As we were staying in the adjoining hotel we booked a table here. The service was great, food was amazing and the cocktails just kept coming! The bar had a great atmosphere and friendly staff. I had steak which was perfectly cooked how I like it!

First time dined here and we had such a great experience. Staff are so lovely and hospitable, food was delicious, great atmosphere would definitely return. Bar is really nice and relaxing too for drinks. Plenty of free parking.

A great ambiance for dinner. We stayed at the hotel and had an inclusive dinner package. Whilst certain dishes come with a supplement, there is still a decent selection from the menu. Food was very tasty. The quality of the breakfast was also very good. Would love to come back again.

We had a great lunch at this restaurant at brooklands hotel. The staff were excellent and very accommodating and the service was excellent. The food was very good and well presented. The selection of artisan breads was superb and tasted great.

I actually didn't know what to expect from 1907 as I haven't been stayed in the hotel before or even stepped foot in the restaurant either. The ambience and atmosphere was a little quiet when we arrived early evening for a meal on Sunday but thinking outside the box. The atmosphere will be very good when it is busy. The waitresses and waiters were helpful with our drinks and attentive. Furthermore I love the decor, being an aviation based area. The bar has some fantastic chrome propellers in the centre of the room which is very eye catching. Concentrating on the restaurant now, the host sat us down. He also took our order and as we had a gift voucher which included certain courses, the host quickly found out exactly what we could have included in the cost. Shortly after the waiter took our order and the starters came within a reasonable time frame. The restaurant was busier than the bar but service was still very good. The starter and main course were excellent. The dessert too was nothing short of fantastic and I was extremely surprised as to how good it was and also well presented the food was. The evening was great and it would be a great location to eat before or after your experience at Mercedes-Benz World or even for Brooklands Museum. If you are lucky enough to stay here, the facilities look good and the hotel rooms also look very nice. I would recommend a visit or a stay whichever you fancy.

Me and my girlfriend had a stay in the hotel and had dinner (2 chicken burgers) Easily the best we'd ever had. I had a corona on draught and my girlfriend had a few cocktails she really enjoyed. Overall the experience was lovley the waitress and waiter were very nice and very skilled. It was great

Had a great afternoon tea before our spa treatment. All the food was lovely. We were served by Joanna, who was so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us to make our experience special! Highly recommend this place for a treat.

I had an excellent breakfast experience at 1907 Resturant bar &grill , thanks to the exceptional service from Jonna. Her warm and attentive approach made our morning special. The food was delicious, and Jonna's professionalism and courtesy added an extra layer of satisfaction to our meal. I highly recommend 1907 Resturant Bar &Grill

Lovely lunch at 1907, fish and chips was freshly cooked, the fries was just crispy, and guess what the service was attentive quick and not overbearing, I love the ambiance

Eating here as local hotspot. Food, staff, service great. Staff are warm sincere and knowledgeable ofvthe menu. Highlights are 3 cheese souffle and the pistachio souffle. Not to be missed. The new chocolate mousse with cherry compote is a revelation. Hats off to Chef and team.

We had a lovely Afternoon Tea as part of our spa package in the 1907 restaurant. All the staff were helpful but I would like to give special mention to Monica, who went above and beyond to provide attentive exemplary service. Very polite, cheerful and nothing was too much trouble for her, thank you for making our dinning experience a memorable one!

Exceptional Ambiance and Outstanding Cocktails Stepping into 1907 is like entering a world of refined elegance and impeccable taste. The sophisticated décor, accentuated by dim lighting and tasteful furnishings, creates a perfect setting for an evening of indulgence. The cocktail menu is a masterpiece, showcasing a harmonious blend of creativity and craftsmanship. Each drink is thoughtfully curated, with premium spirits and fresh ingredients that elevate the experience to a whole new level. The Daiquiri was a revelation—perfectly balanced, innovative, and beautifully presented. The staff deserves special mention for their professionalism and warmth. From their expert recommendations to their flawless service, every detail is handled with care and attention. Whether you’re here for a celebratory evening or an intimate gathering, 1907 delivers an unforgettable experience. It’s not just a bar; it’s a destination for those who appreciate the finer things in life.

Have had dinner here several times and would be happy to go back again. Whilst it's a bit on the expensive side the quality of the food does warrant the outlay. The staff are attentive and look after you without being overly attentive. The menu caters for vegetarian and vegan tastes and has a good selection. The wine menu also has a choice. I would recommend a visit to the 1907 bar and grill.

Enjoyed an evening meal here with my partner. Jacqueline was great to talk to and the chicken burger was probably one of the best I've eaten. Would definitely recommend.

I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good gluten-free or egg free afternoon tea. They were very accommodating with our different allergies. Service was with a smile, and they squeezed our large group in even though we didn't have reservations. Portions were generous, and everyone needed a doggy bag. Great value for money!

Superb experience at 1907. Service is fast and attentive and the menu is wonderful, with certain items cooked at the table, we dined as part of a package and the included choices were vast and excellent. We will be returning.

We came here for afternoon tea as part of a virgin experience days spa voucher. I was very impressed by how well they accommodated dietary requirements, my partner is sensitive to dairy but does eat meat and he was so glad to not just be given the vegan option. Staff were incredibly friendly and were kind enough to give newt a little chocolate happy birthday (with vegan chocolate!) I was really worried that afternoon tea wouldn’t be very filling but by the end we were both absolutely stuffed!!! The scones were delicious and warm and it was lovely to have generous amounts of both jam and lemon curd to top them with! The selection of teas was delightful and everything we tried was delicious. My only criticism is that we weren’t super clear on what drinks were and weren’t included and we would have appreciated the staff being clear about non-tap water costing extra

Nice, ambient atmosphere. I had dinner package as part of my hotel stay with the 3 course meal mostly of it pleasant. Rib eye steak was cooked exactly as asked however I choose rice and corn salsa as a side. Not that it was not tasty but it certainly wasn’t what I expected when it came out. The rice really felt a bit ‘uncle Ben’s’ for me and the corn salsa was basically 2 bits of shaved corn so I personally would avoid this side dish Other than that dishes are well presented but my opinion is the taste just fell short of its presentation

We were gifted a hotel stay which included a 3 course dinner. The inclusive options are limited however enough to choose from. Food was surprisingly nice however a bit on the sweet side. Surprisingly, there is a service charge on the value of the TOTAL bill value (even though we only paid for our drinks. We didn't mind but just something to be wary about.

A lovely dining experience. Wine advice good following our choices. Whilst on a dinner inclusive package chose to upgrade to a Klima T Bone steak that was in their own dry ager. Starters superb choosing the soup and beef carpaccio. Waiter used a hot stone to cook some chopped garlic and mushrooms while the steak continued to relax. Once ready they then carved and served the steak at the table. We finished with a fruit salad with raspberry sorbet and the trio of cheese, with enough biscuits! We have eaten at The Pasture in Bristol and this was a similar experience in terms of food and price. Would eat here again.

Very decent restaurant inside the Brooklands Hotel. Food is generally good with a good selection of wines. The steak here is good. I tried the Fish & Chips today, the fish was firm, chunky & juicy. The mushy beans was very tasted too. Service was quick and the waitress serving me was friendly and attentive. The bar offers a good selection of wine, liquor & cocktails, great place to hang out after dinner.

The food was indescribably good. My taste buds were blown out of this world. The atmosphere was very nice and relaxing. Great location with beautiful decor. The service was extremely friendly, but very disorganised. We were asked every 3 minutes by different servers to order even if we had already offered, and the starter was brought out twice to us. It made it hard to have a conversation at the table. However they were all extremely friendly and polite. Update: I forgot to mention I would highly recommend the: Sour dough bread, Pork Belly, Cheese cake, and the Chicken Burger.

We had dinner here as part of a Groupon package for a 3-course meal. The package options were not great in my view for a 'dinner' (mainly veg starters and burger mains) and the majority of the decent options required a supplement to be paid so we had Lamb and steak for an extra £15 each and extra £3 for mussels to start. I could not fault the food, presentation was great and the flavours were perfect! Also drinks and cocktails for £15 each (which I thought was quite pricey but tasted great). The ambiance was great and catered well for kids. The only let down was on the service as it took a long time for our orders to be taken each time for drinks, food then desert. Then everytime each course was served, we were missing the cutlery required and had to ask for it e.g. no steak knife, pudding without spoons provided. I would definitely come back and hope the service side improves.

Not much option if your are at the Mercedes Benz World where we had a conference. So, we booked this place for after event dinner - we were given table at their newly opened glass house! The weather was great and we enjoyed the atmosphere. The service was a bit slower and nothing to complain about the food.

R

Great tasty food and ambience. Nice chilled bar and friendly staff. Service slow though, seems as though the staff were too focused on front bar area rather than being attentive to restaurant guests.

We visited after having a track experience with Mercedes World next door for my husband's birthday. Very nicely cooked food. We had octopus, goats cheese, steak and pork chop both served with chunky chips and salad and we were too full for dessert! The pork chop was outstanding! The restaurant is in a hotel, and the view is of the car park, which was disappointing. I was hoping it was on a higher floor with a view over the race track next door. Staff were friendly and efficient, the bar area was fabulous with lots of choices of spirits and wines. The Virgin Mojito was delicious! Seems a very nice restaurant for the hotel guests, maybe not for a special occasion. The staff did give us a lovely table though and decorated a plate with a mini dessert which was very kind.

The staff were the best part, they were kind, courteous and accommodating, with a nothing is too much trouble attitude. Will probably come back based on the service alone, I can't remember their names but it was an Italian waiter and a Kingston student waitress The food didn't wow, but at the same time it wasn't horrible, but I'm not sure if it deserved the price tag. Also do not rely on the online menu, when we got there it was completely different.

It's a nice restaurant with the great atmosphere. The food was good. Serving time very long. Hidden fees were applied, such as service fee, what I didn't notice where mentioned somewhere. Polite stuff. Tap water available.

3 of us went here today for the first time for afternoon tea...quite disappointing, sandwiches were all bread and no filling, also very boring ! So uninspiring, could do better I feel for such an upmarket hotel. Also my smoked salmon had a hard bit in it ! The scones were however quite nice, but the rest of the cakes were sickly sweet and so many ! My suggestion is, pay more attention to nicer quality sandwiches and thinner bread !

Came here with the family after Mercedes Benz world. Lots of beef grill options, no chicken grill options. The food took absolutely ages to come. And none of the staff walked past to check up on us. I mean the service levels just terrible. It’s almost as if the staff don’t want to be there and dodge the clients. We ordered pork ribs which were not fresh and had been warmed up. The beef steak was okay but seriously expensive for what it was. We ordered the Cumberland sausage for the kids which was just a very poor quality sausage, it tasted like the cheap range from Sainsbury’s. The chicken burger was average at best. For its price I would have expected a lot more. To top it all off the dessert was not any better. We ordered fruit for the kids and it was slimy. Now we mentioned this all to the waiter about ribs and fruit. And she apologised but didn’t take it off the bill even though we didn’t eat them. This place is just a regular restaurant pretending to be a high level London type restaurant with fine dining.

We came to the 1907 restaurant during our stay at the Brooklands hotel (which is lovely), and had a bought a package which had dinner included. Food was not awful, just not anything special. Granted, myself and my partner both ordered a starter which was not included in our package, so expected to pay about £15 extra. I'm sure you could imagine our faces when we were faced with a bill of £45, ontop of what we payed for our package. The majority of this was service charges, which are separate for food and drink, which shocked me considering we both had 1 glass of Prosecco which as included in our package, whilst we were also charged £5 for two glasses of water, in which we didn't ask for, however accepted as we thought that we wouldn't incur any charge from. As I said, this place does provide a satisfactory service, however, between the average food and impolite service, the price is immoral.

Nothing thrilling at all the are better restaurants at this price point. Starters arrived in about 20 mins, our drinks after 40 mins, reason was there were groups of other ppl ordering drinks and I guess they considered them move important. When I made the booking that my wife is pregnant and it’s her birthday. There was no effort made on this point throughout the entire visit. My chicken ballotine was dry as was my wife’s chicken milanese. I came here years back when it was good and busy. Now it’s lame tired and under staffed. Save your money and go elsewhere like the Brooks restaurant or the Victoria, both are close by and will be much better in food and service.

Was greeted and welcomed so well, customer service was beyond excellent. But extremely disappointed with the afternoon tea selection for what I paid for. Expected variety of sandwiches at least, only got cucumber and cheese&pickle which didn't even get eaten as least favourite...scones were fresh and other cakes were ok, tea was cold...left feeling so so disappointed as felt couldn't make mothers day special :(

So much is right about this restaurant (the decor, friendly attentive staff, location) but it was ultimately a real disappointment. We visited with friends on 28Feb25 and right up to our food being served, everything seemed just fine. Our starters (beetroot tartare and breaded calamari) were well above average and the staff quickly rectified the mistakes with two of the Mains but my Big Brooklands Grill was mediocre, at best. I was unconvincingly told they couldn’t add a fried egg because the eggs ‘had been packed away’, the pork was overcooked / cardboard-like and the Cumberland sausage was the smallest I’ve ever seen. The fabulous chunky chips couldn’t hide that this definitely wasn’t worth £35. Similarly, my fellow diners felt £30 for a very average ‘Signature’ burger was ridiculous. However, what really ruined our experience was the staff busily and noisily clearing all the surrounding tables from 9.45pm onwards and preparing them for the next morning’s breakfast service! It felt like we were in a canteen and in their way. When offered dessert at £10 per dish, we declined and took our drinks to the bar area. So glad we didn’t order the Chateaubriand. My advice; go to the Waverley (a local meat specialist gastro-pub) or The Gosling for fabulous food, service and atmosphere.

I was gifted a SPA experience with an afternoon tea for my birthday and my first time away from my newborn baby. After the SPA session we went to the restaurant for our AT. First I have to say that the staff were amazing. Once seated we had a very long wait though (people who arrived after us got served food before us). Mind you I did have a dietary requirements which I informed them about when I booked the experience too, so they should have been aware. Staff were wonderful and very apologetic even offered drinks or any item on the menu on house which was much appreciated but wouldn’t solve the issue of waiting really (I’m a BF mum so get hungry quickly especially after couple of hours at the SPA). The wait wouldn’t be the biggest issue, the dairy free option wasn’t nice. The sandwiches perhaps were ok-ish (no salmon and cream cheese or cucumber and cream cheese even though you can get vegan cream cheese in a normal supermarket so shouldn’t be an issue), but instead of cakes I was given a quartered vegan waffle (still a bit doughy in places, not nice; and it’s not difficult to make milk free cakes, I do all the time) and the scones were hard as a rock clearly overbaked. I had to ask staff to take them back which they did apologising profusely and soon after brought back fresh ones that felt like just from the oven and maybe even a bit underbaked. I appreciate that majority of patrons don’t have any dietary requirements but I would expect that the restaurant like this shouldn’t have any issue to cater to those who do. This really marred my experience (and made my partner very upset as he really wanted to treat me since I’ve been tied to my baby for the last few months and not had a chance to look much after myself). I have another voucher I was given for a package with a meal and I’m not sure what to do now as I don’t trust to have a good experience while I have a dietary requirement (my baby has a milk allergy - one of the most common allergies out there- and while I BF I am on a diet for him). I’m sad as I was really looking forward to enjoying this experience. P.s. my friend who joined me and has no food restrictions said that her AT was lovely.

We were quite disappointed with both food and service at the restaurant. We were a big group dining for a birthday celebration and looking at the menu and prices, we initially thought the food would be great. I ordered mussels and I most say I still can’t believe a chef made that, it was unfortunately tasteless and the sauce was more like warm cloudy water and I noticed another table were also disappointed and asked if there’s another sauce that can be added to give some flavour to the food. The service was rather slow and it was hard to even get water, they seemed understaffed but the staff were helpful and lovely when you finally get their attention. To then be charged almost £20 for parking at the end just made the whole experience even worse.

Booked this restaurant for our 25th anniversary. My wife had originally booked us a table out in the glass section where she was told there would be a party finishing shortly before our time slot. When we arrived they informed us that the people had decided to prolong the party and we were moved. During this whole interaction we were waiting for about 15min just standing in the entrance for them to sort their bookings out. Nobody apologised. Once we were seated we ordered some cocktails. The cocktails we received were wrong. They let us keep their mistake and made us a new one. Then we proceeded to order dinner. A sirloin stake. We were told that no apparently the kitchen can’t cut the amount that we want from the piece, we had to take 800g. Quite confusing how this restaurant calls itself a grill and doesn’t let people in smaller numbers order what they would like. When we spoke to the waiter (who did not smile at us once since we sat down) he decided to talk to us about the price instead of how many grams we could order. I found this quite outrageous as I do not care for the price I simply wanted to understand how many grams they had available for us to order. It felt quite unprofessional and the whole situation made my wife very uncomfortable. We ended up ordering the Asian prawn dish which was quite strange and not to my liking and a burger, which was good. I would like to point out that the waiters brought us our main course before serving our starters and when we pointed this out they seemed quite confused as to why we would expect our starters to come first. Quite strange. Finally having worked in hospitality myself I would like to point out a few things that I noticed. For a restaurant of this ranking I have to heavily criticise the training of their staff. The waiters were not smiling, not attentive nor ready to help. One woman in particular kept dropping things from cutlery to dishes and even food. Once the food landed on the floor the rest of the staff just stepped on it repeatedly for about 15min before someone decided to clean it up. It was quite disgusting. Lastly I would like to point out that they did take off some of our drinks and starters from the bill which of course is quite nice but I simply do not appreciate when establishment do this instead of actively trying to make the customer experience better. This was a special day for my wife and me and we had the whole family there with us, the whole experience at this restaurant was quite a disappointment.

Service charge on everything. Charging you extra to go to the bar to get your own drink. We wasnt asked once what drink we would like. Incredibly slow service! Very very fatty beef on the roast dinner so dont pick this. Roast potatoes more like boiled potatoes. Starter was lovely but that was about it. The service was the most shocking thing ive ever experienced though.

Pictured is roughly £70 worth of food, they put on a serious vegan tax at this restaurant. On the mains they have a minimum £100 sharing meal which is a vegan steak with a couple of sides, we noticed that the table behind us had a the sharing steak meal which is cooked at your table, this costs £44 less than its vegan counterpart which isn’t cooked in front of you, this implies they are probably paying their staff next to nothing. Starters were tasty but mains are absolutely not worth the money.

A
Anete Usklina

I’m very disappointed in all honesty. The calamari tasted and looked like fried chicken, it had no flavor. For mains I ordered the cod Thai green curry and my partner ordered the titan burger. The curry was awful, no flavor whatsoever even in the cod other than the spice from the chillies. My partner received the vegan moving mountains burger (a vegan burger) despite ordering the titan burger. Then had to wait 20 minutes for them to replace it. We left our food uneaten and no questions whatsoever from staff. Meanwhile they were asking other customers who had empty plates, if they enjoyed their food. In reality they don’t care if you enjoyed your food, they just care about your money.

Dinner was a complete disaster. The waiter spent aeound 20 mins talking to the table next to us. He must have forgotten to place our order. Starters arrived nearly one hour after being sat at 7.30. The tables around us which arrived after us had their starters and had finished them. My husband went to ask where our starters were.. 🙄 Dinner finally arrived. Asked if we would like condiments.. after waiting for the condiments 20 mins I sent the food back as it was now cold. 20 mins later the waiter asked where my burger was . We didn't stay for dessert as it was now nearly 10pm . I am diabetic type 1 with no Dinner is not ideal, infact its dangerous. Breakfast was booked at 10am. We were woken up at 9.18 by reception saying Breakfast would finish at 10am so we would need to go to breakfast now as the had a big table coming for lunch. This was our wedding anniversary celebration and needless to say it's totally ruined. I expect a call and a total refund. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone .

will not come back till they change the stuff (again) - both kitchen and service We have been going to this place for the last 10 years and it has been through up and downs few times. This is another time when it's a serious "down". My son was served a frozen beef carpaccio while he asked not to escalate that during family dinner. Our meze selection tasted very weird - nothing to do with hummus and tzatziki at all. Main were all right while the butter on fish and chips tasted also a bit weird while not too serious to send it back. Overall bill for 3 was gbp 238 with wine. Upon paying i asked the manager if the carpaccio was frozen, he confirmed they do freeze the beef to cut but barely apologized for the final dish to be frozen. I mentioned to him the weird taste of mezes which he bluntly ignored. There was nothing apologetic in the response in general and when i mentioned that i would review this the response was even better - "u should do that if u don't have any better things to do". Both of us had heartburn in the morning which is very rare. The place might do well thanks to tourists but as a local we would not come there till the next "up" cycle. It took the place around 2 years to degrade from the previous upgrade. Finally, after published the same on TripAdvisor and got the response from the manager that i came back to the restaurant after the meal!!! Obviously raising the issue upon paying wasn't considered to be anyhow valid!

Generally, this feedback is more about the hotel.& SPA. We had a spa & lunch booking not cheap at all. But the lunch was VERY limited, and most things cost extra ( it's not the same as last time we visited). A sandwich choice with crisps, not much else, no frills, no starter, no puds, no drink....pretty poor. And the spa!! While the facilities were good as it's been modernised. And the massage was great.. a super lady very relaxing. BUT the staff and service elsewhere were slapdash and careless. No planning or forethought had gone into our booking. When we booked our 50 mins massages for 2 of us and asked for them spaced out after our lunch, not as soon as we arrived after lunch. Well, they did just that booked us in immediately after eating. The young desk staff and apparent Customer Service Manager didn't care. Just repeated themselves parrot fashion instead of offering customer service. Brooklands Spa has gone downhill in terms of service. And I will advise people to avoid it at all costs. Even if you get a deal. Young, inexperienced staff manage your booking and apparent people steal products!! So they need your credit card before you begin. It's more like visiting Croydon than Weybridge. A sad decline of what used to be a pleasant place once upon a time.
