Our first night in Sedona we wanted to have smoked brisket and we decided to dine in this restaurant. We walked in and was greeted by the host. There was a thirty minute wait so we decided to dine at the bar which was no wait. We were by bar attendant and decided to get local drinks. We ordered brisket with cole slaw and loaded potatoes I order the house special smoke short rice with mashed potatoes we also got biscuits and charded brussle sprouts. The entire experience was great and the food was delicious. Great ambiance and decor. I recommend this place if you want smoked food!!!
We ordered the deviled eggs, brisket and salmon. All of the food was phenomenal. The salmon is close to the best I have ever had. The truffle fries are in the top three that we have ever enjoyed. The brisket has a light smoked flavor. Our waitress (Toni) was absolutely amazing. From the time we walked into the building we had absolutely nothing but the best experience! The food is well priced for the quality that you receive. Definitely come visit this restaurant and enjoy a great meal!
We stopped by this steakhouse without a reservation. Lou Ann went above and beyond to make room for us. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from the moment we walked in. Our server Mario checked on us regularly without being intrusive, and the overall atmosphere felt relaxed and friendly. The food was excellent, but the standout was truly the service—we felt valued despite being walk-ins. We’ll definitely be coming back, and next time, we might even plan ahead… but it’s nice to know they take such good care of guests.
This is our 1st visit to Sedona. We saw the Stagecoach Smokehouse and decided to have dinner here. We are so glad we did. The country cornbread was awesome. My wife and I decided to have baby back ribs. You get 6 ribs and they are HUGE. My wife had fries and slaw as her sides and she loved the slaw. I had fries and corn ribs. I had heard of corn ribs but had never had them. They are seasoned fried ribs of corn with seasoning on them and they were delicious. Everything was hot and fresh. The service was outstanding. If you decide to try the Stagcoach Smokehouse because the portions are huge. They have two large offset smokers out front and I wondered if they were for looks. The thought was put to rest when I saw an employee pulling pork butter off the smoker. So this is a legit smokehouse. If you are every in Sedona, you do not want to pass up the Stagcoach Smokehouse.
We brought a group of 6 here for dinner, and Stagecoach was fantastic all around. Our group was a mix—half Sedona locals and half visiting from out of state—and every single person left happy. The food was the star of the show. The brisket was absolutely amazing; tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. We also started with the deviled eggs, which were delicious and a perfect way to begin the meal. Everything that came to our table was a hit. Just as impressive was the service. Our server was incredibly attentive and friendly, making our entire experience wonderful from start to finish. It's great to find a place that appeals to everyone. We will definitely be back!
Easily the best BBQ we’ve ever had. And our server, LouAnn, was so lovely/friendly/accommodating. She made the meal a special and memorable event. We left stuffed and elated. Highly recommend the potato skins, deviled eggs, ribs, pulled pork, carrot cake, and the cornbread!
Every time I come in, the drinks are on point, the food is spectacular, and the staff is always attentive. I usually go with the ribeye (my go-to), and it never disappoints. This time I switched it up and tried the surf and turf and it was absolutely excellent! Highly recommend
Stagecoach – Smokehouse & BBQ delivers truly authentic smoked BBQ with excellent flavor. The meats are slow-smoked to perfection, tender and juicy with a deep, rich smokiness that you can taste in every bite. The seasoning is well balanced, letting the natural flavor of the meat shine without being overpowering. Portions are satisfying, and the overall quality reflects real, traditional BBQ techniques. If you’re looking for genuine smokehouse-style barbecue in Sedona, this place is absolutely worth a stop.
We got a wedge salad with brisket. The meat has a good smoke ring with bark. The food was fresh and well presented.
I highly recommend this restaurant. The food tasted amazing. The smoked deviled eggs and portobello fries were creative and delicious. I had the Loaded Gun Board plus brisket and this Texas girl thought it was respectable. We also had the bison short ribs the portion on this plate was smaller but the flavor was good. Our waiter was so nice and he made excellent recommendations.
Stopped here last night and ordered the Brisket platter. The brisket was average at best, sauce and Napa Coleslaw was excellent. This is not your typical BBQ place (High End) Brisket was a little dry and not so tender. For the price, I was expecting a Leroy & Lewis or a Franklin’s quality brisket but the brisket ended up as average. 😢
Corn chowder was amazing! Wedge salad, cornbread, and hash bowl were all good too. Services was great. Loved this place.
What a wonderful surprise, No boring bar food here, instead the menu is full of delicious elevated classics with a southwestern twist. We felt like we were keeping dinner pretty simple when we ordered Cesar salads with steak on the side, and some deviled eggs. The meal that we received was both beautiful and delicious. The deviled eggs have a plenty of tang and the smoky bacon makes them really special, and the presentation was 🤩 SO FUN! The Cesar salad has lots of little tweaks that make it feel southwestern but it's still recognizably a Caesar salad. I especially enjoyed the fire roasted corn mixed in. The standout for the night was the steak accompaniment, to the Cesar. I like that they served the steak sliced but on the side of the salad rather than on top. As for flavor, I've literally never had better. Smokey, juicy, well flavored seasoning, but it still tasted like beef. Absolutely five stars!!! I'm so glad we ran into chef Jonathan on our way out the door so we could thank him for preparing such a wonderful meal.
We came to town to celebrate our toddlers 3rd birthday and chose to eat at Stagecoach on a Saturday late afternoon. The restaurant has a clean, upscale feel with windows facing the beautiful red mountains. Our server was Cindy and she was by far the best server we have ever had, and that says a lot as we are major foodies and I have spent 14 years in the service industry in The Valley. She was so personable, sweet, attentive and went above and beyond for us and especially for our kiddo. It truly made a huge difference in us fully enjoying our meal having such a happy, satisfied and distracted kiddo thanks to Cindy. Additionally, our food was incredible. We had 2 orders of the smoked deviled eggs, the cornbread, the corn chowder soup, Mac n cheese, truffle fries, T-bone steak and the slow cooked bison short rib. Every dish was great and so full of flavor with wonderful presentation. The corn chowder was the best we've ever had and truly left me wanting the whole pot! The truffle fries were also a favorite. We were also very satisfied with our entrees. Lastly, I had the margarita flight and also loved it! You guys earned lifelong customers from us. Thank you so much for such an awesome experience. (Also we have a very sweet video of Cindy and our daughter when we were singing happy birthday and she was helping her with putting chocolate chips on her ice cream if management/she would like a copy of it!)
Very nice open atmosphere. The servers were very friendly and attentive. Fast service and a very fresh food. The hot was hot and the cold was cold. I had a brisket which was moist and smoky delicious. I upgraded the french fries to the roasted broccoli which was a great choice because it was amazing and only a dollar!
Ive been to sedona dozens of times and don't know how i missed this gem! The vibe at Stagecoach was great, and the service was on point! Definitely had that Southern hospitality feeling (complete with lots of "Sure, love" and "You got it, darlins", from the waitress). Our dinner was delicious and HUGE.
Love this place! Stage Coach is one of my favorite spots in Sedona. Chucky is always so attentive and makes great drinks! definitely ask for one of his recommendations. They have happy hour and a 4-course roadhouse early dinner, both offered daily from 3-6. The food is deliciously crafted with so much flavor. It’s truly a must-visit when you’re in town!
Great place for western atmosphere with a clean modern look. Caesars salad is enough for two, and very tasty. BBQ bacon burger is delicious.
Holy moly this place was insanely tasty. Bit slow on the refills but I’m a beverage chugger so that’s more a me problem than a them problem. Food was very very tasty, dessert all the same. Would highly recommend
Great Takeout Experience – Flavorful Food & Outstanding Staff We stopped by Stagecoach in Sedona for a quick takeout dinner and were pleasantly surprised on every front. The atmosphere inside was more upscale than the name might suggest, with a warm, inviting vibe. Walking in, we were greeted by the mouthwatering aroma from the smoker working out front—it definitely set the tone for the meal. The staff was absolutely top-notch: friendly, welcoming, and super helpful as we placed our order. We picked up a burger with fries and a Southwest Caesar salad. The burger, served on a fresh brioche bun, was a hit with our daughter—juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. My wife loved the Caesar salad, especially the roasted corn cut straight off the cob that gave it a unique, delicious twist. Overall, it was a fantastic takeout experience and we’d definitely go back to dine in next time!
Absolutely amazing experience! The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch from start to finish. I had one of the best steaks I've ever tasted — perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for quality food and outstanding service!
Really great bbq- Very flavorful brisket. Most beautiful presentation of bbq food and classy yet casual atmosphere
Nancy r server did a fantastic job going over the menu with us... what an incredible experience... the food was beyond delicious!!! We went for my girlfriend's birthday... she had the filet Mignon, which was beyond delicious. And I had the buttermilk, fried chicken sandwich...
Ate at the bar and my brisket sando was delicious. Fries were fine, but I didn’t come for fries and still enjoyed my meal. Finished with carrot cake dessert and called it a night. Friendly bartender, nice big TV and classy yet casual sit down restaurant. Definitely recommend. Thanks!
Smoked prime rib (only on the weekends) was delicious. The ribeye cooked perfectly. And the deviled eggs were a tasty starter. Busy enough for a Saturday but not enough where you won’t get a table or a seat at the bar unlike uptown Sedona. Which is great if you’re like us and don’t always make reservations super far in advance. And it won’t break the $$$. Our service was attended by Cindy who was just great to talk to and made dinner a special experience. Thank you so much! Would love to return.
We were undecided it was my birthday. I chose this place this place. Top notch! Our waiter was great ! The food was great! Mushroom fries , Ribs , Fish It was was a nice treat. I highly recommend this place!
Very delicious Ribs and Brisket . Coming from Reno, NV where we have the best in the west rib cookoff annually, we've tried alot of ribs . Trying Stagecoach Ribs were easily some of my favorite. The blend of bbq sauce , seasoning and smoke flavor was perfect . The Brisket was also cooked to perfection . We had the Smoked Blueberry Cobbler for dessert . It was so good . Not too sweet , just sweet enough. Very friendly staff . The chef came out and we were able to compliment him .
I started with the smoked lemon pepper wings and smoked wings are the only wings I will ever eat now. The smoky flavor comes through and the wings were perfectly juicy! The brisket was the special on Saturday night so of course I had to try it and it was delicious! The sides were just as good with some of the best macaroni and cheese I’ve ever had as well as some tasty parmesan truffle fries that were perfectly crispy. The prime rib with the crispy onion strips was also very good. I love that the crispy onion strips are half garnish/half side. I had the chocolate chip cookie with ice cream and it was so delicious and made to order! The service was great and I’d recommend this restaurant to everyone.
Great service and great food. The baby back ribs were cooked perfectly and the wedge salad was fresh and delicious. Great spot to swing in for lunch or even a few drinks.
Absolutely Outstanding Service from Amanda! My experience at Stagecoach in Sedona was amazing from start to finish, and a huge part of that was thanks to our incredible server, Amanda. From the moment we sat down, she greeted us with such genuine warmth and made us feel right at home. She was friendly, professional, and clearly knew the menu inside and out — giving great recommendations that did not disappoint. Amanda checked on us just the right amount of times — never intrusive, but always there when we needed something. Our drinks were refilled quickly, our food came out hot and perfectly timed, and she made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. You can tell she truly enjoys what she does and takes pride in making sure her guests have a great experience. The food at Stagecoach was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxed with that perfect Sedona charm, but Amanda’s service really elevated the whole evening. It’s rare to find that combination of attentiveness, kindness, and professionalism — she nailed it. If you visit Stagecoach, ask for Amanda. She’ll make your dining experience unforgettable. We’ll definitely be back!
We celebrated a Valentines Day Dinner date here and it was our first time coming! I really enjoyed the setting they had. Very sultry with some western flair. We were greeted very sweetly by a young lady who informed us they were running a bit late on reservation seating. We had a reservation at 8pm, and got seated around 8:15pm. I think it was just our booth but it was spaced for a very tiny person, which I and my boyfriend are not (LOL), lil bit of a squeeze. Service was great but a tad slow. Speaking of how busy they were, we chalked it off as that. The food was honestly fabulous. I got the Filet Mignon with asparagus and my boyfriend got the Bert’s Smoked Chicken. My steak was cooked perfectly, and so was his chicken. The seasonings they use are top tier and bring out the flavor in their food so well! On the way home we could not stop saying how good and fulfilling the meal was. Such a great experience overall even within the chaos of the holiday. Thanks!!
We had to wait for awhile because someone must have called out, but the food was fabulous and our server Tori was so attentive and kind. We had a great experience! Swordfish was phenomenal as was the brisket and salmon, had a great Brussels sprouts dish, and the drinks were great too 😊
Great place to go and have a great meal. We sat closer to the bar area to take advantage of the TVs while the fights were on. The prime rib was cooked to perfection. We also got the Mac n cheese which was also very tasty. The bar servers actually stay on top of their tables constantly, which was really nice. Highly recommend.
We sat outside on the upstairs patio which gave you a pretty view of the red rock mountain across the way. It was happy hour so all of the appetizers were $10. We tried the wings and cornbread. Both were great. I had the pulled pork sandwich with fries. We also ordered an additional side for the corn ribs and they were very good. The others with me had the ribs, the swordfish sandwich and the brisket sandwich. We were all very happy with everything.
We weren't sure what to expect, but we were really surprised how good this place was. The loaded gun board and the deviled eggs were great. We shared them as a family and loved it. Plus we finished the meal off with a top notch smoke cobbler. If you are in the area I recommend Stagecoach highly.
Stopped in late afternoon on NYE after a hike. The food was delicious and very plentiful. Best corn chowder I've ever had. The service was amazing. I would definitely go back next time I'm in Sedona
The whiskey flight was excellent and fun. The wedge salad was phenomenal.. the sausage was excellent the pulled pork and the baby back ribs were good, but we've had better. The cornbread was to die for. The ambiance was lacking as the walls and floor did not seem like it had good decor, almost like a banquet hall.
This is such a nice spot! Atmosphere is great, aesthetically thoughtful, music perfect for place, and is clean, staff were friendly and very attentive! Small detail of nap wipes before meal is nice! This was our second visit and my husband chose the pulled pork plate and I had the 1/2 soup & salad. Mine was perfect size portion and it was good for lunch. The pork had a little too much sauce on it compared to when I had it previously so wasn’t as tasty. All in all good place to eat. This was for lunch
For heading home today from our short over night trip we decided to stop in and check out Stagecoach. What a beautiful restaurant. We came at a later lunch time to a pretty empty place, but it filled up quickly. Our server came over pretty quick with some drink orders and menus. We decided to start with the deviled eggs. We also ordered the Benedict brunch option, chicken tenders, the loaded gun board and hash bowl. Service started out great and the places smelled amazing. We got hungrier by the minute. Unfortunately at this point it went a bit downhill. It wasn’t awful, but service went a bit down hill. We never received our starter until our meals came. So while we are a few of the eggs we had to focus on our meals before they got cold. I loved the brisket on the Benedict but sauce was a bit sweeter than I’d like. The potatoes with the peppers were amazing! I typically loathe breakfast potatoes but these were delicious and seasoned well. I loved them. The eggs were good and o really enjoyed the added cucumber slice at the base. It gave it a nice crunch. My son however dislike the chicken tenders. He took one bite and that was it. He said the flavors were off and just felt overcooked. I only got picture of my food. I was starving. Everyone else did enjoy their meal. I will say it was pretty pricy for lunch, but again you’re paying for Sedona vibes. Once our meal was delivered we never saw our waitress again until we had to wave her down.. All in all I’d come again, but hope for better service on a pretty empty restaurant. I will say also say the girl training was great. Atleast I think she was. The parking lot was a breeze an an easy way in and out back to the highway.
Great place for burgers and BBQ. You should probably make a reservation. We didn't but got lucky in that we arrived right before a rush. It's along 89A and has a large parking lot. There is a huge smoker right up front where they cook the BBQ and it smells great. The restaurant is huge inside but doesn't really ha e a lot of seating. The decor is western themed and the lighting is pretty low. Food was mostly really good and service was attentive. I had a brisket sandwich and it was incredible. Perfectly moist with a smokey flavor. My wife had a salad and enjoyed it; my son had a burger and gave it a thumbs up. The lone dissenter was my daughter who said the mac and cheese was bland. Pricing is standard Sedona (expensive for what it is) especially drinks. So no points deducted since it is what it is. I would go back and order BBQ.
If you see the place from outside you wouldn't have guessed the quality of the food and how nice the place looks inside, and how big it is. The food was super good, especially the smoked chicken, the corn chowder and the salmon. I was mad that considering this is a "family place" they don't have a baby changing table. I had to take my 13month old baby to the car and change him at 36 degrees outside. If you have the space (which you do) please, it doesn't cost a lot to install a changing table. This being said, the manager and server were super nice and apologetic about this.
Wonderful food. Great hostess! Best cornbread I’ve ever had!
Excellent food a bit spicy. Brisket and wings were both great. Very nice atmosphere, clean and modern.
It's a Nice BBQ place with great atmosphere and great service. I love good BBQ so here is my honest review. For appetizers we got the Deviled Eggs and the Corn chowder. Those two appetizers were a highlight of our dinner. Very good Deviled eggs and extremely good corn chowder. Very impressed. As for the BBQ I ordered the BBQ board which had pulled pork, Ribs, sausage, coleslaw, and Cornbread. I also added Brisket to the board. The cornbread and mango butter was absolutely stunning, so good that we ordered a side to go. the coleslaw was very unique and was made with kale. An interesting, unique and tasty version of traditional BBQ Coleslaw. The Sausage was amazing one of the better smoked sausages I have had at a BBQ restaurant. Not overly rich, yet full of flavor. The Pulled pork was a bit watery with decent taste. It seemed to be lacking in Flavor. The Ribs had a nice smokey flavor as well as the brisket but they were both a bit overcooked. The service was A Tier as well as the atmosphere was upscale and pleasant. StageCoach gets an overall score of 4.
Some things were great some were not. Deviled Eggs looked cool but were pretty bland to the taste. They needed more pickled flavor. The Mac and cheese was bad, skip that. The cheese was like pure Velveeta. The pulled pork was great. Good smoky flavor, almost like Hawaiian luau pork. Ribs were great, I liked the bbq sauce. The sauce was sweet with a little kick. The sausage was good. The brisket was not good, and that is usually my favorite. In fact we added it to the loaded gun plate just because I like it so much. But I'd pass on the brisket. It was tough and dry. The corn bread was good but tastes vary a lot on corn bread. This bread was slightly sweet with a little jalapeno kick.
Well visiting Sedona we decided to drop into stagecoach for dinner. We had the salmon and brisket sandwich. We also ordered some cornbread. The salmon and brisket sandwich were good the highlight of the plates was the coleslaw. The highlight of the entire meal was the cornbread It was very good A little sweet a little spicy and the butter added some awesome flavor. Our server Jen was very friendly and always made sure we had drink refills. The interior of the restaurant was dark and seemed empty maybe an update of the decor would be nice. I know it's in Sedona but the prices were a bit high for the quality.
Pretty dead for a Sunday night. The winds were very tough but the chicken sandwich was great! Our check was dropped without asking if we wanted another drink, so we just left.
While waiting and approach the Maître D, he asked do you have reservations, while he wore jeans and polo shirt. I had a barbecue brisket which is cooked very well. Meat was fatty more so than usual. Served with fries and coleslaw. Coleslaw was good. French fries. I would rate a little McDonald’s. My wife had baby back ribs, which were very good too again the same below our McDonald fries were served with it. we had a couple different types of desserts, which were prepared very well and tasted great. In fact we even bought additional one to take home all in all we paid $165 which to be was probably about $40 too much considering the only thing we’re eating was the dessert in the meat. When I go back probably not mostly because of the price if I won’t pay that much I want a good meal or a great meal.
While in Sedona I was wanting some BBQ so I came here and for what I payed I could have had a better tasting meal at the Whole Foods across the street. I hate when I try new places and I waste my money. Portions were tiny and barely even feel like I ate anything. I didn't even picture the food because it wasn't photo worthy at all. The sauce they gave with the fries was spicy. The bun was very soggy and was not aware otlf the coleslaw topping... the menu does not say topped with. Anyways server was nice enough so I did tip $3 even though he could have offered a new sandwich.
02/15/26 We were really looking forward to trying the ribs at this restaurant, but unfortunately the experience turned out to be quite disappointing. After being seated, we were told while ordering that the ribs were not available and would take over 30 minutes. It wasn’t clear whether they were out of stock and waiting for a delivery, or if they simply required a long preparation time. Since we were hungry, we decided to order a sandwich and a sausage instead, and the waitress assured us these would come out quickly. About 40 minutes later, she returned to say that the ribs were now available and would take another 10 minutes. Confused and frustrated, we asked about the food we had already ordered, only to be told that the kitchen never received our order because the printer had run out of paper. This was quite surprising and disappointing, especially given that the restaurant was not busy. To add to the confusion, a glass of wine my friend ordered arrived about 25 minutes, brought by a different waiter, who casually mentioned that if my friend didn’t like it, it would be “on the house" - which was unsual. like why wouldn't it be good in the first place?! is smth wrong with the wine? After all this, we decided to leave — still hungry and honestly quite puzzled by the whole experience. It was disorganized, unclear, and far from what we expected.
