Ever since I can remember, I've eaten at Jack In The Box. From a very young age, my parents took my sisters and I to eat Jack's wonderful burgers. And as I grew older, I loved their burgers even more. Their fries too, as Crispy as they always are, I've always found myself returning to Jack In The Box just for Jack's Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich and Fries, with a large Dr. Pepper. :)

Long wait but usually quick. Cashier/drive thru was awesome. Former employee here, so I know what they go through. Good job Taylor.

The worker labraya was very helpful I mistakenly ordered my food at the wrong address and she was very helpful in fixing it and I got my food thank you labraya for being very helpful and kind 10/10 service

Fast and friendly service. Chirsti at the drive thru window was great! We ordered a jumbo jack sandwich and it was made fresh. It was a great temp to eat, ive never had one before and this one was great! Next time ill get it without onions. We usually come for tacos or a teriyaki bowl. I highly recommend those and the curly fries are also one of our favorites.

I haven't ordered the salad here in quite a long time. Pleased to see that the grill chicken was very tender.. not only that above all the girl that took my order in the Drive-Thru was extremely nice and patient with me! I couldn't decide what to order. I think this girl deserves recognition and as well as the girl that brought me to order out to my car. BTW I dug into the salad halfway through before I took the picture.

My first time to the jack in the box and it was perfect! I pulled in off the freeway and the food was hot and fresh and bomb! Customer service was just as good. Even the fries were hot and fresh. I love the their new hi-c fruit punch it is jammin!!

I went through the drive thru this evening and the woman that helped me was so nice. It may sound silly, but I had a really long, difficult day and it was so nice to deal with someone so polite and caring. (The receipt says her name is Jamirah). I came here after work. The drive-thru was empty and my order was placed right away. The cashier handled the transaction perfectly and I went on my merry way. For fast food, you couldn't get any faster, especially since i ordered a chicken sandwich. All in all, a pleasant experience.

This the by far the best Jack in the box in town! The dining area is clean, along with the restrooms ( which is rare these days). All employees I've encountered have been professional and friendly. Cuddos to the management for providing such a welcome hospitable experience.

The staff are always friendly and provide quick service (gotta rush back home for N&C right?). Dining and parking are clean and safe, though undergoing construction can make it hard to notice when to turn. There are sometimes people hanging around but they're harmless and only ever ask for a bite to eat, and the prices are great so it's affordable to feed your face while helping those in need too.

I am giving a definite 5+ Star review because of Julie, an employee at this location off of Chester Avenue In Bakersfield. She helped me after hours because my truck wouldn’t fit in the drive-thru, she could have turned me away (like many other employees at other places have after the dining room has closed) but she didn’t, she welcomed me in & made a great effort to get my order to me as quickly as possible, all while showing great hospitality & kindness. There should be more people in the world like her, thank you again Julie! I hope someone that has the ability to give promotions reads this because she has amazing Girl Boss potential :)

Darrian was the person who gave me and my first date incredible service! it was a busy night yet she was calm, patient, polite and focused! Absolutely loved my interaction with her!! wish there was more people like her! She deserves a raise! she even deserves a promotion!! she has amazing customer service skills! 10/10 will definitely come back if she’s there working again!

I've never tasted a fast food burger that was seasoned this perfectly. Whoever was on grill tonight killed it!

I'm really starting to like Jack in the Box more an more. Thay have a big selection. Of good food. And it seems that it's a little less expensive as brand X burger. An brand Z burger. And puls I'm kida.getting burned out on the other burger spots. The drivethough is faster than the other 2 burger places around here. A lot faster.

This is my go to JIB spot in town. I've never had my orders wrong and I've always had smiling CS. The location is a busy area downtown and I think that's the only downfall. I've never gone in so this is purely drive thru experience. But definitely my go to spot for quick food that I know my order will be made correctly!

The food was good but the service was slow. Although the employee was totally multitasking and doing so many things at once so we didn't mind waiting. As we were finishing our lunch she was even wiping down tables and sweeping the floor. She deserves a raise and some help.

I ordered off the app, and I was 2 miles away when I ordered I pull up tell them it's a mobile order and was told to pull up to window, once there, was then told they Just received my order. I was only person in line, and that I needed to pull forward, I do so, around 11:07am, I wait and and employee come out with 2 bags of food and says we are waiting on another sandwich to be brought out, my final food was brought out at 11: 30 am and was explained that she dropped my a sandwich and thank you for patiently waiting for the food, I arrive with food at my destination only to Realize for the drink, drove back and waited in line again to get the drink, they upgraded it from a Medium to Large. My hubby who waited said Thanks. I don't like how you don't get a paper Receipt so you can't take surveys when ordering off the app plus it was slow to arrive at the restaurant. Plus the egg rolls seemed at least one seemed kinda burnt. But the food was great service was with a smile. Just did drive threw tonight tacos only service was with a smile but the outside was a messy mess and inside I could see french frys on the floor plus some papers.

The breakfast items we ordered were fresher than expected. Service was average. This was a good fast food experience. Thanks!

Stopped by today for lunch on Saturday, May 13, 2017 and immediately smelled a dirty drain. Had that mildew odor thing going on. I used to love the Spicy Chicken sandwich, but after today I doubt I'll order another one. Guess it just wasn't a good day.

My Spicy chicken sandwich combo was wrong. Specifically requested curly fries in place of regular ones only to find them still regular. Chicken wasn't nuked enough in the microwave I guess because it was tougher than... can't think of anything

Food was accurate and didn't take too long but they had locked bathrooms abd I had to order to use the potty which made me uncomfortable then after I had to wait for the associates to unlock it very lucky I didn't have a accident in their restaurant geez! I get they get a lot of the homeless people around cuz of the bus stop across the street but come on people a toilet is a toilet

I like the different menus that Jack in the Box offers at this time the food was cold it was not up to its usual par self and the onion rings were not hot the onion rings are cold my Sourdough Jack even though I specified only mayonnaise thinking that maybe I would get one that was nice and fresh was not the bread was cold this bacon was cold everything was you no cold it like I've been sitting there for a while so it did not live up to its normal self and I was greatly disappointed

Even years after working here this Jack still can't get their act together. When they're taking a long time let that be a sign that they're going to mess up your order in one way or another. It goes without saying but throughly check to see if you got the right items.

Homeless in and out,1 Homeless sleeping/ laying down inside booth. Got kicked out after some time. Food was hot. Wokers were ok. Was some what cool inside. Would have got 4 stars if not for the homeless. But Thay need to cool off too...........

Got the sour dough jack. Was not well put together... staff was great other than not being able to break my 50 dollar bill during a Brunch hour. Asked for pickles and we'll they only put 2 on their. Was a bit light if you ask me. Was not very busy at all so they could have did a better job preparing My order.

Started with a message at the drive thru of credit card or exact change only. Right away a bad start. I had ordered on the app and asked for extra lettuce on tacos and barely got a good taco. Feels like these were the worst ones in the bag. Tacos are my go to for Jack so to keep getting disappointed makes me think I should just drive down to del taco instead from now on. Service can improve a lot if the staff had pride in their work. It shows up in how the food goes out to the customers.

First moved here to lake Isabella I used every dime I had to get here and it took me a little while to get some money up. So being a man I missed having a burger and it end up being about 2 months until I could afford a burger and one would think having a burger at fast food restaurant would be far from the best burger you could have. But when I sunk my teeth into that ultimate cheeseburger well it made me feel like a man again.

The food here is hit and miss. Never know if you're going to get fresh food or old tasting food. Friendly employees however the food not great.

I never frequented this particular location, but my wife was on lunch and it's close by. We both ordered a combo meal with chicken, and both were bad. Not bad as in, "this isn't very good". Bad as in, "This 'meat' has some cartilage, or tumor, in it that makes a disgusting crunching squish when I bite into it. Not quite sure what happened to their batch of chicken, but the texture was not of white meat. I've afforded 2 stars instead of 1 because they did give me my money back, but not before arguing with me about the freshness of their product.

There was a buzzer to get into the bathroom and the staff do not want to be interrupted to push the button. It must be because they haven't cleaned it since 1992!! Of course it was lunch time, however there weren't that many guest there. I must have missed the rush by 2 minutes because it looked like a food fight took place in dining room. The food wasn't hot, but the service was good VB and the order was correct. I gave 2 stars for the one lady who began to tackle the dining room disaster and still had a smile on her face! She was a saint!! Otherwise, it would get a -0!

The drive through service, MARON! For 1:00am in the morning... Professional and kind. Timely mannor: needs improvement! As far as the food: my grandmother as a poor immigrant has fed me "chank-las made of leather and recycled good year tires with 50 thousand mile warranty taste better. Overall: Out of what! 5!?.... A TWO (2) BECAUSE the drive through employee was graceful and competent in their position.

I hate to give it two stars, because it isn’t entirely their fault, but I would avoid this Jack in the Box. I’ve come here twice in the last month on my way home from working nights and both times there have been issues with deranged meth addicts loitering around. One actually started yelling at me while in the drive through and began hitting my vehicle when I refused to give him anything. My second attempt (as we speak) another individual is currently doing the meth dance in the drive through. Hard pass. Added a star for the fact that the employees do seem courteous if you’re willing to undergo the gauntlet of drug addled beggars harassing you in your car to get to them.

Fast food should be fast, or at least somewhat expeditious, yet I stood at the counter for 10 minutes and no one has even looked at me or asked me if I needed help. Food is very greasy and was prepared with no mind for food safety or quality. Floors were clean, the condiments were stocked and bathrooms were seemingly well maintained.

This jack in the box always seems to take forever. Everytime I've been here the fries and anything else that went through the oil fryer tastes just so yuck like very used up oil not once has it ever been fresh or appealing . That's my experience hopefully yours is much better . Thank u

Ordered through the drive-through. After I paid I waited for about a minute when they asked me to park in the front because my tacos were not ready yet. The only 2 things I ordered was a chicken sandwich and the 2 tacos. When I receive my food all of my items were cold, So I don't understand why they had me move, there was no one behind me and my food was not fresh.

Food is good. Service Ok Atmosphere Terrible When I arrived I had to wait in the car because a drunk or drugged man was coming to my window. I ignored him. I should had left right then, but I was hungry and had to stay close by because I had to go to a close buy business. I also wanted Jack in the Box. I thought he had gone so I went in and ordered. When I sat down and started eating he came in the restaurant and started jelling. I couldn’t eat so I waited for him to leave and i took off through another door. I was very concerned, scared and worried. It ruined my food.

I ordered tacos last time HELLA sauce like cmon manager retrain your employees or something have better food quality.

The supervisor here had a attitude because they had to fix my sandwich in my drink that they did incorrectly, and she told me to shut up and then told me to come and make her shut up, challenging me to fight her.

The dining area is very messy. There is trash on the tables. And when I came, especially today, all the tables were occupied, but dirty from previous people. They have poor service. They need to up their game.

I wouldn’t suggest anyone go here! The manager DeAnna is very rude not only was she cursing her employees out the whole time I was there waiting for her to take my order, she has no customer service skills. She refused to help me because I advised her being a manager she should be a better example for her employees (Customers are always right). She refused to give her name who’s training these “managers”. My experience was absolutely HORRIBLE! You guys really need to consider hiring a new manager! She is no good ! Unfortunately I had to give one star to write my review when I really it’s -10stars!

Don't usually leave reviews but think everyone should know this location handles all food with out gloves precently. Not sure why they are allowing this food violation, but it's basic restaurant policy to handle food with gloves. Not one person wears gloves. Completely grossed out. They are packing your food and bagging it with out gloves n have really gross long finger nails that touch your unpackage food. Before handing it to you for eating.

Jack promised to listen but I'm still waiting for a return phone call. My little girl and I went through drive thru that cold night and ordered our dinner. It was dark and the drive thru girl Harris slammed the drive thru window at us just cause we didn't want to park on the dark side of the store so others go go through. 😢

Just a heads up not to come to this place at night because screw the service. Your night shift employees seriously need work. He was especially rude to us. I get having a rough night, believe me...I’m a cashier at Walmart so I KNOW....I’m scheduled very late sometimes. BUT we were the only ones in line. Not even a, “here’s your food, have a nice day” just handed me my food and locked his window immediately after. We only got one straw and he didn’t even ask if we wanted sauce. Don’t think I’ll be coming back...not like it matters. Shape up, bud. It’s a 24 hour store. I wouldn’t come if it wasn’t.

I got my wallet stolen here. Worst restaurant you can find, if you think of going there please take 10 more seconds and go across the street to Sonic drive. The service was awful, the card machine is broken and the cashier had to repeat the procedure at least 20 times to get my payment, the commands of my friends and I were all mixed up. And yes the best part is that somebody stole my wallet inside this restaurant, one of the employee told me "it was completely normal here and I should get over it"... When I spent my day calling their manager Deanna to get her check the security cameras but she keeps promising me to do it and to call me back but she never does it or she just put the telephone on mute on the corner of the office and wait until I hang up. So not only she does not provide a safe environment, she is not trust worthy and does not help me at all to solve the issue that happened in her restaurant. Why is she not answering me anymore? why is she avoiding me? why doesn't she want to check the cameras? Run away from this place.

Tried the new curly fries with 3 cheeses and chili $3.00 . What a waste! Only person in line (still took forever) just to get a tiny container ( like you put Chinese leftovers in) only 1/2 full - that equals 2 bites - of soggy fries , gross , won't try that again. G🐩mom

WISH I COULD RATE ZERO STARTS. Tried to rip me off, twice, and is not Customer friendly. Ordered two grilled chicken sandwich ($8 each) and they took the meat from one sandwich, and cut it in half to make two sandwiches. The manager tried to deny they cut it, but they did not cut the meat fully, so when it was pulled apart a chunk ripped off. The two pieces fit together like a puzzle piece, I showed the manager this, and she couldn't look me in the eye, after that. Afterwards, they said they would refund me, and asked for receipt, i wasn't given one, and they said that was impossible. I said bull, and told her to go check the video in the drive through, after a while, the asst manager showed up and gave me the refund. Furthermore, when they refunded my card, they would not give me a receipt, and I had to argue again. Finally, they let me take a pic of the receipt on my phone. Horrible place, stay away from the downtown J.B.

Ordered a number three which is a sourdough Jack combo which came to just under $18. I get home, which I only live 2 miles away. I did not order curly fries, but that’s what they gave me. The fries tasted very old and the sandwich was lukewarm. This restaurant being brand new was usually pretty good about their quality. So I would drive to this store instead of going to the one right outside my neighborhood. Well today was pretty disappointing paying $18 for a bad quality of food. I called to try to complain and the phone keeps hanging up. I only have a few Minutes on my lunchtime, which is stopping me from going back. But at least my dog got an $18 lunch.

2/6/24 approx 640 pm. Drive through experience was horrible. Poor customer service, over the speaker and worse at the window. Employee was clearly offended at change of order, and visibly showed her frustration at customer. I will not visit this location as I’ve had better experiences at other establishments. Please train your employees for customer service skills.

I ordered the classic sauced and loaded popcorn chicken box and didn't even get any sauce on it. My daughters curly fries were put in the bag upside down and dumped everywhere. Pay better attention people. And you want $20 an hr? Lol

Not sure why the lady in drive thru had such a bad attitude. It’s not that hard to be nice and courteous to customers. (I also work in food) and would never just be saying “ok ok ok anything else anything else” in such a rude tone, and then when I asked for sauce at the window she seemed irritated. Like girl quit your job if you don’t enjoy it. Also noticed they parked the car in front of me, me, and the car behind me? Just to save your drive thru times cause you guys are messing around at your jobs? lol.

I came to the drive through at 4:04 pm no one in line. I ordered a double smash jack and the loaded tiny tacos. When I paid the lady at the window told me to park infront of the door and my order will be out. I waited for 20 minutes!!!!! When I got my food the burger and fries were cold. I had to wait till I got home to heat my food up in the microwave. I don't understand why it took them 20 minutes to bring my food out when there were no other customers in the drive through or anywhere else in the parking lot smh

The fryers or grills seem to always be broken. I drive up to the drive thru, and they ask what I'd like to order. After repeating myself 4 times, I was told that the fryers caught on fire and were not working. If it's not the fryers, it's the grill. If those are all in working order, they are out of popular items. The service inside also takes forever.

Gave the lady $15 for $10 and change order and she only gave me back dome coin change. I told her i need my $4. She said no you gave me $11 nope i gave her $15 cause it was what my last customer just had gaven me. I won't be going there ever again and letting all my clients know that they are thiefs

Horrible service! One employee was more concerned about taking a selfie, flirting with a co worker and going into the cold box with that person while I was waiting for nearly 15 minutes to place my order. I actually had to call out to get service. Will never go back to the one across from bus terminal down town again. They lost me as a customer

Food was absolutely disgusting. Got the chicken strips couldn’t even eat them. Fries were nasty as well. Never have eaten at one before and I will have to say that jack can stay in the box. Even putting a ton of ketchup on the strips. Didn’t make it any better very dry and over breaded. Now my stomach hurts. Won’t ever be back at one ever again. Yuck

The white lady at the front took my order and was stubborn as hell made me order on the kiosk when she was literally right there and on top of that was mad about a truck meet going on outside and giving me attitude. How is that my problem that people playing loud music outside your restaurant?And on top of that found a 12 inch long parasite like hair in my food after I ate half the burger and saved the other half for tomorrow morning. There's always homeless people lying on thr ground in front of the building and standing near the drive thru asking people for money. I use to visit this location daily because I work close by. The workers do nothing about the homeless bothering customers and I've always received the wrong order or cold food numerous times. I wouldn't recommend visiting this location.

On July 16, 2025 at about 12:30 PM I went with my sons to this Jack-in-the-box to have lunch. When we went inside there was a dirty man walking around with his shirt off. We stood at the counter for a few minutes while the staff ignored us and kept telling the guy that he had to put his shirt on. After awhile they told us that if we needed to order, to use the kiosk. I've been coming to this Jack-in-the-box for years with my sons and my friends, and this was the first time I was told I had to use the kiosk to order. I hate those stupid things. They take so much longer to use than it takes to order with a person. We just left and went to the Carl's Jr a short distance up F Street and spent $57.44 there.

It had a been at least 6 months or more coming here never had a problem. but today I decided to order a supreme sourdough, breakfast sandwich and boy. I was extremely upset. It look like a little kindergarten put the sandwich together. Everything was overly melted or really cooked and the smallest ingredients ever the bread out the ingredients. I’ve never had a problem here, but also they did get my order wrong and part of it. It was my fault. I double checked the screen but I guess I missed that she said French sausage French toast platter with sausage and I asked for just a breakfast platter not only that lots of homeless around this area, which hasn’t been an issue before, but it’s just got increasingly worse and when I went back to tell him that I got the supreme sausage sandwich and I showed it to them. They said oh yeah that’s what it looks like. Well, that’s not what it looks like because the one on Oswell does not serve it like that so I don’t know if it was management needs to step their game up or it’s the company.

I ordered 6 tacos. Extra lettuce no sauce. My Tacos were SUPER greasy. Not fully cooked. And, I only got 2 tacos the way there were ordered. So disappointing 😞
