We, I mean my family and I get so tired of my five or six dishes that I cook very well but are so boring. I wish I could cook Asian style it is exciting and delicious. If you want something that is reasonable nutritious and easy on your pocketbook try Panda Express at least once a week. The family will be so happy you did!

We love the Panda Express. I always go there and pick up a family feast to bring home. It's a lot of food and usually lasts us a couple of days. I feel like the chain is making efforts to have healthier items but of course we don't usually go for those. In any event everyone always enjoys their meal. The lines get long sometimes but in general unless you have to wait for something to be cooked they move pretty quickly. There's lots of parking at this location as it is only one of a few establishments using the parking area.

I love panda, it's good, affordable, and they get ur order quick. It's also very clean and the staff is friendly. You can get a big plate with 4 different things on it and a drink for under 17 bucks!

As always food is great as expected! A note to Mgnt n owner if you want one WC for employees only, pls provide a sign. After small children leaving a mess in the one for all WC I really didn’t want to use that WC Lol. However you did have a Women’s WC, saw a customer leave that one, but an employee ( Caucasian) tried insistently to persuade me to use the filthy one!? Always looking forward to enjoying a meal at Panda, without That kind of experience. Thank you

This is a great local Panda. The food is cooked expertly, there are several long term employees who rarely let you down. They're really on point but mistakes do happen sometimes. It's typically clean and super busy as well. S0 around 6-730 pm or lunchtime maybe want to place an online order versus standing in line. The line can take maybe 30 ,minutes if youre waiting for an entree.

Panda Express has a great food selection & great prices! Currently, due to Covid-19, they have a system in place where you go to the door on the right side to place your order. Then you go to the door on the left to pick up your order (when they call your name). Then they placevyour order on a tray, and your change & the receipt in a basket. Thank you! Decent and fast. Always crowded at lunch time so go a bit later if you can, and definitely wait for the trays to be refilled with freshly cooked.

Clean fast food, service was polite and efficient. They chowmein was dry and chewy. The Honey Sesame Chicken and Shanghai Steak were both tasty. Potstickers were good too.

Save your time and go straight to SEASIDE. On my past 3 visits to MONTEREY closed before schedule posted signs, staff borderline rude and last night turned up 10 minutes before closing and was offered dishes that were fit only for trash. I would suggest the pans with dried on scraps are at least stacked giving the impression that you value your customers more than that, as these were offered as an option. Just say sorry our kitchen is closed and I'm sorry this is all we have! They could also proactively say our Seaside location is open until 10pm, they also closed at 9.30pm. The food was Panda Express at it's best and service was genuinely good and the young lady who served me prepared the plate with care and attention. Good job Seaside. Just be aware the closing times are not accurate.

Panda Express is generally consistent food wise. The only thing that sets one apart from another is the quality of the staff. Better staff, friendlier attitudes, cleaner restaurant, etc. The Panda Express in Seaside, Ca...is better than most.

If you’re looking for the real Asian experience, pass. If you’re looking for a quality fast food restaurant, this will satisfy not only your tummy but pocketbook as well. I've eaten at several Pandas, as mentioned in previous comments, the consistency between them is amazing. I gave 4 stars to them solely grouping them in the fast food collective.

Gotta do Panda every few weeks. Consistent flavor and busy enough that fresh food arrives often. Kinda loud so always do takeout. Kudos to staff for keeping place clean despite constant traffic.

Its nice to be able to go in now and see the food. Easter to make a decision. Always clean and for the most part quick. No matter what time of the day it always tastes the same and choices are always available.

Food was super hot. The orange chicken had a different salty taste that I wasn't really into. The service was fast and pleasant. First time I used their rewards application which was nice. Only came here because it was nearby where we were in Seaside. I probably won't be back just because it's pretty far. It did have the Panda express signature flavors other than that orange chicken. If you're reading this I assume you know what I'm talking about.

Wasn't bad food, but I watched a server scoop food back out of a plate back into a pan because it was the wrong thing a customer requested. I don't mind because I'm not allergic to anything, though I worry for those who could be allergic to other foods it touched.

The line is always wrapping around the restaurant or out the door but the food is ALWAYS so worth it! The staff is very friendly and hardworking and dedicated to each and every customer and they all work very quickly to try and make the wait for customers not so long. I love Panda Express. These guys are great. The food is great. The staff is great my only gripe are there are some long lines sometimes. 15 -30 minute waits. Even though it's understandable since sometimes they are cooking the food it still sucks. All in all a great experience. Take out is the way to go.

This is the only fast food I would eat right now. At least I can get veggies here that still have a crunch to them. Service was pleasant and quick. The wait was about 25 minutes due processing call in/online orders at the same time. Overall worth the wait but next time I will order online for faster pick up.

We arrived at Panda Express just a few minutes before closing time. There was a long line, but it was moving quickly. The ladies behind the counter worked fast and efficiently. The cook was hard at work, getting entrees out. Although my favorite entree wasn't available, there were other selections that were just as good. The server was apologetic about not having my selection available, but she was quick to recommend another. Our food was neatly packaged, and we were on our way. My only gripe is that we did not get so sauce. Oh well, it was still delish!

This Panda Express is pretty much what you’d expect. The food is reliable, the flavors are consistent, and most of the time it’s fresh. Every now and then some of the less popular items can sit too long and end up a little cold, but when it’s fresh the flavor is great. Wait times are usually around 5 to 10 minutes, which isn’t too bad. I usually get the Bigger Plate with Orange Spicy Chicken, Walnut Shrimp, and Beijing Beef, and it always hits the spot. Overall it’s a solid and dependable place when you’re craving Chinese food on the go.

The employee taking my order was super friendly. The chow mein was almost out. When I ordered a bowl, she gave me that chow mein originally, but then the cook had a fresh batch of chow mein. She immediately started over on my bowl. Loved that! Only ick was the bathroom, but they were really busy so I understand.

I like the food when they get it right, but this location needs to get it together. I visited last night and they were closing at 7:30 PM. The stated hours are supposed to to 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. I have been there before before 7:00 PM and they said , 'no more teriyaki' today. They have filled my order with Chow Mein, when I asked for white rice and fried rice, missed the fortune cookie. They just have it together. Last night when I walked in there was soap all over the floor behind the counter, half of the menu items weren't there, or very little of it, not enough for an order. I just left. I wrote Panda and am waiting to see if they reply.

Always come here, but today they forgot to put one of my sides in my plate, still got charged&found out once i was home. The workers kept leaving, new ones would come in. I understand they take their breaks, but should keep each other updated on what is going on.

the food there is good but you have to make sure when you get the noodles that you actually get them from the bottom because the ones on top or cold independent sitting near Healy display window and get extra sauce if you want teriyaki chicken other than that everything else is pretty much up to par

Decent fast Chinese food but where’s the mustard? They’re no longer carrying it. It’s like a burger joint that doesn’t offer ketchup. Who does that?!

How do I know if they served the correct amount of meat ? I usually have teriyaki chicken so I know how much usually they serve but here the guy who chopped my meat was off with the amount he served but how can I argue with him?

If you like Panda Express you will like the food here. However this place is always busy at dinner times 5 to 8 pm. Long line and then you typically have to wait for the main entrees and side dishes. Panda should consider opening another store in Monterey.

I like Panda Express enough to endure visiting this particular outlet on occasion. My main complaint is the young ladies that ladle the food onto your plate frown consistently and show no outward signs of friendliness or concern. In five visits not one of the 'servers' has smiled. Eye contact is never achieved. Generally when I smile at someone there is an acknowledgement of some sort. Never here. It's uncanny. The food is okay but more often the choices are limited because the cooks do not feed a steady supply to all of the food trays. I suggest when robots take over for this chain the software developers write AI code that can deliver a friendly tone. That's all I want from fast food restaurant employees. It's not asking for much.

Overall, Panda Express will meet your needs. There is usually a line. My three-star review is not a bad review; it just states that this restaurant meets the standard of tolerable dining. The food is ultimately fast food: greasy, full of carbs and fat, and not all that good for you. They have some healthier options, and I try to stick with those.

Food is always tasty, but they really have to keep on top of the food items. Too many times then run out of food and you have to wait for them to cook.some more. This location would run a lot more efficiently if they replenish the food on a more timely basis.

so me and my gf went there and ordered our food, we waited for them to finish making more teriyaki chicken. They served people before us and wired 5 additional minutes. Then after eating our food we began to feel nauseous and then vomited. Food was under cooked.

When I arrived to pick up my order I was told they were out of the selection I had made. I asked if I could have the shrimp and pay for the difference and was declined. I explained I couldn't eat from the selection choices given to me. I ended up paying for and bringing home a dish I did not like. Poor customer service 😒

I went in at 12:30 7/22/19 not many people , service was nice, food was not, I realize this was newly opened but the experience was bad. ordered a 3 entries meal and pot-stickers cooks were standing around for the most part not refilling the counter food without staff asking them to and they did so begrudgingly. Most of the breaded/candied foods was rock hard, even broke my plastic fork. When I asked to taste some it was hard for the lady at the counter to stab one to get a taste, this means they were not changing the food out enough and let it overcook I think. The friend rice was not cooked all the way, rock pebbles , not fun to chew. The double mushroom chicken was fine , flavor was right and easy to chew like normal. The orange chicken was hard to stab and chew as was the shanghai beef was also tough and hard to eat. On the potstickers, I had to wait 5 minutes ,as they had not made any, they were soft and easy to chew when I received them, but no sauce . Overall only 2 things of my order were really edible in a normal fashion, I typically eat at gilroys , bay area , salinas pandas, so I have plenty of experience with the chain. I sincerely hope they improve with time, but as it stands i cant in good conscience recommend at this time.

The service at the location leaves much to be desired for. They don't have half the menu items available to order and the lady in charge of the register gives attitude and does not listen to consumer requests. Their soda machine is broken and they are fixing it in the middle of that day on a Sunday and have tools and dirty water all over the floor. When a customer asked for napkins, she barely acknowledged him and pointed with her mouth to the box of napkins on top of a table.

Used to be a really good place but the past few months quality has gone down a lot. Been giving them a lotta chances cuz I love panda express, but everything is always soggy like if i heated it in the microwave. I order with doordash a lot but it’s the same if I go pick it up. They also never give Sweet & Sour w the appetizers (even though supposed to come with it, no option to add on doordash) and if I ask in person, I get a lil container filled like 1/4 full lol they give them out for free so idk the point of putting so little in the container or not putting sauce in bags at all. Awful, rude service. It felt like I was inconveniencing them my by having my family there. Food was as it should be and it was mostly clean but to have someone sweeping under the table while we were eating was annoying. I'm sure the one inch noodle and mushroom could have waited until we left. We will not be going back .

Everytime I go to Panda Express they're always wait time because they are out of two or three items and usually one of them includes the rice or the chow mien noodles. I feel they should never be out, always have a replacement ready. The Panda Express I frequent in Sand City. Thank you.

I like their food: fresh and clean. However, they need more workers. Recently, I was there after work. There was a long line and I waited long. Only one server was taking and filling BOTH mobile and on-site orders. Other workers were doing other things such as handling payments or refilling the food. Their system is inefficient. I hope that they have more servers. Filling both mobile and on-site orders seemed to be too much for one server.

If you want slow service from people who do not listen, this is the place for you. The bathroom is gross and they will sell you iced tea…even though their tea machine is out of order. But then again, what do you expect from people who don’t listen?!?!

Came an hour before closing and they had no beef and broccoli among many other popular dishes. The fried rice was missing vegetables and tasted bland. Seemed liked they were just trying to leave.

Panda Express food is good but the employees who work in this location specially the server and cashier need customer service training. I've been working customer service for more than 10 years, so I know how it should be. The server has a thin voice and hard to understand with the radio on. I wanted the Family Feast that's why I pointed the to go box which is on the side of the counter but she said that they only have the plate for to go. I was a little bit disappointed because I have to order seperate plate for 4 with the same order. I just ordered 3 bigger Plates and the server started to be unfriendly which I don't get it. Also, the cashier talked like I don't understand the process of paying it. She just dropped our food infront of us instead of giving it to us. We ordered 2 plates (one with 2 teriyaki chicken entrees/half fried rice/half white rice and the other one with 1 teriyaki chicken/1 orange chicken/half fried rice/half white rice - also asked for 4 teriyaki sauces, forks/napkins, soy sauce) the plate with 2 teriyaki chicken only got 1 entree of teriyaki chicken, small portions of rice, missing teriyaki sauce, utensils, napkins, and soy sauce. Food was cold and poorly prepared, really odd since I had to wait for the teriyaki chicken to be cooked, it definitely wasn't freshly prepared, I’d believe they pulled it out of the trash before buying they just had cooked it. “Fortune” cookies no longer have lucky numbers. “Your smile brightens up a room” is not a fortune. Get it together Panda Express.

Ordered through uber days and it took 2 hours for them to prepare my food. I wouldn't even wait that long for food at a sit down restaurant. I would've been more understanding if they explained what was going on when I called but they never answered any phone calls.

I tried this place a couple times 6 months ago. Didn't like it then because they were unprofessional and didn't seem to care about the customer. Went back today because I had a visitor that was craving panda. Same people. Still rude. They messed up my order and instead of just fixing it when I told them I was missing something, they all got into a blaming argument over who screwed it up.

Worst panda in Reno. I ordered two double orang with teriyaki chicken and got only orange chicken. They said they were out of white and brown rice so I said no sides on both and got fried rice. I ordered two drinks and then at the window they said do you want two free drinks but gave us our drinks that we already payed for and no free drinks smh.

Horrible service today 13/13/2021 we went at 6:25PM and waited half an hour and 10 minutes before they closed they stopped cooking the when there were 15 people still waiting in line and they said that they weren't going to make any more food. 1 person who looked like they were in there 60s said they were waiting for 40 minutes and he was talking to the manager how it was unfair that they had to chose what was left on the menu. The man left angry and so did others.

The staff is less than friendly and this store is ALWAYS out of white rice. This has happened to us on more than one occasion. How does a Chinese restaurant run out of white rice and take nearly an hour to replenish. This is poor management of product and from the attitudes of the staff, poor leadership.

They are closing early at 7:00 p.m.?? Ran out of food after the wife stood in line for 45 minutes, she had to tell staff that they should warn others behind her that they were out of most items.

One of the female workers was rude and arrogant while picking up an order. Gave me 4 thumbs down in a row and nearly got me kicked from uber eats. I didn’t do anything except refuse to full the drinks because of health concerns. We aren’t allowed to be hands on with the food besides the bags for delivery. It’s only this one female though. I go on the weekends when she isn’t working and nothing! They’re great! We talk and have a good time while waiting.

The food was burnt. The service was rude. They served little portions. I didn't get at all what I paid for and they didn't even get my order right. This is the worst Panda Express I've ever been too. I usually can't wait to have Panda Express, but this store in Seaside, was a huge disappointment. It needs new cooks that can cook chinese food, and friendly customer service that also gets the orders right and gives you your money's worth. I say for now take your dollars and go elsewhere.

The restaurant was so disgustingly dirty that I can't rate them any higher than a one star, if possible I might rate them a -1 star it was simply that filthy. I understand it's a fast food joint but really I would think that the corporate offices must enforce some sort of cleanliness policies (which if they are, they are certainly not being followed in this location). I arrived at roughy 2pm that day and all (*ALL*) of the tables had some sort of food crumbs on them from noodles, to rice to bits of vegetables that come in the fried rice etc. The floors were absolutely abysmal. I finally chose to sit at a table with the least amount of debris/leftovers on top of it, but to get to the table I had to wade through trash on the floor (consisting of things such as used napkins, plastic forks and knives etc) and had to step over food that messy customers must have spilled off their plates that nobody seemed particularly interested in cleaning up any time soon. In fact I was sitting there for near 35 minutes and not once did anybody come out from behind the counter to wipe down some tables or pick up the trash on the floor. Food? Well, what can I really say about it. It was typical Panda Express food, no better, nor any worse than any other Panda Express. I didn't get sick so that's a plus. This store (franchise maybe?) needs to clean up their act and their store. . Update: Went to this store again, still filthy for an eating establishment, but this time I thought I'd try their steamed vegetables to try to keep my carbs and sugar under control. I returned to my office and found the vegetables were more raw than cooked, you know the taste you get from a raw stringbean vs a cooked stringbean? Yeah, all the vegetables tasted in their raw state. In my opinion, the corporate office needs to look into this stores best practices and see why the store is so dirty, and why food is undercooked. Another Update: Ordered on-line, arrived at store at designated hour and no food was ready, was told it would be another 10 minutes for the cook to heat up what I had ordered. They seriously need to start calling out to the cook to start heating up more of whatever items is getting low but they don't. This store is just pathetic.

I’m not sure who really is at fault but I placed an order on DoorDash and when I received it two entrees were missing. I tried to call Panda Express 3 times and never got an answer. My DoorDash driver told me he only picks up and delivers. So where do I go from here. I really don’t want to pay for any of it as it was our family dinner.

I came in at about 4 o'clock, the place was empty and the trays were low. I had to wait as they made the Angus dish and as I was sitting a young kid emptying trash told me to wait outside. I was not aware that I couldn't wait in the building, especially when no other customers were there. It was a little awkward because they had to send out a guy that looked like he just started on the job that day to implement the rules. I wish I was told at the time I paid, at the register. I called when I got home because my kung pau chicken was burnt. The person who answered passed me on to a supervisor that was really not interested in what I had to say. "Just bring in the receipt and I'll see what I can do." Unfortunately for me, Ariel, the cashier didn't give me a receipt. Not sure why but they now close at 7pm which is basically the working mans dinner time. If you are unlucky enough to go in close to closing time you get left overs. Won’t be going there anymore I will give my business to the noodle bar or Chopstix better food and they want your business.

Seriously???? FILTHY bathroom. The chicken teriyaki had absolutely NO flavor - at least the chicken was tender! The "walnuts" in the shrimp dish were tiny and hard. NO BOTTLED WATER!!!! And they couldn't confirm whether or not their "fountain water" was filtered -- I could literally taste the chemicals in it!

The location is open for to go only, when I picked up my order I just realize they have given me unwrapped spoons when I didn’t get any type of soup and what is most important, they only allow ten people at a time in the building because of the Covid-19 but they have no problem to give you unwrapped and uncleaned plastic utensils. Wish I could give a better review and for them to also worried about customer service and follow all the proper sanitary measurements.

We ordered the fried rice, chowmien, potsitckers and orange chicken. The orange chicken was the only thing that was okay. The rest of the food had no seasoning at all tasted like a really bad school lunch. It was cold and very bland. I hate to complain but it was a waste of money. Love panda but won't be back at this one.

If anyone loves Panda it's me but this is unacceptable. Yesterday I went and ordered 4 bigger plates and they didn't have any broccoli beef which is fine but once I got home they gave my plate two wrong entrees so I had to go back. And the following day (today), I ordered a bowl and plate and even after I had specified that on the plate was white rice and bowl was fried rice, she began to serve fried rice on the plate only for me to correct her immediately. In the same order as soon as I got home I came to realize they missed an entire entree of teriyaki chicken for my plate. I recommend avoiding this location and going to the one by Trader Joe's because the staff at this location seem to make the same repeated mistakes and show no apparent effort to care or pay attention to customers and their orders.

Food is always great. Gave 1 ⭐.stop asking to donate spare change. Was asked today only for the cashier tell me the bank do not give them coins. Sounds like scam since panda is the only one who still use coin shortage as an excuse to keep your change. Would love to get a reply from the higher ups.

We came in at 8:50 pm and they close at 10 pm on a Sunday. We had to wait about 15 minutes and when we got to the front they said they were making anything else because they are closing soon. It was 9:10 so they had plenty of time to make more teriyaki chicken. They just wanted everyone out ASAP. I get it everyone wants to go home but they have no good customer service and they skimp you out as much as possible! I had to tell them I want more because I’m eating for 2. The girl rolled her eyes. I should of got the name but anyways. This is why they work here, because they have no customer service and probably won’t move up with this kind of attitude. The food is most definitely plain. The worse panda I’ve ever had.

2019- Very good food but disappointed from the portions and the price, I'm sure it's not the employees fault more like the greediness of the franchise owner and corporate thing, that my rating is based on. So I went to seaside location super busy tonight I went in with my 3 kids. I ordered family feast. 5 sides I order chow main and rice 2 orange chicken and beef&broccoli. Additionally I ordered m-white rice m-walnut shrimp & m- kung pao chicken. Now my daughter was crying so I didn’t see when they were putting the food into containers plus long line. So I paid then I checked food in the restaurant and I had 3 chow mains. I told a lady in the front and she went to get me the rice then come back to say That I DID NOT ORDER THE RICE AND THAT I WAS LYING WOW!!!!! Then I leave the 3rd chow main because I didn’t want it. I walk up to the girl who help me I told her it’s rude to say that I was lying when she clearly miss heard. I left mad. Then I come home and served my kids and myself I am pregnant and my daughter started complaining about the orange chicken it was freaking raw!!!!! Week later no call from nobody!!!!!

I was literally starving after driving for hours before stopping here. The manager was serving at this location and gave really small portions. When I open my meal and took a couple bites of rice I saw this black curled hair inside of my food in the fried rice. The food didn't taste right either, as of the recipe wasn't followed or it was old. Completely ruined my day.
