Omg the Philly cheese pepper steak sandwich is really delicious. Just with the right amount of spice. There potato pizza fries where like tasting good old fashion lasagna. Though I got to say that Hank vanilla cream soda is the best.

Cashier was friendly and explained their signature items well. I ordered the green pepper cheesesteak with onions and the wait wasn't long. It was a great sandwich. Will be back again to try the others!

Philly grill serves up some of the best cheese steaks around. Really fresh tasty bread with good fillings. Grab some garlic pepper sauce to throw on top very tasty. I usually go with the Guido's favorite l. If you're into Italian subs check this out it's very good. Place is a bit dated but friendly staff and good service give them a shot.

Hands down, best Philly cheesesteak sandwiches.I would stick with the beef. The philly fry's compliment the sandwich. I have been coming here for years.I'll go out of my way just to come here. If i'm in the area , I can't go anywhere else but here. I've thought about trying something else on the menu But I just can't, the sandwiches are that good,get the works , you won't be disappointed. They Close early if they run out of bread .So don't wait to the last minute order early.

I have been coming to this place for decades and it has changed slightly over the years but has remained one of my favorite places to visit and get a sandwich. The cheese steak sandwiches are the best the cold sandwiches have been hit and miss basically less meat over the years but still delicious and I understand cost of up so they have to save money somehow but still love the place and will continue to visit or get to go as long as they keep bringing the eats.

If you are a Philly Cheesesteak lover this place is definitely worth it. They serve a variety of sides/fries/salads and Sandwiches. My favorite is "The Works" Cheesesteak. Freshly baked bread, tender & juicy steak sautéed with peppers, onions, mushrooms. Truly delicious.

You order your food at the counter and wait right outside the door, wait till they call your name

The main problem for me was they don’t have cheese sauce ( I use it to dip my fries in) and I could not find a restroom (I also did not ask). Enjoyed my sandwich they accommodated my request to sub provolone versus standard American and they use large steak fries.

This place was recommended like any other new place right. The drive wasn’t bad only about 25 min down to the beach area it brought back memories. Ordering was easy all questions answered nice and fast. Cashier was very friendly she was a pleasure. The place looked like a dump but that’s not why you’re there it’s the food. The number 1 and 4 are great no complaints. The wings are dry overcooked and it worth it. The cheese fries are a slap in the face honestly. The regular fries are okay but not what they could be. Would I go back? Pay me and I’ll go back then I could afford the 3$+ dollar root beers.

Usually have a cheesesteak here which is decent, tried to switch it up and get a chicken bacon version of a cheesesteak and the chicken had that rubbery chew to it and the bacon was low quality and not chopped and placed at the bottom of all the chicken, which I paid for extra meat. I returned my sandwich after 2 bites letting them know it was chewy chicken, there was no response. I left after spending $20. I probably won't be back since the quality of food seems low and lack of customer service .

John's Philly Grille is located at 550 Pacific Coast Highway, Seal Beach. They serve sandwiches, Italian, cold cuts, warm sandwiches. The one I had was a meatball sandwich. I have been several times at this place, and food seemed OK. However, the last one I had made me very sick. I believe that they are using one of those processed oils, which causes stomach issues for many. My husband ate his, and he was not sick. The place has a few tables in one room with TVs to watch sports. The place is windy with both doors opened. They also have a small patio area with benches. Service is quick and prices are around $20 per person.
