Dined in and had a wonderful experience. Most recently ordered take out. The cashier barely spoke to me when my food wasn't ready (no "it will just be a few minutes, sorry for the delay" no communication at all) Then they packaged a hot dish on top of the sushi rolls which cooked the fish on the sushi rolls. Very disappointing.

Our food was expertly prepared, delicious and came to the table promptly. I was a little disappointed when the "tuna" combo I ordered arrived as a *salmon* combo. I brought it to our server's attention, but she insisted that I had ordered salmon [which I didn't and never have]. She very begrudgingly offered to exchange it for tuna, but I recognize how much work goes into preparing and presenting it, so I accepted it. I can't recall the last time I sent food back because I just can't stand waste and I don't ever want to be demanding_customer_guy. Unfortunately, they made no effort to "meet me halfway" or offer a comp of any sort, which I found disappointing. Atmosphere: The interior seems to have improved since I was there last which was a welcome change. Fun fact: This is the former location of "Saville Modern Diner" where a live hand grenade was found under the floorboards by a contractor fixing a gas leak in 2012. Luckily, the closest you'll probably come to that these days is if you order the "Bomb Lobster Roll" on the "KOI Special Rolls" menu LOL.

I was in this area and I read very bad reviews about this restaurant.I can't say that I was surprised by this place.and yes it was edible, but I won’t say that it’s of very good quality.i ordered tuna bowl,and added red onion,which was cut into such large pieces that it was impossible to eat it all.All in all, I would not say that I would return to this place or recommend it to anyone.

Sushi wasn’t the best I’ve had. It was just ok. What got me was the being charged $17 for a side of broccoli. Unreal.

Not like what it used to be. Ordered through GrubHub, and the food came a lot later than I expected, and it was cold, and a fried rice with beef I ordered didn’t come. Food isn’t that bad, but ordering is very risky when it comes to food not arriving and the temperature of it. Don’t think I’m ordering here ever again.

I don’t really care what the food tastes like. The obnoxious staff at the front desk to the left of the bar ruined any and every experience for me just by picking up my order. They had zero manners, and had horrible customer service. Their rude remarks were not appreciated either. The disgusting taste that the staff in this place left in my mouth is good enough of a reason for me to never return.

I have been coming to Koi for years. I’m not sure if they changed hands, or what the issue is… but needless to say, with the countless sushi restaurants locally, I won’t be back here. All hibachi menu items have been completely removed from the menu. Ordered the angus steak teriyaki. When it came to the table, it was extremely fatty and had a grey tint to it. When I spoke to the server regarding the poor cut of beef, the server was extremely rude and flat out told me I was wrong. Then, the manager came over and explained to our table that steak is 8oz, regardless if they trim the fat or not. The chef also came out of the kitchen and was glaring at us. They did switch the protein, being that I did not want such a fatty piece of beef. I was given chicken, but was still charged the angus steak price and there was no apology. The portion size of the vegetables and sides were also much smaller than in the past. When I asked for a soda refill, I was snapped at and told that they charge for refills… which I already knew because I’ve been there countless times. Once we were done eating our entrees, they didn’t even offer for us to see a dessert menu. A check was placed on our table and they walked away. Overall, very disappointed.

We ordered tonight through DoorDash. While eating I felt something sharp, then pain. I spit everything out to find a STAPLE IN MY SUSHI. This would've really really hurt me and caused so many very scary issues if I swallowed it. Never again. I'm so angry.

Food was overpriced and mediocre at best. I usually don’t leave reviews and if those were the only problems I wouldn’t have. However towards the end of my meal I found a staple in my roll. Absolutely absurd.
