they bring out a platter full. The beef brisket is thin sliced and a must! The spicy beef bulgogi is really good as well. If you get the pork belly, you have to leave it on the grill for a while in order to get it a little crisped up. Spicy chicken was tasty. Not extremely spicy. We learned on round 2 for meat to slice it up in small chunks. Cooked through quicker. The more you know, ha.
Went with 2 of the B options. The thick cut prok belly was delicious. The surprise hit was the tri tip, tender and flavorful with no seasoning needed. Clean and roomy dining area. We were seated near the entrance but still had loads of leg room and a large table to ourselves. A large platter of pickled sides and dipping sauces are given while placing a initial order. All meats are brought out on separate plates to avoid cross contamination, the server's also swap out the dirty grills with every new order of meat. Local wines 🍷 from Rancho Sisquoc in the Santa Maria area are stocked and served.
It’s pretty good and quite pricey. But since it’s the only Korean BBQ in town, I’d recommend it.
We had tons of different meats, and I’d say they were all pretty good. We got the B course for around 36 bucks without tip. The meats available for b course were good and if you can eat a lot then you’ll definitely get your moneys worth. service was good as the waiter helped us out with determining when the meats were ready. So overall, it’s a solid 4.
When you arrive, the music is excellent while you wait for your table, great variety and quality of ingredients to make your dishes. Enjoy the experience cooking with your partner family or friends, be careful with children, do not get too close to the grill... Variety of Drinks, no parking problems... (100 dlls Approx x 2 people).
The wait time on Friday night was very long. Once seated the experience was fun and the food was tasty. Only wine and soju as far as booze. Decent selection of local wines. This place is insanely loud and the music is pretty horrible club style jams. About $20 per person for the "A" course all you can eat no takeout no doggy bagging it. Definitely will be back...
First time guest at this dinning establishment. Friendly staff. Building is outdate and in need of an entire renovation. Decor inside is outdate and in need of a cleaning. Quirky restroom set up. Restaurant has a common, exposed to guests hand wash station outside restroom. Good buss model (an actual unique experience): guests get to cook their own meats in an open flame bbq grill in middle of table. Cooking my own food was the only interesting event during my visit. Our party had 4 guests and our server took a very long time (15 mins)to bring out a second serving of salad (not acceptable). Since gas is used to cook food; a hint of the fuel's aroma is left lingering in the food. This is a restaurant to visit only to experience a 'dive' but at $31.00 cost per person (including a 10% tip and all four of us drinking water) this restaurant is not worth visiting. (The day after visiting this establishment my same party of 4 visited the Cheesecake Factory and ate at a cost of $28.00 per person-with excellent service and delicious food).
Welcome to another joke of an Asian restaurant in this area. God knows how they got 4.5 stars(those who know, know haha). ∆ Short review: Poor quality food and service. The picture I posted is of "spicy pork belly" which pretty much sums up the place. Was expecting marinaded pork belly but instead got boiled and soggy pork belly in an aluminum tray with terrible sauce or whatever it was. Overpriced. ∆ Long review: [ Food quality ] First off, their all you can eat kbbq menu is formatted quite strangely, in increments of $30, 35, 40. Because the upper levels are supposedly premium items but spicy tofu soup and marinated chicken is in the upper level? I don't understand why that would be valued over beef. Speaking of beef, it's the worst quality I've ever had at a kbbq, and I don't have high expectations for all you can eat beef. I mainly ordered bulgogi because it masked the terrible quality. [ Service ] Now for their service, they clearly don't know what they're doing. They were mostly in their mid twenties, so not even highschoolers with their first job or anything, yet they lacked basic serving skills. - They frequently walked by when I was raising my hand. - Turned the burner down without explaining why when we kept turning it up because it cooked too slow and was wasting our time(there's a two hour limit for all you can eat and they did this about 10 times). - Placed a large dish full of raw meat on another bowl that had food inside because lack of table space... Seriously. It was clearly unstable and simply a weird thing to do. Plus, there were definitely other ways to make space. - Don't turn on fans above us even though there was clearly too much smoke. And keep in mind there are a lot of tables also cooking in close proximity. About the only good thing about this place is decent interior? But still terrible for a Korean restaurant.
