Awesome. Unique spot. Love the way they serve you different dishes and you get to see the dish before guessing what you're ordering. Theres no wait time really. Once you're at your table that is. But you will more than likely be waiting about 15 to 20 mins just to be seated. The shrimp balls are delicious.
This is a Dim Sum spot taken out of Chinatown and moved to South San Francisco. All of the dishes you would expect to see. Expect a line on the weekends full of locals
Delicious and wide choice of Chinese food. A little pricier than other places but dishes have their own taste from each other not like other places where each dish (sauce) tastes quite the same.
Went here on a crowded Sunday. We ate here right after getting off her plane at San Francisco airport. This is one of my favorite dim sum places. The atmosphere and the location is very modest but the food is always great. I love having good dim sum. It is my comfort food.
The more I come here, the more I want to keep coming back. Granted this is not a Koi Palace or Mayflower, but then again you're not paying that price for great food here. For seven adults we had a soup and eight dishes (chicken wings, shrimp, noodles, duck, chicken, beef vegetables, pumpkin spareribs, vegetables) plus dessert for about $250.00. Ample parking in their parking lot, and plenty of wait staff to serve the pack restaurant. Although they have a lot of Asian dishes, start with their fried chicken wings or their cold platter. For main dishes, my favorites are the salt and pepper shrimp (they use the bigger size shrimp), the truffle duck, and Soy Sauce chicken. For vegetables, ask the waiter for their recommendations as they'll tell you what's fresh. Staff here are fantastic. They're very attentive, whether you need a tea refill, changing the plates or food recommendation. They treat everyone here as family. They're so attentive that they reminded one of our pregnant guest on certain food to avoid, and recommended some other "safe" dishes for pregnant women. As with most Asian restaurant it's noisy but the noise are from happy customers having a good meal.
You can eat inside here right now. The restrictions have not yet been implemented here in South San Francisco. There's typically seating here available, occasionally you may have to wait for 7 to 10 minutes. The spacing for the seating is accurate and to code. There are restrooms available and a parking lot. It is handicap accessible. The food here is maybe a 3.5 out of 5 for dim sum. However I should point out I have a very refined palate. It would most likely be a 4.5 out of 5 for most. The pricing is very affordable here and the staff is very friendly. Occasionally it might be hard to get a refill of tea but it's understandable seeing the volume of orders they have to make. In a day the chef told me they make over 4,000 orders. This is a very popular takeout and delivery location as well as dining in. I typically like to eat their deep fried noodles or an organ dish, but for the less brazen customers I recommend just ordering dumplings.
Excellent customer service. Great food. Price is very competitive. Place is not big, so tables are close to each other
We went here for dinner and the food was very good. The service was also great, attentive but not intrusive.
Great service and great food! Score!
It's a more homey kind of place. Legitimate real Cantonese food. Fresh seafood, yummy braised duck (need to preorder), bitter melon with egg white. This place also has dim sum during the day.
Pandemic ordering. Now opened for indoor dining but were taking it home. This is what we always order and never a disappointment. We had about 16 orders which cost us about $100. Some stuff we doubled the order because they were our favorites. It fed 5 overstuffed person with just a little leftovers. It really goes great with a pot of tea. Hot sauce and soy sauce provided in small containers.
Our family comes to this resto for high quality dinners. Try the chef's stuffed chicken with sticky rice. It's actually chicken sticky rice, fried in a shape of a chicken. You'll need to order it ahead of time.
The food here was fantastic! Portions are huge! Selection choices fantastic. Most eat family style and share some of each persons selections. The food came quickly and was very fresh. Definitely a two thumbs up and a recommendation for other patrons.
Solid spot for dim sum. At lunch ask them for the specials dim sum for the day. It should be stapled with the order form but sometimes it is missing
A trip to San Francisco won’t be complete without visiting Hung To and having some dimsum. As soon as it opens, people start coming in so you really need to come early to get a table. Service is fast, they have ladies going around carrying food you can choose from, food is great. They also recently renovated and the place looks good.
Super fast service! Festive atmosphere.
Fantastic Chinese restaurant. Authentic and excellent service. The wonton soup is simple and good. It has a combination of wontons, white fish, chicken, and veggies. The lobster with noodles was pricey but good. Lots of parking and easy to find. Great menu selection and not overwhelming.
Friendly service, plenty of choices on the menu, prompt service, clean tables and dishes, fresh delicious food. Perfect score. We come here every time we're near the SFO airport around lunch time Good vegetarian options are chive dumplings, chowmein noodles and Chinese greens.

We keep coming back here. Food is very good. Service is decent but always seem to get an order wrong even though you literally have to check off your order on a menu. For Chinese speakers, you'll have no problem but for English speaking customers, the servers have a hard time understanding. But we get by with hand gestures or pointing at the menu. The restaurant is small but they really tried to maximize the amount of tables in there, so be prepared to squeeze in between tables.
This Chinese restaurant located in South San Francisco is typical of a 4-star rating. Good menu selection and a price that's not too expensive. Foods are good and tasteful with a great amount given. I've been here with my family gatherings with no regret. Good size restaurant and always busy with customers. Ample parking area.
This is a great place to pick up Dim Sum. You can tell by the crowds that thus place pumps out some bomb food. It's super easy to order, and the food comes relatively quickly. Nice staff and good location. I will return to get my Dim Sum fix. FYI BBQ pork pastry only available on weekends.
Overall we liked everything we ordered. No standout dish as such but everything is well done. It gets pretty busy even on weekdays so plan to arrive early. Service was fairly quick the past several times we have visited and the servers are attentive. Inside ambience / decor could use some updating however.
Great place for traditional dim sum. Make sure to go early if you can as the line will start and you can end up waiting 30 minutes plus if you missed the first round of seating. The good thing is you can pick all your favorites and the food is brought to you fairly quickly. The bad thing is you get all your food at once and the food may not be as hot when you start to eat that dish. Service was attentive. Food was tasty.
Arrived promptly at 11am, and we were the 4th group in line. When I entered the empty dining room, I encountered a stale smell that let me know the carpets need to be deep-cleaned or replaced. After the food started coming out, I no longer noticed the smell. Men’s bathroom also needs a little TLC. The dining room filled up quickly with mostly groups of 2-4 people on a weekday morning. We ordered 4-5 dishes at a time so that the hot foods wouldn’t get cold while we talked and sipped hot tea. My favorite dim sums were the pork spareribs, phoenix claws (so soft), and crispy roast pork. Delicious food at reasonable prices, attentive service, and hot tea refills. I’ll definitely be back!!
We are dim sum fans. We are delighted with the variety where it serves dishes not frequently found in other dim sum restaurants such as pig knuckles with black vinegar, congee with pork blood jelly, fried dumplings with chives. If these are exotic, they offer traditional dim sum too. We like the cozy and unassuming ambience. The waiters and waitresses are attentive and hard working but not intrusive . We recommend you try both the regular dim sum and other special offerings. Good price performance and take home many leftovers.
Came here on a rainy Saturday with 7 people. Didn’t have to wait but probably because of the rain. They give you a menu with pictures to write down what you want to order. I didn’t get pics of everything. The kids favorite were the xo noodle, chicken wings, Shrimp noodle and sesame ball. They give large pots of tea and hot water which is nice so you don’t have to keep asking for refills. It’s not a huge restaurant so there can be a wait if there are a lot of people. Today parking was no problem, they have their own lot.
The food was tasty. Roast pork with jellyfish and seaweed was a nice starter. The roast duck had a light dark flavored sauce on, it had a good taste to it. The scallop and shrimp platter was good. The congee soup was light mild. Stir fried beef had good flavor and the bowl of noodles had a good texture. The jackfruit dessert was mild in flavor and sweetness.

Not a very large restaurant, seating was very close together, tight space. Service ok. Good CP! Dim sums in general were a bit above average.

Came for dim sum. We got seated immediately which was nice. Food came out fairly quick. Some of the dishes were better than others. Overall food is ok. Beef meatballs and beef rice rolls were good. Chicken sticky rice a bit dry. Sui mai, I didn't care for it. Chicken feet were ok.
Good seafood. Average service. Prices were high, but worth it for the food quality. The place stinks, wish they took care of their environmentand presentation, the table cloth was all crumbled, cutlery was spread out on the table, tables were too large and the place was hard to move around. But, if you just want to enjoy seafood, this is a good place to ignore all the noise and grab a bite.
The food is authentic Chinese. In fact, I and my darling wife were the only non-Chinese in the restaurant. I’m American. I haven’t learned to enjoy seafood (much), yet. I some lobster and some flounder, but it is too far from what I enjoy to go there again.
Your average dimsum fare. The deep fried items are a bit on the salty side. Beware, not sure of the tipping policy but if you have a four people in your table, and your bill is $200, they will auto charge you for the tip. I thought mandatory tipping is for large parties? I am generous when it comes to tipping but don't like these current trends to tip themselves and you have no say in it. So check and ask. Overall food is average.
I like to eat dim sum but this place is a hit and miss. I ordered several plates and they made a mistake on one of them. They brought a dry tofu wrap with vegetables but I ask to have it with chicken but since I cut it the server said that I already cut it and needed to pay for it. Maybe is reasonable or not but they made the mistake and they should have serve me the correct plate. The dim sum was just ok and the porridge was too salty
Long wait, never any parking, was excited because these are signs of delicious food within..but it was unremarkable. Ordering takes a long time, but the food came quickly. Don't order things with taro and you will have a decent meal. 3.5 out of 5.
We came here around 11am and saw only a few people waiting. We like coming here because they have their own parking lot. We noticed a lot of empty tables, but the wait seemed forever. We ended up waiting for 2 hours for a table for 2. (Turns out they had a funeral reception that day). They have ladies bringing food around, but it seemed like the same things kept cycling through. We didnt have a menu to order from until we asked. We ordered a few dishes and the house pan fried noodles. The dim sum was okay, a little bland if anything. The pan fried noodles came, also okay. We definitely felt greasy after the meal. I would probably not come back here. The tables are really squished together and the service is not great. The food is only okay, so I'd much rather go to a better tea house.

I have been here a few times but the most recent visit will be the last. The dim sum is average in price and relatively consistent in quality. When the check (that was split in 2) came for our party of 4, a tip of 15% was already handwritten on the receipt by one of the staff. Not only did they stiff themselves on a 20%+ tip because that’s what I normally tip, they unethically and fraudulently wrote out their own tip amount and expected us to sign it. No where on the menu or receipt does it state an automatic 15% charge for parties of 4. When confronted, they had nothing to say in response. If you dine here, keep an eye on the receipt.
The food was too expensive for the quality that it had when it was given to me and my family. Also, when we gave them a 5% tip because the food wasn’t that great along with the service, one of the waiters followed us into the parking lot and demanded us to pay the minimum tip amount of 13.50$. It’s ridiculous because from my understanding it is illegal to demand a tip, unless it’s a service charge, which was not communicated to us prior to dining.
Food was alright. The amount of times the waiters had to apologize to us and surrounding tables for messing up their orders was ridiculous. We ordered a plate of lobster and noodles and we were given just the lobster. When we asked the waiter why it didn’t have the noodles he told us we got confused but it was in the name. When they checked the menu they realized they were wrong and gave us the noodles almost at the end of our meal. The price on the food was sky high. Oh and they practically force you to tip them. Super unhappy about our experience at this establishment. Definitely going to Panda Express next time.
Best Dim Sum around the area. Everything is hot and tasty. Staffs are friendly. 2023. Update 1-29-2024. Dim sum has been changed and didn't taste as good as before. Maybe they have changed the chefs.
I had a very disappointing experience here. I already left a tip, but the staff insisted I didn’t leave the full 15% and forced me to pay the remaining amount. As far as I understand, tipping should be based on customer satisfaction—not something you’re pressured or obligated into. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and left a very negative impression. Their plates were dirty and oily. I won’t be returning!
Very bad experience. We arrived around 7pm and there were two tables already seated. We waited for 25 minutes and our order never came, despite we politely asked. They were trying to cook all the dishes ordered by the other two tables before cooking ours. I asked the waiter again why they can't cook our order at all, and he said "the other tables came before you, if you don't want to wait you can leave". It was incredibly rude. He didn't have basic respect for customers. The other waiters were all standing there indifferently. We were ok with the wait but absolutely not with being treated like that. We left immediately and found another restaurant. The waiter didn't say sorry even once, throughout the whole thing. I will definitely not come back.
We ordered 10 dishes and 3 were served in an hour, while the other tables that arrived later were almost full. The old grandma with short red hair has a bad attitude. After the order was taken, 3 dishes were brought out, totaling 6 dishes. An hour and a half already. Wow So good? But the tall and thin waiter has a very good attitude.
