Great food, service and ambience at this location!!

Have been eating fish tacos for years. The food is consistent, it honestly is not as good as when this joint first opened, but they offer a good selection and change up the menu every so often.

Lots to see on the menu. Place has a strong following since it's located close to three high schools and nearby business park has employees who need to eat. Rubio's has great fish tacos and great burritos. All good choices. No matter what I ordered and paid for, my taste buds are happy. Btw, orders are made to order and orders taken are accurate! Plus, very fast and efficient service was my experience, too🤣

I got a chicken and steak street taco and they were loaded with chicken and steak. They were both extremely tasty and just the right amount.

Stopped at Rubios for lunch today. Had the Original Fish Taco Plate. Always good! I love their fire roasted salsa. It is unique and has not changed in 30 years. I just love the charred flavor it has. I am happy that they are open and it's great to see that they are busy as well.

The store just opened up for the day and I wanted to order the classic fish tacos. So good! :) They were cooked fresh and served hot! None of the toppings were old, so everything about it was crunchy fresh and wonderful! Friendly staff, fresh food, and a clean restaurant. *thumbs up

Stopped at Rubios for lunch today. Had the Original Fish Taco Plate. Always good! I love their fire roasted salsa. It is unique and has not changed in 30 years. I just love the charred flavor it has. I am happy that they are open and it's great to see that they are busy as well.

The store just opened up for the day and I wanted to order the classic fish tacos. So good! :) They were cooked fresh and served hot! None of the toppings were old, so everything about it was crunchy fresh and wonderful! Friendly staff, fresh food, and a clean restaurant. *thumbs up

The original fish tacos remain delicious! The steak tacos are excellent, also. There is a sauce counter with slices of lime available. The counter person was very helpful in helping us choose a combo that suited our appetite. The mango tea was an excellent drink choice, with a bit of stevia sweetener added. Everything was quite clean and will kept, including the gender neutral restrooms.

Love their Taco Tuesday. Maria and Tony are always friendly and very efficient. The Chicken Tortilla Soup and Fish Tacos are consistently very good! The restaurant was very clean and well supplied even on a busy Taco Tuesday evening.

Can't go wrong with Rubios.... Flavor varies from Rubios to Rubios. For the most part they're very consistent with their food but not with their salsas. This Rubios in particular was exceptional overall...4.8 rating ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Rubio's was a spur of the moment lunch decision and it turned out great. Inexpensive and super tasty! If you don't need a sit down meal with a waiter check it out. I would go back again and again.

They did well despite having to modify one of our meals heavily due to allergies. It was complicated, and although they left off much more than requested (thus 4 stars instead of 5), we were able to request the missing items. Overall a good meal.

My first time in Rubio's, and there is no better moment than Taco Tuesday. Unbeatable prices and pretty decent fish tacos!! Great place and good taste!! My char-grilled mahi mahi was a bit overcooked (chewy) this time, but on the balance, today was a relaxing and fun experience. BTW, the chopped onions & cilantro at the salsa bar was very fresh today and on Tuesday as well, thank you. Sometimes, this condiment was of rather poor quality.

This place is just A-OK. The last time I visited, I ended up having to wait 40 minutes for a pick-up order alongside a crowd of hangry people all waiting for orders. The salsa container they gave me was barely filled so be sure to double check if you’re ordering to-go or pick up. The place seemed severely understaffed. I think I’ll go for other Mexican options in the area in the future.

I'm allergic to corn and everything here has corn in it. I only came here because my wife wanted a thing. It looked like a nice place and it was clean the people were nice but there was nothing I could eat or drink here corn starch, corn syrup, corn flower, corn kernels etc can't have it. And the place was expensive so no only could I not eat here I had to pay a ridiculous price for my families food here so since the my food allergies are not their fault I'm giving a neutral rating because the place was clean the the staff were nice.

Food is typical, but that's because the food is exactly the same at every store. The consistency is nice. The customer service here is cold and disconnected. I don't need a fluffy conversation, it's not a coffee shop. But even so, they still manage to make it apparent that a customer present is a burden. I've gone four times and I've experienced this twice. Notably, I won't be going back since there's many more options available.

Very much a three star experience. Food is decent to good. Not great, not bad either. I would come back for carne asada or carnitas dishes. The kid chicken bites meal was a bit pricey for what you get.. They seemed a bit stingy with the fries, probably should price it lower or add more food. The place was a bit noisy and a lot of people standing around waiting for their to-go orders. The only real negative besides value was some of the chili / sauces were barely filled to halfway point. It seemed stingy, or lazy, maybe both. Overall, the vibe I got was very average compared to other similar restaurants. Pricing is high for the quality and quantity of food given. A solid 3/5 overall.

Quality of the food has gone down significantly since the pandemic. I used to eat here a few times a month but have now reduced that to 0 as prices have gone up and quality has gone down. Almost nothing tastes good here anymore, which is a shame as it was a great place to eat at in the past.

Pleasant customer service experience, but they consistently screw up my order. It's so frustrating to get home and realize that your meal is all wrong. That's why I try to avoid this location. The Rubio's off the 56 at Camino del Sur is much more reliable.

The food was delicious, the crew was nice but the salmon was smaller than as usual in comparison with others rubios I went and they did put too much rice and too little beans. But the meal tasty awesome!

Empty place, expensive food and is not taste, I order a Shrimp burrito and I count only 3,4 shrimp and the rest was rice and imitation of guacamole, not real...yeahk.

The quality of food has gone down and the amount of meat in the rolled tacos was hilariously small. Never liked the flavor of their beans. A bit too pricey for the amount and quality of food you get no matter what you order.

Overpriced compared to other burrito joints. We paid $15 for a mango salad with impossible meat and it had a tiny pile of mango cubes and 1 oz impossible meat, mostly romaine lettuce which costs a few cents. Burritos are on the small side too. I heard their catering plates are good.

We got Bad quality food in our pick up order. we use to like it, not any more. Disqualified, will not order any more.

I got fish and shrimp tacos. The fish tacos got me concern right after my first bite, the fish was rotten, the flavor is disgusting and it comes with mostly cabbage! Never had an experience like this. I had to thrown all of it away.

It’s not a complicated dish so either the staff are incapable of following the instructions for taco assembly or you’ve run out of money to buy ingredients. Either way, I’ve run out of patience with your “coastal cuisine” that increasingly resembles middle school cafeteria fare.

Do not go to this Rubio's location. I ordered a dish with four quesadillas, chips, guacamole, and sour cream. On first look, the dish seemed normal. However, after taking a few bites, I found a piece of hair in the sour cream, which is absolutely disgusting. Shocking how unsanitary and lazy these workers were... how do you miss a whole strand of hair in my food? I would definitely recommend staying away from this Rubio's, unless you like having germs and hair in your food! There are tons of other great places nearby that don't litter your food with pieces of their hair!

Found a piece of CLOTH in my burrito. Cloth from what appeared to be a towel. Went back to show the staff and get a new burrito and was instead chastised by the manager. Terrible client experience - will not be going to a Rubio’s again!!

My kids love to eat here but this place is grungy. Every time I go in I’m repulsed by how filthy it is. The quality of food at this location is also not fantastic. I once got a salad here with slimy lettuce and sparse toppings. Tonight we went and I usually don’t order anything for myself because I am very gluten and dairy sensitive and I don’t trust them to make the food correctly - I reiterated several times that there must be no dairy of any kind and that I would appreciate them changing their gloves etc so I don’t get sick. Of course they brought my food out with cheese on it (this is not a first which is why I normally order nothing for myself) - this is after being reassured by the cashier she would “let the cooks know” which I am sure never happened. They need way better training about food allergies and they need to put some elbow grease into cleaning this place up!!

Service was horrible. I asked to change my sauce as there were pieces of food in it that was not mine. Heard the employee in the back say what's wrong with it and roll his eyes. The girl in the front was also very rude. Used to love this location....
