Great local business. Staff is super friendly. The adobada, birria, and pollo asada are on-point! Not listed on the menu board, but you can get 3 street tacos for $8.50. Great deal. Breakfast burritos are huge. Nice little dining area for lunch!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great spot! The inside is really nice and inviting. We didn’t try any drinks this time, but the bar area looked great—perfect setup with TVs for watching sports. The food was excellent! We had a carne asada burrito and a bean & cheese burrito—both were delicious, super generous portions, and the prices were very reasonable. Loved that it came with chips and salsa too. Definitely want to come back for Taco Tuesday!
Fresh food. Fast service. Loved the rolled tacos!
I picked this spot because I happened to be in the area. I'm so glad I did. I learned on arrival that they serve tap beer and bottle. I ordered 3 fish,1 carne asada, and 1 adobado tacos. The adobado was my favorite. I also learned they have $1.50 adobado tacos on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. You heard me right. I'll be coming back!
My favorite spot!! For tacos and micheladas!! Don’t forget to stop by for taco Tuesday!!
Great place !! Very tasty food
I had the asada plate, and I loved it! Huge portions too!
Amazing place with great service. They are clean, friendly, caring, and make one of the best tacos I have ever had.

Great food, the cooks are well versed in their art. I have sampled approximately 3/4 of the menu and it has only made it harder to decide what I want each time. Try their traditional items like sopas and tamales. One taste and you'll remember why you fell in love with them in the first place. Many large TV screens, comfy stools and soothingly warm wood bar make for an inviting experience. I would enjoy Los Mexas for either the atmosphere or the food but, to have them both feels special. It's the kind of place you want to be the first to tell people about. I challenge anyone to try them and not talk about the experience. Go on. I dare you.
Top notch customer service! It could not have been better. And I enjoyed the food, especially the horchata. The chips came out hot and fresh too. Thank you for a great experience!
I’ve been to a very large amount of Mexican restaurants in San Diego over a long period of time. This one tops the list currently. Very unique and homemade blend of meat seasoning really helps it stand out in a great way. Portions are massive, prices are good. Staff is friendly. Micheladas are the best I’ve had north of the border. Strongly recommend.
I can’t exactly judge the food. The item I had was good, but needed seasoning. I will most definitely go back and try more items! The service was great and atmosphere inviting! There a bar, I wasn’t aware, we ordered to-go, but I want to go back and dine-in.
put in a large order for my family with tortas burro tacos and quesadillas. the portions are very big and and delicious. they also provided plenty of salsas and chips as well. would definitely recommend to everyone in the area
Friendly staff, great and authentic Mexican food. The food was high quality and will definitely will be going there again. Amazing horchata!!!
The fish taco was amazing. Very delicious and fresh tasting from the sauce and the cabbage. The fish had a nice crunch and neutral taste. I enjoyed the flavor of the 3 fresh house salsas. The green one was savory, the red was a savory spicy, and the orange one for an acidic spice. We also got the adobada burrito. It was huge for just $11.99! Meat, guacamole, onions, (and cilantro). No extra fillers. The adobada was nicely charred and sweet. It reminded me a bit of char siu compared to other places I've had adobada. We only interacted with our cashier during our time there, and he was friendly and helpful. The dining area and restroom were both very clean and there are a lot of open tables for seating. The prices here are great and you get a lot in return. The taco is $4.99 on regular days, but only $1.50 on Tuesdays. I'll be coming back to take advantage of that and trying more of their meats.
Best TJ tacos any kind best carna asada plate best service best customer service and I know because I am very picky and been around I got my 6 kids on that a lot of food in one order
Best pollo asada in San Diego. All the people who work there are super nice. Easily my new spot.

Has to be some of the most authentic Mexican food I have found!!! Highly recommend
was recommended to come here and I’m so glad I did! The food and service were both excellent, pleasant surprise. Highly recommend!

I had a great machaca breakfast at this new place taking over La Baja. The machaca was well seasoned and abundant. I used the corn tortillas to make breakfast tacos with their hot sauces and they were great. The service was friendly and welcoming. There's plenty of inside seating.
12oz beer 10 dollars? A soda that cost 5 dollars. Food is whatever overpriced. Ended up going to SARITAS. I spend that kind of money in downtown not in the hood. Once again SARITAS for the win.
Called in an order for pickup. Staff was friendly, prices were fine. Got home with food. The size of the burritos were impressive, no complaints about getting enough, that’s for sure. The sad part - I had the adobada….it was a deep red, but it had next to zero flavor. What made it worse was the texture of the meat was tough and overcooked It was like it had been up on the rotisserie all day, cooking and cooking and cooking…. I stopped eating halfway through, after realizing there was no flavor to be found and it wasn’t going to get any better. The carne asada had seasoning on it that I can only describe as cinnamon. Not good. And lastly, the “guacamole”. If a little avocado mixed in with some sort of salsa verde is what they call guacamole now, well that is just a shame. Nothing but 5 stars for this place, that’s why we tried it. I don’t get it.

The food was terrible asked for ground beef tacos we got shredded beef, big difference. We asked for a bean tostada and got some weird soggy bean and meat thing and they put a tortilla on the top of the tostada. Let me put it this way, we threw everything away and made our own Mexican food, we could have saved ourselves $55.00🤬
