Burgers & Vine

So unexpected! This is an unassuming corner of the square in Sonoma. The first clue it was something special is that there were a lot of locals. We tried the burger, which was perfectly prepared. Perfectly. And the real surprise of the night was gnocchi. Not just gnocchi; probably the best gnocchi I've ever had. And I've had a LOT of gnocchi. Chef Carlo is doing something very special here.

Service was awesome. Our waiter “T” couldn’t do enough for us and was very attentive. For a small bar/ restaurant, the food was excellent. The soup of the day was great and the pastas are homemade and had great flavor. I would definitely return!

Some of the best food in all of Sonoma. Came here with the wife last year and we just keep coming back. I grab lunch here every time I'm in town. My wife loves the pasta dishes here. Lots of great options.

Atmosphere is awesome, the food was delicious and the prices were decent. Beer flight was nice as well and they have a flat screen and a protector to watch the games. They also have a full bar. Highly recommend coming here. Customer Service was on point.

We are big on customer service. The server always excellent and gave us great suggestions when we asked and even made sure the salad was bigger than usual when my wife asked if it would be enough to fill her up. I had the shrimp linguini and did not leave disappointed it was excellent. Will def be back if we ever come back into town!!!

Fun informal place. I recommend the Corazon margarita. We had the calimari to start our lunch and it was crispy and light. The fried chicken BLT and pulled pork sandwiches made up our main meal and both were generous and good. If you are in Sonoma Square you should drop in and try it.

Came over here thinking they have BBQ based on the first featured picture but they don’t have any BBQ. We ordered B & V burgers were AMAZING! The service was great and nice view of the mission church across the street. Highly recommend!!!

We visited Jimmy on April 19, 2018. I ordered the combination ribs and biscuit and my wife ordered the burger. Pros: the food was great and my wife enjoyed the burger. I don't care for coleslaw, however theirs was really good. The restrooms was clean and our server was nice and friendly. Cons: None Overall my visit was great.

We walked in to B&V Whiskey Bar & Grille on a whim, and we found ourselves eating the best ravioli and gnocchi we've ever had! Both of those were made on the spot, absolutely fresh. DL Tsering was our excellent server who walked through our choices, explained the processes, a little of the history of the place... spent a lot of time with us. Great food, great service!

AWESOME BBQ! We had the Codi burger and the pulled pork sandwich. Both were great! Prices are a little to the high side for lunch, but truly great food!!!

B&V was recommended to us by a wine server in Sonoma. So glad she put us on to this awesome restaurant. They make everything fresh! We ordered the homemade gnocchi baked with fresh mozzarella in a Heirloom tomato basil sauce, was perfectly cooked and had the right amount of herbs and sauce. We also ordered the Paglia Fieno al Monte Mare that included spinach and semolina linguine with wild mushrooms & jumbo prawns in a garlic lemon cream sauce. OMG, that was slurpidy slurp slurp good! So much flavor! Since we were wine tasting, we had bottles in the trunk so we took advantage of NO CORKAGE FEE WEDNESDAY. But don’t worry if you don’t pack that wine heat, their bottle prices are incredible! Thank you BV for not ripping off customers with crazy inflated bottle prices! You are a gem of a restaurant, everyone was very kind and welcoming too. Our server “T” was the best! Took great care of our table.

We got the Mary’s wings, they were alright- not too much chicken on them but they were good. they could use some celery or carrots on the side for the spice and to dip. the pasta dishes were fantastic! the bathrooms were clean and the ambiance was super cool! great location too! our server was super kind and very attentive! We had a great time!

We came here on Christmas Eve and really enjoyed the experience! This was one of the few places that had a Yelp Reservation on Christmas eve so we really appreciated that as tourists to Sonoma. Good: The service here is quick! I really liked the lobster bisque soup - small portion size but really tasty and has a lot of cream. The gnocchi here is a huge portion size, super heavy too so I couldn't finish it but the bacon inside it made the whole dish super juicy and yummy. I also liked the squid ink risotto - it had a unique plating and had a lot of shrimp and scallop that came with it so it was a good amount of food. The ambiance here is also really cozy, and you can see the food being made in the clear windows to the kitchen. Bad: I found the lobster tagliatelle just standard, I don't think it had enough flavor. Overall, this place is a really great place for being available to book on Yelp - it's not a super unique experience but it's a good place to go for really solid food.

The service is attentive and kind. I ordered a pasta dish as the website said the pastas are homemade but the rest of the table ordered the burgers. The Paglia Fieno pasta was good but in my opinion had way too many onions or shallots. I think they were onions. It was unexpected but completely took over the other flavors. I added shrimp and those were cooked perfectly and delicious. My meal-mates said the burgers were amazing and the fries were a great addition. Maybe the way to go for lunch as they are know for grilled meats a a main dinner recommendation.

Amazing! Homemade pasta. Don’t miss this gem. Our party of 8 all had different entrees and everyone left raving about the quality of the food. We are picky people who travel regularly. Will return 100%! Solid work from top to bottom.

Placed us on the sidewalk, awful (very limited) veggie options, waiter was incredibly rude and disrespectful to us, and the steak was not cooked correctly. Really disappointing experience.
