Excelente relación calidad-precio. La comida está muy bien elaborada, con buenos productos y raciones generosas. El local es bonito, cuidado y con muy buen ambiente. Mención especial para Pedro, el propietario: gestión impecable, trato cercano, amable y muy eficiente. Se nota cuando un sitio funciona bien desde la dirección. Un lugar muy recomendable, tanto para ir de forma informal como para quedar con amigos o en pareja.

Local acogedor, cenamos de tapeo super bien con tres tapas quedamos llenos. El bacalao con pies de cerdo espectacular. Quedamos tan contentos que al día siguiente volvimos para comer y todo muy rico y un servicio rápido y muy agradable. Las dos camareras que nos atendieron fantásticas. Muy recomendable.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the service is friendly and attentive, and the food… absolutely exceptional. The standout dish? The octopus—tender, flavorful, and perfectly grilled. It was a true showstopper that alone is worth the visit. Every bite was a testament to the chef’s skill and attention to detail. We also enjoyed a variety of other dishes, all beautifully presented and rich in flavor, but the octopus stole the spotlight. Whether you're a local or visiting the city, Sandonana is a must-visit. We stayed in the Sandoñana apartment for the duration of our stay in Santander The apartment was immaculate, beautifully finished and had everything we needed and more Sandoñana is one of the best restaurants in Santander so being able to pop downstairs for an incredible meal was perfect We had so many of the dishes and loved every single one Portions were fantastic as was the price I cannot recommend this place enough

If I need to recomed a place that will be Sandonaña loft apartment and Sandonaña restaurant in Santander 17 Casimiro Sainz . The loft was faultless, clean spacious, tidy and with the most advantage digital specs. The food included in rental the price was homemade, tasteful and plenty and Pedro Sandonaña and his team took care of me in my visit from day one until I left. Highly highly recommended.

Un lugar agradable y un trato exquisito con el cliente. Recomiendo reservar con antelación. Destacó los siguientes platos: anchoas, pulpo a la gallega y zamburiñas. Platos con buena presentación y un sabor delicioso. Gusto y no suele tardar a la hora de atendernos. Próximos a estos, recomendaría las croquetas de jamón o la sartén de paleta ibérica. Finalmente pedimos de carnes, el entrecot y el secreto ibérico. De estos dos destacaría el secreto, carne jugosa y buen trato con el producto. Finalmente pedimos tarta de queso. Buen postre dando la guinda al pastel. Recomiendo este local y no dudaría en volver.

Situado en pleno centro, con muy buen ambiente, cómodo y con variedad de platos. Nosotros pedimos chipirones, tortillas, sarten con gulas, croquetas y anchoas. Estaba todo muy bueno, aunque he de decir que la calidad y cantidad me parecieron algo peores a los de la zona, aunque estaba todo muy bueno y con precios muy asequibles. Lo mejor fue el solomillo.

Comida muy buena, muy recomendables la tabla de quesos y las zamburiñas. No pediría las anchoas con pimientos, una ración cara para la cantidad que trae (tiras de pimientos muy finas, entiendo que la anchoa es un producto caro pero no creo que los pimientos lo sean, se podrían poner algo más grandes). Otra cuestión es el orden de los platos, nos trajeron la tabla de quesos como último plato y debería haber sido el primero, no sé si allí es más típico de postre. Por lo demás todo está muy bien, servicio amable y buena relación calidad precio.

Es un local algo pequeño pero bien gestionado. Los camareros atienden bien y rapido, la comida esta buena y el precio es coherente con la cantidad y la calidad. Entre 3 tomamos la ensalada de tomate, las anchoas con pimientos (entera), las zamburiñas y los mejillones en salsa (entera). Eso junto con una tarta de la abuela, bebidas y pan nos salio por 68 euros. Recomiendo sobre todo la ensalada de tomate

Came here for lunch, based on some good recommendations. It did not live up to them. I consider this a more objective review - the place was nice, clean, atmospheric. I liked the decor. When it came to ordering, I selected the cod and chips with the cod cooked in tomato. And for drink I ordered a pitcher of sangria. That was where the first problem happened. The waitress looked at me like I was insane. She asked "A pitcher?" I said yes. Pointed to the menu again. She said "It's big." I said I know. 10 Euro. It should be big. She went away. Did she bring me my drink? No. She brought an empty pitcher and said "It's this big. Are you sure?" "Yes, I'm sure" I said. The pitcher she was sooooo worried about? Amounted to two and half glasses of sangria. The chips were not great, no seasoning, no salt, vinegar, lemon, black pepper or anything. None on the table either. The cod was bland and grey under the tomato puree topping. The sangria was nice. 10 Euro for the drink, 14.50 for the cod and chips. A basket of bread I didn't ask for, which arrived before anything else (and which I ignored) was not complimentary. It appeared on the bill, charged 3.50. I didn't bother arguing the point.
