Love love love it here! This is the best pho I've had. The beef broth is so rich in flavor and is very refreshing! Fresh bean sprout, veggies and chilies are provided to make the soup tastier. The soup is a bit pricey but it is SO worth it. The portion is big, you'll be very satisfied!
My wife and I like to explore to find restaurants near or depends travel to different area and find these restaurants try their cuisine. We travel to South Gate a friend of our recommended this restaurant it's a Vietnamese restaurant called Soup Shop. Asian cuisine like Vietnamese,Japanese,Chinese and Korean and other enthic are very popular with Latino enjoying good Asian cuisine but also springing up in Latinos community. The Soup Shop is a very popular with locals and others who come to visit the restaurant. We find a table right away then the waitress hand us a menu the we look what to order my wife decided to order the vegetarian p⁷ho and fried rice then I order the chicken pho and wings for appetizers. They brought the wings with garlic. Thev wings were cook perfectly and the garlic dipping sauce were Delicious.. My chicken Pho was really good the broth was light and very favorable with spices and other ingredients I really enjoy it. My wife enjoy her Vegetarian pho she say the broth was ready rich flavors. The service was really good we need to comeback soon.
There was no wait. Wait staff was friendly and took our order very quick. It was a good hearty meal
My son and I love this place. The food is always good. The wait and be a little long but it's worth it. The portions are decent and the staff has been friendly every time we order. The wings are crispy. I enjoy the mango habenero sauce which they put on the side. And the pho is always delicious. It's a bit pricey but we're loyal customers who keep going back.
Always appreciate the kindness here. Food is so good. Comparable to restaurants in Westminster. The waitress Brianna always is kind to me even when I dine alone. Perfect meal for the cold and for when I get off work. Will come again, thanks.
Me and my boyfriend have been regular customers here for several months. The pho is amazing and perfectly cooked everytime. The service is good, but I would like to give recognition to Lizette. The quality of service is noticeably better when she's working. When I see her on staff I know we're going to have our belly's full and check payed in no time. Lizette service is exceptional. Her efficiency in seating and serving customers is remarkable, and she is always polite and professional. She is a real asset to this restaurant and a perfect example of awesome customer service
The food was great and Cielo provided excellent customer service!
Nolani was very friendly, great service! Soup was delicious!
Exelente! The broth is just the best one I've ever tried, meet so tender, the price is exelent as well. I highly recommend you to come have some pho here!
Ive been coming here for years and Nolani has been the best so far. Her attitude and customer service is amazing. So professional and kind.
Nolani greeted us with care and she was very polite. She had a great personality and helped to make order easy.
Was greeted immediately after entering by friendly staff. The food was prepared what felt like immediately and it came out hot! We ordered the brisket pho and the veggie one. Bothe were delicious! I also reckoned the garlic cheese fries!!!
I got the chicken thigh Phó and my love got a brisket Phó. It was amazing , the flavor was exquisite and the service was top tier . Would recommend 🔥
We had a fantastic bowl of pho — absolutely loved it! The broth was so flavorful, there was no need to add Sriracha or hoisin sauce, which I usually do every time. Highly recommend!
The food was amazing. 3 out of 4 people in my table got the combination pho and the other was shrimp pho. We added some extra noodle and egg . It was amazing all the orders were good. Although I've had more beef balls in other locations. It came with half a beef ball. Cut in 2. A little underwhelming because I had way more soup than ingredients. But nevertheless, the soup is good too. I also ordered the hoechata pandan. It was creamy and flavorful. I think I will be back for another option . The restaurants atmosphere was good. The place was busy. On a Thursday night. The service was a little different if I have to say. But overall the experience was nice. Oh also the truffle fries are super good I recommend . The sauce is good.
One of the best foods that you can find in the area. I came in and got the combination and it was very amazing. You don’t have to go to Orange County just come here and enjoy their delicious pho. Definitely recommend it to anyone. The meet is not hard and you can enjoy it and have a good time with anyone.
Seriously the best Pho you will ever have! I wasn’t sure if this place was like the one in Anaheim but they are the same! Everything’s cooked to order and super fresh ingredients. This time I had the truffle oil fries, very tasty. I also had the crab fired rice, which was also very good. Service is very quick and staff very polite. I love this place!
I recommend this place even though it was very busy in the afternoon. They attended us like Vip. I love the new menu and the pictures makes me wanna it eat all.
My wife and I have been going to Soup Shop for a while, and it never disappoints. Pho is delicious there, and it comes out hot and stemming yum . The egg rolls are as authentic as they come,I just came back from Vietnam, and this place is just as good highly recommended 👌

The best pho I ever had! Their oxtail is so tender as well

Shoutout to our server he was so chill and the wings, (mango habanero) SUPER GOOD!!!! The Honey Jasmine tea is amazing as well :) overall very good!!
Food was OK. I came here for the ox tail soup but they were out.
I love how they offer a Pho Combination meal and the option of Rib bone that came with the meal. I would’ve rate it higher if they had offered bowl size options because not everyone wanted to eat a big bowl and I felt bad for wasting food.

Not a bad experience but I was shocked at the register I'm not the type to look at proces unfortunately i did it to myself, but I never thought pho would be so expensive for such a small portion of noodles 4 pieces of meat a lot of soup. I paid $65 for 3 bowls and 2 drinks that is insanity. I've eaten at pho spots all over Alhambra gotten way more food and didn't pay remotely close most definitely not worth it but if you're in that area unfortunately that's all you got. Never again. And to kill it off an employee eating alone took up a table of 4 while tables for 1 where available very professional.
Always eat take out but this time decided to eat in and was greeted very poorly and the food was lukewarm not even hot enough for being served soup. I also asked if i can record in there for my own personal footage and as soon as i started recording they put loud music on. It felt intentional.
I always get the chicken pho to go for my lunch break. Usually the broth is really good, savory and flavorful, today it was super salty and off, I feel like they used last nights broth and just heated it up. The noodles were also a little hard instead of super soft. The chicken breast was good though thankfully charging almost $20.... Also they gave us lemons instead of limes. I'll try giving this spot another try but not super hopeful.
I went during the evening and the place was busy. I stood around for a bit until a girl came and took my name down. I waited about 15 minutes to get seated. There seemed to be some sort of confusion or lack of communication between staff. They were dry and everyone coming in would stand around confused as to how the place works. It was strange. The Jasmin tea tasted like old lady perfume. Never again. The pho was okay. Wouldn't order it again. As for the pros, the wings were tasty.. cooked to perfection. Soft on the inside, crispy on the outside. The mango habanero sauce was good too. The cauliflower dish was good as well. It had a unique flavor. Would I go back? Probably not. Maybe their service will get better with time.
Man, I love pho and I wished this place could've given me the experience I sorely wanted. We arrived, were seated and waited nearly 15 minutes before my waiter returned(I nearly left due to the inattentiveness), after which it took 5 minutes to order water, then she took my order. Thankfully, food came quickly. I had the filet mignon pho while my partner had the brisket. We LOVED THE PHO, but we did find a hair in it. I informed the staff, but they offered me a free drink(which I declined)- honestly, I wanted a sincere apology and comping the bowl would've been the right thing to do. The egg rolls I ordered were unimpressive and the sauce was too sweet. I'd go back in a few months in the hopes that I will have a more pleasant experience. BTW, great parking!

If it were only about the food I'd give it a 9.5 star review, however the the service is terrible! One young female employee in particular was very disrespectful and rude since she took my order all the way until throwing an extra plastic bag that I had requested because the first bag was all wet or had a whole in it, at me followed by her obligated vibes when I asked her if she could help me bag up order. She act like she didn't know how to open a plastic bag so that a paying customer can simply place the order inside of it. Still I said thank you very much young lady and she just walked away with her attitude. Very unprofessional! Corporate needs to re-train her. The guys is delicious though! 😋
Decent Pho and Great Customer Service! I had the Pho combination (Beef with tendons, brisket and etc) it wasnt that great due to the broth lacking flavor. I had high hopes due to the reviews. After tasting it myself I could tell most of the reviewers haven't had an authentic/good Pho soup. This place is decent for the location and price.

Food was good but service is horrible. Not allowed to split the check and they charged a mandatory tip that they absolutely did not deserve. The waiter never once checked on us, gave a small glass of water and didn’t bother to see if we needed more. We had to wave down somebody completely different to help us so the whole hour we were there, they blessed us with two small cups of water. They also added the tip without telling us cause there was 6 of us. Again, they did not deserve a single dollar of a tip. They decided to tell us that part at the end. Good food, crappy service. Won’t be back, will get pho from somewhere else, literally anywhere else.
Loved this place, but from a couple months on it’s been going downhill. The service has always needed attention. My last couple Visits I noticed the pho wasn’t that great anymore, today took the win tho. The quality of the meat was a solid zero. I ordered the combination pho. Brisket was nothing but FAT, there was only one piece of tendon and one piece of tripe, the rare meat was completely frozen up stuck together in a ball! No matter how long it sat in the not so hot broth it never cooked!!!! It was literally just RAW, not rare. And although I brought it up to the staffs attention my remark was just ignored. I put the fat and raw meat on a separate plate. I have to agree with other reviews and say that the jasmine tea tastes like perfume. Lunch hour tends to get busy so make sure you are easy to wait.

1. Hands down the worst brisket pho I've tasted. 2. Fried rice with no chicken or beef option? Waitress offered me the next best thing which was fried chicken or duck with upgraded fried rice instead of regular rice... that too was bad... I came here with an open mind, I honestly did.
Idk what I ate, but it certainly was not pho but rather pho inspired! No jalapeños and a lot of pepper. Overall it was okay, but if you’re looking for authentic pho this is not the place.
We put our name on the list and one of the employees said they’d call us when they were ready to seat us we waited for an hour just to find out our name has been crossed and we never got a call.
This place has the worst service, I know most places with the worst service is usually where the food is delicious. Not this place, not at all authentic. A couple of teenagers run it and they pay zero attention to customers. Along with horrible wait times, the broth taste like "Great Value" beef broth. The soup leaves your lips with a greasy residue from the lowest cuts of beef. The brisket phò is super fatty and so is the rib one. Do not come here, even if you need a Phò fix. You will leave disappointed. Absolutely not worth twenty dollars a bowl.
The food is alright but if you're a YouTuber or someone who wants to make a nice video of the food they .don't respect you ,the music is all loud Because of that I'm not coming back.other Vietnamese restaurants have better attention to the customers
Manager Mina, fix your attitude! Your attitude is more spoiled than the soup sold to us last night! Careful everyone that eats in this establishment!!! If you have a bad batch of soup broth, you'll just get a small apology then a whole earful on how they care about their ingredients and phô broth, then get a bad attitude with your replacement thrown at you like a piece of garbage. Been a client since 2021 Manager Mina, do better how you treat concerned customers. Your broth spoiled quick and that is a fact. We weren't expecting perfection, but at least the decency to replace the bad broth. I have been a loyal dedicated customer since 2021 and have suggested your establishment to curious potential customers. Fix that attitude of yours and do better to treat clients with kindness. My husband did his best to be respectful, kind, and communicative, and always left a 30% tip because he trusted your establishment. Treated like a dog is not your best look. It's a drive for us, but we'll stick to the phô place in whittier, Artesia or Cerritos we used to frequent a lot. Their quality never was bad, just their distance was bad.
Was friday night the places was almost full but my 2 brothers and I found a table and a young men Who work there ask us to wait outside because it was a waiting list that was hide and no one was taking care of that list, finally we got in and took 25 min to order after all soup was cold and prices to high.
1-Star Review – Discrimination on Christmas Eve I have been a regular customer at this soup shop for over a month, dining in many times and always tipping well. I never had issues until Christmas Eve. When I arrived, an Asian male staff member refused to seat me and told me to order takeout instead, even though tables were available. I ordered takeout, then politely asked if I could dine in using a disposable bowl. One staff member agreed, so I sat down. Shortly after, the restaurant manager (Vietnamese male with an earring) came over and told me I had to leave immediately, saying that anyone using a disposable bowl must leave. I calmly responded that I was happy to re-order dine-in and use a regular bowl, fully following their rules. At that point, instead of resolving the situation, the manager panicked, raised his voice, and yelled at me to get out. His behavior was aggressive, unprofessional, and humiliating. It became very clear that this was not about bowls, but about not wanting me there. What makes this worse is that we are the same race, yet I was treated with open hostility and disrespect in front of others—on Christmas Eve of all days. This was a clear case of discriminatory treatment, poor management, and a complete lack of basic respect for a paying customer. I left feeling shocked and embarrassed. I’m sharing this so other customers are aware. A restaurant should treat everyone equally and professionally—especially regular customers. update: Response to Owner Your reply is misleading and does not reflect what actually happened. I did check in, waited, and was seated by a staff member. I did not force myself to sit down. If seating was restricted due to capacity, I should never have been seated in the first place. After I was already seated with staff approval, the manager came over and demanded that I leave immediately. When I calmly offered to re-order as dine-in and fully follow your rules, that reasonable solution was refused, and I was instead yelled at to leave. This shows the issue was not a clear or consistently enforced policy, but a decision made after I was already allowed to sit. If a policy exists, it must be applied before seating, not enforced aggressively afterward. Saying this was “based solely on fairness and capacity” does not align with the actual sequence of events. Customers are not responsible for internal miscommunication between staff and management. I stand by my review.
I was really excited to finally try this place, but unfortunately, there was a bug in my Pho. I went up to the cash register to discreetly show an employee and avoid making a scene and the manager was called. He apologized and said he'd waive the price from my table and then he said I could leave the restaurant now? Honestly, it felt like he was dismissing me from the establishment, and I was confused that he didn't offer a replacement bowl as restaurants typically would do, just waived the fee. I had barely even eaten any of the food before finding the bug and felt rushed to leave after that & as if he were kicking me out by saying I could leave now. Obviously, anyone eating at a restaurant is eating bc they're hungry.... Didn't see a point in asking for a replacement meal when it wasn't even politely offered as an option, so I just left w an empty stomach and disappointed in the experience overall.
01/10/26 at 2:20pm In the past, I've had better experiences and better service. Unfortunately, they say this is how they serve it now, even though I've bought from them many times before and it was never served so sparsely. I even bought an extra side, but I feel like the quality of everything has gone down.
My parents ate at this restaurant not too long ago and my mom ordered a soup to go. When she got home there was a literal bug (I believe a wax worm) in her soup. I tried calling the place to let them know but they're not answering.

the food here is good, and honestly the only reason i even come is for a few certain items on the menu. but even then, every time i come here i feel uncomfortable because the service never changes or improves. it was like this before, but this time it felt even worse. from the moment we walked in, the staff gave off a negative vibe. they were more focused on gossiping with each other than helping customers, and they get easily distracted. it honestly felt like they didn’t want to be there. there were at least 5 servers working, and every single one of them acted the same way. not one person stood out or tried to be friendly, welcoming, or attentive. when we were seated, the table was wiped down with a wet rag, but they didn’t bother to dry it, so it was left completely wet. we had to sit at a damp table, which felt careless and unsanitary. once our food came, no one came back to check on us at all. no refills, no napkins, no asking if we needed anything. it felt like the second we got our food, we were ignored. overall, the service is the biggest issue here. the staff lack customer service skills, and it really makes the whole experience unpleasant. there are plenty of other vietnamese restaurants in the area with food just as good, but with staff who are actually friendly and attentive. sadly, this place continues to fall short, and it’s gotten worse over time instead of better.
