I timed my leaving wrong and got caught up in heavy lunch traffic. I ordered a #7 along with 6 more chopped sandwiches to take back to Louisiana for the family to enjoy. I've been eating here since I was a kid and it's usually my first stop when I hit San Antonio. For one they have great "SWEET TEA"! I've been coming here for the chopped sandwiches and sweet tea for over 30 years and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I enjoyed the hell out of this place. The counter service was super friendly and I watched in the kitchen as my food was being readied, which didn’t take long at all, and everyone in there was working hard and efficiently. The young lady who took my order was SO nice and genuinely friendly. And when I got my food, it was SO good. I will for sure be back the next time I’m in the area.

I was passing through from San Antonio on my way to Houston. I ordered some food which included a large soup. They did not give me the soup which was charged to me. I was contacted by the area manager and she provided me with a gift card and apologized for the oversight. I appreciate her taking the time to make things right. I will definitely come back and dine there again.

Taylor works your drive thru most mornings. She is sweet and funny, pays attention to her customers and always has a smile on her face. She knows every time I'm pulling up to the window. I had pulled into McDonald's to get breakfast, and I seen a sign in front of me that said "Breakfast at Bill Millers." I said let me go over and see what Bill Miller's got going on. I got 3 breakfast tacos with some homemade salsa that turned my world upside down. Meat, gravy, taters, eggs, all the food groups were covered. Even if you gotta drive across town, it's worth the effort to come see what Bill Miller's got going on.

Probably the best BBQ chains in Texas. The food and service is always consistent. They have hash browns that are outstanding. I don’t know why they call them that because they are not traditional hash browns. I have always called them pan fried potatoes. Potatoes with onions. Awesome! You can’t find them anywhere else. They have great sandwiches. I like the bbq chicken sandwich also fried chicken sandwich. Great sweet tea. They have a small self serve pickle, onions, peppers, sauce bar.

Great variety of menu items and prices are reasonable. Love that they greet you when you come in and thank you when you go out. Like home. I look for that when I go to other states.And sometimes it happens in sometimes it doesn't.

1st time eating here. I checked the reviews and decided to give it a try. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. The portions were a nice size and everything tasted good. We had breakfast from there this morning and it was all so good! Little lady at the window is always so nice and sweet. We like that they have someone at the drive thru taking your order and you can pay with card so then you pull up to window and just receive your food. Seems to go fast, haven’t had to be stuck in a line.

I had the rancher plate with two leg quarters (BBQ/baked), sausage, green beans, and potato salad with three jalapeños. I got the half and half iced tea. You could buy a 10 piece white meat fried chicken and it's not over expensive it comes with large dinner roll. And one side it could be french fries or the beans they sell macaroni and cheese and they have other things and you're not spending that much churches and Kentucky charge like crazy but this place you can go home and feel like you did and just burned buy a restaurant

I got my order very quickly, set it down on the table - went to wash my hands- looked at the table and gasped- my $30 order had been thrown away. On the positive side - it's very clean in there! The lady felt bad and quickly brought me some spare BBQ and fries ... But I had ordered a sandwich. Oh well. Still good quality food! Also, having some extra BBQ sauce out somewhere would have made it even better . One more thing - the Coleslaw is bitter. Not traditional at all.

Always a mainstaple when looking to get breakfast tacos made to your choice. For example, potato and egg, sausage and egg or bacon and egg, biscuits and gravy, etc. The choices are usually pretty good. We had a good visit here, as we were greeted upon entry. Our orders taken, and food was prepared quickly, we gathered our condiments (salsa, etc.) from the condiments bar area, and we sat and had a good meal. I think the only downside I saw is that the tacos and the flour tortillas were good. Unfortunately, I think the portions were a little bit undersized and very small for the tortilla size. So either shrink the tortilla to make it look like you're getting more or increase the portion size that you're putting in the tortilla. I personally would add more than just a scoop of the ingredient (maybe try a scoop and a half). Otherwise, the service was good, and the food tastes delicious and the salsa provided has nice flavor too.

The place has a nice atmosphere but the food was amazing. I've eaten at Bill Miller's in different areas but this one was by far the best I've had. The only downfall was that we waited a good bit to get our food but over all it was a good experience.

Any time I’m in San Antonio, I make it a point to stop at Bill Miller Bar-B-Q, and I’ve never had a bad experience. The place is consistently busy, which says a lot, and the BBQ has always been reliable and satisfying. The staff is typically friendly and attentive, even when they’re clearly handling a large crowd specifically the one off I-10 in Sequin. I gave four stars only because they often seem swamped, which can make the dining area a little messy at times. I’ve also had BBQ in other places that I would rank slightly higher, but Bill Miller’s is still solid and dependable, which is exactly what you expect from a high-volume restaurant. One thing they do exceptionally well is keeping the line moving. Even when it’s packed, I’m usually in and out quickly, which is important since most of my visits are during business trips. They’ve never let me down, and I’ll definitely continue stopping in whenever I’m in the area.

The first time that I tried the e chicken fried stake, it was not the worst but I definitely won't order it again at Bill Millers. I usually order the brisket but unfortunately, the price has gone up but the amount of meat has gone down not worth the money. I don't believe I'll be going back to any Bill Millers any time soon, not because they're bad it's just getting so pricey & chintzy on the proportion of food you receive. But we all know this is happening in most places.

I had the chicken-fried steak which had some issues, specifically the meat was hard to find and the breading was everywhere. My wife got the brisket plate and the brisket was good I should have traded it in for that. I felt adventurous to try something new. Beans and green beans had pork and we do not eat it. How about a brisket-in-the-beans option?

My group of six came in while we were traveling between San Antonio and Houston. Bill Miller seemed like the right place to stop. Menu looked great and the atmosphere was simple and welcoming. We ordered and waited. And waited. After 45 minutes, we asked if there was an issue with our order. Two of our colleagues ordered before us and had finished eating. The rest of us had no food. Apparently, they "forgot" to make our order...for four people! The Chicken Fried Steak was great. The brisket was good. Other than waiting it was nice. Just very annoying for four hungry and overly patient guys.

It's difficult to keep good employees these days, I know. So I try not to complain too much about service anymore, unless it's despicable. This location has had its problems. I want to believe BM does care, and wants to put a quality product with good service out there. Let's hope it gets better. BM has been around for a long time for good reason.

Sweet tea was good as always. Food tasted good but... The Po Boy was extra soggy, the bun on the chicken sandwich was stale. One of two Brisket tacos barely had any meat and both tortillas were stale and dry. Sweet tea was good as always. I love Bill Millers, but there seems to be lack of quality control at this location.

If you like gas station type food, I guess you will like this place. Not a fan at all considering Texas is the BBQ capital. I’d suggest staying away from chains and stick with true BBQ places.

I appreciate that this bill millers is close to my house.However, every time I order something, I notice that on the receipt, they understood,but when I get home and open the bag , there's always something missing. I wish they would do a double check on what the receipt says and what is in the bag prior to giving the bag to the customer. If i have been waiting in along line, I really don't want to stay there and open the bag and check my bag each time. I kind of just want to get my food and go home and hope that they are accurate in what I ordered since it is on the receipt and was charged for it. It's one thing when it happens only a few times throughout the year, but it's starting to happen more frequently where it's like I come home and I'm disappointed that I paid $2 here and $3 there for extra items and then they're not even there. It is very inconvenient for me to drive back after setting in to eat (breakfast, lunch, or dinner) getting through SH46 traffic to go back for one extra item. Managers please step up quality and accurate through for your drive through customers.

We have visited a Bob Miller BBQ but not in Seguin, Tx. This was different it was more fast food than anything. In our opinion the Barbecue was not smoked or cooked on any pit. The food was ok we have definitely had better. We got the Rodeo 3 meats 3 sides that’s a lot of food you will take a to go plate home. They a variety of food like chicken tenders, fried chicken and fries! We enjoyed the atmosphere. The service was good minus one young lady for some reason was not very friendly, I waited for her to help me and she decided to ask the gentleman behind if he needed anything and skipped over me. I thought ok. At that point the hound lady in the back taking food out asked me if I had been helped she I told her no and she kindly helped me! Needless to say to say over all it was ok.

There is many locations throughout Texas. Do not try the chopped bbq sandwich. Terrible. I returned and got the pulled pork sandwich. Much better! Good sweet tea. If you want bbq you must ask for it.

Pretty disappointed with Bill Miller’s today. I’m not usually a fan, but decided to give it a shot and grab some breakfast tacos. Turns out—they’re out of eggs and bacon. No apology, just a flat “we’re out.” So I settle for three bean and cheese tacos… not exactly exciting. I ask for hot sauce, get home—no hot sauce. And to top it off, my wife’s food was half warm and half cold. Just a frustrating experience all around. Not sure why I gave it another shot. Won’t be making that mistake again anytime soon.

It was the first time I was trying this place and maybe the last time. I have tried their taco and my expectations was high! But unfortunately the Bar-B_Q was not good at all. Well..... i cant say it was the worst 20 bucks i ever spent... but it was sure close... sorry i didn't take a before pic... but i could t eat any more... disappointed for sure... mac n chez was the best part of the meal... beans were good too... the brisket and turkey... . Wont be a next time..!!!

My dogs eat better food than this. Brisket, hard and no flavor. Sausage was ok. Sides were horrible. Beans tasted like they poured them out of a can and heated them, no flavor. Macaroni and cheese tasted like cardboard. Potatoe salad was edible. I feel like y'all have never heard of seasoning. Hate I wasted $20 because there's a McDonald's right next door.

Fat and dried up brisket is what I was served for breakfast. Even more unfortunate. this is not the first time but it surely will be the last

Bland. Cold food. Sweet tea and fries were the best part of my two meat plate.

Embarrassed to call this Texas BBQ. Lots of fat with no smoke flavor. Seems fried chicken is their specialty. Have lost my business forever.

Keep giving this place a chance back to back. So far I’m getting upset every time I get my order. I order number 2 and every single time I get skin, bones and mainly crust! If you are into skin and bones then you are the right place :)…. Chicken Express is a better option and just around the corner. Disclaimer I’m not getting paid by Chicken Express or getting anything out of Chicken Express for saying this. just my personal experience.. and hopefully I won’t come back unless I’m just too hungry to care about my eating standards….

Update: August 7th, 2025. They don't do coffee online. OMG they put the brownies in the bag with hot foods. I've never order dessert before either unless I eat inside but it's been years I had dessert from there. Who in the world does that? Dried up old sandwich cause they forgot my sauce on the side. First time I order online for pickup too. Can't trust anyone anymore. Eating inside or ordering from drive thru is better. I'm very disappointed. I hope they don't do this to everyone who orders online.

Got home, paid for 15 chicken tenders, received 10. Got all fries my sandwiches and apple pie. Service was great up till I got home and had minus the amount I had ordered. The second time this has happened... got home with less. Work over there , don't live near here. He said: Give it back to you now or later date --- is not the point. Ordered sweet tea for the family -there was little pieces of plastic floating on top threw it out.Have a picture. This is after I had called them the first time. Won't be going back. Never again! Oh , when I told him what happened... He said like...can't believe that happened. I don't want free or extra food. Just ask him for what I paid for and no plastic.

I go there repeatedly, so guess it was only a matter of time before something like this happened... Ordered the #9 chicken sandwich for the road. And when I opened it the meat barely even fit half the bun :( I had to move it around to make it feel like I had whole sammich lol

This is first time visiting this location. I ordered the Rodeo 3 meat plate with brisket, ribs, and sausage—the sides mac and cheese, coleslaw, and potato salad. So, the coleslaw had too much black pepper, and it was scorched. The potato salad had no seasoning or color for adequate presentation. The mac and cheese were good. The BBQ was not good. I would have disrespected myself if I had finished that plate. I literally would not have given it to a homeless person. The BBQ is disrespectful to Texas and the people. Com'on when you sell BBQ, you are representing the state of Texas. This is not something you just throw any cook on. I hate to put this location on the spot, but its BBQ.

There is absolutely no reason why a customer has to wait over 20 minutes for their order.Just because truck was late.That's not an excuse. Do your job without excuses cause that makes the look bad. Jeez!

Bought a salad thru drive thru with chicken tenders when open it received a half salad only one tender.

Bad cut brisket and found hair inside the meal( ordered to go) Staff not polite and no patience. I was first time customer. I just can not believe among so many bbq places that they don't even try to be better... will not come back again

It's not the worst tasting BBQ in Texas, and it's definitely not in the top 1000 either. No refills on drinks, it appears. You have to go to the cashier to find out. It would just make me mad if she tried to charge me. I only spent $29 for my meal, so I should not be such a hassle to get a refill of unsweetened tea. Yesterday's BBQ was served, no doubt. Maybe older than yesterday. I'm just hoping I don't get sick on the way home. Oh yeah, I ordered two PC of fried chicken to go with my BBQ platter. They were tiny little pieces, I mean really? The chicken vendor sells grade A size, and yet Bill Miller buys grade D- tiny size. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. Staff was not overly welcoming either. I WILL NEVER EVER EAT AT A BM AGAIN!!!!!

Check your tea! Went through the DT , ordered a bucket of sweet tea. Got home only to find a bunch of stuff floating around in the tea. Not sure what it was, thread? Hair? Plastic? Either way I had to throw it out. Normally the tea is very good.

Food was dry and fries were burnt. They ran out of sweet tea and made us wait for our food when a person after us that ordered got their food first. Manager didn't show any concern and seem to be in a rush to close up instead of taking care of his customers that were there.

Walked in, no one was at the counter for a while to place an order. They gave us bones for chicken… total waste of money. When I got down the road and saw that…I felt very ripped off and we were hungry. The wedges were cold. Wasn’t the bill milled I’ve ever experienced although it’s been years since Ive lived around one. Perhaps business has went down in quality. I couldn’t find a trash can in there no were. It was a strange visit. Never again!!

Really???? After a 30 minute wait in the drive-through and $13 later this is the quality that we got. This is ridiculous. Bill Miller’s needs to take pride in their presentation service and value, but it’s clear they have lost their focus. Honestly this is pretty freaking sad

This location should not be on the side of I-10!!!! With 1 person ahead of me, I thought I would be in & out.....instead I waited 40 mins for a small order. That's not acceptable. After 30 minutes I asked for a refund so I could leave & I was told the manager had to do that so I asked how long would that take & I was told "I don't know". Really?!?! And after waiting all that time the cashier went to the back to check on my order & brought out a tray of food. I looked at her & told her my oder was for To-Go. & I went back to waiting again & got to watch a girl wipe her nose with her hand that had a glove on it & she didn't take the glove off , she just went back to the kitchen & started handling food. Extremely gross. For being a restaurant right off of I-10 & being open on New Years Day, I would think they would have been prepared. 2 cashiers, double kitchen staff & a manager that could be seen. Just while I was waiting for my food I saw roughly 10 people come in & walked out without even placing their order from just the slowness of the staff, the trash cans overflowing, dirty tables everywhere & a massive amount of people complaining about "where their food was". Corporate needs to retrain this staff on how to streamline service for a decent flow of customers. Never to return again!!

New manager rude about filling a soda up to the top. Left a inch gap and said no we fill it to the line which is not true. Should not be a manager. Short men always have control issues. The older lady who gave our order filled our cups to the brim and was extremely nice and even told us about the new rewards program they have now. I love bill millers and I will no longer come here to deal with this short rude boy.

Bland food, potato salad was undercooked and crunchy. Brisket was unseasoned and on the burnt dry side. Would definitely not recommend. Way too expensive for the service and taste of the food. Didn't even finish my plate
