⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We visited the restaurant recently and had a wonderful experience! The food was delicious, the ambience was lovely, and the service was excellent. A special mention to Priya, who served us!! she was warm, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. Thank you for making our visit so enjoyable! Highly recommend this place.
It was my aunty's 50th birthday and we were so anxious that how it will be as we wanted to done it really special way. so finally we choose Nashtaa cafe. and glad we did ! it was very pleasing experience! food was super delicious. all of our guests enjoyed it too much. and all our guests were very impressed with the service we recieved from nashtaa cafe ! staff were very lovely and friendly. also they have enough room for dj too. cafe's interior is too good and very beautiful that it will save your money on decorations. overall our experience with nashtaa cafe was 10/10. and I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. its a very good place to do your personal parties. and I myself would love to do party there again.
We are regularly ordering food from here at home always get same taste and that is superb. Once you order from Naashta you won’t go anywhere else. We had dinner today at restaurant and we had real good time as service and food both were excellent We have been served by Ms. Priya she has really pleasant personality as serving food with warmth. Applause 👏 for chef 🧑🍳 as the food taste awesome
Went with friends for a relaxed dinner experience and absolutely loved it! The restaurant is just so Instagramable ! We couldn't stop taking pics! The food was lovely - really authentic! The staff was courteous and warm - we went with their food suggestions! We did give them feedback about Gulab Jamun cheesecake that we didn't get any gulab jamun in it...and they gave us complementary super fresh hot gulab jamun....they literally melted in the mouth ! Will definitely recommend to friends and go back !!
Honestly almost for the first time I felt almost a perfect place to visit. Lovely ambience, service, quality, quantity and taste, every aspect was covered flawlessly. A proper desi cuisine fusion with western style that hit the taste on spot. We ordered two different types of breakfast, chole bhatura, plan parathas, milk tea and Karak tea. Food quality 10/10 Portion 10/10 more than for a person Price 9/10 Taste 9/10 Must visit this place if you are in Slough we went all the way from Central London to try it.
Great quality, authentic taste, and excellent portion sizes. Highly recommend Nashtaa to anyone craving real comfort food. Can’t wait to order again!
Looks like we finally found a beautiful fancy brunch spot in our local area 💜 we absolutely loved the food and now i can understand the hype about the ‘eggs mexi nashta’ , they were delicios 🥰 best holandaise sauce and the eggs were perfectly poached. We cannot wait to go back. The staff was absolutely lovely and welcoming.I would rate more if possible 👍🏼
I have got to say the food, service and ambience is spot on at this lovely little gem in Slough. I had the Mexi Nashta eggs and I added salon, it was absolutely divine. I tried Kadak Chai for the first time and now I am hooked. Kajal was efficient and friendly and suggested options as in when I added the salmon as I could not decide between this and Eggs Royale. I then had to just try the Nashta special coffee which I then had as a take away. Free parking for 2 hours as well which is always a bonus. I will definitely be back soon.
Visited Nashtaa today after a lot of good reviews and I was pleasantly surprised. Our waitress, Pooja, was so lovely attentive and friendly. We ordered the English vegetarian breakfast and it was a hefty plate along with a karak chai - which was delicious! A little bit pricy but worth it! The decor is stunning and vibrant. A lot of options on the menu. A halal option is available if requested. There is on site parking free for 2 hours at the rear of the hotel. Overall experience was amazing and I’d definitely recommend this place. Will be visiting again soon! 😊
Beautiful little cafe. Perfect for a cozy date with anyone. Family friendly. Loads of food options including english and Indian cuisine which is very rare. N decor is just lovely. Best you would find in the area.
It was my first time coming to nashtaa and I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. The host was lovely and added to a great experience.I came here with my family and they all had a great time. Pavan was very nice and looked after us which made our experience even better!
Lovely food. Amazing service. Host was here herself to look after the guest. Only thing don’t take table next to door on a chilly morning. Overall a must go authentic Indian breakfast.
----EDIT---- We revisited today and I was astounded at how well the staff handled the busyness of the restaurant while maintaining a very professional attitude. It was super busy but I'm please to say the food came out in good time and was truly out of this world. Well done to all the staff including the chefs. ----Precious review---- While I have to say the food here is astronomical.. We were kept waiting for 50 minutes before any food was put before us. The service was on point and the lady apologied for the delay. I hope to come back to raise this to a 5* review. The restaurant was busy when I went. You won't be dissapointed with the food...
Really enjoyed the food. We chose the place as they serve both desi n english. N while many others have a strong point on either desi or english, nashta cafe aced all round. All we ordered was top notch n karak chai was amazing! Owner was sweet
Brilliant Breakfast. We had the Paranthe & Omellete. Sticky Toffee Pudding & Custard, Brownie with Ice Cream. Karak Chai. Makes a welcome change from the usual breakfast chains. Quality was excellent! Great place to sit! Service was friendly. Parking a tad limited on premise, however plenty of space on residential roads. Great options available.
This is a decent local place for a bite to eat. I went for breakfast and like how there is a standard/ typical English breakfast as well as a more traditional Indian breakfast. The option for halal is a massive plus for me. It’s a kid friendly place and very much set out of families, couples or just a group of friends. The food is good as is the service but I think the inside could do with looking a bit more up to date.
Went for team lunch at Nashtaa and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food! Tasty Batoora with Channa, chutney and onions on the side. The Gulab jamun cheesecake was a bit disappointing as I expected more Gulab Jamuns or at least the taste of it to be in the cheesecake! Overall a great place! I would definitely visit again ❤️❤️
came here Sunday morning with family to try this place out not a bad experience I liked the decor and chilled atmosphere inside i could see they were doing reservations outside to improve the place outside seating area will look forward to seeing how it looks when done. Overall my experience was good nice staff had a good menu with mix of English and Indian style I actually went for a massala omelette with a poratha and mint tea which was a great choice...would recommend this place few improvements here and there and this is a gem of a place...
Nashtaa Café in Slough has become one of my go-to spots, especially for their brownie with ice cream, it’s absolutely worth the visit on its own! I’ve swung by just for that treat so that should say enough. Breakfast/brunch at Nashtaa is solid, offering a good selection of dishes that hit the spot. While the drinks were just okay and not particularly memorable, they were well enough with the meal. The service was decent, though nothing standout, but the job was done. One big plus is the complimentary 1.5-hour parking, which makes it super convenient. Overall, Nashtaa Café is a great spot for breakfast or dessert, particularly if you’re in the mood for something sweet. I’ll keep coming back for that brownie alone!
Stepping into Nashtaa is like entering a warm, inviting haven. The ambiance is truly exceptional; think soft lighting, comfortable plush seating, and a gentle buzz of conversation that creates a relaxed yet refined atmosphere. It's the kind of place where you instantly feel at ease, perfect for a leisurely morning. Now, let's talk about the English breakfast. It's clear that they prioritize quality ingredients. The sausages are decent, the bacon is thick-cut and perfectly crisp, and the eggs are cooked to perfection and served with a single slice of sourdough bread. Every element of the breakfast is clearly made with care, and the ingredients are top-tier, but really pricey for the quantity (hence four stars). However, be prepared to pay a premium for this experience. The prices are significantly higher than your average cafe. While the quality justifies the cost to some extent, it's definitely a 'treat yourself' kind of breakfast. The channa bhature, was excellent and definitely worth the price. In summary: Pros: Exceptional ambiance. High-quality, delicious English breakfast. Excellent service. very high quality ingredients. Cons: Pricey. If you're looking for a special breakfast experience and don't mind the cost, 'Nashtaa' is definitely worth a visit. But if you're on a budget, you might want to look elsewhere
It was my first time and I'm going to be honest it was quite nice, service was good, decor was beautiful I loved the fact that we asked for our eggs to be cooked how we wanted and they done an amazing job had them poached and my days on point!!! I would recommend this place as it was quite good and the fact the had a halal option that was even better. The only thing I would say if they do a change eg. We asked if the hash brown could be swapped for some fries like a mix and match but they said it couldn't be done so we had to get it on the side otherwise it was lovely.
Prices are reasonable, especially given the quality and authenticity of the dishes. Portion sizes are generous, making it a great value for those looking to enjoy a hearty breakfast without breaking the bank. Nashtaa Café provides a delightful start to the day with its flavourful and authentic Indian breakfast offerings. The combination of delicious food, cozy ambiance, and attentive service makes it a standout choice for breakfast enthusiasts. I can recommend Nashtaa for anyone looking to explore the rich flavours of Indian breakfast cuisine. Whether you’re a regular or trying it for the first time, this café promises a satisfying and enjoyable experience.
Beautiful! The food was amazing, the service was great and the atmosphere was nice. Super cute decor loved the vibe. Had the pleasure of meeting the super sweet owner, well done to her accomplishments. Can’t wait to visit again.
Had a decent brunch on a Sunday. Didn't seem crowded. The dishes were well cooked. Only complain would be that the karak chai had no option of sugar free. Parking was slightly crowded but could be due to Sunday. Need to register the vehicle for free parking otherwise expect a fine.
Authentic Indian Nashta 👌 if you are craving Punjabi food this is the place to go. Reasonably priced too. We enjoyed the food. Kadak chai needs a special mention and full marks 💯😀
Went with my husband and our close family friend. My husband and the friend are regulars for Naashta, but for me, it was the first time. Food was great , typical North India punjab style food. My taste buds were doing happy dance. I would love to go there with my kids sometime soon.
A calm and pleasant place for a meal. Everything felt organized and comfortable, from seating to service. Food was prepared properly and left a generally positive impression.
I went here for a friends birthday afternoon tea. I had sent a message on Instagram about 2weeka before asking about gluten free and dairy free foods to which I had no reply so my friend had to sort it out. However she only understood about gluten free the food had dairy so I had to be careful with what I ate. I have added pictures of both normal and gluten free option. I am disappointed as it wasn't very tasty and I had to pay full price for food lacking in taste, presentation and amount compared to full. Also I could only have an English tea as they couldn't make any Indian tea due to the milk. If you have allergies I would avoid which is sad as the atmosphere and decor is beautiful! They are missing a trick here.
I went here with my parents for breakfast. What I wanted wasn’t available till 11am due to the naan oven taking time to heat up. We ordered fried eggs with plain paratha, egg bhurji with toast and mix paratha with fried eggs. The fried eggs base was burnt and sent them back for a replacement. The other set of fried eggs were also the same. My mix paratha and egg bhurji was yummy. Then we ordered another plain paratha which was completely different to the first one. It looked like plain roti with butter on it. The karak chai was yummy. Food took 25 minutes to arrive. Staff were courteous hence the rating. I think it’s over rated and can definitely improve the speed of serving orders and quality of the fried eggs.
Food was good but the chai and coffee was terrible. Maybe the ones i chose were only bad but maybe the other drinks are much better. service was great because they didnt charge me for the drinks since we didnt drink them. But the food was really good!
Service was really bad. Took very long to get the food and some of my guests got food 30 minutes before me. They forgot to serve our drinks order so had to go up and ask. Its very cold there and portion sizes too small. Was still hungry afterwards. Got 2 tiny patura and makhi roti was ini mini. Plus side. Food was delicious.
We went when around 10:30 am it wasn't that busy. We asked for tandoori soya cheap we were told chaap is finished, tried ordering Kulcha they said Tandoor is not working. When food arrived chick peas were quite hard and food was average. They added 12% service charge to the order when we asked this to be removed they said its mandatory and has to paid. ( As far as I am aware it cannot be mandatory for walk in customers to be forced to pay service charge) . All in all I think there are better places out there
Was looking forward to having a family time brunch. To be honest I would not recommend this place to no one. Masala tea and Adrak tea was awful not sure what they put in that. Eggs Royal had way too much hollandaise sauce and the salmon looked rather too grey but eggs were poached well as a positive. Channa bhutura was ok and the saag dish was good the curd tasted a little strange. Paneer wrap was ok and the gronola was fine.
The place is pretty! Nice and quiet when I went on a Sunday. Considering the full English is £11.95, I would’ve expected at least 2 pieces of toast and/or 2 sausages at the minimum. I feel like this place is a little overpriced for the portions. Also, the Turkey rashers were soggy. Although the halal option is nice that it is offered, the food came out lukewarm and went cold pretty quick as we started to eat. We were quite disappointed considering the positive reviews the place has had. Nothing more to say. I won’t be visiting here again.
Ordered two nashtaa full English and 1 nashtaa vegetarian. The full English looked good but the poached eggs were not drained (water on the plate and soaked up into the hash browns. The poached eggs were also overcooked. The vegetarian option looked very underwhelming. Got plain baked beans instead of masala beans. Unable to get hold of a server to get the correct items. 2 plates had garlic mushroom and one was plain (they were all suppose to be the same) The pickle was also missing on one plate. Adrak chai and apple juice was nice, but they all arrived with the mains (which was a 15-20 min wait) not sure if this is normal here.
The service was incredibly slow with terrible attitude from the manager. We waited over an hour and half for a decently sized order. When I asked them to check on our order, the server asked me to repeat the order as she did not remember. When the server asked the manager on an update, the manager kept making snarky faces. The surroundings weren’t cleaned well and the servers said they will check but never got back to us. Ended up leaving after paying for a cup of tea and omelette after an hour and 45 mins, even the bottle of water we ordered hadn’t come. They also tried to charge for food we did not receive.
Positives. Excellent ambience and atmosphere. The interior decoration is absolutely inviting. The service by the people was also up to the mark and nothing to complain about. Negatives. Somewhere beyond ambience, one of the most important reasons to go to a restaurant, would be to eat something. It might be my fault that I ordered something which may not be their speciality, although one of the menus did recomment chat as their speciality. 1. Chatpata Chaat. Essentially a dahi papdi chat, but made with nachos. The idea seems welcoming but the flavours are all over the place. Being spicy and having good flavours is very different from the an excess of the wrong flavours. 2. Panipuri (Golgappe). This is the first time in 20+ years of eating Panipuri that I refused to finish a plate and left it. (Image attached). The stuffing just has a very weird flavour to it. 3. Masala Chai. Again, the first time that I've left any form of Chai as undrinkable. (Image attached). I understand Tea is made with a variety of flavours. I usually enjoy every kind of Tea from Yorkshire Tea to English Breakfast Tea to Masala Adrak Chai to Karak Chai. I used to believe that Chai Tea Latte is the only form of Tea that doesn't do justice to the name. Funnily, even Masala Chai at this place was undrinkable. Absolutely disappointed from the food.
The service here is terrible bro 😭 it’s very clear they can’t handle a large amount of customers and even when there’s a decent to low amount of customers they still can’t keep up and me and my family been waiting here for over an hour it just takes the excitement out of eating. In addition the manager just has no presence or authority and keeps saying sorry we are busy that just isn’t our problem tho as a restaurant you should be able to handle this like what?
The food was great, service good but I ended up getting a parking fine inspite of registering my car at the restaurant. I was only there for 1 hr and parking should have been valid for 2 hours. When I called the restaurant I was told parking is managed by the hotel so no I need to call them and sort it out. The hotel's number does not even work. So now I have to go back to sort this out. Not what I need. Please be careful when parking there.
We visited this restaurant and placed our order. Then realised we were running late for prayers. The restaurant was completely empty and we politely asked if we could pray in the corner. The waitress initially said it was fine, but later returned to say management had refused and asked us to fold our prayer mat immediately. We kindly asked for them to check again, explaining it would only take a few minutes, but the manager still declined and did not come to speak to us personally, instead sending the waitress again. We felt uncomfortable and disappointed by how the situation was handled, so we cancelled our order and left. Not a Muslim-friendly place and in all honesty it was disrespectful and Muslims should not visit.
There was a bad smell overall in the place. The service was bad it took them 10mins to let us know there was no pani puri available. The chat pata chaat was poor they used nachos as the base instead the traditional papadi. Ordered roti roll and cheese chilli toastie. Was told the order would take over 25-30 mins. The roti roll was supposed to have chicken tikka and omelette. First that came had no filling in it. The rest were just full of onions. No taste overall so disappointing but no surprise at all of the quality. The cheese chilli toastie was rubbish to bits of white bread not even toasted properly, no chillies and bland. Left both items uneaten after as not worth the calories. Requested to take off the service charge after charging £93 for food that was overall disgusting. Was given attitude by the girl at the till when I asked it for to be removed even though it’s within my rights to have it removed. I would not recommend this place at all.
