Grateful Bagel

My coworker and I visit this location every day. Everyone is super nice here and the bagels are always excellent, including the croissants. I've tried their iced mocha and a bagel sandwich, they were also very good. Definitely recommend this place, it's a small location, sometimes you have to park on the street and can get crowded. It's definitely worth the wait and effort.

Extremely good Bagel Sandwich at 6am as soon as they opened. I was very happy with the quality of this bagel and the kind attentive service from the staff at 6am. My new favorite bagel place on my way to SFO every month.

Great bagels and staff. Ive been coming here since I was a kid, and it is just as good as ever. Grab a Loxy Lady, or a Pizza Bagel. Maybe get some Shangri-lox schmer to to take home. Lattes are good too... You can't go wrong.

This business has steadily pumped out quality bagels for over 26 years, ever since I was in high school! 😉 It's the perfect spot to swing by on your way to the job and pick up a bit of sustenance to start the day off right..

What a great salted bagel! Delicious! Fresh and light as truly tasty. Great little bagel and coffee shop. A few tables out front to sit down and relax too. Very good!

I've had them at least 4 times and sooo good. Highly recommend for delicious, quick eats! Drinks are on point and pastries are perfect. You can go for a good hot/cold coffee, boba teas or smoothies!

Pesto bagel for the win!!! Sometimes a quick in and out, but it's a great little shop that knows how to crank the numbers thru, so don't be alarmed at a very long line, the wait won't be as bad as you expect. But there is a reason there is a long line, they thrive at the bagel business. I'd stick to the espresso drinks not the Taylor maid coffee, but points for trying to be local on that. Juice selection is decent and every employee there makes a killer sandwich. I've even scored a decent day old pastry there in a rush.

Are you saying you think I take Bagels to seriously!?? I grew up with two bagel stores on one corner. High school Brent and I went out for hot bagels on Saturday night at 10 PM! So as somewhat of a bagel aficionado, I can definitely tell you been here at 7:45 AM eating a fresh but not hot bagel… Two bagels (cinnamon and sesame) , grateful bagel is the real deal! Is it a Brooklyn bagel? No… But it’s properly chewy, moist, crispy outside, perfect texture! And,… On top of the excellent quality of the actual bagel… The employees were so super nice. Can’t wait to come back and try their breakfast Sammies… No wonder engine loves this place… It’s the real deal!

Hands down the best bagel place in the Santa Rosa area! Grateful bagel has a wide variety of delicious bagels and sandwiches that are freshly made. Personally, I would highly recommend the lox bagel (which is filled with smoked salmon). Grateful bagel also has fresh croissants, boba tea, and homemade coffee. It is family owned and the employees there are very friendly! It is located in the center of downtown Sebastopol. Highly recommend!

Great for a quick bite in the morning or afternoon. Sometimes there is a line but it moves quickly. They also have a bulletin board with lots of fliers

We love this place and go often in the mornings and have a great experience. The past few times going in 10-30 minutes before they close we’ve experienced rude&short customer service by staff trying to clean. My suggestion to the owners is close earlier/lock door when done or teach your staff to have a positive pleasant attitude while closing the store down. Sighing, throwing gloves and being short with customers will drive down profits for staff and owner. Maybe they don’t care because that’s definitely the attitude given. Life is good, be happy!

I was in the store today, and the cashier was very grump. she came over and slammed the front door shut. it startled me. she was not very nice. I ordered two plan bagels, one was not fresh or soft. My previous encounters were all pleasant. Absolutely delicious!

I love love love the bagels here. The crew is also very efficient. I usually like to sit outside and enjoy my purchase. But lately it's been really dirty. It needs a good power wash. Please consider doing this. Thank you.

Used to love this place! However last 5 times I’ve been, I get a bagel toasted with cream cheese. Now I like a lot of cream cheese but, the cheese is just slapped on super thick in the middle and is all cold 😕 idk who the culprit cheese spreader is but it feels like the most minimal effort went into actually spreading out the cream cheese. Bagel was awesome, service is fast, I just hope the new staff knows they need to take the extra two seconds and spread out that cheese please 🙏🤙

Nice staff, very good bagels. The texture is right - a little dense and a little chewy. Coffee is okay (they have an espresso machine and use Taylor coffees) but it's not really their selling point.

I felt like I was an invisible old person. Asked others that came in after me if they had ordered yet, didn't feel good.

I love this place and food but I'm so sick and tired of them getting my family's order wrong and missing stuff. I drive from Santa Rosa to go here because I like this one but after today I will never go back and I go there once every week. I ordered a de'mere and they didn't even put the meat or cheese on it. I also ordered 2 extra begals and a sweet item and they didn't even include it in my bag. I tried calling 2 times and when I tried leaving a message they hung up on me. I'm so mad not only because this happens almost every time we go there but I even tipped them for doing their jobs and they couldn't even do that right.

It used to be really good, but even on the days that were not busy, our order would get messed up. We're vegan and a few times they gave us regular cream cheese which resulted in us getting sick! The usual people who have worked here for years are AMAZING!!! But the newest people is where there's problems. There's a lady here who always gets our order wrong and its frustrating- cheese bagels when we asked for sea salt, regular cream cheese when we asked for vegan. Wrong smoothie (we can't have seeds) when asked for a different one we can have. I'm trying it out today after a long hiatus. Let's hope it got better!

What a disappointing bagel. Baking a disc of bread dough with a hole in the middle does not a bagel make. Where is crisp exterior? Where is the dense, chewy texture? In an area known for good bread baking, how is it possible to get this so wrong??? Also, $4.50 for a bagel and schmear is highway robbery (especially for a “bagel” this bad). Service was quick and friendly enough.

I wish this place was good. We try to give it the benefit of the doubt and have come back a few times when we just need a fast breakfast. The bagels are fine but the eggs sandwich always leaves me wishing I hadn't paid that much for such a poorly made sandwich. And it's dirty... Get the bagels and make your eggs or bacon at home. Not worth the disappointment.

Then the staff let three people order at the counter to my right before I said something. Another customer profusely apologized to me for cutting me. I said no worries, I was just confused about how to place an order. Two staff members looked me in the eye as this exchange was happening. Both said nothing. Eventually I got embarrassed at being ignored, and just walked out of the store. Idk if it was personal. I had been here twice before and always ordered at the register and always tipped. Hurt my feelings tbh lol.

I asked for a caramel machiatto, and it was bland and bitter. The bagel was passable. Dry and carelessly compiled, but edible. The small space became crowded and triggered my anxiety. Overall, not worth the drive.
