High Roller Tiki Lounge

Had a blast at the High Roller Tiki Lounge. Such a great bartender, and she recommended the painkiller and Blue Hawaiian. Painkiller was out of this world. Great option if you want to take a break from wine and bakeries while in Solvang.

A little out place joint in a city known for its windmills and Danish roots. You will find one of the most kickass tiki lounges in Solvang, CA. Greeted by the proprietor Michael, he showed us his establishment with a welcoming spirit and showed the Aloha for my companions from Oahu. He even showed us his new acquisition, a vintage banner promoting a burlesque show in Waikiki. And to top it off the drinks were delicious. For what it’s worth High Roller Tiki Lounge is the place to be.

This tiki bar is a total Gem!! I was super excited to try to wine based drinks and was not disappointed! Why be stuffy about the alcohol restrictions? I think they did a fabulous job with the alcohol they can use! The decor is spot on and chuck full of modern day tiki artists work!! I spotted so many fun art pieces, from lamps and pillows to the bar mats and even candles! Do you like souvenirs? Swizzles!! Match books, tons of clothing, and of course lots of glassware including a mug that’s perfect for your mulled wine!! The bartender was a hoot and I can’t wait to visit again for my next mini trip away from my own Wine country!

One of the best small businesses in Solvang. All of the wine based tiki drinks (winetails) are done very well and are delicious. Live bands throughout the weekends and the wonderful staff keep us coming back over and over. The tiki decor is top notch as is the adjoining storefront. Highly recommend checking them out when visiting Solvang.

The ambiance when you walk in to this little oasis is incredible, like you just washed up on a Caribbean island. There were so many choices of Tiki inspired cocktails, each with gorgeous presentations and so well made with quality ingredients. Slight wait is well worth it. Recommended.

Definitely a place to check out on Friday and Saturday when they have a live band inside. But for a chill empty bar for those day drinkers I'd go from opening till just before noon. after a few months, I went back and definitely got more drinks then I should have and a nobility cup.

OMG if nothing else go for the atmosphere!!!! I recently got into tiki drinks.our waiters was amazing with the recommendations!!! the snack tray was delicious. but omg the decoration is so spot on. it feel like youve been transported back in time!!! Highly recommend!!

My girlfriends and I came here as part of a wine tour. I am not sure that tiki cocktails are actually wine? However I am so so happy we stopped in here! Super fun atmosphere, really adorable decor, fun vibes, and truly great drinks! I know it's a little silly, but I just love it when they put those little glowy things in the drinks. It was so festive, and really makes you feel like you're on vacation! Tricks were delicious, and surprisingly strong! Stop in here for a fun cocktail after dinner, you will have a fabulous time!

Lovely tiki bar in Solvang. Service was good, staff was very friendly. Drinks were all very good, my favorite was the Missionary's Downfall. Atmosphere was fun and on-point. A great late night spot that often has live music. Plenty of souvenir options, including shirts, hats, and drink mugs.

The coolest bar in solvang!!! I absolutely fell in love with the decoration and the ambiance they have going on at this tiki bar! So freaking cool!!!! They have a huge selection of drinks and cocktails! We ordered the mermaid bowl because it looked so cool, and it was so good! Sweet, refreshing and big! Lol I loved this tiki bar! If you’re in solvang make sure to visit them! Also, they don’t have any food in there just a snack box.

Stopped here for wine and true crime tours, LOVED IT! We returned a few days later and squeezed one last drink before returning back home. The service is great, the place is cute, the bathroom is hilarious. Definitely worth the stop for drinks.

Bartender was very sweet and welcoming! The tiki atmosphere was on theme and eclectic, attention to detail from the drinks to the wall decor. They don’t serve food, but you’re welcome to bring food in or purchase charcuterie platters or hummus/pita from the establishment. Live music was an awesome surprise and the owner was friendly and inviting. A must stop when coming to or coming through Solvang!

My husband and I enjoy this place. One of our favorite places for many years now. We are glad they replaced the bartender with a new friendly/welcoming personality. The new bartender Kayla is an absolute gem and a sweetheart. Our waiter Steve always served us with a smile on his face. Our glasses did not run dry… We will definitely be back again and happy that the service has improved.

The painkiller tasted mostly like orange juice as well. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the presentations were spot on for tiki drinks. I just wish the menu was more upfront about it being wine only, we would have definitely ordered differently with a different set of expectations.

The atmosphere is first rate. The drinks, not so much. They should be more up front that they don't use actual spirits like rum and so forth. I imagine they don't have a full liquor license. Stay away from the Mai Tai. I don't know what it was, but it wasn't a Mai Tai. Stick with the beer and wine and enjoy the ambiance.
