My room had a very friendly creature living there already! He hissed at me at first but I gave him a piece of cheese and that seemed to make him happy. There were some bugs around when I first checked in, but once I'd pacified the creature he cleaned em up real quick. Should be a lovely stay as long as he doesn't get out! EDIT: He got out.
Lovely venue for a large event! Attended my high school reunion and had a blast. Food was tasty, staff was friendly and decor was updated. Bathrooms are nice too! And the bonus, minutes from the beach so you can explore the sand and surf!!! Check out my fun beach video, oh yes!!! #havemorefun ##seniorlifestyle
We got married 9/13/2024 If you’re looking for a place with princess and ballroom vibes this is the venue! Beautiful staircase where you first enter. The chandeliers are so pretty. My pics don’t do the justice. I can’t recommend this venue enough. Food was delicious and strong drinks flowing! Chelsea was amazing from the day we signed the contract-the day of the wedding. The wedding day went by so fast. The bridal suite had 2 bathrooms and was super spacious. Only complaint was the sink in one of the bathrooms was leaking in the bridal suite. Chelsea quickly resolved it and included a to go station due to the inconvenience. Everything else was amazing. So many people raved about the cocktail hour. Many options to choose from when choosing the cocktail hour food. The grooms suite needs some work/updating. The chair is falling apart we didn’t take pics in there due to it being run down. We made the most of it and took pics in the lobby area.
We had our wedding here on 10.28.2023 and it was absolutely perfect. The venue was beautiful and the staff were amazing. Chelsea did an amazing job helping us with the entire process and keeping up up-to-date on our timelines. Penny was a life saver on our wedding day. She was there whenever we had a question or needed anything. Billy kept us calm and helped direct us on where to go next. He even hopped behind the bar when the line got too long. We have received so many compliments on the food and over all atmosphere of the venue. Thank you to everyone at the Shore Club for making our dream wedding come to life. <3
I love the shows! We have a retired group and we usually see at lease 5 to 6 shows a year. Always great talent and excellent food and service!
Been there at least 7 or 8 times once with a party of 8. Food and drinks have always been good. Have eaten at the bar a number of times and Patrick the bartender always makes you feel comfortable. Would recommend it for any type of meeting large or small. Plenty of parking. Joe Soos
The Shore Club stands as a prominent establishment in Southern Monmouth County. The service and offerings are truly exceptional. Planning a weekend getaway by the shore? Recently refurbished, the rooms are modern and exude cleanliness. While primarily recognized as a wedding venue, The Shore Club captivated myself and other guests with one of the most memorable weddings I have attended. Moreover, the creativity of the staff, coupled with the versatile event spaces, allow for a diverse array of gatherings throughout the year. During the summer, the Pool Bar emerges as a refreshing hidden gem. The annual Mistletoe Ball, now entering its fourth year, is a fantastic way to celebrate the holiday season. Whether you are dropping in for a visit or seeking a vibrant dining experience at the Seacrest Grille, the seasonally themed bar promises a memorable time. The Shore Club caters to a wide spectrum of preferences, ensuring there is something for everyone.
Went for a wedding, and was part of the bridal party. We had access to the bridal suite. It was a very nice room, plenty of space and cutely decorated. The only complaint was there was no elevator, and going up and down the stairs was torture in a dress and heels 😞. The wedding was a lot of fun, and what blew me away was the food! The cocktail hour was very tasty! Plenty of options. And even the dinner after was delicious as well. Wedding food can be hit or miss and this is def a hit! The aesthetic of this venue is definitely a mix of past and present. You can tell where there have been upgrades and also parts of the venue that are a little dated. I would describe it as familiar and cozy. It was decorated for Christmas and the decorations were very pretty. But if you are looking for a modern venue this may not be the place. The bartenders are very sweet and welcoming. All in all it was a great time!
My husband and I just had our wedding at The Shore Club and it was AMAZING. Everyone we worked with, especially Chelsea, was incredibly kind, professional and went above and beyond to make our day go seamlessly. The venue is beautiful and exactly what we were looking for. The bridal suite was so cute! Cannot recommend The Shore Club enough. Thank you to the whole team for everything!
I had an event there this weekend and it turned out absolutely incredible. Billy the general manager was such a pleasure to work with and so hands on. Chelsea went out of her way to add perfect touches to make the evening all the more special. Gabriel was our main attendant for the evening and was amazing.. attentive and truly went above and beyond! The rooms were clean and updated. If you are looking for a breathtaking venue . The shore club is it !!
My Client had a wedding here and was very happy with the service she received. Chelsea was the point of contact and was very responsive to my questions. Penny was the Maitre D on the day of and knew exactly what needed to be done. I loved the remodeled lobby and the bridal suite was awesome! They added a grass wall and neon sign which really popped. I found the general manager to be very hands-on and engaging and the staff to be very friendly. I do feel communication could have been a little better. The venue has a set way of doing things which can be somewhat difficult if the client wants to do something a little different. Overall I would say it is a lovely venue and I would recommend this venue to future clients.
I had my engagement party here a few weeks ago and it was absolutely stunning! The team was so amazing and set everything up for us so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The food was incredible! The bar in the lobby was also such a big hit! s/o to chelsea for helping us capture our ideas for our event!
We went to Spring lake on 5/2 with a group from the Glassboro Senior Center community and it was so much fun. I had the best time with my husband. The food and service, live band and comedian was all in good taste. It was a great experience.
Great experience at the Shore Club! The lobby and entire venue was beautiful, but Patrick who is one of the main bartenders at the Shore Club stole the show. BY FAR the absolute best service we have ever received and was willing to answer all of our questions along with tremendous service. If I lived closer to the Shore Club this would definitely be my new spot to attend more often. Shout out Patrick! One of the best to ever do it! If there was a Hall of Fame of employees at the Shore Club, he would easily be a first ballot candidate. Top Notch all around, highly recommend to anyone holding an event or just visiting the shore for the weekend!
We chose to have a baby shower at the Shore Club this December. Dorina Bregu, Wedding and Events Sales Director was outstanding! She couldn't have been more accommodating. She knows the place and the people she works with, her recommendations were key to making this gathering top notch. At the time of event the staff introduced themselves and checked in throughout to make sure our vision was what they delivered! I was very impressed with the coordination and attentiveness. They put up Christmas trees for us and moved things around seamlessly. Their response time was minutes! The prices were very affordable, family members are considering future events here too. I understand they are under new ownership, the vibe is positive and promising. Home of the new OLEA restaurant. I wish them all success.
Our wedding was one year ago today. The Shore Club had everything we wanted on site: a beautiful ceremony space, cocktail hour room, reception ballroom, a bridal suite, and rooms for our guests. The package included so much, including an extensive cocktail hour that guests raved about, signature drinks, a wedding cake, and a late night snack for guests. No need to pay for an after party - they keep the lobby bar open late! Chelsea, and later Dorina, answered every question and made sure every concern we had was addressed. The staff, including Penny and Heidi, were so attentive and ensured that our day went smoothly. They set up all our decor and even offer some beautiful decor and centerpieces. The only thing that was slightly disappointing was that after our room block was filled, and we still had guests who wanted to stay, we learned that other rooms had been reserved for the wedding the next day. This didn’t seem fair, but there were several boutique and chain hotels very close by that were able to accommodate our guests. Other than that, we really could not have asked for a better experience. We would highly recommend The Shore Club!
My wife and I just celebrated our wedding at the Shore Club on 7/11/25 and could not have been happier with our day. Dorina did a phenomenal job managing our event and attending to every detail imaginable, the wedding and hotel staff could not have been friendlier and more accommodating from the bartenders throughout the venue, to the check in staff, to the wedding event staff. Penny, the Maitre'D was attentive and on top of everything. Kiernan, the General Manager, was helpful and resourceful, accommodating, and quickly fixed any miscommunications or confusions if they arose during the process. I could not recommend The Shore Club enough to couples seeking their perfect wedding venue!
My husband and I got married at The Shore Club in May. It was such a magical and special day. Chelsea, Heidi, Gabriel and the whole Shore Club staff were amazing from start to finish. We worked with Chelsea during the wedding planning process and she was so helpful and always responded to our questions whether they were big or small details. The hotel was great, the bridal suite was perfect for the girls to get ready in, and the guys got ready in one of their hotel rooms. We took pictures in the beautiful venue and took the trolley service to a few other off site locations. We were supposed to have our ceremony off site and less than 2 weeks before the wedding, we had to change those plans. Chelsea was so supportive during this stressful time. We ended up having the ceremony in the atrium at The Shore Club and it was decorated so beautifully with the sun shining behind us. The food during the cocktail hour and the reception were excellent and we had the best night of our lives. This venue was affordable and at the jersey shore which holds such a special place in our hearts. We would highly recommend booking The Shore Club for your special events! 10/10
Just wanted to say that I had a wonderful time dining at your restaurant 04/12/2025 . Both the food and the atmosphere were excellent! I especially appreciated the Pork chop was perfectly done, the atmosphere is really cozy, especially sitting by the fireplace makes it very romantic for the couple.I will definitely be returning!
We recently stayed at The Shore Club for 1 night to celebrate our friend's 50th birthday. We drove in from PA. This place is cute and has a beautiful chandelier in the entryway with plants all over. It makes a nice impression when you enter. They host a lot of weddings and parties here. There was a wedding the night we stayed. Everyone seemed very happy and were having fun. Our room was small and casual but fine. The staff were really nice.
Went here for an October fest event. Food was good and service exceptional. Surprisingly, it is not handicapped accessible.
The food was awesome. I highly recommend the Sea Bass. However the service was lacking and our server seemed uninterested in us and would disappear often, even though the place was only half full. And, for some crazy reason, they feel blasting music extremely loud and to the point you can't have a conversation with the person next to you is somehow equal to great ambiance.
Attended a wedding here and was blown away by the quality of the food. There was a taco bar and fresh made guacamole that was of absolute quality. The salsa Verde was spectacular. The room where the ceremony was held was bright and beautiful, with huge windows and plenty of sun. I thought from the waitstaff to the servers to bar tenders, everyone was prompt, professional, and wanted you to have a great time. I thought it was very clean, well organized, and tasteful. The staff were neat. The linens clean. Everything was well maintained. I do have some notes: The pool- which is near the reception area, is loud. Maybe turn the outside music down or off? Put up some signs directing people to where the wedding/event is being held. The people at the front door didn't seem to know. A 25 dollar dry-erase board that can go on a closet might be worth the convenience. Water stations. Add some lemons to fancy it up, and put them around your common areas so that it takes some work off your waitstaff. Make it cooler. It was August.
The pictures of the entrance and lobby are very nice so we booked the place. When we got there, however, the room we stayed in was kind of shabby and not very nice. The furniture was old, bent, sticky in places. The chair was broken. However, the banquet hall was all ready, set for a wedding, and the pool was nice to experience. We wanted the place for the pool. There is also a small bar by the pool which we didn't use. The hotel is close to the beach and restaurants in Spring Lake, a good location. We paid less than we would have at The Breakers on the Ocean, (which was sold out), so we got less. Kiernan mentioned to my husband upon checkout that they're going to be making some improvements to curtains and air conditioners. I would paint the walls though and install new furniture instead of air conditioners because the air worked fine. It was quiet with not many people. Overall, our stay was just "okay".
Attended a wedding here. Did not stay in one of their hotel rooms. The venue itself seemed a little dated in some areas but the wedding itself i had no issues with. The food was very good (Cocktail hour and dinner). They do have a restaurant and bar in the lobby as well. My review is only for the wedding because that was my experience here.
Went with a group of 40 on a bus trip to the Shore Club. The food was very good. Started with salad and hot bread, then delicious beef & barley soup. My entree was brisket, roasted potatoes, & string beans with carrots. Dessert was apple pie and vanilla ice cream. Open bar for one hour & had three drinks. There was a Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons tribute band, which was fun to dance to. The comedian was just ok.
Our stay was a good one! Great rooms, just renovated and clean. The service was also great! Kiernan, the Manager, made sure of that. Breakfast has a couple of choices but let's not forget it's a "Continental Breakfast"...not a homemade one! The place is undergoing renovations which I believe in the near future will make the place a 5 star hotel at all levels. Finally just want to add a note about the amazing dinner at the Sea Crest ant that was delicious from the appetizers to dessert. My family and i enjoyed that meal!! The waitress was very pleasant and professional. We will go back!!!
Always a pleasure to stay at the new and always improving Shore Club. Went down for the day for some Ocean Air and booked an overnight stay. TY
Mother’s Day party of 5 arrived 620 for 630 reservation waited 5 minutes to be seated. Didnt see the waitress till 6:55pm when we ordered drinks and apps, drinks came out the spicy jalapeño margarita was terrible. A second waitress/bartender came out and said she would take itt off and give her a strawberry margarita at no cost, bill came guess what it was on there. Only had 2 waitresses on for Mother’s Day. They still honored half price wine which we had a bottle and half price pasta on Mother’s Day which was nice. Food was good but they are definitely la king in staff/waitresses service. Food wise the prime rib was overdone asked for medium see picks, the skirt steak was delicious, burger asked for medium came out still bleeding and the scallops were delicious. 50/50 for food, service need help, one waitress bartender was good she had a white ba pack didn’t get her name but most helpful. Don’t think I will be returning
We had a wedding here and the staff were amazing!! The venue was awesome! The food was great! However, the room that we stayed at had a little to be desired. The wall near the entrance in our room had dry paint bubbles, around the same area had some brown stains on the ceiling. My bed was a little crooked and the A/C wasn’t the greatest. But, the TV, shower and most of the lamps worked well. I recommend this place for a wedding, not to stay.
The hotel is of course very pleasant with the pool and the bar service which was very good the whole 5 days. The only cons were: - the breakfast which was not a surprise because announced continental but just the lack of staff and the several main things missing (sugar, bread, milk…) and to finish - the condition of the room. The toilets were moving and the entrance door not closing and having to push with my whole body to be able to open it. According to the night rate 270$, there are several things to change because it is not worth it.
We attended a beautiful wedding at the Shore Club Inn . The Wedding appetizers were delicious as was our sit down dinner of Filet, roasted potatoes, asparagus spears or sea bass or chicken. There was a wonderful mixed green salad with strawberries, cranberries, glazed walnuts with a light balsamic dressing. The food was delicious. The DJ was great and very entertaining. He made the reception a blast! I am not sure who made the wedding cake but it was scrumptious- white cake with strawberry jam between the layers. There was also an ice cream station which the kids loved. The 2 bar tenders were great and did an outstanding job. Our room was disgusting with black mold on the ceiling. There was only one tiny mirror above the sink in the bathroom to put make up on and my husband had to shave at the same time. The bathroom was filthy when we arrived. There was either vomit or pee on the bathroom door. The bathroom floor was filthy with sand and dirt in the corners. The bed was so high that I had problems just getting up in the bed. I'm 5 foot 5 and I have no idea how someone shorter could get in the bed. Only 1 lamp worked beside the bed. There was a tiny refrigerator in the room. There were no hangers in the room. We could not get the room to cool down as the thermostat must have been broken. The only thing good about the room was the large screen TV. The shower had good water pressure but no hand held wand to keep a Woman's hair from getting soaked. There was no sit down bench in the shower either. This room could not be used as a handicapped room. We always leave a generous tip for the house keeping staff but not this time. My advise is to find other hotel accomodations if you are attending a wedding at The Shore Club Inn. We saw the bridal room at the Shore Club Inn...it was spacious and very nice. There was a private sitting room outside of the bridal room. We had a blast at the wedding and it was a 10 star review for the wedding, reception, dinner, DJ, and seeing family members. But the rooms need a major rehab. We had dinner at Klein's Seafood on Friday night and the food was wonderful. The guitar player was great! We ate breakfast at Marigold's. The food was delicious with generous portions. .
We enjoyed the location, lobby bar and pianist. The staff was pleasant, and the on-site manager, Kiernan D., was extremely helpful. While the reception area was impressive, I hope the Shore Club undergoes much needed upgrades (plumbing, electric, furniture). Tighter maintenance and organization might be in order, especially at breakfast.
Room was rather sketchy with an interesting closed off loft above the bed. Took a picture from standing on the bed to cans and food up top. Deff a dirty place but convenient if your at a wedding down the street
The hotels around here are expensive so we chose this one for about $240. It was worth about $59. The sink was pedestal no space for anything. The toilet was hard to flush. The faucet was barely attached to the sink, and the water backed up the entire time. The. beds are a foam and mine was lopsided the refrigerator does not work. There is no microwave. I had to walk outside for quite a bit down into a grungy basement level with a warped door, the man who checked us in told us he did not know if breakfast was going to be a buffet or continental it turned out to be apple jacks and some wrapped stale bagels with a bug flying around it. I cannot emphasize stale enough. The lobby is deceiving because it has a very beautiful staircase and floor, but the rest of the place is decrepit. I would not stay here again. I gave it a two instead of a one because the room was clean, even though there are tons of black and gray watches of gunk all over the drapes
My bf & I went there 3 different times this year but this time got charged a restaurant fee. We were thinking that maybe it was a credit card fee & asked for it to be removed since we were paying cash but the manager told us that this was a town ordinance fee from Spring Lake since Jan 2025 and can’t be removed. Not true since we have been there 3 different times this year & never got charged it till today which honestly I think it was a credit card fee even though we were paying cash. He refused to remove it & I looked it up online & found no such ordinance. The service also not the best as I feel we were forgotten about as it took over 30mins for them to take our order after drinks came out & then we never saw the waitress again but only the food runners & the people picking up the dishes. The manager brought us our bill & collected the cash. Not one person asked us if everything is ok or if we needed more to drink. Very disappointed that we were lied to about the fee & forgotten about regarding our order. Not likely to return. Don’t like being forgotten about & lied too. :-(
The Pool Bar in the back* 2 Stars - Disappointing Experience We came to the Pool Bar in Spring Lake with low expectations, but unfortunately, even those weren’t met. Our server was friendly enough at first, and I made it very clear that I have a serious allergy to avocado before placing my order for the ahi tuna tacos. Despite this, they still came out with guacamole on top. I had to send them back, which was frustrating enough — but when the new plate came out, it looked like the filling had come straight out of a can. The taste matched the look — honestly inedible. The only saving grace was the cold beer, which earns this place the two stars instead of one. Also, it was really off-putting to see people smoking in areas where people are trying to eat. Not exactly the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to stick around or come back. Definitely not in a rush to return.
We stayed here for a wedding, and while the wedding itself was absolutely beautiful and the food was delicious, the hotel experience was a huge letdown. Our mattress was 32 years old and hard as a rock—truly one of the most uncomfortable nights I’ve ever had in a hotel. The room felt very run down; it’s clear they’ve made a few updates, but nowhere near enough to make the space feel comfortable and certainly not enough to justify the price. On our second night (out of three), we started hearing a loud knocking noise that wouldn’t stop. When we called the front desk, an employee came up, stepped one foot into the room, and immediately said, “Yeah, I can’t fix that. Do you want another room?” He moved us next door but didn’t offer to help with our bags or anything. The service felt incredibly subpar. The lobby is gorgeous—clearly where all the renovation money went—but that level of care doesn’t extend to the guest rooms or the service. Overall, the wedding was wonderful, but the hotel itself was awful. I wouldn’t stay here again.
Worst room I have ever stayed in!! This place changes for Luxurious room but honestly it’s a motel 6. Horrible rooms!!
I played music at this venue for a wedding. DO NOT get married here. Your guests will stand awkwardly in the dining room while they take 30 minutes to set up cocktail hour!! Very unprofessional and very disorganized. The cocktail hour should never be in the same room as the ceremony. Several workers could not tell me where the cocktail hour was after the ceremony so I could set up. After packing and lugging my stuff between guests all over the first floor I found out it was in the same room. I was asked to move after I set up again and the haste in which the workers moved around me broke part of my sound equipment. Then the lady who was in charge of the venue condescendingly screamed at me about the existence of my extension cord. Absolutely never want to be here again. Do not patronize this establishment.
This place is not worth your money. I am thoroughly disappointed. I stayed here with my boyfriend and family because we had a beautiful wedding nearby. The rooms are SOOO outdated for what you pay for. My blinds were broken, the door was broken, no lighting, stained sheets. I got locked out of my room and it took 30 minutes for someone from the front desk to help. We called and called and called to get help and finally someone answered. They were home! There was NO STAFF ON SITE!! I hate to rip a place apart and I am not cheap but I would NOT spend the money here.
I don't even know where to begin with all the MANY issues that happened on my wedding day on 10/7/2023 because of the incompetence of this staff. Chelsea who was my only point of contact for the past year and a half in regards to planning my wedding was not there on my wedding day because she was on vacation and chose to hide this from us. mI didn't find out until I checked in to the hotel the night before. My new wedding planner became a woman named Penny who I had never met or heard of before. She really tried her best but because of Chelsea's horrible management skills Penny was thrown to the wolves and was unaware of everything we had planned and was essentially putting out fires all night. Many of the decorations we made were either not put out, not where they should have been, or lost until my mother went on a wild goose chase to find them. Multiple guests did not have place cards and/or seats and it left everyone scrambling to fit the missing people on their correct tables. They also forgot to put out the promised buckets of beer as to not over run the bar and we had to tell them to do it. The "open bar" ran out of Miller Lites in the first 10 minutes of our reception as well as other things including johnny walker black and ginger ale. The bartender we had was apparently very rude to our guests and kept sending our guests out of our wedding to the lobby bar to get drinks he said he didn't have the ability to make due to not having the originally promised alcohol. The bartender at the lobby bar Patrick then was upset we kept coming to him. At the after party they also stopped serving water to guests even thought MANY were still ordering drinks and tipping VERY well. Patrick also yelled at my Mother in Law after she accidentally pushed over a tray of croissants over the bar and when she told him about it and offered to clean it for him he said "I'm here to serve drinks does it look like I have time to clean up your mess" Mind you, this is AFTER she already asked if she could clean it for him but did not want to just go behind the bar without permission. On to the hotel. Rooms are nice, staff is insanely unorganized. They over charged peoples cards, charged people for extra nights, and making the reservations and making sure they honored all reserved rooms was terrible. They gave our hotel bags to the wrong people and did not give them to our guests and then when we told them and asked where the hotel bags were they said they were out until we went in the office where they were holding our decorations and found them. I was also informed at 2am on my wedding night I had to move my stuff from the bridal suite into another room. They did offer to move it but since we weren't aware everything was everywhere and since they lost multiple items already we couldn't trust our stuff would get there safely. Everybody blames everybody and nobody takes accountability for mistakes. Gabe was absolutely amazing and worked so hard for us to try and correct Chelsea's horrible management issues and lies to make our day the best it could be. But all the things we made, paid for, and were so excited for fell through the cracks because Chelsea did not give Penny and Gabe the information we discussed at our final meeting two weeks prior leaving Penny and Gabe to run around like chickens with their heads cut off to try and figure out what to do. Do not trust Chelsea to get things done or be honest about her part in the planning process. she didn't even find a beach for us we had to find it ourselves. She didn't even prepare her staff with everything we planned at our final meeting and that caused the ball to be dropped on so many things. This is already so long but there are so many more issues that happened but just be aware the staff is insanely unorganized and poorly managed, nobody communicates to each other (such as sales department to hotel) and Chelsea is a flake and doesn't even say she won't be there. (I am not the only person to say she was a unplanned no show)
Rooms are very old and not well taken care of. No one answers the phone most of the time, the event we went to at their location was nice. However I would never stay there again. No elevator and very dirty rooms. You walk up the beautiful stairs only to walk back outside on a roof to your room.
These reviews are deceiving, most of the positive reviews are for the venue not for the hotel. The hotel is run down, dirty, and overpriced. There were stains on the comforter, musty smell, mold in the fridge, and hair in the shower. 2/2 keys stopped working on day 1 of being there. For >$700 for 2 nights, this place should have been much nicer. It was by far the worst hotel I’ve stayed in.
Very Disappointing & Not Worth the Price We stayed at this hotel while in town for a friend’s wedding. Based on the website and photos, we were extremely excited for what looked like a luxury experience. Unfortunately, the reality was nothing like what was advertised. The lobby is absolutely beautiful and the new restaurant looked great, but that was the only positive part of our stay. After arriving, we waited nearly 20 minutes at check-in before anyone came to the desk. Once someone finally assisted us, we were brought to our room only to find it very small, dirty, with mold on the ceiling and chipping paint. To make things worse, the heat didn’t work, which is unacceptable during this winter season. The employee who checked us in did apologize and said he couldn’t fix the heat, so he “upgraded” us to a deluxe room. While the room was larger, it was still not clean or well maintained. We also had no body wash and asked the front desk twice for it. Both times they said they would bring some, and they never did. Several of our friends stayed at the same hotel and also had issues. Some rooms were dirty, and one couple had a broken door lock and had to put a chair against the door at night just to feel safe. Another one of our friends had no working hot water. There was also a broken water pipe near our room that we reported. The staff showed little concern and had no sense of urgency about addressing it, which was very unsettling. Checkout was the final straw. The front desk attendant was unfriendly and charged us almost $1,000, which was incorrect because we were charged for the wrong room. It took extra time and frustration to sort out something that never should have happened. The area itself is great with plenty to do, but this hotel is absolutely not worth the money. It looks beautiful online but fails in cleanliness, comfort, customer service, and value. We would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone.
On 12.03.25 a bus load of folks when to the shore Club for a fun day trip. The "beef" lunch selection was so touch the steak knife could not even cut it. Drinks were good, waitress was very accommodating. Decorations were poorly displayed. The comedian was old with very old jokes and attire. Seating at table #25 was a joke. Could not see a thing & even though the girls had lovely voices they seemed unprepared and catered to the folks facing the band. We saw a little off the ceiling mirrors. A total waste of time & $$$. Never again!
0/10 don’t recommend . The event staff were beyond rude and the person who I assume is the event manager is also very rude. I can understand being stressed at an event when you are over packed and it’s top tier service. This was mediocre at best and the way they spoke to others at the event I attended in front of guest was disgusting. Bossy, loud, pushy I won’t recommend and will not return. I’m so confused how they are able to treat others like that and still have a job. The entire establishment is also unbearable- it’s so hot it’s like the AC didn’t work at all. If I could give no stars I would. Do better
the worst hotel experience ever in my life, extremely uncomfortable bed, pillows , bathroom. went for a wedding in the area, had to leave after the first night because I got back pains, headache and bug bite on my neck and leg
The servers were very rude . I understand when you have a time limit that things can be tuff . That doesn’t explain why the servers have to be rude, disrespectful make faces at you and complain that is not customer service . I have worked in restaurants before you should serve with a smile and be respectful. I would really appreciate an apology for the way I was treated on a day of Elvis and Patsy Cline’s show
during our stay we had numerous issues/concerns: 1) electoral outlet in bathroom did not work its a gfi but could not be reset buttons they were stuck 2) other outlets in room were very loose everything you plugged in would just fall out 3) refrigerator was a joke not very cold and would have been nice to have a microwave 4) front door extremely hard to open had to put shoulder into it, plus had big gap under door 5) spotted what look to be cockroach and a huge spider in room that would run under back door ( not sure where that lead to) 6) pool was very dirty not something i would swim in 7) bed was like sleeping on a rock 8) toilet ran non stop and sink faucet is loose 9) no shower door that would cause water to get all over bathroom floor making it very slippery. And based on the rates you would think your staying in 4 star hotel
BRIDE'S BEWARE! My wife and I got married at The Shore Club on 2/21/25. We did a run through of the ceremony the night before and asked if we could reserve the front row for the groom and bride family. They said no reserved signs necessary they would usher the families to the front. At the start of the ceremony they did not do this and my wife's family was scattered throughout the crowd, leaving the mother of the bride alone in the front row. We paid for Steak filet's at the reception and were served a lesser cut in a wellington crust and refused to accommodate food allergies of those who could not have the crust. Also during the reception, at the first round of drinks, their bartender was waving the tip bucket in the groom's face expecting a tip. Everyone tipped throughout the night but the groom and the first round? Finally, the day after, when we went to check out we still tipped the staff hundreds of dollars and asked if we could get the dinners for the 8 guests we paid for but could not attend. We were told no but that we would get a gift card for their sister restaurant for that value. Since then the manager Kiernan and the coordinator Dorina have been ignoring all forms of communication Texts, Calls, and emails trying to get said gift card. I could go on but think long and hard before using The Shore Club as a venue on your special day.
