The food was some of the best Italian food and dessert I’ve had and the service was great I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area, it is definitely worth it to stop by for dinner!
Tonite was Amazing at Grappolo!! Chief Arturo and his crew did a perfect job tonite!! Our waiter was provided a great service!! Thanks Veronica for being nice to my family!! Highly recommended!!
I went there without a reservation and set at the bar. The staff was really efficient and nice. The food was amazing! I am Italian born and raised and crave a lot for a good Italian authentic restaurant. This was delicious! I had the Roman crostini, which are rich and buttery but really tasty. I also had octopus carpaccio which was delicious! Fresh, tender octopus and delicious rucola salad on top. I highly recommend eating there! 5 on 5 ⭐️ for me!
Wonderful and friendly Italian restaurant. My husband and I have been coming here for a few years now. I especially love the pizza, the cotoletta milanese, and the desserts (all of them are amazing, but the flourless chocolate cake is my favorite!). And I had my first Affogato here (which is vanilla gelato with espresso and whipped cream), it was amazing. The atmosphere is lovely, the service is outstanding. Highly recommend! P.S. The parking is free and super easy.
We've been several times now. Daniel is running a great operation here. Exceptional pizza, pasta, and very good wine list representing Italian and local wines. Very good service rounds out a fantastic evening.
As always everything was great! The food is delicious, excellent service, I love this place, I drive from Los Angeles just to eat here, for the past 6 years this continues to be my favorite place .
This place was amazing. First trip for me and wife since you know, everything happened. App pizza bruschetta, could have ordered 5 of it. The wife had the fettuccine w/broccoli garlic olive oil, too die for. Sausage and beans you would think not so great, but I knew and heard from recommendations, just try it. Yup that delicious. There was not one moment of our dinner that wasn’t amazing. Good for this place and if you are in the area don’t miss out on this spot.
I ordered the fettuccine alfredo, veal with brandy sauce, and for desert the pena cotta. The fettuccine alfredo was to die for. I couldn't believe just was delicious it was. The pena cotta was very good too. The veal and brandy sauce was not quite what I was expecting, although it had good flavor. The atmosphere felt like a small town feel, very quaint. Every staff member looked like they enjoyed serving and were very pleasant. The prices on google are deceiving, I would give this restaurant $$$ or $$$$ as you will look to spend $30+ a person after drinks.

Grappolo in Santa Ynez is a true gem. The food is amazing — bar none, the best ravioli we have ever had. The special pumpkin ravioli was out of this world — we can’t stop talking about it and will probably be dreaming about this dish for the next week. You have to try it! We also had the lemon caper sole, which was equally delicious and perfectly prepared. As self-proclaimed foodies, our expectations were high, but Grapolo far exceeded every one of them. Our server Eric made the evening even more memorable with his warm and attentive service. The quaint ambiance transported us straight to Tuscany — it felt like dining at a family-run hillside restaurant, authentic and second to none. We will absolutely be back — no matter what. Grapolo is a must-visit in Santa Ynez!
Been going to Grappolo for almost 20 years just can't go wrong. Love being able to still introduce family and friends to it

First time here and it was a great experience over all, food was great service was prompt and very welcoming. Definitely worth a try!
The service was really great, the waiter was very kind and how ever the food was a little underwhelming, the complimentary bread was dry and a little hard we got a dish that had oysters and they tasted like cow dung. But it was a good experience, I would recommend the pizza I got it was freshly cooked and had a great flavor. Not only that but the dessert was some of the best i had in a long time. Personally I would recommend the flour less chocolate cake it melts in your mouth and leaves and lovely after taste.
While I think they offer great value for Italian food in the area. I am not too impressed by their pasta dishes. On our dinner we ordered 2 pizzas as appetizers, and they were great with perfect crust and just the right amount of toppings. On the other hand the 3 pasta dishes, ravioli, lasagna, and gnocchi all house made are just ok. Their take on ravioli looked more like an over size and over stuffed Chinese dumpling filler with 99% Spanish cover by a very thin pasta sheet. Their lasagna is a short stack of pasta that's falling apart and the kitchen was trying to hide that with a plate full of creamy tomato sauce, The flavor was good but not a well made lasagna I was to expect from an Italian restaurant. And lastly their gnocchi have a nice chewy texture, but the quick cook did not allow flavor from sausage penetrate into them and they were just bathing in a large amount of sausage fat and oil. So go there for their pizza and you won't be disappointed
Great place to stop by if you are in town. Food was great. The place is not too big, nor to small. The Tortelloni Burro e Salvia was not what we expected. It was good but probably wouldn't try that item again. I only wish it came with a salad or soup.
Great little authentic Italian restaurant in the heart of Santa Ynez. Food was impeccable. My wife got the spinach ravioli and i got the assorted fish entrée. Only reason I'm giving it 4 and not 5, is because the dinner plate only came with the fish and a small little arugula salad with some tomatoes. Was hoping for a little side pasta or rice but it was still amazing. Will definitely be returning to this quaint little restaurant
Clean, fast service, has a broad menu from seafood, chicken, beef to Napoloni style pizzas. Italian Blonde beer in the bottle, Nice!
This is an old establish Italian restaurant/pizzeria. The place is all table seating (no booths) and a bar. The food is good, traditional and very satisfying. My wife had the spinach ravioli (you get 5) and it was ok. Not very flavorful. I have the linguini crostacei. It has lots of muscles, clams, good sized shrimp and salmon. The pasta was perfect, the seasonings were good, light flavored but perfect for the dish. The bread was room temp and hard crusted (rustic) a standard around these parts, but ok. The price is about average for post covid restaurant dining (27) each plate. The atmosphere is casual, the serv8ce was nice, polite and efficient. I would say, try it, but there are a lot of other places that might be better.
***covid19*** When everything was outdoors only. The food was delicious. Everything came out fast. The restaurant was located in like a small little town. Definitely come if your ever in the area.
Decor needs a little freshing up and you can skip the appetizers but the pasta are delicious! Pink sauce is the best

The food was pretty good to be sure but probably over priced. The portions were right. The service was spotty. The waiter was not around much but at least the "back up" girl was doing her & his job. It feels like they are trying to pass this place off as fine dining but the restaurant itself & the food & the service do not meet that standard

5 people, I had chicken fusilli...chicken tasted reheated. No body loved the food. The balsamic tasted old or off also. Underwhelming. People very nice, and service was fast.
The homemade spinach ravioli was filled with mush and the pasta skin was inconsistent; some parts paper thin and some parts thick enough that it wasn't cooked through. Only saving grace was the burrata salad.
