Really great place. My parents like coming here. We got shrimp spring rolls, pineapple fried rice, yellow chicken curry, spicy beef salad, mango stick rice and Thai tea. About a spicy level of 3 for the food. It was a but much for them but luckily that salad was very refreshing. Everything was delicious! The Thai tea is also strong so don't make the mistake of drinking it late like I did, lol. They do add alot of ice to the tea so make sure to ask for less. Sorry for the not so great photos. We were so hungry I forgot to take pictures of all the food as it came out but I promise it was all delicious and beautiful. 😂
I visited this restaurant with my wife, and these are my observations: The good: Prices and portions are right on target. The taste is authentic, and the sauces are very good! There is plenty of free parking, and the neighborhood is very peaceful. Service is very good and the waitress is very attentive and nice. She has that welcome to the restaurant vibe. The bad: I really didn't find any other than the music. If they play some traditional Thai music, it will, in my opinion, complete the experience. The music, however, is not bad... The ugly: There is nothing bad or ugly about the experience I had with my wife. We actually want to come back to this place more often and try other wonderful dishes they have. Overall, I recommend this jewel hidden somewhere between Long Beach and Seal Beach called Thai on Main. You will not regret it.
Excellent Thai restaurant in Seal Beach. I had dinner twice during the week I was in Seal Beach, the dishes are delicious are personnel very kind and attentive. The choice of spicy level is perfect, servers ask for it every time. And prices are very decent. A great place to have lunch or dinner with family and friends. Highly recommended!
Nice spot, was able to get a table quickly. Spice level was much lower than expected. Would of expected better food with the amount of awards it has. Still overall good, but wouldn't go back. Unsure of what type of alcohol was in the margarita.
Service was great. They were very patient with us asking alot of questions about their menu. We loved everything we ordered. I would go back.
It tastes great. Little bit of Thailand through it food. All the relaxation of home.
I love coming here to eat. Great food, awesome service. I normally order their Tom Yum soup. Today I ordered Thai Boat Noodles soup. Its a little spicy, good portion of beef to noodles ratio. The broth is very delicious and savory.
The Thai boat noodles were really delicious. Good portion size too.
A fun, stylish Thai restaurant, with a relaxed atmosphere and delicious food. A friend brought me here, and I will definitely be back. Try the shrimp!

Thai On Main is Seal Beach in a nutshell—casual, friendly, and full of flavor. The Spring rolls, Glass noodle salad and Three Curries plate is a must. Happy hour apps are a steal, and the vibe is perfect whether you’re rolling in sandy from the pier or dressed up for date night. Busy on weekends, but always worth it.
This is one of my favorite places to go for Thai food. Now my boyfriend is addicted too. Our favorites are the Tom Kha soup and mango sticky rice for dessert.

Had lunch here yesterday. Cute place and pretty popular with the locals, and I’ve been here a number of times but usually for dinner. This is also one of the few restaurants in the area that stays open on holidays, which is always a plus. They serve the same menu for both lunch and dinner. We came in around 1 PM and it wasn’t too crowded. I wasn’t super hungry, so I just went with their Thai Iced Tea and Papaya Salad. My friends ordered the Pad See Ew, Fresh Spring Rolls, and Khao Soi. Everything came out great as expected. Super flavorful with generous portions. We ended up boxing most of it. Service was fast and easy, as always.
Best pork Pad Thai I've ever had! Not hot n spicy at all, but very flavorful and large portion. Yummy Thai tea. Highly recommend. Outdoor and indoor dining options too... I took a star off because the price per item was a few dollars more than the other thai places I go to. It was so good that it was worth the price though.
Very good Thai food. Their sample plate was great and offered very good appetizers. The green curry was excellent and exactly what I was expecting. The service was lacking in attention from the servicers.
Got the red curry with tofu. It was good and the service was great. The workers were friendly. I tend to choose Thai spicy for my spice level and I’m beginning to wonder if most Thai restaurants don’t think I can handle it so they make it less spicy haha. If that was the Thai spicy level then I would have needed quite a few more chilis!

Poor service, Great food. I had drunken noodles with chicken. It was spicy as expected and very delicious. My father had sweet n sour chicken with rice. His was very good as well. We both had a small salad that came with it. He said his tea was very good and it was just regular iced tea. We were very pleased with the food. The service was not good. And it wasn't just 1 waitress because we had 2 helping us and both were slightly rude. It started when we walked in and someone said hello. I looked around to say hello back as I stood by the wait to be seated sign. Then came another hello but loud and rude. I found her this time back behind the bar so I smiled and said hello. She said sit wherever you like so as we walked to sit where we like she then told us where to sit. She seemed impatient with all our questions about the menu. The place was almost empty. After we got our food my father asked for a cup of extra sweet n sour sauce. We later asked for soy sauce. She turned around and then turned back to us and said, Is there anything else? Her voice was not pleasant. My father and I decided we had a little food left and could probable fit both of our dishes in one box so it's easier to carry as we walked on main. So when she came we asked her for one box and she said 1 or 2? We said 1 bc we would share. So, she brought us 1 box. I did not realize it would be a tiny cube box. So feeling bad and not wanting to make her run around I went to the counter and explained that I was sorry and I had no clue the boxes were so small and needed another one. She then looked at me and said that's why I asked you if you needed 1 or 2. Again, her voice wasn't pleasant. She could have just told me our boxes are very small or brought us 2 anyways. Well, sorry to make the waitresses work at a full sit down restraunt. I suggest these ladies are kinder to their customers. My father and I were both in from another state for a funeral because his mother passed away and were trying to have a moment to talk at the beach and dinner. Did not appreciate the rudeness at this restraunt.

We had such a nice dinner with delicious Thai food. But I put one start because of their manager. After we paid our dinner he came to us with a question - Do we have a problem? He approached us in an extremely aggressive manner. My husband even asked back, what the manager meant, because nothing had happened. And the manager meant that the tips were less than 15%. He claimed that it’s a must to pay greater tips if we want to dine in next time. By the way, no word about that in the receipt. It says only “gratuity suggestion”. Also, the manager made an offensive comment that we are not from this city because we did not tip in the way he wanted. It’s rude. At the end of the conversation he threw the money on the table and said that we could take the money back. Wow! What a confrontation was created in a couple of minutes!!! It’s the very first and last time we spent time at this restaurant due to such a horrible management service. The manager wanted to have more tips for the servant but left her without any tips at all because of rude approach to customers. Be aware that your evening can be easily spoiled by this manager. If he speaks that way with customers, I can only imagine how he treats his employees……

Thai on Main has been my favorite restaurant on Main St. pretty much since they opened. I hadn't been there in a while, so when I had a friend visiting last week, I suggested we go there for lunch - on a Friday at 1:00 p.m. The fact that there was only 1 other occupied table should have been a tip that something has changed. The server sat us at a table away from the front window, even though there was an open table. I asked for a window table. He said we might not want that, considering THE FLIES. I looked closer, and there were flies buzzing all around the window and window sill, and many dead fly bodies laying on the window sill. I noted that the windows were open, but the screen frames were broken and created a gap where the hoards of flies were coming in to the restaurant. Even on our table mid-way back, there was one of those spinning fly fans - INSIDE THE RESTAURANT, and we still had to wave away flies. The service was poor, our waters weren't refilled, the serving bowls that our food came in were all chipped up, we weren't given individual plates to be able share the two dishes we ordered. My friend was trying to be cool and not judge my lunch recommendation, and I was majorly embarrassed. Something has drastically changed with this restaurant, for the worst, and I likely won't go back. The whole experience was gross.
The ingredients were clearly not fresh. Given such a prime location, it’s hard to understand why the space is being operated by a restaurant with this level of quality. The location has so much potential, yet the food and overall execution fall far below what one would expect.
