Dugout Sports Bar is a local favorite known for its friendly staff, lively atmosphere, and above-average sports bar food. Customers rave about the burgers, wings, and plentiful screens for watching games. Some report inconsistent service or bland food on occasion.

Happened on this spot by chance and what a find! All of the staff are great! The waitresses consistently checked on me, the bartender makes a mean whiskey sour and the food was great! Several tv screens in every direction so its easy to watch any number of sports...have came back at least 2x a week since!
This is me and my husbands favorite place. It is advertised as a sports bar, but is always pretty calm and relaxed. The food is incredible, everything is a hit. We bring our friends here to try the food whenever we get the chance.
This is truly a great place to hang out and watch a game. The food quality is high above an average sports bar. Happy Hour (4-7 pm) prices are very good. We're vegetarian and didn't have any terrible finding suitable options. We ordered chips and salsa, pretzel bites with dipping cheese, a Texas burger with a veggie patty with crispy onions, chipotle mayo and fries, and a kids cheese quesadilla for my 6-year-old. I ordered an 805 26 oz draft and my wife got a light draft beer. Everything was delicious! The burger, bun and toppings were excellent! The tortilla chips were thick and very crispy and the salsa had a smoky flavor with great heat. The fries were delicious, too. I guarantee you will not be disappointed after visiting The Dugout.
While in Ca. I visited the “Dugout” sports grill. A nice selection of beverages(beer, soda etc.). I had pretzel bites that were phenomenal as an appetizer followed by sliders that were very delicious. Don’t forget about the fresh side salad. Friendly staff. Clean environment. I recommend!
Great food...Great service... Lots of screens...Lots of sports... We had a fantastic time... We'll be back many more times ! 😎
What a great place to watch sports games and enjoy some delicious comforting food. We love their burgers and their bbq chicken salad. Excellent staff!
Went in to watch the women's NCAA final. They offered to put it on the TV closest to us. I'm a fan of anywhere that puts on women's sports for you.
The Dugout was able to sit out huge hockey team. Party of 50. The servers were awesome. Very nice friendly and fast!! Very good food. I will always recommend and eat here
I love the dug out! The staff are outstanding and the food and drinks are top notch! Best place I've been to in a long time!

There’s 400 reviews on this place and the vast majority are 4-5 stars. So I don’t need to go into great detail about this place as it’s been done previously. The food was great! Service was good! No excessive waiting for drinks or food. I will patron again next time we’re in Simi. If you go, which you should, make sure to get the pretzel bite appetizer with the cheese. *chefs kiss*
Wow this food was incredible !!! Also, service was amazing, Jessie was so on top of everything would recommended every good menu item. She made the experience of being new to the area perfect !!! We even watched the dodger game!
We've been eating at the Dugout since it was in Moorpark. The California burger is the best. I hate burgers, but love them here. I'm convinced they use a high quality provider. The fries have changed, but they're still good. Plenty of screens for the games you're watching, or for happily distracting yourself from family. Great hot dogs and sandwiches, too.
Dugout Sports Bar is a fantastic spot! The food was delicious, especially the wings recommended by our amazing server Jane, and the drinks were top-notch with a great selection. The vibe was laid-back yet lively, and the service was friendly and attentive. Perfect for a casual hangout—I'll definitely be back!
Good place to catch the game and get some brews & grub. The food is really good and plentiful. Specifically, their chili is absolutely amazing. Servers are nice and attentive. Looking forward to getting back there!

I've been going here on and off since they opened. At first it seemed hit or miss, but in the past year or so, the food has really improved from "standard sports bar food" to my favorite versions of some items. They have amazing onion rings and potato skins. I usually get their grilled cheese (not as good as The Hat, but still) or their bleu cheese burger. That, paired with their reasonably priced variety of beers and friendly service, makes for a positive dining experience. It's worth noting that we've dined with groups of 8 and we were seated quickly and had no decrease in service or food quality. The Dugout has definitely become a staple in our rotation.

A sports bar. My burger was good but the tacos are white as hell. They don't take discover btw. It's what you expect.

Horrible service; they sat us in the table with a crappy attitude for no reason. People that worked there kept looking at us nobody came to even say we will be right with you. 20 mins and nothing; it was not even busy. It was our first time going and we leave 20-30 percent in tip. First impressions are everything! We just walked out.
This place has got to be closing soon. We've going here for YEARS!!! Our last visit though, was the last. Our waitress' attitude was snotty with a side of fake sauce . It was 815 we were told the kitchen was closing soon. I couldn't get a ice tea but if the kitchen closing. We made it easy and ordered 2 simple things. Went to wash my hands and nearly passed out from holding my breath. Not sure when the bathroom was last cleaned.. couple months ago, Thats how bad the smell was. After about 5 min of eating. We were grossed out at the amount of nates flying around and it didn't taste good enough to eat either. We got our check, normally we tip very generously. Not this day. It was a pleasure but this place needs a make over and ALL new staff.
We got there about 8:45 and waited almost 5 minutes before we were acknowledged, from across the bar. About 4 men were sitting at the bar, the only other ones in the place. She yelled "We are closed! Last call was 10 minutes ago and the kitchen is closed!" I teased, "You are just teasing!" She walked towards us and said "We are closed! The doors are locked!" I told her they weren't, because we opened them to get in! Door said closing is 9pm. She was rude and dismissive. We won't be back.

Service was good but food was rather bland and the environment is rather tense. Just go to cronies.
