I Celebrated my Mother's Day here, while the hot food was disappointingly lukewarm, I thoroughly enjoyed the ceviche with calamari. The service and staff were exceptionally amazing and welcoming. I Received a beautiful light-up rose which was truly touching gesture that brought me to tears and made the evening even more special.

What a nice surprise. Fresh cooked, healthy and tasty Chinese dishes. No its not Peking Duck! But you get a great meal at a super price. Did i mention the staff is friendly as well! Enjoy

So I hit up King Buffet in Sherman today, and… oof. It’s one of those places where the concept is solid, but the execution? Not so much. Let’s start with the floors. Sticky. Everywhere. Like, your shoes audibly protest with every step. It set the tone immediately, and not in a good way. The food? Lukewarm at best, and clearly had been sitting out for a while. Most of it was just tired. The flavor wasn’t terrible—you could tell it could be decent if it were fresh and hot—but unfortunately, it wasn’t either of those things. The sushi rice was basically crunchy, so yeah… it had definitely passed its prime. Now, credit where it’s due: the Mongolian grill was actually pretty good. Fresh ingredients, cooked right in front of you, and hot—go figure. So if you do end up there, maybe just stick to that station and call it a win. The building itself looks nice from the outside, but there’s this awful smell when you walk in that hits you like a wall. It does get better the closer you get to the buffet, but the initial impression isn’t doing them any favors. Bathroom was oddly dark, but at least it was clean and well-stocked. Small wins, I guess. All in all, the experience felt like a mix of “this could be great” and “someone please change the sushi out.” Would I go back? Maybe if I was starving and only wanted Mongolian grill. Otherwise, probably not.

We hadn't been here in close to 10 years. Tonight we decided to take our family of 5. The waitresses were very kind to us, and food wasn't the greatest. A wide variety of food, but most of it is not very appealing. The worst part is when you get your bill, dang near $100! It's definitely not worth it for what quality of food you're getting. There's alot of other restaurants nearby that you can spend HALF that at, and get better quality food.

If you're just going for sushi absolutely do not go there the sushi was awful. We went on Seafood night the salt and pepper shrimp head and tail on completely drowned in oil could not taste anything other than oil and the shrimp meat was mush. Out of the huge food selection I only found three things that I thought were worth eating. The catfish was wonderful, fried scallops and the mushrooms. The bathrooms are very dark and creepy. We will never be going there again.

ZERO! Stars ALL around!!! That was the worst food I’ve had in my entire life! I’m mad I have to give them 1 star! The drinks: I thought I might need to go to an emergency room the cup they gave me for my water soda was chipped and not clean! I had ordered a sprite and it came to me tasting like carbonated tap water! Just horrible and dangerous! They need to get rid of their BROKEN DISHES!!! The Food: It was Luke warm at best and tasted like it was 2-3 days old! The beef and broccoli is disgusting! The broccoli was rotten on the sides! The beef tasted like flower like it wasn’t cooked properly! The egg rolls were rotten inside and tasted like death it self! The noodles were soggy and flavorless just horrible! The crab legs tasted like old stale water after the first bite! The fried food tasted like tap water also which I don’t know how you can even manage that fried boiled chicken should be the name they used for their display! The best thing I ate was the mussels which even then they were not more then a 4/10 themselves and my mothers had white spots on it making us both sick to our stomachs! The chicken on a stick was so hard I couldn’t even bite it! The bananas in red sauce were old and mushy with brown spots making my little sister scared to even get one! The cakes were store bought and still bad they were old like when you leave bread out and they get dry that was that cake DRY AND NASTY! The ice cream a frozen treat was served in plastic with plastic spoons to eat it with just a disappointment! Over all I rather starve than eat their food again! The store its self was disgusting too! The horrible smell that had me looking at the king and questioning how this could be fit for a king smelled worse then a dirty pig! Just smelt like the worst thing ever! Just death! I should have taken my group of people out of their off that alone! The floor was sticky as if they had floors made of gum! The chairs were grimy like they hadn’t been cleaned for a long period of time and the table we were sat at was greasy! The bathroom was dirty and missing toilet paper! If I could I would get Gordon there if only I had his personal sell! We all looked for anything to eat just one good thing and left there hungry with our pockets $120 negative I rather spend that money on anywhere else if I could! I hope I don’t get food poisoning! DO NOT ENTER THIS HORRIBLE PLACE PLEASE TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!

DO NOT RECOMMEND Bad smell when first walk into the building. Staff slow and not friendly. Most of the food on the buffet was cold. What wasn't, was not very good. Mediocre Beef & Broccoli, bland fried dumplings, dry and bland chicken, "house special" chicken was burnt & basically jerky. Absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND

The hubby got Mongolian beef and the beef was bad so I discreetly told our waitress that and next thing you know the owner is coming to our table dangling beef in our face in front of everyone it’s not bad I check , very unprofessional and rude! Also there is raw sewage all over the floor of the women’s bathroom. No stars!

We were visiting from out of town;however, this was our 2nd visit since last year. We didn't like it then. I broke my own rule by eating at a restaurant that has the word "King" in the title...but I was craving Chinese and hoping there had been a change in ownership. I don't think I have tasted worse Chinese food than what we ate last night. The food on the buffet is not consistently hot or warm. Two of the chicken dishes were cold, and I noticed that no steam was being produced beneath their pans. The crab legs...where do I begin. They were brought out in A small container, so I had to wait for 2 people ahead of me to pick the "good" ones out. When it was my turn, only a few were left. These c legs were thin and some were actually hollow! My husband had a plate from the Mongolian grill, which was decent. We laughed at all the sauce that was on the bell and wondered how it got that way. I think they stay in business because there is no competition...so very sad.
