Didn't order food just 2 cold coffees, but such friendly staff,wish all places had that good of service

First time trying Whataburger - and I've gotta say as someone who loves burger kings burgers and mcdonalds fries, at Whataburger you get the best of both worlds! The chocolate milkshake was great as well, perfect consistency (not runny) and the Service was great, staff was polite although they were busy. Not to long of a wait considering and the restaurant and tables were clean as well. Great quick eat spot.

Outstanding store. have been here several times and always the same. Clean, friendly, and welcoming. Krista waited on me and was extremely kind and helpful. She is a credit to your store. She took my order, delivered it, and thanked me. Great job. Keep up the good work, and keep Krista.

The lady who helped me at the drive thru was very polite and outgoing. She asked me if I wanted a hot apple pie. Most places don't ask for the extras.

It’s been about 8 months since I’ve stopped by this location for a meal but as always everything was great. The food was hot and fresh my dad even enjoyed their coffee which is a surprise since he hates our local Lagrange whataburger coffee.

We often stop here on the way to Houston. Although the bathrooms could use a fluff up, The staff here is always very nice and the food is Exactly what we stopped for. There was a baseball tournament in town and they were extremely busy but very nice and food was still quick. A little more loud than usual but all of the patrons were very respectful. Best ice in town.

We became hungry on the way home and decided to stop by this small towns Whataburger. I was very impressed on how well they prepared the food. It was wild to see how busy this place was for such a small town. It must be the go to place for the locals lol. Overall it is fast food however it was tasty and everyone there was friendly.

If you have been drinking for a while and hungry this is the place to stop and eat. Everytime we have stopped here the food has been completely on point. Especially the fries. Always perfectly cooked, fresh, and hot. Worth the stop!

I stopped here because they always do a good job! On this particular trip I was traveling in the middle of the night, and was greeted as I walked through the door. I couldn’t use the drive through because I was pulling a large trailer. They took my order and promptly asked if I would be able to wait eight minutes for the chicken to be cooked properly? I was extremely happy to hear those words! A lot of the time when I ordered a whatachicken sandwich from other locations they don’t ask me that question and usually when they don’t the chicken sandwich comes out extremely dry and not worth eating. Also I ordered a large chocolate shake with extra chocolate and they were able to accommodate me!!! My experience at this location was excellent in the middle of the night!

UPDATE Since they restricted the north exit, parking for trailers is more tricky. There may be available parking in the sand lot directly across 77. If there are not many cars in the way, you can still get in and out. But, you have to be able to u-turn around the parked cars. Great parking lot. Easy in easy out for trailer or RV. Great food. Clean bathrooms. Friendly staff. Clean dining room. Classic A-frame ceiling in a newer building.

Will never stop at this location again! They gave us an already bitten burger and the manager did not care whatsoever. She should be fired for such poor customer service.. I can only image how many other people they have given bad service to. Update: I got a call from the GM today and rectified the situation.. I was more that grateful for him and the other manager, Doris that was there tonight.

Schulenburg Texas.WAB is on Interstate 10 between Columbus and Flatonia Tx. These country folks..and YES that's a acompliment..do an outstanding job of taking care of the travelers like me that pass through there frequently on this busy interstate.. Its always busy !!!. AMAZING service!!! They already had people waiting, and even had a large group of kids come in and begin ordering while I was walking up to the line. I already had my order in my app, and decided to go ahead and just use my app since the line had around 15 people in it, waiting to order. Our food came out in a very timely manner, they gave me drinks as soon as I checked in, the young lady had a smile on her face the whole time, despite the chaos. Our order was not typical, it had several modifications, and it came out 100% right the first time, even the exact sauces we had on the side!! My only grievance was with the bathroom. The bathroom was nasty, my daughter had to go several times while there and I was afraid of her sitting and touching the toilet. But the soap, sanitizer and paper towels were fully stocked and the water got hot and warm for clean up. I understand being that busy, you probably don’t have time to constantly check and clean the bathrooms.

Wasn't slow to me on a late evening order! They are busy, but I see the staff hustling to get orders out timely working together! Food came out I about 5 min and was fresh and exactly how we ordered! Plenty parking, clean restaurant and everyone needs patience, these people probably don't even get a real break this location so busy! 💯😁 to everyone!!

Whataburger in San Antonio is better than in Phoenix. Both are delicious, but in SA the party melt was not as sloppy and the bread was crunchier. I wish there were Whataburgers in California as another option when I'm not feeling like eating at In n Out.

Just had breakfast on the way to San Antonio. There was a gentleman-an employee cleaning the restroom and then began cleaning the inside perimeter. The way he was cleaning reminded of my days of the navy. Did not miss a spot,cleaned on top of the door closure,the surroundings immaculately cleaning. I asked him if he was ex military the way he was cleaning, he couldn’t hear me. I tapped him and he motioned to his ear- he is deaf . I gave him a fist bump and a thumbs up. The lady at the drive-thru window was friendly and helpful. I requested something extra before payment and she was good with updating the order. Now a days, you never know if folks will be okay with someone doing that. Order was faster than DFW locations. Food was good and hot.

It was extremely busy when I was there and had a long wait time. I can't say that will always be the case due to my limited experience. We ususally stop in Flatonia enroute to Lake Charles for an early breakfast.   Knowing the restaurant  would not be open until six, we drove on and stopped in Schulenberg at the Whataburger on Kessler.  We ordered  two Tequito  Breakfast Burritos of  egg, sausage & cheese with our coffees.   Added picante to the Burritos,   It was very  tasty and inexpensive.  $5.86.  Dining & restrooms were clean; however trash barrels were full.   With as few customers in restaurant and as many employees on hand  expected them to be empty.  Parking lot was cluttered &  needed policing.  Hope management is not allowing his premises to be used as a hangout.

As much as I love whataburger, this location didn't do their best this day. They didn't confirm if I was a rewards member when ordering (and I made multiple orders) and when I asked for a #5 they didn't only charged me for the burger and fry. When I asked for my cup I was told I would have to be charged for the drink (I think he only said that because the manager was close by and he didn't want to admit to messing up). The best part of this location was the gentleman that brought out our food. He was the only courteous and looked to make sure customers were satisfied with what they needed.

It is getting difficult to enjoy "fast food" these days. The order was wrong. The food we did receive was good and fresh. I'm not sure what happened. The person that took our order sounded like they were being attentive. However, apparently, there was some sort of distraction while we were placing the order. It wasn't just at this Whataburger in this city. It has been a mess at most fast food establishments lately in all 3 states we visited. In my opinion, the person taking the order is somehow distracted while taking the order. When the order is taken correctly, the one making the order is distracted while making the order. The order was not quality checked nor read back to us and we ended up not receiving the complete order. The drive thru was very busy and the inside was closed so, we chose not to wait in the long line a second time to get the items that were left off of the order. We were traveling and it was not as convenient an experience as we had hoped it would be.

Decent Waterburger a little disappointed in staff. Worker took trash out and literally stepped over the trash piled on the ground to throw away a trash bag. Three more associates including a manager walked by the trash to get to the outdoor storage shed. If your willing to publicly leave trash on your doorstep makes me wonder what's behind the fryers?

Unfriendly staff. Ordered food "to-go" from inside the store. Staff forgot about my order. Took them 15 minutes to deliver my food. Staff member was seen cross-contaminating by touching her phone with her work gloves, and then making food with the gloves she just touched right afterwards(see photo). I've been here several times over the years, and the service it still terrible. Food was fresh but then they put a rotten tomato in my sandwich.

Ordered curbside @8:48 pm for my food to pick up at 9-9:05 pm. I get there around 9:03 and it’s not even busy. I lock in my spot with no other cars on curbside waiting. Time passes & it’s 9:08. A gentlemen comes out with my drink & tells me my food is still being made. Some more times passes & its 9:15, the same gentleman comes and gives me my food. He apologizes for the wait & I told him it’s fine, it’s not his fault. Waited almost 30 minutes for my food to be ready & to top it all of it was wrong. I didn’t check because I was already low on time. I’d recommend only coming here in the morning or if you’re somehow awake & hungry then the graveyard shift.

On Wednesday I went to the Schulenburg branch, where I ordered 3 double hamburgers to take away, which were in perfect condition and very well prepared. It's a shame that the staff is very rude and arrogant. The cashier serves with a bad attitude and the manager on duty was leaning on the table in front of me, which gives a very bad impression to customers.

One of the absolute worst locations I have ever been to. Paid for my food and waited over 30min. Finally had to leave without my order because I didn’t have any more time to waste. Talked to the very terrible manager onsite who did absolutely nothing to help me. Won’t be surprised if this location shuts down like many others.

I have never been to a Whataburger this slow. I visit Whataburger often. This really ruined it for me. The cashier was very pleasant and nice. Whatever you do, don’t go through the drive-through unless you don’t mind waiting 20 minutes to get your order even though there’s only four vehicles in front of you. This is got to be the slowest drive-through service I’ve ever experienced you. People need to learn something from Chick-fil-A that will be the last time that I visited the Whataburger in Schulenburg.

Ordered online, got there. Told them I had an online order, they gave me my drinks and said I was there out loud, then I waited and waited. No one ever called the name. I went up and said I was still waiting on my order and they asked if I told them I was there (same person I told when I got there) (not to mention I'm drinking from my cup). Not even an apology.

I ordered a double whataburger with cheese at the Colombus location, they didn’t put cheese on it and we weren’t able to turn around. So we just drove up to the schulenburg location to see if they could fix it. I got told they couldn’t fix it. All they did was give me one cold slice of cheese. Never again.

If you order curbside here be prepared to wait 30+ minutes in the parking lot while your food gets cold sitting on their counter. Been here about 10 times over the last couple months and every curbside order has taken 30 minutes to arrive. Terrible service

This has to be the slowest fast food restaurant I've ever stopped at. In the drive thru and it took 22 minutes to order and 48 minutes to get my meal. But of course you get blocked into the line and there is no route available to get out Recommend not stopping here unless you plan on stopping for a while, and if you're stopping for a while, you might as well go to an actual restaurant. Not worth the time.

I do not recommend anyone go here. Took 25min to go through drive thru with only 3 cars in the line. Then when I opened my burger 10miles down the road I found that there is no beef patty on it! Really no excuse for this with the prices they are charging these days.

I stopped to buy breakfast for my family of 8. We order 5 coffees. The coffee was undrinkable. It was too way strong. We asked the lady nicely if she could remake it coffee. She was so rude with an attitude and reused to do it. Saying was a colombian coffee. As a colombian person i am. I can tell this is not a normal taste. The coffee tasted more like a expresso cuban. It is a Texas unwritten rule that when you buy a thermos or cup from Whataburger that you can get free refills. I have herd of a few Whataburgers around Texas that give you a hard time about refills and this Whataburger was my first experience with NOT letting me refill. It’s a shame because I visit Whataburger 3-4 times a week. Since this Whataburger did this to me I won’t be spending my money at this Whataburger anymore. I’m a truck driver and I go all over Texas and this has never happened to me. As much money I spend at Whataburger over the years they aren’t losing money with me getting a refill. It’s very un Texan to not allow this unwritten Whataburger rule to not be honored at this Whataburger! I was told that no outside cups are allowed for a refill. I can understand non Whataburger cups shouldn’t be refilled because you probably aren’t a loyal regular customer and you wouldn’t know about this unwritten rule.

26 minutes to get 1 burger and fries! We saw numerous people making orders 5-10 after us get their orders before us. Then, when we took it to our car we found only a half order of fries. See the attached picture . In addition, the restroom was filthy ….go 5 minutes further for McDonalds or Dairy Queen…. Extremely bad management

First of all I ordered a #1 plain with mustard and they put cheese on it. When I told the woman she asked for my receipt & said I didn't tell them no cheese. Gave me attitude like its my fault they are busy. I already looked at the menu online and the #1 doesn't come with cheese. That's part of the reason I choose whataburger. After I left I noticed a big clump of hair on top of my fries. I threw up. Thank God I checked my burger that still tasted like onions for some reason. They probably scraped onions off the bun but onions have juice that stays on bread. Never coming back here. DQ across the road is better anyways.
