Girls during afternoon/nightshift have serious attitude problems, they’re super lazy and rude. They don’t like working so they cut you off when you talk, roll their eyes, raise their voices, mad dog you and act dumb/clueless to avoid answering your questions. Everyone has the same complains so I think there needs to be new staff considering the food is pretty good.

I just want to say how I have never received good customer service at this location in the last 5 years! Everyone seems to hate there job! Today I just left the drive thru and the lady that took my order has no customer service skills and I believe her name was Kayla that’s what my receipt says! I ordered 3 blast after order she just said pull to the window. I said thank you I get to the window it appears she looks like a manager with a key card in her shirt. She say total she never smiles in fact gives an ugly look. I told her thank you once receiving my debit card back and again thank you after receiving my blast. She doesn’t give me a receipt with my card so I asked for it she doesn’t even respond just grabs it and slides shut the window! What a weirdo my check number is #604214 it was 10:45pm. I’m never coming here again the service is just horrible every time and it’s only getting worse.

Food is good but overall service sucks. Went through drive thru today and they lady taking my order was pretty rude. Idk what’s up with night crew but they are always rude. Place would be great if it had good service 🤷🏾‍♀️

The night crew sucks , showed up at 11:48 and 3 people rushed to their cars and took off . I waited about 5 minutes at the drive through speaker and nothing ! I get it , it sucks working late but I work in customer service as well and I wait sometimes 30 minutes or more after we close for our customers . Shafter sonic sucks !

I don't like leaving bad reviews but something has got to change at this Sonic. I haven't been to this location in a few years and it was shocking to pull in and see weeds 2 feet high lining the curb of the seating area and playground, and the flower beds were full of pure weeds. It was sad to see it in such a poor state. Then we waited 13-14 minutes for our food once we placed the order on the app, which is okay but we can see when our food is "on the way" and it was for at least 5 of those minutes… our food was cold when we got it and the ice cream Sunday had melted all over the cup carrier creating a mess! The blast was also melted all over the top. My chili cheese dog bun was hard and stale, the kids corn dogs also seamed old and the fries and tater tots tasted like they had been fried in old oil. I hope that Sonic can turn it around.

Place is rundown. I thought it was closed since the bushes were all overgrown and the lay ground fenced off. The slushies tasted like they were made with toilet water. I will not be going back. I love Sonic and went out of my way to go here, but this one was terrible.

It is Thursday June 23 2022 @ 6:33 am Shafter California Stopped by to pickup breakfast on my way to work person taking order not friendly at all I said good morning no response. Needs customer service training. I get it your up early and at work maybe even tried but you can sometimes make someone day just by say good morning.

So, this is the 3rd time sonic staff provides me with the incorrect order, either something missing or wrong food, not sure if they are under staff because they also take a long time to get the food ready. I've been waiting to get my mozzarella sticks for approx 35 min and still waiting..

I'm sorry but 25 minutes for 2 drinks is totally unacceptable. So freaking ridiculous. I looked at all the reviews and basically the same complaint. And the owner just wants to say, sorry if we disappointed you. Man get a grip on your business, your employees. They are making you look bad. If you don't care, then why should they care. Such a poor business we have to put up with her in Shafter . So pathetic....I changed my rating again. Every time I have gone there for a drink or food, I have not been helped at all. Everyone in the drive thru is helped right away, but those that are ordering in the stalls do not get helped. It's ridiculous. Shafter's Sonic is So unprofessional and unacceptable. I changed my rating because every since they ran out of lemonade last month, the strawberry lemonade has not been the same. They only fill the glass 1/2 way of ice, barely any strawberries and the lemonade taste like the powder kind now. If I'm going to spend $5 bucks on a drink, then It should be up to par that has me salivating until i return for another one. Not sure if all Sonic's are now like this, but the Shafter location is.

I often go to this location as do my coworkers, because it’s not far from our office. It never fails that I have an issue with just about literally every order I get from here. I typically place my order and then take it back to my office to eat, which is when I find out that what I had ordered isn’t what I have received! They charge me wrong as well which is also very aggravating! I have even had enough of the hassle to where I have taken the time to call to complain and speak to a manager about these continuing issues. When I have called I get told that a manger is not in at that time and I have left my name and contact information for a call back and never have gotten a return call! That alone proves the service and care for their customers I believe! :(
